Worst, most antiquated company you can imagine. Horrible customer service. Protocols make no sense. Don’t even attempt delivery or follow delivery instructions.

Tell me why it is that when they screw up and fail to deliver a package when I’m home (because they choose not to knock, ring the doorbell, or call) I have to wait 2 days to pickup my package? It’s somewhere out there waiting to be picked up. Why do I have to wait for them to decide it’s time for me to pick up my package? Complete joke.

Save yourself the headache — DO NOT USE PUROLATOR!

Absolutely unreal. I was up since 7am at home, signed up for "never miss a delivery by signing up for sms". No text either. No knock. No doorbell. I paid for expedited with signature, and not even a knock? Not even a doorbell ring? Pathetic.

Late deliveries despite expedited shipping saying its "out for delivery" for days. Must be the company laying people off/cutting shifts and unable to handle the workload. What a fall from grace.

I've had 2 deliveries this year via Purolator and neither one was delivered on time. Shipment gets marked as out for delivery and then marked as rescheduled to next day due to missed delivery. I've been home all day and waiting.

I use this Purolator Depot for sending parcels out. The service lady who works there is always kind and helpful. The packages I send out always get to their destination safe and on time.

Lazy drivers. They dont even try to contact you. Wasted a morning waiting at home for the driver only to have to go 30 minutes by taxi to pick up the boxes myself. Online chat is useless and long wait times on the phone

I’ve waited enough before writing this review.
Very disappointing service as 2 start rating explains. Delivery person does not knock, buzz, or call when attempting delivery. My package contained a live plant worth $300 that was not delivered (left a notice) when the box had clear instructions written on it. I filed a complaint with customer service and they advised me that manager named Kolt will be calling me. Well, no one has called me so far.

Local driver leaves parcel ON busy highway road and in ditches while reporting extra large boxes fit “in” mailbox continues to swear and threaten customers reports have been made but Purolator doesn’t care this violent man continues to be employed. How can this be resolved. Customer Service is aware and brush it off

Very poor service. The guy came to pick up the package was rude. I paid for the envelope service. There was none in his truck, he replied. I told him i paid for it. He informed he is leaving as it takes time even he was not willing to wait 5 mins and i was looking for any spare envelope in the house.
I wasnot prepared to use ffom home as i paid for it.

Gave me an incorrect date for delivery and did not send text updates as requested. Why would a driver leave an Apple Watch outside a home on a busy street when it could easily have been placed inside the door? Because they don’t care, that’s why. I’ve had this issue with receiving packages from Purolator before. Beware.

They didn’t even knock, I heard a engine start so went to go to the door and he drove away… now have to go out of my way to get it when he could’ve knocked and could have given it right away

Lied about the date my package delivery was attempted. Drove over to the storefront to pick up said delivery only to find out once I arrived that the driver had put the incorrect date when it'd be available so wasted an hour of my time plus gas money. Not impressed.

I had to pick up equipment that couldn't be left in my apartment building lobby, which is totally understandable. I was greeted by the kindest woman with blonde hair, I wish I remembered their name. I didn't have to wait long, I showed my ID, and I was on my way. I would absolutely recommend this business, they're always on time.

Frequently don't even attempt to contact the individual if they run into any issue. Instead leave a poorly written notice. Phone service is completely useless. You cannot contact the local office and voice service offers nothing of use. Just garbage service. Never have this problem with any other delivery companies.

They left a musical instrument on a truck for three days in the freezing cold.
Apparently the driver could not finish the route.
Was on the truck at ten in the morning.
Not enough time? I doubt it.
I think someone was just getting ready for the weekend!
Not impressed with the negative customer service.

Been picking up and sending large number of boxes from depot every week, never had any issues at all.

I'm not sure if I've ever given one star before. They tried to deliver my package for a week since they received it (the warehouse is <6km from my house), but "missed connection" every day, so I gave up and went to pick it up myself. There is no way to call them directly. The item shipped from Chicago through Vancouver (!), took like 3x the advertised shipping time estimate to get to Kingston, ON. Don't order from Dell.ca if you need something urgently.

Don't count on them delivering your package on time or at all, just expect to pick it up from the depot.

It was slow and they had a sign on the door with maximum number of people which was 2 by the time I was served there was 4 people one who only had a mask half on and the person serving us said nothing to him or the other two people about the maximum amount of people so I hope I don't have to go back

Receiced a camera notification Purolator was at door. I was not there and would have not otherwise have knows as they did not leave pkg or any note indicating they were there. The next day I tracked the package. Said unable to deliver would call to make delivery arrangements. They never called. For three days a same update no calls. Their Kingston office did not have an operator pick: up. I finally called 1-800+ and now have to wait to next week

Edit: I went for the pick up and the staff were so welcoming and helping. They called the courier and made sure the package will be sent to me. The operator on the phone wrongly told me on the phone that you have to go and pick up your package. It was flagged as "delivered to trusted agent". I had to take an Uber to be there on time after staying home for a full day waiting for my package.

Not even attempted to deliver. Sent to the warehouse for pickup. I suggest changing the name to pick up service instead of delivery service

Always dread seeing their company name when I order an Amazon package. They never call, or make any effort to tell me they have arrived. It's as if they are already writing their slips as soon as they see an appartment. I contacted Amazon support about our buzzer situation as there is no other way to leave these people any delivery notes after the order has been made, but it made no difference. Instead, I get a notification saying they attempted to delivery at 5: 30 in the morning. Now, just like every other delivery, I have to take what little free time I have to travel across town to these people because they refuse to make themselves known and seemingly expect people to wait in their lobbies all day for them.

Our delivery guy Trevor is the absolute best young fella! He is so friendly, curtious and a super kind guy! He always has time for a quick chat and make us feel great. He just doesn't drop and go!

Got an email & text saying my parcel would be here by the end of the day. Waited at home ALL DAY! Even though I had appointments to go to. Was depending on the package to be here like stated!

Saw the driver FLY by at top speed, on a street that has lots of kids and animals living on it. My parcel left Ottawa at 4am to be here.never showed!

Just wish there would be a better updating system to let people know, "hey, we don't think we will make it, or it is delayed, or it missed the time frame to be delivered locally. ". Anything would be better than nothing!

I had a package they were apparently unable to deliver because it was too heavy even though I got the same item and the same weight from fedex who carried it all himself, the tracking kept saying that they were going to contact me to schedule delivery and they never did contact me I had to drive myself 3 days later and pick up the item. They seemed very happy they didn't have to deliver it. Then sent me an email I l saying they delivered it.idiots

If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
This Purolator location often fakes delivery attempts. They will mark a delivery as attempted on your tracking, when in fact no attempt was made. No Pickup Slip was left. This occurred multiple times, where I will be at home all day when tracking says "out for delivery" and not even hear a knock or door bell ring. When I check the tracking at the end of the day, it will be changed to "delivery attempted, receiver unavailable".
Whats worse is they don't even give you notice that they faked an attempt and redirected your package to a location that's 1 hour away by transit. Good luck getting through to their phone lines as well, average waiting time has been at least 30min to an hour.
One of the worst managed purolator locations in the world. The owner should be ashamed of how this place is run.

Delivery always fails because the address says it's wrong.no other company has this issue any time I order delivery.to top it off I fixed the address issue, changed my mind and updated the address to have it sent to my home, only to have it show up at the original location the next morning.worst courier ever. I'd rather pay through the nose for UPS or sell my soul to FedEx.

The parcel I ordered has never arrived. I was told that the driver left it with "someone". No name, no signature.

I have had several packages delivered here in the past; all of them successfully. When I have not been home they have always left a note to pick up the parcel at the depot. I don't mind going there to get parcels.

For some reason.this time, they decided to leave the parcel at the door or with some other person. What kind of an idiot leaves a parcel on a porch downtown or with a stranger?

This is not service. This is complete incompetence. I expect compensation and I will keep after this organization until I get my package.

Okey.so i was expecting a delivery from amazon. Tracking said delivery attempted, but failed (3 times). Never got a call, no slip. I went to purolator and they said they came thrice to my apartment.
Okey.how in the world do you expect me to know that you are waiting outside my apartment? Why dont you guys make a call or leave a slip.
I went to to purolator again and they said package is on the truck and they will attempt anothet delivery on that same day. I agreed. And they attempted a delivery except that i did not knew when they were coming to my place. They came and left and again attempt failed.do you guys expect me to stand outside at the door whole day not knowing when you guys are coming?

I went to purolator again.package is still in the truck.i asked them to get it out from the truck so that i can come next day and collect it. And i went back again next day and collected it.

If I give "0" I would. I got an email at around 11 today from the store from which I bought something. I paid for delivery and I expect delivery. An hour after the email I got an automated phone message that I could pick up my package at the the Timmons St. Depot. If I was to pick it up I wouldn't have paid delivery costs. I would have picked it up at the store. I was home. I I do not believe there was any attempt to deliver the item. I had a similar experience in August. It took 10 days for me to get the package from the first supposed delivery attempt. I have posted on FB to use other delivery options.

No idea how Purolator stay in business. Virtually every review online is dreadful. Yet again they fail to deliver, tracking says "Address correction required". Every other courier somehow manages to deliver to this address. Can't really call to correct address because it is correct, so I have to pick package up yet again, and of course Purolator is only open till 6pm weekdays, closed on Saturdays. Other couriers manage to deliver packages fine, and even when they can't for some reason, are at least open reasonable hours and days for pickup.
