Service is terrible and they're always behind schedule. I made an appointment at 11, and I waited for more than an hour. Another time I waited almost 2 hours. Youre better off finding yourself a better clinic
Apparently “booking” is useless and it will only be your turn once everyone else who was in the clinic is helped eventhough you went hours ago and was told to come back in 2 to 3 hours.
Pro-tip: PLEASE next time don’t call it “booking” if I come on time and then make me wait until everyone is done.:)
Dr. Loka is my family physician. It’s been more than 2 years and I’ve moved to another place but didn’t changed my family physician. Nowadays waiting is bit longer bcz Dr. Loka is so good and she’s so knowledgeable.
One of the worst service and very unprofessional staff and doctor medhat Ramzy she really doesn’t care just keeps you waiting for long in the room and dosent come to see. I just went to check my blood pressure and see took more than 2 hours. She just tells you seat in the room and she does not show up. Such an unprofessional doctor with no care for others time where she just seats in her office and answers call
There website says open till 5 pm on Saturdays and after waiting for 10 min at reception at 1: 20 pm, the receptions says we close at 1 pm. Come on Monday
This is the worst clinc any one can ever attend the staff yells at you they lose papper work they never answer their phones and if your black or muslim dont go to this clinic for they are racist and prejudice towers you openly
Went first time here as a walk in patient, waited for 10-15 min which was acceptable to me. Dr. Loka diagnosed the child's concern and prescribed meds which were effective. The pharmacy didn't have 1 of the 2 meds, but they told to come back after 4, and it was ready for pick up. Never had a such a smooth experience with a walk in clinic in Scarborough before. Thank you procare team and Dr. Loka.
Honestly Not the Worst Service i do feel i was rushed during my appointment which i did not appreciate but in all honesty i didn't care to make a rude point as i know our healthcare under Doug Ford hasn't been the greatest so i like to give the benefit of the doubt and there was a baby ahead of me so whatever and my injury wasn't severe but minor and already in the final stages of healing just wanted to ensure everything was okay.
Booked an appointment online. When I arrived the receptionist did not let me know that the doctor was an hour behind schedule. Sat in the waiting room for 30 mins until I asked and then decided to leave as I had to work. The doctors here are ok but the admin team is terrible.
Was there today as a walk-in bcz my mom was not feeling well.the front desk was ok but after the doctor assistant came in name Nahid and did the checkup and said my mom has infection in her throat thats y she is coughing and has body pain and neck pain and gave prescription for antibiotics and the actual doctor didn’t saw her at all the prescription was under doctors name but the assistant did everything which was strange to me.we went to another clinic and the doctor prescribed tylanol for pain and said not to take antibiotics. I will never recommend this clinic as they don’t know what they’re doing and they can cause big issues with giving wrong information.
Very bad service and unprofessional attitude. I called around 2: 25 to book walk in for emergency, the person answered the call said I need to be there in person for lineup because I am new patient. When I left my work to be there around 2: 45, front desk people said their clinic is closed and doctor will leave by 3: 30. I said the web said you closed by 6pm and when I called 20 mins ago nobody told me that you are going to end of the day. They said their walk in only open from 9-2pm, even there is no notice to public.
There is no sorry for entire conversation, and the lady who work at front desk even asked me if I really called their phone…… until I showed my phone history with their phone number clearly showing there, and she said they will close and the doctor cannot accept patients anymore. That was 2: 45pm on Tuesday.
Very unsatisfied experience, wasted time.now I am sitting at another clinic close by. Much better service.
I had the pleasure of doing some work for this clinic and pharmacy. I was in there for a couple of days. I witnessed the helpful and cheerful staff at work. I would not hesitate to come here for for services.the neighborhood.
Many thanks to "Dr. Manal Loka" for her help and patience She is so professional And the lady pharmacist "Rosette Habib" is so friendly and helpful Many thanks also to the ladies in the reception they are so helpful
I am very disappointed. I've been calling continuously since last Friday AM. No one answers the phone. When the phone is answered it's when the office is closing and no one is able to support me. I was supposed to have a phone appointment today with my family doctor and she did not end up giving me a call. Mind you, she also said she'd text me my results a week ago.didnt end up happening. I've been calling to get my chest xray results. It's unfortunate to see how unorganized this office is.
My family and I have been patients of Dr. Manal for years. We've been coming to Procare for as long as I can remember. The doctors and staff here are very friendly and helpful. I've never had a negative experience here.
Whenever you call dr manal loka she is busy, she said not to take calls, she is with patient, she cant talk for 30 seconds even. The receptionist wont even try to give her a msg if its urgent.not for every matter you have to go to the Emergency and also not always patients are in a state to walk in to her clinic. So should be more professional towards her job and atleast attend to urgent phone calls.really disappointed i always see them roaming around the hospital as if its a living room and cant take calls for 1 min absurd
I was in this clinic, but the receptionist asked me to pay for the service because my health card had expired. And when asked if they would reimburse me once I got my health card, she said no. Then I check the website, and it says there: Q. What if I forget to bring my health card when I go for health care? You may be charged for a health service if you do not have a health card. The ministry requests that the provider reimburse you for the service if it was an OHIP insured service and you can later show that you were covered by OHIP at the time of the service. Technically, I did not forget my health card; it expired, but I renewed it and did not receive it. Is the idea between forget and expired different in terms of reimbursement? And the two receptionists are not helpful at all. The only thing they have in mind is “no health card you pay”; they will not help you with any solution. This kind of service is not helpful to the community as well.
**************** Thank you for your reply and clarification. I had my answer through the Ontario website, but it will be beneficial to inform your receptionist about this. They knew I renewed my card but had not received the physical card. At this point, they could have offered me a better solution rather than asking me to pay without reimbursement.
We been coming here for along time and Dr. Ramzy and Dr. Jamie have been amazing but the only issue is having the long wait time other than that they been good.
Front desk staff for the clinic is embarrassingly unprofessional, and incompetent. No manners, or customer service. Its a shame because Dr Loka is wonderful and caring, but not worth the whole experience.
I went the walking clinic at 11: 40am. She told me it will take one and a half hours so I gave my number to call 15 minutes before.she called at 1: 50 pm When I went there it’s been one hour and I couldn’t get to see the doctor I was waiting in the room the funny thing is the office closed at 3o’clock. I get to see the doctor at 315pm.
Had a great experience! I went here right when they opened and the doctor was able to see me immediately. She was kind and helpful. There's a pharmacy in the front for your medication needs. All in all I was in and out of here in 20 mins.
I moved to the area about a year ago, and they have been my go-to clinic since then. Dr. Ramzy and his physician assistant, Yu Wang, are INCREDIBLE. When I needed medical attention during the shutdown, Yu Wang (only at the clinic on Saturday, at this time) treated me at the walk in clinic, and even booked a follow up call with me to see if I needed further help. I rarely met doctors who take that initiative, and that means a lot to me. Trust me, I am a physiotherapist myself, and I do follow up calls with my patients all the time, so it feels amazing to receive the same amount of care.
The reason for all the seemingly bad reviews may be due to their long wait times, but they are doing their best. During the shutdown, there was barely any wait time. I recommend you call the office in advance, so you know how long it takes. The office has plexi glass and sanitizer everywhere, so you can feel safe inside. Rowena, the secretary, is very kind and helps me pass my messages to the doctor, who returns my call within the SAME DAY!
The medical team works directly with the pharmacy staff inside the same clinic. My doctor's prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy electronically, and I have my medication within minutes. They also do free deliveries by the next day. Just today, I needed a prescription refill, so the pharmacy staff Rahim, told Dr. Ramzy to call me for a follow-up, which he did within an hour or so. Then, he sent the prescription to Rahim for it to be filled, and it will be delivered the next day.
I truly appreciate their help, as it saved me precious off-work time, that I can spend relaxing, after treating 40+ hours of physiotherapy patients each week, during the pandemic.
Truly, I feel like I have found my medical team home at this clinic. I hope you will give it a chance despite the reviews, since these may just be one side of the story! Thank you to the amazing team at Pro Care Clinic and Pharmacy!
It’s racist, they are open till 7pm and told me “we are closed” when it’s only 3: 30pm, their open sign still on and I just saw someone walked in and waiting. It sucks never go here.
I waited for 2 hrs to see the doctor. From when I sat to wait to when I was seen by the doctor. If you're actually really sick, go to the hospital instead.
