Got my breaks done and afterwards ABS and Slippery warning lights came on. Owner/Mechanic said warning lights have nothing to do with brake change. Got another opinion from another mechanic with over 30 yrs experience. Took it back to get it diagnosed offered by mechanic. He took pictures and found that there was damage to the wire of the sensor. Refused to repair damage he did and expected that I would pay for it. I refused to pay for their mistake. To fix it he taped the damaged wire to the hose. DO NOT COME HERE FOR BRAKES!

Five years ago I discovered this little gem "Pro Active Auto". I have had various repairs done on my cars. I am always pleased with Zia service and advise. What needs to be done now or later. Good service at a fair price.

Last week was my first time taking my vehicle to Proactive Auto Care and I was very impressed. Zia and his technicians were very professional and made me feel very comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. Throughout the process of the repairs Zia kept me in the loop by sending me images of the parts being replaced and what it would cost. When the repairs were complete, Zia took the time to walk me through what work he had done. I will definitely take my vehicle back to Proactive Auto in the future.

My new go to place for my car. They are completely honest and even reccommend you get a 2nd quote if you like. They do amazing work, always give a good price and handle your car with the utmost care. I have been going here for 1 year now and i havent looked back. My last mechanic was over charging me and i had no idea and he would get some unexpirenced workers to do that job. Complete professionals here. Highly reccommend them. I have used them for brakes, tune ups, oil/filter changes, and sent someone over for a transmission repair as well. They also do tires. Great place.

Zia is one of the best and affordable mechanic close to my neighborhood. Last night he did my oilchange and oh, when I tell you that little Mazda baby starting to drive smoothly, I am not kidding the car stop making that weird sound in it. He never disappoint us getting the job done. I was in desperate need of an oil change and I made the right decision by going to Proactive Auto Care. Zia was an excellent mechanic! He was extremely professional and explained everything I needed. Usually most auto shops scam you when you are a girl but Zia is a very honest and humble person. You could tell he is very passionate about his work. The shop was very clean and well kept too. Overall I must say I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely continue to give him my business!

If you think an honest mechanic doesn’t exist then definitely consider doing business here! I always go to Zia for my car repairs and maint, and he always helps me out even when I ask him on short notice. Technical diagnostics are always done and Zia takes the time explain to the customers the issue, how this effects the car’s performance and what needs to be done to ensure your car is back to working flawlessly. Pricing for parts is NEVER overpriced and are always consumer friendly. Zia always goes above and beyond for his customers.

Hmm where do i begin. I noticed a lot of really good reviews from this company so i decided to check them out and get my tires swapped with ones that had rims at this facility. When getting them done, i paid about $60+tax which is totally normal. But then came an issue in which Zia had presented to me in regard to one of the wheel tie rods being loose. He had tightened it in the mean time and told me not to drive on the highway as this could be a serious danger to myself as well as the car.

I have always taken my car to the mechanic to get any issues i needed to sorted out ASAP.i had recently (about two months ago) put on my winter tires and had taken it to get fully checked out by a good friend of mine at another mechanic place in which he had fully checked to make sure there was nothing wrong with the car. Now maybe the tie rod for the wheel could have been potentially overlooked and could’ve been a mistake by my regular mechanic.but in finding out what the cost of the repair was i had originally been quoted $160 but then when texting back and forth to confirm the full cost of the entire repair including any expenses it would be $180. Now if we do $160+tax that would give us $180.80. For some odd reason i ended up paying a total of $203 for the full repair. This meaning that i was charged $180 for the initial service and then tax on top of that. But maybe there was a communication error in terms of asking for the full cost of the repair so i take full responsibility for not communicating. But what i had noticed is that when i took my car to my actual mechanic who i normally always see and In getting a second quote from the normal mechanic i was told the repair would be around $150…. Super large difference!

Now during the initial repair i was told several things also needed to be replaced, rear brakes as well as me asking him to take a look at a specific sound i was hearing in my car. It ended up being an exhaust leak in which only 2 bolts would need to be replaced and for the pipe to be sealed. I was quoted $265 in order to have it replaced… (knowing how quotes work at this shop the total cost would essentially be around $299.45). After declining him to fix this as i stated i didint have enough funds to have this done right away. I then went to my regular mechanic and i was told the repairs would be $100 including labour costs as well as parts.

All in all, the moral of my story is please shop around and get multiple quotes before settling on a mechanic. Also please do your research and try to see if you can find parts yourself for cheaper online that way you can hand the mechanic the parts and they will only charge you for labour. Sadly i cannot recommend this place as my experience has been super upsetting learning the news that i was being overcharged for fairly simple repairs.

Went after reading reviews from others and found the guy to be extremely honest and polite, won’t suggest you to get something changed that you don’t need and would give you advice so you can do most of the things by yourself at home.

It was a great experience getting my car oil change done at Proactive auto care. They provide good quality professional service in very cheap price.
