We had a wonderful experience dining at the Punjabi Haveli Finch Avenue Location. We, a group of 10 people, went to Punjabi Haveli Restaurant on my Father's Birthday. The food was amazing and the person who attended us, Nitin, was so friendly and attentive. He was knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was also great; it was comfortable and relaxing. I normally don't write reviews, but I am writing it for the food quality. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and their helpful staff.
It is my go to Indian restaurant since last 2 years. Never disappointed by their taste and service. One of the best Indian restaurants in my list! Love it
Ridiculous, they took 1 hour for paratha to make, when we asked them they said their cook is not here yet. Just close the store, people don’t have time to waste for your idiotic reasons. Pathetic
The food I ordered was so disgusting. The oreo shake, golgappe and ras malai was not at all good. Very bad service. Guys save your money and order from somewhere else.
Placed an order at 11: 00 p.m. They told me to pick up at 11: 15 p.m. It is 11: 58 p.m. Now that I am waiting for my order and still waiting. 5 girls in the staff grouped up and talking near the front counter. No one is bothered. Worst experience. Not even understaffed but still. Either poor management or poor performing employees.
The only reason I m giving 1 start is for courteous service and solution offered by the male server/manager who offered us 20% discount for almost 45 mins wait time for food service and greasy food (especially the indo-chinese offerings). The north Indian food was still decent but not worth waiting for 45 mins to get our food. They seem to be only welcoming and providing quick service to the take out orders. Look at the pics I have posted, dirty dishes on the tables were not picked up after customers left, way too much grease in the food. My son and my friend puked after eating. It's definitely a health hazard and not sure why Toronto Public health doesn't do anything about it. Pretty sure lots of people must have complained and you can see the latest reviews below. Things have changed here it seems drastically. It was the worst fathers day gift me and friends got by taking our families out here to dine in.
Value for money. Basically you get for what you pay. Price is very reasonable and test is as expected as price. They have tiffin services and different dishes to select.
Fantastic food & service- esp malai kofta and paneer sandwiches. But would never order a bhel puri here - how does a dish without potato, dates chutney and spices be served as Bhrl puri?
The staff who served was v patient to hear us out but couldn't take the feedback over to the chef. Otherwise a yumm place.
What a fabulous meal we had here! It was like eating food cooked with love by my grandmother! I will definitely back for more, especially the mix parantha!
Horrible service. Ordered naans, waited an hour and they were still not ready. Terrible customer service and when you try asking about the status of your order, they hang up on you and take new orders. Finish up the existing orders before taking up new ones!
Never going back. Just ordered a couple parathas. They do not serve yogurt with that which is surprising for me in a Punjabi restaurant. If you want yogurt, you have to compulsory buy a combo which I didn't want so I had to request few times so that they give me yogurt on the side. I was so disappointed that they charged me for a small bowl of yogurt at the same price as it was for the whole paratha. The most disgusting was chilli panner with sweet gravy. Last thing, Service was terrible.
We went to this restaurant tonight it was a great experience Indian food which we ordered was outstanding. Everything they served was 10-10 presentation just amazed us, background music was outstanding. Server Mandeep served us so well thanks to this restaurant for this amazing experience. I’ll recommend you guys should try this restaurant.
Amazing tasty food! Authentic Punjabi taste. My kid enjoyed her dinner till last bite… service was very fast.highly recommend their thali with glass of buttermilk and piping hot samosas.
Worst experience. After ordering from doordash, had to wait for more than 40 mins standing inside the restaurant for take away. No professionalism at all and no respect to the customer. Spoiled my breakfast.
Such a bad food. I bought chana bhatura and gulab jamun. The chana was sour and smell foul and bhatura also sour.gulab jamun was very bad and sticky sugar syrup look like they made 20 days ago.the food and place was unhygienic and worst people serving there.there was girl she don’t have knowledge and experience how to talk to the customers
The food there is so good. But I would recommend ordering for pickup or delivery from skip as they don't seem to be prepare for dinners. Service is not so good. Even though they r nice but they seem to be not wanting to deal with the dinners.
We visited with family. Everything was devious. But i want to say just hire more staff because we have to wait for so long for food.but at the end everything is superb . The girl named Isha is mind blowing. She is handling front alone and also handling with deliver person.superb girl. Appreciate your effort.
