Advertising states NY style pizza. It’s not. I find the cheese overpowering and the blend seems to have provolone. I could be wrong about the provolone but whatever it is, it’s too sharp and heavy. A 60/40 blend of mozzarella and oak grove brick would be better. Pepperoni had little taste and the crust was ok. I enjoyed the Philly steak sandwich with cheese sauce. It didn’t have a lot of meat, but it had tons of flavour, the bun was soft and it kept the meat in place. My wife had the chicken sandwich with poutine. Was great but the poutine lacked gravy. The mac and cheese is different but really good. Pasta was a tad overcooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful, great place to watch sports and the service is great.

Great premium beer, six bucks during happy hour. Warm inviting staff, Mia, Jen and even Ron. Lots of big screen tvs and a nice homey bar. Lots of regulars who are friendly.
Only downside to this place is the washrooms are down in the basement which makes it more difficult for people with mobility issues, or lazy people like me.
Nice place to go to for a quick beer and a snack or a full meal.

Low key bar and full of regulars. The only negative I had was the food I ate. I was expecting something better.

1st time there for lunch with work peers. Staff was friendly. Meals were extremely tasty and brought to us very quickly. Definitely will be returning. Highly recommend.

We just had our work holiday party (approx. 40 people) at Pubblico Eatery and it was fantastic! The owner Rod was terrific and made planning a breeze! He even went above and beyond and got items not on his menu just for me! How amazing is that!
The staff that was working that night (Andree, Sam, Nick, plus others) were great and took the time to get to know our names to make serving us easier.
I can't recommend this restaurant enough! Absolutely Wonderful!
For food we had the Chicago Dog, Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, deep fried ravioli and garlic parm fries. On my previous visit I had the Bronx Bomber Burger and it was also very good

Great atmospheres to have a couple beer and watch your sport of choice. Can’t wait to go back

I've loved everything I've had there so far. Chicken sandwich is a standout.

I need to share how amazing my food was! Now im not one who reviews too often but when you have a sandwich thats this good you have no choice! The pastrami sandwich these guys serve is too die for! I had it last week and basicly just had a flashback and now i might go there for lunch. The bread meat and sauce all compliment each other so perfectly i killed it within minutes and had no shame doing it (the bar was full) lol. Trust me they have gems on the menu but that sandwich is killer! The server was very good also he had a huge beard all the regulars loved him he was very helpful ;)

A small pub with loads of charm. The food was incredible and tasted fresh. I couldn't have been happier with the service as well.

Great environment to watch the game, 3-6 happy hour and half price select pints, Sunday half price pizza that you can order by the slice. Need I say more?

Staff is really nice, but I got swver food poisoning from here and was out of commission, in agony, for 2.5 days. I wrote to management on their website but didn't hear anything back. It's a nice friendly place, but the food poisoning was just awful, and the lack of response quite jarring.

Just got home from my first visit to Pubblico Eatery. We had a great Sunday lunch and was beyond happy with our meal and our time there.
We started with the Fried Zucchini, which was the best I've ever had, and then shared a pizza.
I've lived in Ottawa for about 15 years and eaten more pizza then I'd like to admit. Pubblico Eatery was the best I've tried in Ottawa hands down. Everything was made in house and very fresh.
I only wish I lived closer, highly recommend giving it a try.
Will definitely be back again to try different items off the menu.
I never post reviews for restaurants, but it's extremely rare to enjoy every aspect of your dining experience.

We love coming here! Cute/cool atmosphere and good spot to watch sports or just chill for a beer. Super friendly staff, especially the bartender with the beard. The NY slice with pepperoni is a good snack and the White Album is a standout white sauce based pizza. The mac/mac and cheese balls are also to die for.

Good service, wings good, (ran out of zucchini so didn't get to try that), pretzel OK. Problems with Pizza and Chicken Parm, tasted like the same base tomato sauce was used, and someone slipped and added Oregano 5x normal. Chicken Parm was inedible for me, and couldn't finish more than a few bites of pizza. Took home pizza and gave it away, couldn't eat it. Kinda disappointing as it was a birthday dinner. I would suggest asking for no oregano in your meal to be safe. I think we'd have been just fine without the oregano, as food was fast and fresh. We used to come here all the time when it was Agave grill, the renos have it now as a sports bar. TVs on the wall, guys at the bar. Nice big window out front still there.

Went here for drinks and enjoyed the ambiance, the footie match, and banter from the regulars. Roddy and his staff are friendly and attentive and treat you like one of their own! Didn't have a chance to try the pizza but it's on my to do list when I'm back in town.

You'd be forgiven for walking past this place. It's a narrow front and doesn't look like much from the outside but once you step in you'll find a sports bar vibe with many TVs, friendly staff and a number of regulars. Even better is the food. Sports bar pub grub with an upscale twist, expect to have house made chutneys and ketchups as well as twists on favorites. The parmesan sauce on the wings is enlightening and their grilled cheese is to die for. Highly recommended.

New York style large for 28 dollars? I've never complained about a pizza online but this is horrible spend the 6.99 on pizza pizza wow

Delicious pizza, great relaxing spot, cool music, and great service! This is our second time here and it doesn't disappoint. We will be coming back soon.

Really nice staff (and that's what saves the rating a bit), but unfortunately the pizza was just average (or slightly below) and is nothing like what you find in New York. My quest to find a good NY style place in Ottawa continues.

My partner and I have visited Pubblico four times now, once for the hot dogs and three times for the Brooklyn-style pizza. We had the pleasure of being served by the owner (Rod) during our most recent visit for pizza and some cold brews. He took the time to tell us the story of how the pizza served here was inspired by his multiple trips to New York proper and researching what makes the pizza so special (e.g, John’s and Di Fara). Not only do we love the pizza here, but the story behind its development/inspiration makes it so much more special! The service here is excellent, the food is outstanding, and the vibe makes you want to come back the very next day. Definitely a Westboro gem:)

Stopped in for a late lunch after getting a massage up the street. Had a large 4 topping pie which since it was Sunday was half off. Pie was delicious; fresh dough and ingredients. Would have happy paid full price. Beer was nice and cold; atmosphere was warm and cozy. Sorry we waited so long but will be back soon. Thanks for a great experience Pubblico; See you soon!

This place has been on my list for a long time. Now that I’ve been, I’d like to be a regular! Great hot dog and the NY style pizza with pepperoni is spot on! I’ll be back!

Good selection of beers and cocktails but the best was the pizzas. Toasty crusty with a bit of a smoky flavour.

I like this place … food good, service attentive… cozy atmosphere …good prices… lots of potential…. But there is a BUT…. The music playing out of the sound system is BORING and way too LOUD… not conducive for a quiet relaxing end of day food&drink atmosphere …. Real turn off… might not go back because of that…. It’s too bad… it showed a lot of promise.sent email a month ago as suggested but have yet to receive a reaction.

We ordered takeout from here NYE. It was delicious! We had the Caesar salad which had a delicious dressing and pancetta and croutons and some kind of yummy white cheese (not parm). Then we had the steak sandwich which had a really yummy grilled steak flavour and a super nice, soft Portuguese bun. Lastly we had the mushroom pasta which had a light but delicious cream sauce with a serious rosemary flavour. Not sure if the fettuccine was fresh but it tasted like it was. All in all really good. I’m sure in person it is even better!

This was my second time at Pubblico and certainly not my last! I had the Cony Island Dog. It was fantastic! Also had a NY Slice on my previous visit. Excellent pizza! Atmosphere is nice, homie & cozy. Service was really friendly and inviting!

Wow, what a bad experience. I ordered the publicco chicken parm and my girlfriend ordered wild mushroom fettuccine. They first came out with chicken fingers. Not what I ordered! While my girlfriend was eating, they were preparing my chicken parm entre. It came out as a sandwich, again not what I ordered. But get this. The chicken was chewy as it was raw! My girlfriends fettuccine was flavorless. I gave this place 2 stars as the ceasar salad exceeded my expectations

Had the Nathans’s hot dogs - the Coney Island & the Chicago - and they were incredible! Finished off with some draft beer and made the perfect dinner.

Times are tough. Food was poor to mediocre. Service was excellent though with a little up selling going on. Everage Selection was extremely limited.but as I said times are tough and the food industry is suffering. Exemplified here unfortunately.

Consistently delicious. I've been several times and will be going back a lot more. The prices are fair and the servings are generous. Friendly staff and quick service. Definitely a place you should check out.

Definitely NY style pizza, crust and sauce was great, we were disappointed in the lack of "double meat" when we paid extra for it.

Meatballs were delicious but maybe overpriced for two meatballs; unless they plate them with something else when dining in. Ceasar salad was standard, pancetta was delicious, lettuce could have been fresher.

Pretty much what I expected with Brooklyn style pizza. Reasonable prices and friendly service, I'm excited for my next visit!

Have enjoyed Vinny and team for a little over a year now. We always enjoyed the down-to-earth bar chatter and service. Now, in the world of COVID, it is take-out or a table out front, but as always good food, good folks and a customer orientation will keep us going back.

The food is delicious! Service is great! Try the Mac and Cheese balls so yummy, bartender Andrea was delightful and knowledgeable of the menu. This place is definitely worth a visit

Went last night with a group of friends and had a great time. Food and service were excellent. Jessica takes care of everything up front and Elvano takes care of the kitchen. It was just the two of them and they are a dynamic duo. Very personable, friendly, and took great care of us.

Pubblico is a very unassuming place both inside and out. Very casual looking with lots of TVs showing various games. They initially had some game audio on but Jessica switched it to music for us. Her playlist was awesome and we were happy watching the games with music for background noise.

The food was great. Our group had the ravioli, bruschetta and fried zucchini to start. The zucchini was too thin to taste much more than the breading but the other two apps were great. For mains the spaghetti bolognese, pizza, shrimp pesto pasta, etc.were all amazing. I had the pizza and the large pizza with a nice thin crust easily feeds two adults. Highly recommend it.

Saturday was half price wine bottles and they don't have much of a selection so I don't think that would be a big draw for me. They have a few beers on draft including Lagunitas IPA and Jessica makes a killer old fashioned. They actually have a much better bourbon selection than most places in ottawa including Basil Hayden's, buffalo trace, woodford, makers, bulleit, etc.

We are all looking forward to going back.
