Proof Bar & Patio

I had dinner and a drink with a group of 11 female friends. The couches are comfy and the otttomans were perfect to move around to be in a circle. Most of the group had the burger and enjoyed it. I had the 3 cheese charcuterie board. It was great and enough to take some home.

Celebrated my anniversary here and had Thomas as our server. He was wonderful and treated us very kindly. I was surprised that there was only actually 1 jumbo shrimp but it was yummy along with the risotto it was served with. The steak was cooked a bit over my asking, but not too much. The louvre was a unique and tasty dessert as well. I would come here again.:)

The waiter (Jonathan) was terrible! Did so little but expected a tip and had the audacity to say wow to our faces when we didn't! Never checked up on us and the drinks and fries we ordered took over twenty minutes each to arrive. The female server did more for us than him just by telling me where the washroom was! The service was slow and inattentive despite it being nearly empty on a Friday night. We gave up waiting for our bill and got up to pay at the register. Only qualities I liked were the atmosphere and the expresso martini that was overpriced.

Definitely not going back!

A wonderful surprise patio, could have missed it. Location is prime and yet discreet. Thomas was an amazing host. Highly recommended. Pop in for a drink and a meal!

The environment is comfortable, the food is delicious, and the street view outside is beautiful.

They have Cows Creamery cheese from PEI! We just sat on the back patio and ordered the charcuterie platter. Service was quite slow considering how dead the place was, but the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. A little pricey for the amount of food you get on the platter, I would have expected a bit more cheese and a bit fresher berries, but it was still a delicious ~small~ bite. They put the meat on a separate plate for my boyfriend since I am vegetarian.

We hit Proof Bar before a big event, and they were absolutely fantastic. Bartender was super attentive, drinks were delicious, space was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time.

Would definitely go back to try more.

Food was decent.had a pizza which was cooked well and had standard flavours. Service was quick and efficient hence the 4 star rating.

They were really friendly in accommodating a large no of us (10), highly recommend the place.

Very relaxed place to sit, either inside or out. Good wine list, good draft beers. Staff excellent.

It was OK but we thought we booked the igloos but not worth the prices to sit inside when you could just go somewhere else, tbf we didn't get food. People would walk in with out reservations and they acted like they had no room when at least half if not 3/4 was empty which I thought was weird so we just finished our drink and left so the 2 other gentlemen waiting would maybe get our spot. Their interaction with the waitress was super awkward for an empty bar with a dining area. 2 drinks were almost $50 after tip and one was a bottle of beer. To sit outside we were prepared to spend 300 or more for the experience, website complicated things.

Tried the dome dining. Really good experience and food. We heard someone yellowing obscenities in the alleyway close by. The spring rolls are pretty bland. And it was a little chilly even with the little space heaters, kept the jacket on. Mains were good the tart for dessert was very good as well.

All in all loved I really liked the little dome and how you got to be all alone in there with thr music and the couched, very special.

Domes experience was awesome. We spent our 11th year marriage anniversary and it was awesome

Great little chill pub. Had a couple beers after a long day of walking about and taking in the sites.

It's a nice quiet pub, that'll let you chill the F out.

Exceptional Service! It was a snowy night and our immaculate server Thomas was so courteous and helpful! His pure sense of respect and kindness was deeply appreciated by both me and my wifey. We really enjoyed our experience here together celebrating her 22nd birthday in an Outdoor Igloo! If you need a place to come to just lay back, relax and enjoy a 10/10 meal this is your place! Thank you Thomas and Proof Bar, we definitely had that IGLOOsive service and experience! God bless

I brought my wife here for her birthday and we had an amazing time. Thomas took care of us from start to finish and was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic and well executed. The dome/igloo was warm and cozy but not claustrophobic.

We got the package with a couple of appetizers and drinks and then ordered some food from the menu. Everything was delicious and presented nicely. We were also pleasantly surprised with the birthday dessert.

We had a great time here and recommend it to anyone.
