Public Drop Off Depot

Be aware it’s a multi use disposal& recycling facility. As a 1st time user, go slow and follow signs. Very helpful staff and well designed disposal. Bins are below grade so no lifting, just dump and let gravity take over

Exit is slow, they would benefit from fast food drive through pay systems that use credit card machine on a stick to avoid customers walking up to window to pay

Prices are in-line with other nearby counties in SW Ontario

Our city, centrally located dropoff, is very convenient, clean and efficient. Unfortunately though very expensive. It is no wonder why some people choose to use our back roads, ditches and other people's rented dumpsters to drop their garbage. I guess it's the same old " it is expensive to do the right thing" adage. If not for the expense I would have rated it a 5.

For the love of recycling, please make it a separate spot to drop off non garbage items. It’s a very frustrating experience waiting to drop off cardboard loads with people using the scale.
Staff is friendly but the system is ineffective.

Pretty simple setup. Leaving though, prepare to sit and sit and sit. What a terrible process. A second scale would definitely speed to process up.

Everyone helps to keep things moving along. I had drop offs at three different area and they were very clear about where to go. Leaving and paying was easy too.

Signage is fairly clear. Staff direct you to your bin based on your cargo. The main issue is the need to "weigh in" and "weigh out". The former took 20 mins, the latter 30 mins.on a day/time that should not be busy. Perhaps requires more staff in Weigh booth, instead of one guy doing In and Out.

Do your part and recycle! Great facility.

Now here is something that would help, after all we all get that 'Environmental Fee' tacked into our electronics purchases: avoid confusion between the Main booth (Entry/Exit) and the Oils/Paint/Batteries building. The Main booth told me to return my used laser printer cartridges there, meanwhile the Paints guy was having a fit over it. Man, I am just trying to do my best, and do it right, to avoid putting any such waste in the normal garbage!

When you see a place like this you realize how wasteful us humans are. You ask yourself, "where does this stuff go"? I think we all need to appreciate the work that gets done behind the scenes, the sorting out. We all have to learn to be more environmentally aware, less wasteful items, reuse things, there's gonna come a time when we are not gonna have places to live, it will just be tons of garbage everywhere.

I had a comfortable and quick way of clearing my waste here. Its very cheap and good. I would prefer this place to everyone
