Got the Beef donair plate. It was soaked in a sauce that was straight up gross. Might be just that dish though

Visited this dainty middle Eastern restaurant few weeks ago and ordered a chicken platter for take-out and it was delicious and amazing. The owner was nice and friendly. The quantity was quite a lot. I couldn't finish it at home. I would go again to try their signature donair pizza. Recommended if you are craving excellent middle Eastern food.

Ordered from Uber eats. Both meals were stone cold. Also both dinners were supposed to come with garlic potatoes but we got rice and like 5 fries.spankopita was a soggy mess. Spankopita is supposed to be crispy and it tasted like the dough was under cooked. Rice had ZERO seasoning. This was awful and I basically threw it away. Waste of my money

I'm going to try to put some real effort into this, because I think it's important.

Now, I can't talk about the physical location as we ordered delivery, but what I can say is that this is the kind of food that you order once and never again.

I ordered a Beef Shawarma Dinner Platter, which arrived stone cold. Ok, maybe that's the driver's fault. I hoped the food would make up for it, but it was just sad.

One, it wasn't Shawarma but Donair (the difference between them being that the former is stacked, sliced meats while the latter is ground, spiced meats).

Two, the rice is flavorless. I mean utterly flavorless. No seasoning at all. Not even salt.

Three, it was meant to come with Garlic Potatoes. It did not. It came with fries.and when I say fries, I mean, it came with seven fries. Literally seven. That's. I mean, come on. Seven fries in place of garlic potatoes?

Listen, I get it. It was a Sunday night. Maybe things got out of control in the kitchen, but this wasn't a dinner. It was a crime against food.

Oh, and this wasn't just me. My wife literally could not eat her meal at all. It was a Spanakopita Platter and it was so soggy that you would think it was literally dipped in oil, smothered with creamy garlic juice and placed on top of another bed of cold, flavorless rice. (Pic of hers attached)

I gave this place two stars because I did eat some of my food, after hearing it up and adding some spices, but unless you're starving and this place is the only one open in ten miles, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Not quite as good as the donairs in Hfx/Dartmouth, but just to have a taste reminiscent of those after many years is a delight. Will definitely visit again. The large size quite substantial.

Don't try the pizza, it tasted like a cold, soggy undercooked donut. They used sugar in the dough, and as frosting.

First time coming here and it was the best donair I ever had. The guy even throw in some extra meat. So I gave a good tip. I'll be coming back here and there.

Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but Donair wraps here are so tasty, you won't be disappointed. Hold them like a taco so the tasty sauce won't drip out.

Upon entering the employee behind the counter was more than welcoming and extremely polite and helpful. We had 2 large Donairs which were fair size and delicious. Recommended.

Delicious food. Ordered the Ramadan special and was amazing. 10/10. Also staff are very nice

I had their donair and poutine, it was really good. I like a bit spicy and more sauce in donair and they made it exactly according to my taste bud. And everyone was so friendly and nice. I really recommend the place.

Every time I go there, I always run into issues. Half the meat is fat and slime, good luck chewing on it for the price we pay we should expect some decent service. I will try my best not going there anymore.

Thank you to Mazil the very friendly staff. It is nice to eat where people are friendly. The Donair wrap is delicious. They give you big portions, this place is better than most places in Toronto.

In the area with my sister and hungry as a horse, spotted the Donair sign and that being one of our favourite foods, we just had to try their version. So glad we did. Had the spicy beef Donair wrap and it was quite uniquely delicious and huge for the price. I couldn't finish mine so had the other half the next night for dinner, another of my favourite things, dinner already waiting for me. We'll definitely be going back.

This place is delicious. Have tried the Beef Donair and Chicken Platters and they were super tasty. Generous portions as well!

Poutine is Horrible, they put way too much gravy (and that stuff was too runny so it didnt even stick on the fries)

I actually barfed afterwards because I think the chicken wasn't cooked properly.

Chicken wings are so small, and for 10$ i could go ANYWHERE else and it would taste 10x better.

Incredibly delicious burger close to the theatre. All dressed has fresh ingredients. Patty is deliciously flavoured and perfectly cooked. Wow

Pizza quality was so bed. There is very less toppings but every pizza price was 19$. Its disappointing.

Quick service and friendly staff. Ordered a chicken shawarma and poutine, the shawarma was good and so was the poutine but could've used a little more gravy. That's my one and only complaint.

Don't bother calling to place any orders for pick-up, they wait for you to arrive before beginning to prepare your meals.

So i'm not from Halifax, but I've been and did my homework on where to grab a solid Donair, including drunken visits to the late night spots to really get the experience.

I feel if I was a true east coaster, I may say something about how it's better back home, but this was basically what I remembered most east-coast style donairs tasting like.

Anytime I get the itch, this place will do it.

The best Falafel in the Regent park/Cabbagetown area! Great price, service and fresh toppings! Will definitely order again and you should too!

Generous portions and delicious. They were fairly busy and I had to wait a bit longer than expected but they were extremely apologetic and attentive otherwise.

I find the fries salty. I like their chicken shawarma.

I’ve been in the restaurant for 3 times and I notice that the guy doesn’t wear mask. He only wears after he gets the orders.

Good menu choices at reasonable prices, sauces are generously given upon request, falafel is cooked to order which is much better than most restaurants that precook them. The chicken sharwama is well made too.

Don't let the haters sway you - this is a legit burger joint. Their burgers, fries, and onion rangz are bomb. Very affordable. You won't regret it. If you want a shawarma go to a place with shawarma in its name.

I used to love this place but things have changed drastically. I ordered medium Poutine and once i got home and took the first bite i regret it so bad because it was filled with salt. I wish this was just that one time but no i ordered 2 times more and it was same problem even though i told them to put less salt. Never going back here coz they repeat the probelm instead of fixing it.

Go-to restaurant for all my fast food cravings. Great prices and food, staff are very kind and I always get my orders quickly.

Worst falafel I've had in my life, and my stomach unfortunately agrees. I'm not the first one with these complaints. Way too salty, left me thirsty (despite drinking lots of water.) Baked the whole thing so the veggies were hot and mushy. And the guy didn't bother wearing a mask til I asked him to.
Just made me appreciate all the other falafels I've had.

Ordered on UberEats. We were looking for a new Shawarma place in our area and decided to try out Pure Pizza & Burger, hoping it would become our 'new spot'. Unfortunately, we ran into a few issues. We ordered 2 chicken shawarma platters, as well as 2 pieces of fried chicken. What we received were two shawarma wraps. This in itself wouldn't have been horrible, except these wraps were completely disintegrating and fell apart even before the first bite. On top of this, the fried chicken pieces were served in nothing but a brown paper bag, that was soaked in grease by the time it got to us. All this made for a supremely disappointing experience. The taste itself was pretty decent, so i might order from them once more to see if this was a fluke, or if this is their regular quality. I guarantee if I receive the same kind of service, they will never see my business again.

Meh. Food is mediocre. Their online menu doesn't match what's in store (I ordered something they don't even have). Pizza toppings were stingy. Crust is too thick and tasteless. Staff didn't care about mask usage at all — one staff member kept raising and lowering his mask multiple times while I waited for my food and while he performed tasks, and the other was completely maskless when I arrived (but put it on while I was there).

Never ate here. Just saw in the background of Pastor David Lynn's latest YouTube video. I'm in Edmonton. Hope to go there someday. Support small businesses!

I’ve gotten my whole family hooked to this place. They never disappoint on freshness, taste or service. This is our go to fast food mom and pop place. And the poutine is almost like Costco’s but better!

I got a pizza slice which was huge, and a medium poutine. All was delicious, quick and cheap. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff (they served me slightly after closing time - I was super hungry) and the salad was good.

I was very hungry and it's already 10pm time to close but gentleman at the counter took my order and made me very delicious burger and I was on my way to Mississauga thank you for excellent service

I go here almost daily. The staff is very friendly and their food is amazing. The cost of food is low enough that you can eat lunch there for 10 bucks. I love it there, I wouldn't change a thing, and I would recommend to anyone looking to get full on a low budget. My go to spot.

I love their biryani, wings and fries and most importantly their pizzas (veg and meat) are very well made. This is my go-to halal food place whenever I am in the area. Their biryani is a must try.

Meat and veggie pizza was good, so was the fried chicken. The butter chicken poutine was awesome! Good prices too.

The burgers are good just a bit on the expensive side. Also bare in mind the food does take around 10 minutes to make.
