My last three orders that were supposed to be delivered by Purolator:
- Marked delivered but package was nowhere to be found
- failed delivery attempt and brought the package back even though I was home all day
- Marked delivered but package was nowhere to be found

Feels like the drivers are taking home packages based on the sender name/address that appeal to them or just not delivering to certain places if it’s out of their way for the day or running late

I have no idea how they r in business, I have never dealt with them earlier since the horrible stories I have heard about it. For the bad luck I order motor oil online and this is the only courier this website deals with.
From where to start! The tracking showed pkg out for delivery then rescheduled for no reason, so I called customer service and had to wait for 35 min to get a hold of an agent when I asked if it can be dropped at door step without signature he said not possible so I asked to be scheduled for Friday so I am home.
On Thursday (one day before the scheduled delivery) an attempt to deliver to my house was made and of course no one was there, I got a note to collect from their point and it will be there for 5 days.
I thought to save myself the time to call customer service to argue why not to stick to schedule and just go to collection point and collect it over weekend.
When arrived there I gave the agent the note and she spent sometime inside and came back to tell me the pkg is on the move again and when I asked why her answer was since I called to schedule on Friday it returned to hub for reschedule.
I was in furious at this moment cause they didn't stick to the scheduled time and now they are taking this as a new event to keep the pkg going on forever after the fact that it's Thier mistake.
When I asked wat is the solution as this will go to my house on Monday and no one will be there again and answer just go to the hub in another city or wait to delivery failed msg on Monday and come back here again next week!
I drove to the next city just cause I had to really change my oil this weekend and guess wat! It's not there too!
"So how to make the driver leave it at my door step without signature? ! There gotta be a way thru system" and again answer was"not possible but u can leave a note on ur door "which I have done and for the third Time the driver ignored it and took the pkg back.
I had to go to collection point for 3rd time to collect it, about 2 weeks, 1 hr of calls and over 50-60km on my car just to collect motor oil pkg.
If less than star is available I would grant this service.

They rarely deliver at my door although I work from home. Month of October their male attendant at the counter at is rude, condescending and doesn’t know how to explain their services! No customer service at all!

Bad service. They could not find a very prominent address and didn’t deliver my passport. Also no explanation why they could not find the address

Maybe your drivers should use common sense instead of their back up cameras on the trucks to park if they want to be heroes getting as close to your vehicle as they can. Especially when they're wearing "Coke Bottle" glasses! Truck 21618087 Friday May 26th, 3 pm. A liability if I've ever seen one!

Horrible Delivery / Courier Service. On February 14th 2023 I stayed at home to receive my delivery; which was being made by Purolator from the Burlington Centre. At approximately 10: 40 AM I was in my basement when I heard a noise at my front entrance door. I went to the door just in time to see the delivery person DRIVING AWAY. A "Sorry we missed you" notice had been stuck to the glass of my door. When I removed the notice I saw that I now have glue to remove. The notice noted the date but 'conveniently' the time section was blank (no entry made). The notice advised that my package could be picked up the NEXT DAY after 5: 00PM in Waterdown, (necessitating me having to wait a day for my parcel and then I must drive into town to retrieve it). I contacted PUROLATOR and filed a complaint. I required the assistance of the Purolator CSR to obtain the tracking number because the delivery person had scribbled the tracking number on the form in such a manner that TWO (2) of the digits were indecipherable to read. The CSR explained that the delivery person WOULD NOT return to deliver my parcel. She also provided me with an alternate delivery option, (leaving at my back door at some later date), but I declined. The delivery person could not be relied upon to make the delivery to the front door so I have no confidence that the delivery could be made competently to the back door. Before I contacted Purolator's CSR I tested my door bell at the front door - it worked just fine. The only positive aspect of this experience was that the CSR was polite, helpful in obtaining the tracking number and attentive. She also asked me if she wanted someone from the Burlington Centre to call me. I declined as a telephone call wouldn't change a damn thing - as I still have to wait until TOMORROW AFTERNOON and then DRIVE TO TOWN to receive my package.hopefully.

The tracking showed my shipment was out for delivery on the truck "IN Burlington' from 7am to 5pm. Then just after 5pm the status was updated with a 'Delay Due to Weather'. The weather in Burlington (where the truck was all day long) was absolutely beautiful outside! So this had absolutely nothing to do with previous weather delays or weather issues in other areas, as good old Daphne from the excuses department would have you believe.

Front desk person is quite rude in regards of giving directions and information. Showed aggression towards multiple customers while the people were calm and asking simple questions.

Poor customer service at the location in mainway. I asked for a receipt for my records for the package I was returning. I was told no. It would show up in my account. In 10 minutes it’s been 30 minutes and nothing is showing. Girl didn’t put the package in there he bin. This is the first time this is happened. I now wait to see if my package is actually sent. Wasn’t sure Ben busy.: terrible.

The employees at this Purolator location are friendly and knowledgeable about shipping. There is a drop box located outside of the building so if it is after hours you may still be able to drop of return items with prepaid labels. There is limited customer parking which can be a problem at certain times of the day.

The phone service was terrible as most are. It was a 15 minute wait just to speak to anyone at 7: 30pm on a Friday night. I wasn’t able to get through before I arrived but fortunately I was able to send back my Amazon package without issue and the employee, young lady with blonde hair and glasses was great.

How long can a package take. Its been to so many different sorting facilities in the past 3 days and its “estimated arrival date” was today. You would think a small package would take a couple days, especially when its coming from Toronto. Its been 5 days already.like bruh, are you serious right neow.

Had to drop off a package.

Front desk? Great help. They had tape available which was useful to help seal up the box on site. Was given the package envelope as well to attach to the box.

Only reason I'm giving 4 stars? The parking is awful. Pretty tight around the lot. Only parking was at the far far back side. Makes quick drop offs really hard to do.

This is my worst experience with any shipment. The driver didn’t ring the bell nor knock the door. Just reported recepaient is unavailable. Calling the customer service was even worse experience. They talk like machines and no acknowledgement of customer’s concerns. Very low quality courier service

I dropped off an Amazon return package at this location. The lady didn't scan it and said I was good to go. Even after waiting a week, the return status didn't change, which normally updates within a few hours. I had to file a complaint to Amazon for my refund.

First, the good;
The package I went to pick up was a fast and painless chore- in and out in 5 minutes.
The not so good;
I had recieved a phone message saying if it was not picked up that day it would be sent back to the sender as they left a call tag at my residence.
That, they did not do, I had no idea I had a package ready for pick-up.
Also, the employee behind the counter seemed pre-occupied, yet the gentlemen who came in after me was greeted with a huge smile.

Purolator is a great shipping company, they are quick and lunctuate. My only disappointment was that I was in an emergency and needed to pick up my shipment the same day they had it from the sender and they refused. They did send it the next day as early as they could, which is nice if them, but still, they had it and didn't allow me to pick it up, which is not understandable for me.

They used to be accommodating but now with the new team member working on closing I believe she closes the system earlier than it used to be. I understand there is a sign for cut off times posted but with the previous regular staff, they worked their best to make our parcel go out as much as possible even pst cut off time. Just my own experience, no offence.

Easy pre-label drop off. Asked for a receipt. No arguments from the cleric like at a different courier company. No line up.

Don't deliver it but claimed they missed it. Generally I have found they cheat on delivery and ask to pickup. Purolator and Ups both has very bad delivery person. Even during business hour they don't pickup phone and had to go inside for pickup. I hate this courier company. If I could, I would have given it negative star.

This is not a pleasent experience. They neither give a time frame for delivery nor call you when/before they arrive. Today, I was in backyard just found a note on my front door saying that I have to pick up myself from Purolator. So what is the meaning of online delivery? I was trying not to go to a store. Absolutely terrible service. You have to be ready all the time to receive your package, it is all your problem if you didn't hear the knock and yet they will not attempt to deliver second time. Purolator, please improve your service. I would be happier if I would get my package directly from Best Buy.

I was called and told the driver couldn't find my address. The driver didn't leave a message and I was told I would not receive my package until I called back. When I called the customer service number, I was asked for a tracking number, when I said my supplier never gave me one, the customer service rep hung up on me.

The absolute worst delivery service on the planet. There's nobody worse. So bad, I will not shop with anyone who uses them. Repeated horrible experiences.

I've used purolator accidentally at least a dozen times and they've never actually delivered a package. Every time there's some sort of ridiculous "error" that requires me to walk to the purolator office, often with extra fees. No other shipping company is noticeably this bad, it was this bad when I lived in a different city and many of my friends and family in different parts of Ontario have had the same issue. Purolator sucks.

During these uncertain times, Purolator has been one of the few certainties. Taking in many deliveries of products over the last couple of months, we are grateful for the shipping tracker and the no need for a signature. Your drivers' professionalism, quick smile if we happen to see them through a window and their willingness to give us a quick knock on the front door, which we keep sanitized for them, has been appreciated. Thank you to the drivers to our location and to all other Purolator staff who keep these deliveries coming to our home.

Very bad service. The driver couldn’t deliver the package after waiting for 1 week. I mentioned to call my mobile in the order but what they said is driver’s phone did not work so he did not deliver. They told package will be delivered after two more days. If you want to send ur package in a strict timeframe do not reply on them.

I received excellent customer service from the driver who delivers in Waterdown. After receiving a delivery attempt notification on my door from a different driver, she went above and beyond to contact the driver and arrange delivery for the package that I needed. Thanks very much!

Love purolator. As promised they delivered a package over night. As opposed to canada post who couldnt make their "priority" post service. What should have been 3 days turned out to be over a week. Stick with purolator!

Ordered from best buy was advised of next day delivery. I received an email update saying driver attempted to deliver at 7: 07pm. I was home with my kids. There was no knock on the door. No one rang my door bell. And there wasn't even a door hanger to prove he had even been there.
Spoke with customers service who only knows how to apologize. They cannot offer any reasonable fix. I was offered for them to "attempt" delivery again in two days or I can pick it up next day at their depot which is further to go than if I had just gone to the store to purchase it in the first place. Ridiculous! Will never order from any place that uses purolator again.

What is the point of delivery service if the driver drop by your house without certain time frame and doesn't call. Instead he leaves a card so you have to go and pick it up from thier store! When calling customer service they seem to know that it is a common problem and they answer that we don't give our drivers the customer phone number. This doesn't make any sense and no point in delivery service that cost me all this confusion and phone calls to get my order. If you want to deal with them you have to stay at home for 2 days waiting for driver to knock. Don't go to work or stay longer in bathroom as you will have to pick it up urself
Edit: I rescheduled the shipment for next day and was home all day and gave customer service on system 3 options. The shipment hasn't come either. I had to pick it up myself Thanks for your nice words over the phone and here but this was waste of time and effort and my target of dealing through you not achieved8

Had a large item picked up in Calgary, then arrive in Burlington 4 days later. Online setup was a breeze. I missed the home delivery, but pick up at Depot was ez. I have used the other large couriers but Purolator rocks!

Went to pick up a parcel this evening, NASTIEST WOMAN at the desk to deal with. Said I had a parcel to pick up, she asked for a tracking number, I said I didn’t have one but I have my drivers license and address? Starts yelling at me “WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO WITH THAT, I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU EXPECT ME TO DO!? !? ”I actually put my hands up and backed away from the desk & asked her to calm down she was so angry.said sorry I wasn’t provided a tracking number. “Well when was it attempted? ” She asked. I said Wednesday or Thursday. “Well what is it, where’s it from!? ! Amazon, toys are us, what do you want me to do? ! ” As she keeps getting irritated and asking me over and over, I calmly keep telling her amazon as she isn’t even listening. Still keeps asking for my name and where package is from without even stopping to let me answer her question. Storms off eventually without saying anything and comes back with my package.

Would never in MY LIFE deal with my own customers like this, especially when it was completely unprovoked! Will never, ever be returning here again and you should think about retraining your employees in customer service, and apparently anger management.

Pretty upset as I have an important job to do today, had a package rushed down overnight for today and here at 230pm at the desk they will not give me my package, that is in their shipping department/warehouse. I am overly upset and now because their truck was late I am losing out on over 3000 dollars worth of work that was to be finished this evening as the customer cannot wait, thanks for the amazingly poor service you give your customers I'll be motivated to never have anything delivered to my business or from my business ever again through purolator, awful awful customer service
