Disgusting company. They threaten to put a lien against your property for not paying your bill for like 1 month. They also lie about heating charges when your heat has been off.

Opened my account September 1st and provided my bank account information for pre-authorized payments. Three weeks in, I start getting automated calls requesting for a call back due to billing issues. I called their office three times between end of September and beginning of November and each time, they told me every thing’s fine and the payments would be withdrawn soon. Today is Nov 21 and they have still not taken a single payment out of my account and the automated calls wouldn’t stop. As someone else pointed out, the customer service representatives are either not properly trained or they just don’t care. This company needs to get their billing issues sorted. I will be calling their office tomorrow for the fourth time in 2 months and I’m sure nothing will change.

Open an account is very easy and happy, But it's horrible when you deal with the wrong bills. The builder confirmed the new occupancy date, but they refused to adjust the bill.they Said it's final bill - so it's final.they ask builder to credit back to owner. BUT How can we seperate the bill without any reading information? ! It's ridiculous!
Provident should give adjusted bills for builder and us. It's simple!

Customer service reps are not aligned with the information they provide. Provident has been providing me with different information every time i call in to deal with a billing problem. It seems their reps are not trained properly. Still dealing with a billing issue after 2 months and after more than 3 reps told me they had solved it and it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck to anyone that has their energy bill with Provident.
