We order some Indian food here and it was not the first time. Even if we asked for less spicy food, it was incredibly spicy. We had some difficulties to finish it. Last time it was not so spicy.
This was once my favourite Indian place in London. I used to order quite regularly and always recommended it to my friends. However, something about their food has changed recently. First of all, it’s too spicy; to the point where you can’t quite taste the food. Second, the quality doesn’t seem as good either-the food doesn’t seem as fresh. I’m a little disappointed by this. I hope they can improve soon and be as good as they used to be!
Try the New palak pathaa chaat truly incredible and it's an amazing place for your rumbling stomach with lots of variety. Its a place open late at night recommended to get authentic flavor everytime. Quality is outstanding the service is really good always smiling keep it up!
Terrible food. Their Palak Paneer was dried up and sour. Really don't know why they sell if it's stale. And Daal Tadka was without salt. Waste of money.
Punjabi Rasoi is a best place to get indian food. Today, I tried manchurian it was really good and I enjoyed my food a lot. Staff is really good and very friendly. I suggest to go this place for good food and price is also reasonable. Thanks
My experience today is really good. I ordered amritsari kulcha with chana, it was amazing. Punjabi rasoi is the good place to get Indian food with good quality and price and also the staff is very friendly and respectful. Thank you
Very expensive food, poorly cooked Pink meat.raw veggies and way too much sliimmy and greasy.horrible meal all around.poor service and poor hospitality
I use to order from them alot but the time they change management food is garbage they use have best samosas in london but now it is horrible i hope they do something about that waste of money greasy and oily too
Not satisfied at all, first of all that serve that woman was so rude and the foods was so disgusting we didn’t even eat that much and when we order drinks the yogurt lassi we actually ordered the sweet lassi but she gave us salt one and had to throw and we wasted money. Not going back there anymore because I don’t see any respect with that woman thanks
Totally disgusting experience today. I went for my dinner, and girl working upfront was very rude and in rush; totally spoiled my mood. She didn’t gave any attention towards my order. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Today, i had ordered on uber. My order was for Chana masala, bhatura, Rasmalai and samosa. I have tried chana masala and bhatura only, both things were not good at all, bhatura were not fresh, so hard to chew it. It was neither crispy nor soft, but hard to chew. I had put a note to make chana masala double spicy, but i got it mild. When i called in the restaurant to tell about it, then the employee was very rude, she did not accept anything or did not even say sorry but kept saying our manager will talk to you. She was argumenting that, we have never had any complaints about these orders and so many things. Really disappointed from food quality and customer service.
Drastically dropped down in quality and I mean it. As a sweet shop they are good but as a food restaurant not anymore and it’s sad. And I am saying this after trying from here and other Indian places multiple times and comparing. Another thing is the price, I pay $14 for 18 chapatis at Indo Asian and $23 for 18 chapatis at Punjabi Rasoi. I have no problem in paying more but it should be worth it but not anymore! It used to be my favourite place so unfortunately I had to take my old 5 star review down! And I am amazed that a lot of people have said same things but just arrogance alone in few responses to those reviews is just so upsetting! I hope it gets better.
My experience was very good from your restaurant. I did dine in during evening. Aloo prantha and other all vegetarian curries are really taste same as india. The customer service is very good and they are so polite. I really like your food. Thank you.
Food was really bad specially the salted lassi. It had a sour taste. Staff did not do anything even after complaining. Staff behaviour was really rude and ignorant.
Really bad Rose Faluda. All they did was defrost it. And they cannot even do that well. The sev inside was still not chewable. All I tasted was ice cream. No rose flavor in a rose faluda. I wish I didn't wasted my money at this place. It used to be so much better.
Not same as it was before. Ordered bhel it cost aroubd $8 dollars and it taste same as Haldiram's ready to eat bhel. Chilly chicken was tangy. Not up to the mark. Not sure if the management was changed but it's not same as before
The first comment was two years old which was for the previous management. I am lot happier with current management. Keep it up with the good food and good service!
I am ordering the food from this restaurant from months now.every time the food is really good. Simple and well made… Love it and recommending to everyone who want to try Indian Punjabi food.
The quality of the food of this place has drastically gone down in the past few months. I ordered a plate each of Chole Bhature and Amritsari Kulcha Chana. The chole/chana was plain bland, lacking salt or any flavours as a matter of fact. The raita served was sour as well. The Kulcha itself was pretty good, but the Bhature were unevenly cooked. Some part was extra cooked while some was raw.
All in all, I was totally disappointed and it was really bad to see such a good place go down in shambles.
I have really not great experience so I went there to get some sweets and the sweets were 12 dollars per lb when she weighed my sweets that comes with box and she charged box as well as 12 dollars per lb when I asked she was pretended she didn’t understand even didn’t understd try to tell her in Hindi and still same that was so rude and I will not visit again
Very bad experience, food was disgusting. It felt like i was eating rotten rats. It looks like these guys take water from gutter for cooking. Completely disappointed.
We'd ordered Veg (Jain) Thalis for all our guests during a housewarming ceremony. Also, for the dessert we added Milk Pedhas. The food was delicious and looked hygienic. The packing was good too. Our overall experience, right from placing the order to final delivery was seamless as their staff is very courteous and responsive. Keep up the good work!
Had lunch here yesterday: bread pakora, chole puri thali and a couple sweets. Everything was great! Puri was fresh, flavours of the chana and vegetable curry were wonderful. Especially liked that when I requested vegan for the thali, I had my choice of any curry instead of raita. My son loved the bread pakora and sweet.
It was a Wonderful experience to have my meal with PUNJABI RASOI. The moment you will reach out this place you will feel as you are in punjab. Taste of every single food is beyond the expectations. Staff is very friendly and helpful as I got chance to intract with MANJOT who is very sweet. Hope to see PUNJABI RASOI in TORONTO SCARBOROUGH also.
Punjabi Rasoi provided the catering for our wedding lunch reception. The food was excellent! We had many guests compliment the catering. Punjabi Rasoi ensured that all the food was packaged in a COVID friendly thali with several items and desert. They were very communicative and helpful throughout the planning process. They came to the venue well ahead of time to set up their own outdoor tent and provided timely service.
2018: Very good service. Parul was great at her job. Good implications of solving the complaints heard before. Delicious food. Edit in 2021: Visited again as usual.now dine in is open. Ordered Amritsari Kulcha.it is absolutely amazing. Harjot was extremely friendly. Good customer service and care. Gonna visit again soon.
I ordered the samsosa, kadai panner, vegetable biryani in bulk at 11am but biryani spoiled at 5pm.when I called the restaurant to complain about this they were saying we need to refrigerator the rice.it's doesn't make any sense. Thanks
I bought milk cake around 2 pounds to give as gift to my realtives from this place.when we open this box of milk cake and tested, it was soure, milk cake went bad.looks like milk cake was very old and owner doesn't check if all the sweets are good or bad.i would never buy sweets from this place.
Update: looks like management or cooked changed. Food is not that quality. Before covid food was good. It is getting worst.
Work gave me a 25$ uber eats gift card and I made the most of it today! Super happy with my first order and it wont be the last? The paneer parantha is so good! And the faluda kulfi!
We ordered a food for party. Everyone gave us a compliment about delicious DAL MAKHNI. MIX VEGATEBLE was also delicious not over fried or oily. It tasted like a homemade. Masala TEA is better than TIMHORTONS. BE AWARE, you could be addicted of RASOI'S masala TEA.
Horrible food extremely watery gravy. Seems to have been stored for weeks. This is the 4th time in a row the was bad. They need to work on their quality and quality! Very disappointed
Its best in town. If you wanna have an Indian taste then its best to have a try. Store is clean and food is good. 5 star for the better service as well.
Yesterday I bought Chana Masala bulk curry from there. It was literally of a third class quality. It was just chickpeas and water added into it. There were no gravy in that. Not worth as per their quality of food. It seems that it was made before a week ago. No taste at all.
One of my all time favorite restaurant's in London. The food is extremely rich with intense mouthwatering flavors. You must try this place in case you haven't. I highly recommend the thali, Dal makhni and the naans!
The food is exceptionally delicious and well priced. They always seem to have a line even during a pandemic. The Dal is to die for as is the fresh naan.
I tried paneer kulcha today and it was one of the best i had so far.it is also worth mentioning that staff was friendly and professional.good job guys.
The most expensive for plain rice in london 6.00$ and the portion is hideously smallest in london and i also ordered plain rice. They gave me pulau and says its regular. Never odering from here. The container they use they say is 16 ounce but rice is light and it barely even has 10 ounce. Change the container or weight it before you send the order
Tried this place today and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back. Authentic Indian food I moved from the GTA and have been looking for a place to satisfy my cravings for Indian food!
We have Noticed that you handle the Situation with Honesty So Now I have No Grudge for you But Please be Careful for any Future Orders. BTW, I revised my Comments and also changed it to 4 STARS instead of SINGLE STAR Rating.
Best Indian Veg restaurant in London, We ordered Veg-thali and Chana-Bhatura, It was nutritious, delicious and inexpensive, the restaurant is quite small and but well-maintained, Staffs are super-friendly and welcoming, Would highly recommend for authentic Indian taste in London area!
Absolutely amazing desi food in good old London Ontario. Vegetation only yet exceptional taste. I'd recommend everybody to try the tasty and soft batoore with chole along with hot masala tea and samosa chaat as a starter. You will keep coming back for more. Keep up the great work guys! And fun fact, they also provide a 10% student discount.
