Very professional. My last colonoscopy was quite uncomfortable during the procedure. With Provis, I awoke after the procedure which was perfect. Everything was well explained and people were great.

The staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable while waiting for the procedure to begin. You don't have to pay for parking which is always a plus. The whole appointment took about an hour and a half, which is exactly what they had told me. The whole process went exactly how they outlined it on their website. Being an anxious person, I appreciated that.

Unfortunately my appointment was on a very snowy and cold day, and the reception facilities, I felt, are too small to receive the numerous patients that were there at that time. It was a little chaotic with too many snow boots in a pile at the door and a wet floor in the crowded waiting area. It didn't make me feel at all calm for the procedure that followed.

The team at Provis was excellent. From the reception desk staff, to the nurses, to the doctors, all were friendly and professional. Yes, the office was busy, but the entire process was extremely efficient.

I was unprepared for the physical experience of this clinic as my previous colonoscopy's was much different [walk directly into the theatre, have the procedure, wake up and leave]. This was just like a hospital operation theatre visit. The whole process was very well done except for the very long wait [1 hour] between preparation and procedure [I had a good book to read]. The staff are very, very professional and personable. I recommend Provis to anyone.

The staff here are well organized, friendly and meticulous in their work. Everything went like clock work. The Gastroenterologist even sat down and had a chat with me before the procedure. 5 stars.

I had horrible experience, my whole process I awake, and after the procedure i was feeling pain on my throat and pain for swallowing my spittle. So after everything I waited more 40 minutes to see the doctor to give the results. So i will never go again with Doctor Mousse.

I arrived the clinic 8: 45, my appointment it was 9: 00. So I left the clinic 12: 00

And also I would like to say, Dr. Moussa even didn’t explain me well, what’s i have, he explain like it’s nothing you don’t need worry. Omg when i check my exams i saw Hiatus Hernia. So until now I don’t know what will be my next steps. So he just wrote one medication on back sheet of my exam. And of course I can’t even read what’s he wrote.

This was my second colonoscopy without sedation and the doctor was far better than the previous experience at another clinic PLUS I got to see the entire journey through the bowels of my underworld, so to speak. Similarly, the nurse and anaesthesiologist, who was there in case I changed my mind about the sedation, were equally professional and were it not so bleeding uncomfortable, I would say it was a pleasant experience. Kudos to the doctor who said he'd been doing this for 47 years.

I was terrified to get this test done as I had a previous traumatic experience with said test. I worried for no reason. I didn’t feel a thing and the staff were professional and very caring. Highly recommend this clinic.

The nurses and staff were very upbeat and friendly. They answered all questions and listened to any concerns you had. The entry/waiting room leaves a bit to be desired BUT the waiting beds and procedure room were very good.

Overall experience was very good, however did not like waiting 2 hours because there was only one doctor on staff.

Had a gastroscopy done. Was a bit nervous initially. Doctor and staff all very professional and personable. Quick and painless

My treatment was very good. I was brought in quickly and had the procedure explained and an IV inserted. The Doctor was very quick to ensure me what was going to happen and what he would be doing. The only thing I would suggest would be a followup call to see how the recovery was going, most importantly for clients who had to have anastetic.

Nurses and admin were very professional. Can't say the same about the Doctor. I felt like he thought I was the one that requested the colonoscopy and gastroscopy, and because Id had a colonoscopy last year he decided not to do it. As he put it. Why are you getting it? I assumed it was because I had pain in my lower abdomen and was constantly nauseous. He said you had one last year and this procedure is dangerous. I could kill you (who says that right before a procedure?). I said all I knew was my doctor had requested it. Maybe its because I have issues with polyps (had 22+ removed) or that I had colitis. His response was to smirk and say that colitis was just diarrhea. Really? Because ive had bouts that have lasted over a month where I couldnt go out or even finish a meal without running to the bathroom with cramps. A little more than just diarrhea. Then he said he didnt care if he did it or not cause he was there till 4pm either way. Then said he was the doctor so he said he wasnt going to do the colonoscopy. Then he wanted to know why I wanted deeper sedative for my procedure. I had just wanted to discuss because I didnt want to wake up during the gastroscopy because Id had a bad experience in the past (no sedative and was held down physically when the scope went in. Freaked me out). He said why were you nervouse you were sedated and when I said no I wasnt, my eyes started to water. He said, you're not going to start crying now are you? Then my results came back saying normal. This is bizarre because I've had three separate procedures that indicated a hiatus hernia. Those dont go away on their own. The whole experience with this Dr was pretty upsetting. Sad because my brother went a few weeks prior and had a good experience. But it wasnt the same Dr. So while my experience wasnt good, my brothers was.

I lost my father to colon cancer when he was 50 and I was 20, Several years ago, I also lost an amazing colleague to colon cancer, and he was in his 50. So, I know the importance of colonoscopies for screening for polyps and cancer. I would highly recommend the Provis Rudd Endoscopy Clinic in Ottawa, and more specifically Dr. Sekar and his professional staff, including the anesthesiologist and health care staff. I had a colonoscopy (my third one) on April 7 and my experience was excellent. All staff at the clinic were extremely kind, caring and professional. I was truly impressed. They really make you feel at ease and spent considerable time on my health history during the doctor’s pre-op virtual visit and the discussions with the nurse and anaesthesiologist while at the clinic. My appointment started right on time, and I was in and out in less than two hours. With the sedation, the procedure was pain and anxiety free. I advise everyone to follow health advise for colon cancer screening, which includes a colonoscopy if you have any colon cancer symptoms or a family history of the disease. My procedure was covered by OHIP. Only cost to me was the prep powder. Fortunately, with the Provis Rudd Endoscopy Clinic, those in the Ottawa region have an excellent health care facility to rely on. You are providing a very important service Provis Rudd clinic, Dr. Sekar and all your great staff. Thank you so very much!

I was referred to this clinic for endoscopy services by my family doctor. The staff at this clinic were professional, attentive, and very thorough. Having never been to a clinic such as this before I was a little hesitant, but everyone including the receptionist, nurses, Dr. Mona, and the anesthesiologist really made the experience more comfortable. They were able to answer any questions I had and the quality of care I received was great. Thanks Dr. Mona and the rest of the team at Provis!

They must not have a receptionist, because nobody EVER answers the phone. Doesn't matter what time or day you call, even waiting on hold for over 30 minutes multiple times. Frustrating.

UPDATE: finally got a call back and went through with my appointment. Doctors and staff were very friendly and procedure went smoothly. Just wish they answered their phone more frequently.

My doctor has forgotten to call me for 3 different follow up appointments and each time I call the clinic, they either return my call weeks later or not at all. When the future of your health is in their hands and they are as neglectful as they are, I do not recommend getting referrals here. I am now going to have to start the process all over again and get referred to another clinic. Such a headache when I have health issues to deal with.

AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT CANT GET AHOLD OF THIS CLINIC? THE PHONE PLAYS MUSIC FOR LIKE 10 MINS AND THEN CUTS OFF, OR JUST SAYS THE PERSON AT SO AND SO EXTENTION IS UNAVAILABLE! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF THIS PLACE REGARDING MY APPOINTMENT FOR WEEKS NOW OH MY GOD! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! DONT BELIEVE ME, JUST CALL THEM AND YOULL SEE. Worst experience I have ever had in Canada. The nurses are kind. The doctor seemed knowledgeable. The front desk and service was terrible.very rude receptionist over the phone who yield at me for the mistake they made with booking. I got confirmation email and a preparation sheet and I was scheduled for 6.45 pm. I was told to be fast for 8 hours.when I called to ask a question the day of my appointment a very rude and inconsiderate receptionist told me I do not have any appointment and I was not booked at all.when I told her about the confirmation email that I received she said maybe there was a glitch in the system and asked me to come for 9.30 pm. Even she said you should fast for 12 hours and 9.30 works better while all the documents I received mention 8 hours fasting. I said I can not be fast for more hours as I have a bladder problem and I should constantly drink water.after lots of yelling at me with no sympathy she booked me for 8 pm. I arrived at 7.45 and thought the procedure will be done at 8.however they kept me in the waiting room and when I asked about the appointment they said you are scheduled for 9.30 pm.when I heard it I could not stop crying because I already had pain in my bladder and I was fast for 11 hours and I could not do it anymore.she lied to me about 8 and scheduled me for 9.30 while my appointment was at 6.45 and I stopped eating at 10. I do not know the name of the receptionist but however you are, you should know you are the most cruel person I have ever talk to in the whole medical system in Canada. I will talk to my family doctor not referring any patent to this clinic.

Friendly receptionist, great nurse & anaesthetist and wonderful MD all helped make an otherwise slightly anxious client/patient feel comfortable. Chose the mild sedation and felt no pain at all during the procedure, waking up feeling like i had a nice nap to boot. Great all round. I've lost a friend to colon cancer.she was barely 50! Get checked! Have it done!

First colonoscpy and was very nervous. Was surprised to see how much the treatment area resembled a hospital ward. Very clean and comfortable.

Nurses were great and IV was done with minimal pain (I'd rather fight a bear than get a needle) and quickly.

Dr. Bigelow performed that procedure and was very friendly and efficient.

I won't be fearing my next bum scope.

Colonoscopy - The procedure, from admittance to release, took 1 hour. The staff was friendly yet very professional. The doctor answered all my questions while the procedure was ongoing, which was reassuring and helped with the mild discomfort.

Overall a fantastic experience. 10/10

I had a gastroscopy done today at Provis in Ottawa. I was super impressed I could book this appointment within a week with a referral. The staff were professional and the process was well executed. I fell asleep just before my procedure and woke up shortly after without any adverse affects. They discussed the results with me before I left and gave me a copy of the report. Only complaints are that I wasn’t able to discuss the results in a lot of detail with the GI doctor and that it took the nurses a few tries to get a vein for the IV.

Believe it. I am not an employee of the Clinic. Talk about SERVICE.
My wife, Edith, required both Endo and Colonoscopy. Found Provis on- line. Made call and we were in the next day. Had to obtain referral from local family Doctor. No problem. Arrived at Provis in Nepean at appointed time. Met Gus who is Mgr.at front desk. Very pleasant. Waited 3 minutes before meeting Nurse and Doctor Brar. My wife was escorted to surgery room after being explained, in detail, by the Nurse on the procedure. I waited in front office and noticed how clean the facility was and how courteous new patients were received. After 37 minutes, I was asked to attend and see my wife in recovery room. My wife lay on a bed (cot). I noticed how clean the sheets and the floor was. (spotless).
My wife turned towards me asking when are they doing surgery. It was already done. No pain, only a few drops of some liquid on sheet under bum. The Nurse again attended and explained what had been done followed by Dr. Brar who also attended and asked if she had any questions. I am only 74yrs young and have never attended a clinic so spotless. We again attended today for a follow -up. Waited 2 minutes from the scheduled appointment. Met again by jovial and quite professional Gus and other pleasant female. Dr. Brar explained the results in private room. Professionalism, Cleanliness. Thank you Dr. Brar and Staff. Paul Brisson

My review is actually zero stars. This place is one of the worst businesses I have ever seen in my life. I have had my appointment canceled on me 5 times now. The first time they never even called to tell me it was canceled. I'm supposed to have a procedure every month in an attempt to fix something and it will be nearly 5 months in between my first and second appointment, of three. Plus everytime they don't cancel on you it's at least a three hour wait beyond the appointment time. People come to this place with issues that need to be solved and nowhere else to go and these people treat you like you're wasting their time. These people are criminal and should owe you money when they cancel, just like they try to take money from you if you cancel within 7 days of the appointment. This company is disgusting!

It’s noon on a Tuesday and they’re closed. We have an appointment, but there’s nobody inside, no notice posted. Calling the number doesn’t mention anything about not being open. We were not informed, and we’ve wasted time off to come here. If you are referred here, have it changed however possible. All the other 1 star reviews are spot on

Update: They’re undergoing renovations, but there’s no notice online or in person. Not sure why they would schedule an appointment during this time

I had an endoscopy done at this clinic, and it was done very well.all was professional. I wasn't in pain just sometimes in discomfort. Nurses are very kind. Staff is very friendly.

I was booked for Sept 5, the got a voicemail on the 2nd saying their dr decided to cancel and I couldn't have my appointment. Seeing as I had already stopped eating nuts and had arranged a ride home I called seeing if I could have the day after. I called at 2pm on a weekday and got sent to voicemail, tried again the next day and again got sent to voicemail. Sept 4th the day before my original appointment I get a voicemail saying that there were other drs all along that could've taken my appointment so I never had to be cancelled in the first place, it was already past when I was supposed to take the meds so this wasn't an option for me. I finally get an appointment for Oct 22 and just got a call saying that once again they had to reschedule and also send me to a different clinic a half hour further away from my house. They frankly don't even deserve the 1 star that I gave them. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I have a very bad experience with them.we had to take day off from our work and they cancelled my wife's endoscopy appointment 3 times. Very very bad and terrible they are. I believe they are a black spot on Canada. This type of bad company should not operate here. I am not sure to whom should I complain against them. I don't like to give them even one star, but other than at least one star I am not able to post my comment.

I took my wife to this clinic yesterday for a colonoscopy. We had to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment at 2: 00. We got there at 1: 40 and the waiting room was packed. Several other had a 2: 00 pm appointment as well. They were not 30 min delayed, not an hour or two, they were more than THREE hours delayed. My wife and I were there for FOUR hours almost exactly to the minute. Worst patient service I have ever seen. No excuse was given, just sorry for the delay. Avoid this place at all costs. I know that I will never set foot in the place again!

My appointment was at 11: 15 a.m. And they told me to be there 30 minute before, any ways I got there as they told. I was waiting till 1 o’clock and nobody called.when I asked them about the time.they said u have to wait one more hour because we are busy.so I told them but my appointment at 11: 15 and now it’s 1 o’clock why did you schedule some people at the same time. Unfortunately it was not good answered about my question, also I was fasting for 20 hours and I supposed to be at work today but because of the appointment I took it off and I didn’t do the appointment because of their service.so I highly recommend everyone do not go there u will face hard time and waste of time
