I had a bad experience with this company. I know there’s a lot of good reviews here but I thought people should know that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies and there’s bad experience as well.

First of all, I don’t think their pricing is very transparent. My invoice was $100 over what I was quoted and when I asked about it the person on the phone got agitated and told me that I must’ve misunderstood it.

Secondly, and more importantly, one of the movers showed up looking like he was nursing a hangover from the night before. He kept asking to go to the bathroom and disappeared for periods of time. I think as the customer I actually worked harder than he did helping them move furniture. Overall, I was not happy with their service and I would never hire them again. But I do recognize there’s also a lot of good reviews here so proceed with caution.

What an amazing company. Had a massive move. They made it seem super easy. Well done. Would definitely recommend!

CARELESS AND RECKLESS Or INEXPERIENCE And IRRESPONSIBLE
Would be best description if anyone hire this company. Beware.

On about early February I spoke with three different movers one which was On Friday, February 10,2023 Pronto Movers / pronto moving I spoke with Mr. Farhat who appeared to be reasonable. He said many things and sold empty promises to move my items without damages. I decided to hire Mr. Farhat because said I can have this arranged for $2200+ tax. I did not negotiate with him, I recognized the movers hard work.

On February 16,2023 price was agreed in writing for moving to first storage then March 23,2023 to second move to home. The morning when he arrived at my door his price went up by $100 verbally. Fist tell-tell sign about Mr. Farhat.

I dont know, is it lack of experience or responsibilities or he doesnt have knowledge of moving appliances, furniture. I had specifically told him I have high-end (brand new appliances), make sure nothing is damaged. He basically stuff everything in the truck putting things on top other things. Some fragile and valuable porcelains was put on the side, I told him take this at the end do not put anything on these boxes. He could NOT follow on simple importance of my things did communicate with his men. I had to tell each one them myself. Pieces of furniture with scratched. So if you are type of a person like me, who value his belongings I suggest you DO NOT consider hiring ProntoMovers/ProntoMoving.

Unloading his truck of course at the end he damaged my appliances and (Mr. Ferhat) was open to said he will do something about it I said thank you just have it fixed. The damages were caused by himself, he stacked a big heavy BBQ machine on top of my appliances which got dented. He did not get back when my stuff was in storage for 30 days.

On March 23,2023 second location moving day, When it is delivered at my home we talked about the damages, he made some offers, I could not agree but days are passing, he started to go on offensive and disagree on things. I repeatedly asked him to fix it. I dont want money or compensation or anything else. YOU DAMAGED IT, JUST FIX IT. They are careless and took no responsibility and are giving me the run around, the company is making it difficult. I care about my things specially valuables and my brand new belongings.

Beware

-he charge customer for his insurance deductible

-he is not clear about (who is responsible) damages under $200

-he will scratches, scuff, drag furnitures cause small repair cost

-his Price and Quote will changes base the customers lifestyle, so his written quote is fake/false

-he does not care how long will he take, he will give you the runaround

We hired a team and it was quite last minute as we had a change in our move dates. Mike provided excellent customer service and ensured we had everything we needed prior to arrival, provided a quote and always got back to me very quickly. Day of move, the movers were fast and everything was handled carefully. It was a quick painless operation- would highly recommend.

Pronto Movers. What can I say, they were fantastic. Starting with setting things up with Mike. With all the trepidation that goes into a long distance move, Yusuf and Samir were fast, courteous, respectful,   friendly and professional. They arrived before the slotted time and started right away. They made the loading and un-loading smooth and to top it all off two of the nicest people I have met in a while. I would not hesitate to recommend Pronto Movers to anyone including myself in the future. Keep up the good work boys.

Pronto Movers were fantastic! The movers at pronto are very kind movers who took the time to make sure the move went extremely well. They picked up furniture from two locations and brought them to my new condo. They even moved all my stuff into my condo from the street as no parking of their vehicle was allowed. Unbelievable group, and very fair price. I will 100 percent be using them in the future.

I must have called every mover in the ottawa region, all of them, I have a 750lb+ custom smoker that I needed moved and no one could do it. It was too heavy for normal movers, and would have cost 2000$ or more for heavy movers.

I called Pronto and within thirty seconds had an incredibly fair price to move it the next day at 730am, buddy on the phone laughed and said "no problem! "

I was skeptical after all my calls, couldnt sleep all night, this smoker is my baby and I would die if something happened to it. Sure enough 730 sharp and the truck backs in and three lads hop out. No no lads isnt right, these three unsuspecting looking titans of moving descended from the truck to our earthly plane below. Within 15m it was on the truck, strapped in safely and not a scratch on it. If I hadnt witnessed it with my own eyes I would have thought they used a forklift, seriously it was crazy to watch these guys work.

We got to the destination and they managed to get the truck into the narrowest alleyway like it was a joke, maybe a few inches on each side, unloaded and off they went. All said and done it was like 45m maybe? And for a great price too.

If you need some real deal movers, 100% cannot recommend these guys enough - they were the only ones who could do it and they knocked it out of the park. I dont know what theyre getting paid but these guys deserve a raise. Incredible, absolutely incredible.

Amazing service! Mo and Ali were great company, willing to come early, moved everything quickly and efficiently and kept up a great conversation the whole time. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Pronto Movers and Storage was recommended to me by two different people for my move last month. And, I would definitely recommend them to others. Mo and his gang of 3 young men arrived on time and got right into it. They had my house packed and ready to go in 45 minutes. And nobody showed any annoyance when I discovered that I had left the apartment key at my house and had to make a quick return trip. Nothing was broken, nothing was lost and they all wore masks despite the heavy work they were doing. They took pride in their work and their strength.

Excellent service. All of the guys were very nice and courteous, and were very careful with our stuff. They are super easy to book and very flexible. We have found the best mover in Ottawa. Will definitely use them again when we need. Thank you so much guys!

Our move was fairly large (3 bedroom apartment to townhome), and these guys did a fantastic job! Three movers arrived on time, worked efficiently and accommodated all the requests we had. They also had a great attitude throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again if I move in the future.

I have used them twice to move a 1 bedroom apartment. They have fair prices, and are easy to book. The service is great; they're fast and very friendly. Make sure you pack well and label anything with special moving instructions but that applies with all movers. There were a few precarious stacking methods but overall I would recommend!

Amazing Movers. Seriously, they should rebrand.

These guys showed up 10 minutes early, truck and all, and we're done ahead of schedule.

They managed to move my entire family in under 8 hours, probably would've taken us atleast 2 weeks.

What's more impressive, they did it without damaging anything; that includes our furniture and our house.

I've never had such a good experience with a moving company, these guys have my business for life.

Ps. They were also really cool dudes, they worked hard, but were super friendly and accommodated our every need. Wish we found them earlier.

We had a team of 4 movers (Mohammed, Ritchie, Qarrar and Mo) come for our move. They were very professional and packed up the whole house into the truck very efficiently. At our destination they placed each box in the room that we asked, and assembled our furniture without any hassle. The whole move was completed in 4 hours (3 bed room townhouse to 3 bed room townhouse)

Mo, John and his cousin came to help us move on October 31 and they were simply amazing! So professional, quick and funny! We had the most pleasant and fun moving experience and would highly recommend!

The 3 movers we had today were nothing but courteous, and happy to be of help for us. They did everything asked, and more.
Hopefully we won't have to move again anytime soon, but we would not hesitate to contact Pronto if we do.

We bought a new treadmill from Costco and had trouble getting down to the basement. I called Pronto movers Sunday 2pm and then had 2 movers Joe and Tarryn come the same day at 6pm. They were prompt and professional, and moved the treadmill quickly and safely.

We had a large & heavy hutch and chairs moved today. Mo & Ali were super friendly and professional. We added the chairs at the last minute and the hutch ended up having to be unexpectedly disassembled and screwed back together again and the guys were flexible with the changes and efficient. Very happy with this service!
Mike was easy to arrange things with on the phone as well and ended up having an earlier option in the day which worked out even better for us!

I was impressed by Yussef & Karrar. They worked quickly and carefully while they moved my house last Saturday. I would absolutely use this company again.

Justin, Robin and Mo where very proffesional. Took good care of my things and have great people skills. Joking and smiles the whole time eventho it was 30 degrees outside! Would recommend to anyone.

My friend referred me to pronto movers and everything went as it should. Even the little bits and peices that usually might go missing were carefully stored. I am totally happy that he did. I would use them again on my next move.

Excellent reliable service to move from Ottawa to Pembroke, Ontario. Mike and his team were very professional, making the move easier than I anticipated. The friendly team appeared on time and completed the loading and unloading with no damage to either home or contents. Competitive pricing was a bonus.

CAUTION, CAUTION IF YOU WANT TO HIRE THESE GUYS! UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO HUMAN TOUCH AT ALL! He only reason I am giving this company a star is because their employee 'Luis" is a decent human being! I contracted these guys to work an a local move for me. Many things went really bad;
1. A move that was planned for 4pm but I received a call at 9: 17 am to inform that the movers will be at my place at 10: 00 am without any prior information,

2. The guys handling my stuff lost parts of my beds. If I had not followed their work assembling them; there is a possibility these guys would have left without telling me something was wrong. I almost lost it when their team leader acknowledged they had misplaced them. When I managed to talk to their boss; Mike; he told me that I should sleep on the floor! No excuse or remorse whatsoever! As a matter of fact he was very unconcerned! Later on, I found some of the missing pieces on the curb of my former place! I was with the team leader, he couldn't explain how they were left there.

When the CEO realized he had to address this, he admitted he has sent a very "unusual" team; " from a mental institution to do my removal"! How is that my problem when I paid him in full? And in cash (yeah I know)
To cut this short, my two beds are not usable and Mike the said CEO said to me "I am sorry, I can't help you. " He doesn't answer my calls nor does he reply to my messages. If any one knows these guys are insured, I need to know who is their insurance company.
