Princess Auto

I went in twice this week the first time I asked how to see what battery my car keys need. A women asked a gentle men to show me. He pulled out my key and popped it open showed me what kind I needed and sent me to the direction the batteries. They were sold out unfortunately so I went later the same week still sold out. Ultimately I purchased else where when I went to put in my new battery I saw that the man had actually crack my car keys!

Posted a fair and honest review of an item that is misrepresented on their website:

“False advertising: smaller than advertised
Works for my needs but is falsely advertised as being 36” wide. The ramp is only 34” wide and about 32” usable working width. This makes me doubt the weight capacity as I am 200lbs and it has a good amount of deflection. I was unable to verify this in store because they had zero on hand and I paid to ship it directly to my house. ”

First time at this PrincessAuto location. I came to check it out because I was staying at Port Stanley for vacation.

This PrincessAuto London is amazing. It was very well stocked and organized.

The lady that was standing near the entrance when I came in was super helpful, polite and friendly. Without hesitation went to look for an item that I specifically asked for.unfortunately I could read her name tag (Wednesday July 27th 2022 around 1: 30pm).

This location has lots of items that I haven't seen at other locations where I normally go (Kitchener and Mississauga).

It is totally worth to take a trip/drive to this location.

From now on, I will be checking this London location.

Great place to find pretty much anything your looking for and prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

It's a Princess Auto. It has all of the usual Princess Auto stuff. A good staff who actually know what they're doing, and will steer you away from junk.

As always, has not let me down.

Terrible. It used to be a good store at the other location but has really dropped in my eyes. The sales flyer stuff is all hidden away in corners. Prices have really gone up.

Useful place to shop but unfortunately it's employed by people with attitudes that should have cost them their jobs long ago. Management needs to step up or step out.

My first visit at Princess Auto and my last. I thought I would be a great store to find equipments for my car but the choice is very limited and the prices are not the best. I asked a question to one staff member and she was not friendly.

Do not order online!

If it states available online does not mean they have a warehouse with inventory to ship online, that means the total units in inventory in the stores. Meaning if you place an order and the number is low it could even be a return.

Took 10 days and 40 minutes on hold to find out they couldn't find any to send and they need to cancel our order.if you listen to there commercial while on hold for 40 minutes they state they will do whatever they can to make it good. Well not in this case.

Online purchase and pickup was quick and easy. Representative was friendly and quite helpful. Website has a large selection of items, is easy to navigate and make purchases.

Poor customer service, hangs up phone when they don't wanna do something, if you want to get some thing from here best know where it is when they are open. Online orders don't go threw after payment they took cant get any answers period products are ok

Ordered cabinets on sale and the last one was at this location. Got an email stating "curbside pickup is ready". I drove 1.5hrs to pick this up, only to be told a fork truck driver was not available so I could not get my order. The following week, I called prior to leaving to make sure a fork truck driver would be there. The fella on the phone was very rude saying "we cannot confirm that". I then said I really would like to know before I leave. He then riddled off the hours of the fork truck driver and hung up. I show up, sit for 45mins in the parking spot for curbside, on hold as I watch people walk right up to the door and chase down the people bringing curbside items out rather than call the number it clearly states to call on the sign. One I realized everyone had got their order before me and a new batch of cars pulling up started to get their order I followed suit and chased someone down.
We all have to be understanding during these times, which I am, but we have been in this for over a year so I was not buying the "we are still figuring this out" excuse.
Overall, terrible experience.

Surprised to see that a staff member that was out on the floor, not behind a plastic barrier, was without a mask. Every other staff member in the building was masked except one cashier but she was behind her screen. Very dissapointed that after all this time we still come to this.

On Tuesday April 27th at 1: 40 p.m. I called 3 times waited on hold and once it was my turn they hung up I could hear them lifting and closing the phone how am I supposed to order on lock down when this is the option you give me horrible staff hopefully you won't be in business much longer

Although I found this location larger than my usual, filled with a lot more products; I noticed there weren't many staff members around when I looked for assistance.
Aside from that, I enjoyed shopping here and will definitely be back!

Had an older PA 2001 air compressor and the customer service/special tool service tech line went way beyond helping me find parts at my local shop and even searched and sent me a pdf of the manual for it. The London Wellington South store found all my parts. Thank everyone

This was my very first trip into a Princess Auto and no I fully understand the hype behind it. What a cool place for a leisurely Saturday afternoon shop. So many tools that you would buy to use just once, if I had the budget I'd buy 1 of everything if I knew what it was for or how to use it or not. I went to just look but came home with a bag of toys for the workshop.

Didn't have what we wanted and a couple items were missing pieces. There was also no one to help in the store.

Good place for specific industrial tools, and heavy duty equipment, trailer parts. Zero brand names if you anticipate finding these.

Jennifer and Alyna were very kind, generous, thoughtful and helpful during my visit to the store today.
Generally they're all very good people.

Well laid out store, easy to find items, well organized shelving. Knowledgeable staff directed me right where I needed to go.

I went into the store today to pick up an online order. I was greeted at the door (Karen) and told where to go and wait for online pick ups. I had received confirmation that my order was ready for pick up. I went in and waited in line behind 1 person to pick up my order. The lady that was at the desk (Colleen) was extremely slow and not enthused to be working customer service it seemed. It took over 20 mins to process the return from the gentlemen in front of me. Once I got to the counter, she asked for the order number and so I gave it to her. She then sent someone (Allyssa) to their back area to pick up my order. It took almost 15 mins for someone to return with my order which not to mention was in a damaged box. It was a 53 lb box and I had my baby with me who was in a stroller. I wasn't offered a carry out and was already very unhappy, so I picked up the package and pushed my stroller out the door. I have worked customer service for many years and have not seen such terrible service in a very long time! There seemed to be a lot of staff doing a whole lot of nothing. I understand that things come up but waiting over half an hour for an order I had already paid for is absolutely ridiculous. I will not be shopping here for a very long time and am extremely upset with how I was treated today.

Staff goes out of their way to find what the customer wants. Prices are great, they have a cutting mat priced at 14.99 for metric and the same one is at fabric land in imperial for 54.99. Most items have prices that are the lowest in London.

Fantastic service! Called to have a flyer item set aside for me. When I arrived the item was tagged for me and waiting at customer service. In and out in 5 minutes!

It was better when you were in White Oaks Inn the city bus could take me there it was on the city bus run I have often thought about going out to Princess on it but when you have to take the bus to the end of Wellington Road and then walk over the 401 no very good experience I know are used to live out here another exactly the experience you need for this it is better if there was to princess auto‘s in the city but now they are Wellington Road in the 401 kind of a person rip not happy

Fast line ups. But the arrows on the ground for direction make no actual sense, it's hard to follow the rules.

Princess Auto itself is awesome and so are the products. My most recent trip I was looking for an item the store had in stock but the young punk working couldn't take the time to help me find it but instead tells me to go online and order it. Customer service is everything and he was lacking it. Dude was a chump.

I found the staff was not helpful i was to buy a misting fan it felt like they couldn't get rid of me fast enough

Selection is ok staff is helpful. DONOT try to call their phone number. You will spend/waste time. It goes right to recordings and no one answers. I waited for over an hour on two trys. I wonder if head office knows this is London's practice

Phenomenal selection of products, including a drivebelt a local small engine repair shop had told me was no longer available. Great pricing, easy to navigate store with good signage.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. PA always has a good selection of parts and tools at a good price. The surplus section is usually has some great finds every time I go.

Never ever order online after two weeks they will tell you they don't have the items anymore after you already received order number weird and email your cancellation

I stopped there today to return two sprayers that did not meet my expectations. Colleen and Andy from customer service station were just wonderful. They listened and quickly found me on the system and resolved the matter in a very short and pleasant time.
After leaving the customer service station I decided to stay and do some shopping. I had a question and I met Paul. A true gentleman. Very caring and knowledgeable about their products. He took the time to search for what I was looking for and I even found other items at a very good price. Thank you Paul. Princess Auto is the best store if you are looking for great products, fair prices, and most importantly a wonderful team of caring and professional customer service personnel. I definitely will go back and I suggest you pay them a visit too!

Not very helpful Staff person seemed more into getting ready to close the store half an hour prior to closing. Girls at the return desk was friendly and cheerful

Rude associates. No one in the aisles to assist. When you ask a question, they give you attitude like I'm bothering them. I also tried call to see if they had an item in stock before I make the drive out there, and everytime the call went off hold, the associate hung up. DEPLORABLE SERVICE! Shop elsewhere.

I was just at Princess Auto's new store on Wellington Rd. S.in London. It's beautiful! Bright, clean and full of helpful staff.

When ever I go to London I like to browse the store. I live much closer to the Brantford store but the service staff in London are more helpful and knowledgeable. The store is bigger and I think it carries more stock. I dealt with Tom in London last time. A really helpful guy. I think I'll just go to London for now on.

Decent amount of random stuff - some at great prices and some not. Lots of cheap throwaway stuff too. Overall, prices seem to be on the rise. Handful of staff are happy and willing to help but get the wrong one and I guarantee you will remember it. Also, have stopped in here (and the past location) well over a hundred times and, although anecdotal, from time to time it seems like they think you are stealing so they randomly stand in aisles next to you. And hey, I’m not sure how bad theft is at that store so you gotta do what you gotta do but I’d half expect you to remember the face of a customer spanning more than 5 years with thousands spent lol. 2 stars max on a good day.
