Bought an amazing vintage dining room table set; amongst many other cool items, off Mary. She was a total delight to do business with! Check out Mema's Bounty. She has really beautiful pieces. I will definitely be going back!
Shouted at my friend infront of everyone and accused her of stealing and when asked to prove it had no proof. Then hung up on us when we tried to acquire the proof for legal reasons.
Since the vendor using the cabine near entrance was forced out of business (due to his stance against now removed travel restrictions) the market had lost half of it charm and spirit.
I would imagine that attendance is down due to covid. But it seemed kind of sad. Sellers wouldn't negotiate at all. Not as good as it used to be in years past.
One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon in the better weather. The vendors are all wonderful and always great to chat with. Whether it's the outside booths, inside the barn, or wandering or through the historic old house you can spend hours wandering around looking at unique items.
It's always full of wonderful vendors and interesting stuff. I rarely buy anything at any flea markets (I'm trying not to fill up the place) but you never know what will be there next week.
This place was way better than I had expected it to be! All the vendor staff are wonderful and friendly. I found things there that gave me nastalgic memories and feelings from my childhood, and things of all categories from crafts and furniture, to books and trinkets, tools and food. I mean.you name it! Definitely a must see!
Put of the way and most of the vendors have the same things for sale. Since it is vendor based the prices are a bit high. Big place and sometimes hard to navigate.
Generally reasonable on prices, except where things have become trendy (like wire baskets now). You can find almost anything here, and people are always friendly.
I've been there many times. It is hit and miss. Some times there are great finds and good deals. Other times I leave empty handed. If at first you don't succeed, try try again. It makes for. Fun afternoon. Such a nice spot right on Lake Ontario. Give it a try.
Wow, cant believe the sheer amount of stuff they have here. Enjoyed perusing and will be back as I'm a new local. A bit pricey. Good place to spend an afternoon.
Interesting stuff and lots of things to see, fun to go and just look but I’ve liked to buy things before but have unfortunately not brought money to buy them but again really cool place to visit
Hit or miss, I visit at least quarterly on my way to the border. Lots of tired old junk in the farm house, some furniture, better stuff along with collectables in the refurbished barn (ephemera dealer in the barn basement). Place has a closed-shop local general store atmosphere, many dealers not here to sell but simply holding onto space and resisting change; still I manage to walk away with a small something each time. Weekends are better when outside dealers set-up tables.
