Princess Auto

Worst customer service possible. Website says items are in stock, but they are no where to be found. Asked the staff are rude and they wouldn't take the time of day to help, and that's when you finally find someone who works there. Princess auto has become a joke of a store. I'll never be back

Looking for a cable with a hook on it said they had some in stock at the Brantford store. Could not find them so asked a guy at the store if he could help but said if there not in the spot I was looking in we don’t have them and just kept on walking Thanks for all your assistance lol

The best place for cheap tools, good surplus area too. Always many things on sale in their flyers

Had came into store with about 20 min to spare. Asked where the "fast orange" was, all I got was a point to the north west of building and made a grunting sound. It seemed like they were more interested in closing the store than helping a customer. So I left with my money.

Great place for tools and stuff. However, huge problems finding most of the things I need. The Brantford store continues to have staffing issues. I'm there once a week and apart from cashiers, most staff seem to be different every few weeks. Sadly, staff can't find some items that are in stock that got put on the wrong shelf.

I love saving money and shopping at princess auto but I will never return to the Brantford princess auto, it's so unorganized and the staff are pretty much useless if you can't find what you are looking for on the floor by your self don't even both asking for help.if it's says they have lots of stock online they don't have any instores.

Ok.but they didn't have the item they said they had in stock on the computer.trip for nothing

Gone are the days where an employee actually comes up and says can I help you find something.
But still a good store

I have been to this location multiple times, they never have sale items in stock and the staff generally have no idea about much of anything.
Go to Hamilton instead!

I always joke that Princess Auto is the ultimate "toy" store for adults! They have tons of products that cater to both men and women, kids, and pets.
I've always been impressed by all the innovative and cool items! Most products sold at Princess Auto are relatively good quality at an affordable cost but there are some items that don't withstand the task they are meant for but Princess Auto does exchange items if they happen to malfunction/break.
Overall, it's a very handy store with lots of useful products, items you wouldn't expect to see, and affordable pricing!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Straight up disappointing service. They are severely understaffed and treat the staff they do hire poorly. Some workers are clearly taking on 5 roles at once like Steph. The plcae is disorganized with rpoducts scattered in the wrong places, and even on the floor as if they want people to trip. Shopping at this weak excuse of a hardware store is a waste of your time and money. Try Lowe's or Home Depot where even the prices are usually cheaper.

Great store. However there is never anyone at customer service for exchanges/returns. There is ample staff around for taking the desk when needed instead of returning at the check out line.

Asked staff for help. Was requested to provide sku# which I don't have. Had to look up number on my phone. Nxt time I will travel to Hamilton to receive the great service I usually receive.

Great prices, great selection of pretty much everything, love looking through the surplus section and finding little surprises. This location is very clean and well organized with friendly helpful staff.

I'm going to keep my 5 star review because princess auto has great pricing and also items you don't see at box stores. But today I was at the Brantford location and I didn't see anyone working there one the floor that could help me find what I was looking for. Eventually I found something similar but not the item on sale. I'll still go back to this location but it's out of my way to return for the sale item.

Very accommodating and thoughtful staff. I needed a product to be brought to my vehicle. Even though they were not offering curbside pickup on that day due to staff shortages, they accommodated for me due to health issues. All 3 employees were helpful, pleasant, and willing to help. I am sure not every store would be so helpful.

Staff were excellent and accommodating. My dog had surgery and could not be left alone, and my husband needed something as he was in the middle of fixing something. They allowed me to put her in a carriage. I got my purchases and my dog was safe. Thank you so much for the accommodation.

They are open to the public right now. I could of gone and picked up what I wanted instead of waiting 5 days for online

I had a good experience with the Branford store. But I was not impressed with the Stony Creek store because they supposedly had 3 when I ordered. Instead of cancelling the order and being notified by email they must have tried calling me the day that Rogers crashed. I probably could have ordered from Brantford and picked up my order when I was in Brantford on Tuesday. Now I had to go back to Brantford for no reason just due to lack of communication on their part. I can understand how this happens but I also see how it could have been preventable too

Staff member (Kim) was absolutely amazing today.
10/10 A+

Selection is good but every time I go to this location, the wait at the checkout is very long. Usually 1 cashier open at a time.

Great store - I love to browse.but why is the music SO LOUD! In fact why is there music at all. Clearly it is just for the staff. I don't see customers dancing in in aisles. If you have to have music, turn it down!

Not so good third time we went in for a sale item and couldn't find it. The one older lady at the middle counter consistently of no use and does not offer to get some who can. I'll go to another location.

Not the easiest to find sale items due to the diversity they carry. But they do carry so much, for a great price, and there are many eager-to-help workers. Manager was also ready to help with an item (trailer lights) that had a wiring defect.

I’ve never been treated so poorly by staff at a store as I was in Brantford Ontario. I called the head office about the situation and they did apologize but passed me on to the district rep. Who never called me back!

I got a call from the store manager some days later who had just returned from vacation but nothing was ever done to correct the situation.

It left such a bad feeling with me that I have never returned to any princess auto since 2018.

Every time one of their fliers is left in my mail box it’s thrown out promptly. I now visit other stores to get the things I need.

Cathy, Cara and Alyssa were very helpful. They are very suitable people for Princess auto and always learning from each other. I am glad they don't work at Tim Horton.

I hate to say it but Princess Auto has strike one, thanks to a faux pas last week. We were interested in a wheelbarrow on sale, so I inquired about a raincheck. So I received a call in short order telling me they were in stock. I told them I would be in on Wednesday and because assembly was free, and because I have been having problems with a sore back, I asked for one to be assembled. Wednesday rolled around and when I went to pick it up, it came out in pieces (not assembled) but I could either wait for some time while they assembled it or take it this way, and I was assured it was a simple assembly. NOT! I finally got the thing together after hours of deciphering the directions, and of course I could hardly move. I was also told the reason it wasn't assembled was because they just came in. Okay so if it was in stock last Friday, then there should have been no problem putting it together for me. Somebody was twisting the truth and I was the one inconvenienced.not my favourite way to keep a customer happy. I will be watching closely for twisted wording in future with Princess Auto.

Great place to shop. Awesome selection, great prices on the majority of items they carry. The store is well layed out. There's something for everyone.

Needed a torque wrench and socket set and was pretty easy to find for my first time being in there. Also friendly staff easily helped me:)

One of the best places to shop. They may not have everything but if they don't have what you are looking for they will help you find it.

Unbelievably helpful staff every time I visit the store. Always so helpful and polite. Store is always tidy and anyone can direct you to anything they carry in any department. No hassle returns or warranties and having your receipt saved by your phone number in store means they'll keep that info on hand for you as well. Simple and genius. Brantford gets a perfect score from me and I'm glad it's in my neighborhood! Every other competitive store should model after Princess Auto especially this location. Best and most interesting part of the weekly flyers is always the Princess Auto flyer. Special thanks to the customer service counter where you are always greeted with a smile, a great attitude and an answer to your questions or concerns. Thanks for all your help and keep up the great work!

I could spend hours in this place. Lots of cool stuff in the "liquidation" aisles and I can generally find something that I can use that is on sale.
