Have had two phones that were supposed to be delivered in the past week. The first time, they gave barely any notice, attempted to deliver once and then sent my package 40 minutes away to be picked up. I requested to have it redelivered (which was a pain in itself). Managed to be home the day it was going to be delivered and the driver explained it was because it was a high value item. Fine. So then there was an issue with the phone and I needed a replacement. I kept my eyes on the estimates for delivery like a hawk. I could be home any day as long as I knew. Got the notice that said it would be delivered on Thursday. Great. Made plans for Wednesday. Got home Wednesday only to find I’d missed it again and they’ve sent it to a depot 40 minutes away. So I think, I’ll make the trip Friday when I have a bit of time. It’s closed Fridays and Saturdays (? !). The phone company is one frustration, but Purolator has topped even that. Abysmal.

The worst delivery drivers in the province - been toying around with me for a week, they don't even attempt to drive up to the house, they just put missing address. Absolute garbage.
Filing a formal complaint with BBB for this location and advise everyone else to do the same.

Saw the driver sat on the truck and leave…. This is the only sipping and delivery company that strays from delivering. The customer service told me to either wait 1-2 days for a re-delivery or go pick it up. So of course I can’t trust them to deliver anything since it’s the 5th time they managed to not even leave a card or knock on the door. If you want an expensive shipping company that provides tracking and does not deliver purelater should be your choice. By the way my two box package was separated somehow and I could only pick up one out of the two. And the other might take days to be available for pickup.

I’d give Purolator a negative amount of stars if I could. How dare you attempt a delivery without ringing any doorbells when there are people in the home. To think having a full set of cars parked at the driveway was enough of a sign.
You as a company, disgusts me. Just to slap a sign in my door to pick up at the nearest depot, just to get sent home saying they have NO IDEA WHERE MY PACKAGE IS.

I'm not sure where to start with this ridiculous customer service. First, I bought a cordless electric snowblower from Costco. Paid an extra $100 to get it shipped to my house versus picking it up myself at the store. Costco ships the product with Purolator, and then on the day of delivery they said they attempted but I was home and no delivery match ever showed up. I followed up by calling Purolator and their agent promise that it would be delivered once they have two drivers to meet and deliver it due to its onerous 77 lb weight. The very same day, again email advising I must pick up this product within five business days after shipping center. So in the end, I had to travel farther than my local Costco to pick up an item I paid more for to get the convenience of home delivery.

Costco, to their credit, refunded the $100 difference due to this unfortunate hassle not of their own doing. Unfortunately I could not refund the time and gas needed to fix this due to Purolator's excessively awful level of work and customer service. I very clearly express my displeasure and hope to Costco customer service to use FedEx or UPS in the future.

Oh, and I handled the 77lb parcel into my car no problem.

I recommend to you to avoid Purolator at all costs.

Purolator is the only company that still insist on a personal handoff of every package. I AVOID using it as a delivery option whenever possible. I actively avoid shopping with companies who use them. Who has the time to sit around and wait all day? And if I wanted to drive somewhere to get something I would just go to the store. They dont understand the very concept of convenience, and the purpose of ordering online. How are they still in business?

Avoid at all costs. Trash website, service that never answers and constantly hangs up. Couriers that don't knock on your door and ask you to drive 30m to there pickup facility. I leave a note on my amazon orders now to make sure they don't use purolator.

Terrible experience with Purolator, I asked them to reschedule a delivery and they messed it up and almost sent the package back to a sender. Had to spend so much time talking to the agent on 4 occasions to fix it.

I wish there was a zero star or even negative rating that could be given to this company with their terrible "service". They record "delivery attempted" without doing it. I understand there could be 1-2 employees who dont do their job properly, but my experience with them had shown consistently that they are not interested in delivering.

Okay, I am SHOCKED that this location doesn’t have more stars!
I have had only great experiences here. The customer service is absolutely bar none. The staff here is here to help their customers and go above and beyond to make every interaction smooth. I’ve been here about 5 times and there is a solid reason why I keep coming back. It’s the stellar customer service.
An example: I had a package to return to Amazon and a code I thought I could just scan at the little machine, Turns out, I had a different type of code. The person on duty didn’t want me to go all the way home to print it out, so got me to email it to him, and then he printed it. He saved me over an hour’s worth of time just by the extra effort.
This is not the only incident like this.
Another time I witnessed a worker leave the desk to go outside and help an elderly customer with a heavy box. I’m telling you! These people at this location understand what customer service is and they excel at it just through acts of kindness.
Bravo Purolator. This location has it right.
Keep on doing what you are doing!
And thank you for teaching me how to use the kiosk yesterday… and with a smile and thoughtfulness, even though you had a line full of of customers. That line dissipated quickly with every customer satisfied and served… and that is because of how great you all are.

This location works primary with Amazon.
We did ship package to our customer in Hensall, Ontario via this location and the package ended up at Amazon return fasility in Missisauga somehow. We've opened the ticked (#17712507), but Purolator is saying that our package will be swalowed by Amazon and no way to get it back from them. I just curious, who will be paying for all those mistakes? This is pure lack of proffesionalism and attentiion. Never again will ship with Purolator. Sorry.

When I make a purchase online and get my tracking information, I'm always disappointed and frustrated to see Purolator as the shipping agent. I've never had a good experience with them, mostly being drivers claiming "no one is home" when delivering a parcel. I've caught their drivers walking up to label the door without ever having taken the package out of their truck. During my last experience, I was waiting at home for a parcel that was to be delivered that day, only to find out the next day that the parcel was damaged. When I called Purolator to discuss the matter I had to wait on hold for 45 minutes. When I finally got service they told me I was lucky to only wait 45 minutes and that most people wait 2 hours or more. He then told me that it wasn't Purolator's fault the package was damaged and that there was nothing Purolator could or would do. He offered no explanation as to why it took Purolator more than 24 hours to update the status of the item to "damaged" and why there was no communication to me that the parcel was not going to be delivered. The other carriers might be bad, but Purolator really is the worst of the worst.

What a poor service! They claimed they attempted delivery yesterday when we were inside all through and currently had to stay in the car to ensure package is delivered without any further delay. Takes close to 40minutes for calls to be picked also! I am in the car waiting for that package for almost 3hours. Just from Vaughan to Yorkland

It does not even deserve one star! Finally after many consecutive repeated bad experiences I've decided to write a review.
This is the 5th or 6th time that I am forced to drive to the Vaughan facility to pick up my package.
I have no idea if the driver has been always the same, but their at method of work is!
I am home all the time and always expecting for my package and all I see on my door is a paper "SORRY WE'VE MISSED YOU! "
All I have to say, I am fed up with Purolator! Driver don't even bother to press any door bell or knock the door. They just bring the note paper and place it on the door. I live about 40 minutes away from this pick up location. What is the point of having something that is supposed to be delivered to your door, if then you have to go and waste so much time to pick it up at their facility? !
I call them to complain, someone gave me a case number and told me the manager was going to call me within 48hrs but never did!
After this, I can tell, the problem starts right there, on the management!

What's the point of paying to have something come to your door if they don't even try to deliver your package. My brother pulled the notice off the door while your delivery driver was still on the street. That is unacceptable.

I had a horrible experience with their customer service and delivery. I got a notification from them that I had delivery, they never returned to my address. I went directly to their office I. 1550 Creditstone Rd. Customer service would not provide me with my mail and would refused to provide her name. She and her manager not provided my mail and told me to bring my under age child from school to their office because it needs her signature.

If I could give -0 star I would. I was expecting work equipment to be delivered (4 items). I was home all day and checked my email and saw that it said "attempted delivery failed". The delivery person left a sticker on the neighbor's door saying they attempted to deliver. The sticker said that they attempted delivery at 3: 18 p.m. EST on April 1st, 2022. When I actually took the sticker from the neighbor's door it was 12: 44 p.m. EST and you guessed it, still April 1st, 2022. They purposely went to the wrong designated door (the delivery notes specified which door to deliver to and the delivery person just ignored instructions). The delivery person did not even bother to call me. I called their 1-800 number and was on hold for 10 mins before anyone picked up and now I'm still on hold so that an agent can redispatch my items to be delivered. I am going to make sure my employer never uses their services anymore. AGENT on the phone was super nonchalant like im forcing him to work and all. He couldn't give me a new delivery time-frame just that the delivery will be reattempted by 8 p.m. Same day. All around very unprofessional. Do not use them.

This location, sorry the woman at the counter deserves a zero star or less. Horrible customer service. Woman at the counter is not helpful, and does not know the procedures. She lied twice to me in a matter of 3 minutes. People who don't want to deal with people should not work the counter. Will not ship with this location ever again.

I had to return some items to Amazon and was forced, on this occasion, to use Purolator. I quickly learned that if you want a receipt the return item must be made at one of Purolator’s depot. The closest to me was located 1550 Creditstone Rd. This required approximately half an hour car travel. On arrival at around 12: 30 pm on Wednesday March 16,2022, the woman behind the counter was quite rude. She saw my package and blurted out “return? ” and to which I answered yes. She then gestured for me to put on the roller where she scanned it again gestured to a machine and again blurted out “there is your receipt. ”

This treatment is in stark contrast to the courteous service usually received from a newly situated UPS store at Major Mackenzie and Yonge Street that I have usually used to make my returns to Amazon.

I will make every effort not to take any of my business to this Purolator location in the future.

Extremely poor service on behalf of Purolator. When I shop at home and expect home delivery, I do not expect to have to drive 12 kms to pick up a package. At least a 2nd attempt could be made if someone is not at home. For a company that toots "At Purolator, we go the extra mile", should figure out how and where that saying came from.

Purolator, use your brains, if you have a self serve option, make sure it comes with clear instructions, so I avoid dealing with your overworked, overstressed, and rude staff. These people are honestly god awful! Had I known my online order was going to be sent via Purolator I would have never ordered. I know now to contact the company before I purchase to make sure purolator never gets any of my business again! I have been trying to have a package delivered for a week now. The first delivery was missed because it required a signature and I was unaware it was going to arrive 2 days early. Then I phone to schedule a redelivery with a signed note for the courier to leave the package on the porch. I worked everything out with the purolator rep on the phone. The next day the package never comes. I call again, they apologize and I ask to have it delivered Sunday/Monday since I’m off work, they say it’s too short notice and tell me it Will come Tuesday. Tuesday it never comes. I speak to someone on the phone for the 4th time and they assure me it is already on a truck ready to be delivered Wednesday. Wednesday evening I arrive home after work at 6: 30 to the package still not arrived. I call again, they said it’s out for delivery and will most definitely be there before 9. No surprise here it did not arrive. When I called, customer service is closed. I have now rescheduled the delivery via virtual assistant for Friday. I honestly don’t have any hope for this company to get themselves together at all and will likely end up considering the packaged lost at the hands of purolator. Awful excuse for a company and service, a serious joke

Worst Experience Ever!

I went to today to their shipping centre to pick up a missed package delivery and the instruction is to just have a valid ID that is match with the shipping address. Unfortunately, this customer representative (or front desk people) doesn’t accept my driver’s license which has the same address with the package. She said, the person picking up the package should be the same written in the package, it’s my mom.
So I have to go back and pick up my mom, she brought her PR Card and Bank Statement which have our address and her name on it. And this lady again (I didn’t bother to get her name because of her poor customer service) said that they can’t give the parcel because the Fido/Roger’s has rules to just accept Canadian Passport or Driver’ license which have the address on it. My mom doesn’t drive and we’re only permanent resident here, so how come she will have those IDs. So we decided to just returned the package if that’s the case that we can’t get it with the proof of IDs we’ve showed that we’re living in that address, even have the same name in the ID and package!

I called Fido and asked if they have those rules that requires those specific IDs only to get the parcel and the Fido customer support advised me to call the manager of that company and get that employee fired, because Fido don’t have that kind of rules he added.

I felt disappointed, wasted time and energy even money for gas!
Probably will cancel any parcel which uses this shipping company and will warn my friends and families with this kind of people.

Driver Matt C just made my night! Delivery was missed earlier in the day at my business due to some confusion with what door was access to our company. I called Purolator and the agent on the phone was super helpful after I explained that these were suitcases I desperately needed for a trip. She paged the driver but also said she would hold them at the warehouse for pickup tonight if he could not come back. At almost 5pm on a Friday night, Matt C showed up with my packages! He even called me since he didn’t know which door to go to… I have NEVER had a driver come back from any delivery company, let alone on a Friday night! Thank you so much Matt for saving the day for me! I had a horrible day and I am almost in tears at your kindness of actually coming back to bring me the suitcases I was stressing about! You are AWESOME!

Fast and amazing service. The reviews hindered my thoughts on Purolator but my first experience with this parcel company is really great! The person who delivered my package was so down to earth and cracked jokes that really made my experience so much more enjoyable.my house complex is divided into an upper floor (where I live) and also the basement where its rented out, the delivery guy took it the extra mile to knock on both doors to ensure that my package is delivered.thank you Purolator!

June 1,2021 - I wonder how these guys are still in business, if they cannot do the one job they take your money for, and that is to deliver packages. I am writing this review after Purolator failed to deliver twice within a month. I called and wrote to customer service and after waiting for 2 days for redelivery, the package was again not delivered. The same thing happened a second time but this time I did not wait unnecessarily. I had to go and pick it up from the warehouse on both occasions. Since the package contained a passport the customer is forced to go pick it up. So the driver decided to conveniently lie about "Received Not Available" both times. The driver did not even leave a "Delivery Attempt Notice" which is common practice. So instead of picking up my passport from Brampton I had to go to Vaughan to pick them up although I had paid $30 to have them delivered. Purolator is aware of this issue as is evident from the several reviews before me and my email correspondence with them but they fail to address it, even the warehouse staff and management is so used to this that they have no shame anymore.

July 7,2021 - I have never date stamped my reviews ever but Purolator is a cut above. Forced again to go to the warehouse again to pick up yet another package which was conveniently not delivered because apparently "receiver was unavailable". Asked to speak to a manager or route supervisor to report the continued harassment with package delivery and was promptly denied. Tried to voice my concern to the person at the counter stating that I will let Amazon know not to use Purolator for delivery, she basically said "if you feel that way then please go ahead ". No apology, no shame, just out and out garbage service.

The worst in the business. Lazy delivery people that will always say "delivery attempted" but never actually attempt to deliver the item, especially if it's a bigger item. What do we expect from Canada Post right? Companies should avoid using them at all cost.

Their drivers are the most incompetent people. Like many other reviews said, they don't even attempt to deliver and claim the receiver missed the delivery. I called customer service at least 5 times by now. Of course the delivery is beyond their reach, however, it's mainly the drivers I blame regarding the terrible service. I had no issues with any other courier services only Purolator. If there's a way to choose your courier, avoid Purolator.

I have had back-to-back terrible experiences with Purolator now. First was a tv guaranteed to be delivered by Dec 24 2020. No signature required yet the delivery driver did not leave the package. The knock on my door would have been silent because my place is only 1 room big.

The second instance was for a gaming chair. This delivery status was DELIVERED but the driver took my package back to the depot without my signature again. I have made ~10 calls (each with ~20min wait times) to sort this, while trying to use their online chat support. Each call only lead to the same outcome (being told my package was indeed delivered, and later conceding it was not, just to tell me to wait longer). It has been 2 weeks since the order was made and 1 week since the package was supposedly delivered.

My experience with UPS has far exceeded this. I have had lost/late shipped packages with UPS but was given great customer service in comparison to Purolator. This is a review against this exact depot and Purolator as a company.

0 stars. If you live in an apartment and you have Purolator for free shipping, do yourself a big favour and request to pick it up from their distribution yourself. Address correction required 3 times in a row and insisted my entry code didn't work. My status kept showing entry code incorrect 3 days in a row. Pretty sure this would have gone on for a month if I never did something about it. They never even tried to contact the recipient to complete the delivery. Watched my entrance all day, never even saw a truck pull up in the entrence at the time of my status change. Save yourself some time and pick it up yourself from their warehouse.

I've had this company deliver multiple packages from BestBuy and I've noticed that over the years they have gradually improved. On December 2020 I had the courier who delivered my packages wait for me to come outside my house to grab my parcels (I had a lower back injury and it took me a while to move around) and I just wanted to say that he was very considerate. Just today at 2: 33 p.m. The driver (who was wearing glasses) delivered my parcel and was very professional. He even shared his excitement over the product that I had ordered. I hope to continue to use this delivery service, please continue doing an awesome job.

The driver that delivers to transit city condos by vmc does not even get out of the car to attempt deliveries (confirmed by concierge). Many residents at my building have had the same issue with the same driver. Depriotized them for Amazon deliveries as I had to cancel my order because despite requesting a 3rd re-delivery the driver has falsely marked the shipment as refused for a 3rd time (Was home every day and never got a call or knock or a notice of delivery). The agent spoke directly to the driver and nothing was delivered despite him promising a re-delivery. This ordeal lasted 3 weeks after the initial "delivery" until I cancelled it, so over a month from ordering. Never had such an issue ordering from Amazon but only with Purolator. Horrible service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Just like many others here, made an order via Amazon with 2 day delivery (Prime). Package was shipped via Purolator and there was "an attempted delivery" to my office at 4: 53pm. I have 6 people at the office, which is located on the 1st floor of the building, with my windows overseeing the whole parking lot (I can see every car coming in and out). There were no delivery attempts. The driver was just lazy and my delivery was just out of his way, so he scanned it to be delivered the next day.

Hate this courier service out of all of them and that says a lot. Every other service has more than 1 delivery attempt, and Purolator has zero. They don't even ring the doorbell or even walk to the front of the door! They sit in the driveway to write the slip and slap that on the door (I have a camera system). What is the point?

I had 2 deliveries from Purolator in the last 2 weeks, and neither of them are successful. What's worst is the pickup location is at Vaughan, which is 20km away, what a utter waste of time.

Yet another bad experience with Purolator. I thought I share this cause I think this is yet a new method to avoid delivering a package.
Order was with same day shipping from Amazon Prime. On day of delivery nothing was done - not even a sticker. When I checked the tracking site the reason for non-delivery was due to "Address not correct/not found". This address been used for years for Amazon orders including orders shipped by Purolator. With this creative excuse the driver doesn't even need to leave a sticker. In fact doubt they even drove in the neighborhood. Customer service didn't offer any explanation for this - simply suggested to attempt delivery next day or for me to pick up at depot. I will asked Amazon to completely de-prioritize Purolator on my account so I don't have to use them again.

Delivery man didn't ring the doorbell or knock on the door. Just left a "sorry we missed you" slip. Luckily I heard his truck doing a U-turn and driving away. I had to scream and chase after him to get my parcel. Unbelievable service. We pay for shipping fees so a parcel can be delivered to a recipient. Not for the parcel to be returned to a shipping center for the recipient to pick up.

Poor experiences with Purolator have been well documented throughout the internet. For a company to still consistently recieve poor reviews says that Purolator still hasn't looked into lazy and unreasonable practises.

I would not recommend Purolator.

They emailed me "attempted delivery at 5: 51pm.
I was waiting the item at home all day.
I have dog who barks when somebody near to my home. I never heard my dog barking.
I am sure that the driver lied without visiting my home.
I could not find any notice in my door but email said that look for the notice for next step.
It doesn't make sense.
The driver works for purelator Vaughn depot.
I guess company need to train driver.
They do not have basic mind.

Always had great experiences here.try to go during off peak periods. Keep in mind it will be busier during holiday seasons and such, so the wait time or line up can be long. Plan ahead if you can, and you'll avoid the crowd.

The worst experience I have ever had with a delivery company ever. And I also blame Amazon. From reading reviews there are multiple people with the same complaints. Item was due yesterday (Thursday). I even buzzed the delivery person into the building. They never showed yet marked the item as delivered. Called Purolator and they promised it would be here today. Now when I look online it says they will contact me to schedule a delivery. Of course I never heard from anyone. Now I am being told the earliest it will arrive is TUESDAY. I told them I don't trust them to deliver it so I want to pick it up tomorrow. Was told no promises but continue to check online for it an update. What an absolute joke of a company. This is not the first time I have had an issue and it just screams lazy workers to me. They don't want to make the effort or even leave a delivery slip. Just infuriating. I will cancel orders in future rather than wait for Purolator to never show up. Shame on Amazon for even using them as an option.

Walked in this morning with notice to pick up left on my door and my drivers licence on hand and the the lady at the desk first of all had a huge attitude and didnt even want to go check for my parcel and told me my parcel had gone back to sender and then asked for her to go back and verify that and do she she did while i waited for 10 minutes and came back saying that my licence had a different address then I replied it was my business address and then she demanded to see my business card. I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she brought me this ignorant worker whom I doubt had any customer service skills or a BRAIN and started mouthing off that rules this rules that but i said i brought my pick up notice and drives licence clearly proving my identity beyond any doubt but the ignorant idiot still said " IT WAS MY OPINION". The gall on this dude.

Who hires people like that so confused and clearly not meant for the job they were hired to do.

Avoid this location at all cost and it will be better to boycott PUROLATOR alltogether.

I already called the Operations VP of Nikon to advise him to stop dealing with them or lose my business forever and I refused to accept anything from Purogators.

BTW it was my 3rd time i had issues with said useless company.

The only courier in Canada that cannot deliver but getting paid. They can manage to put a note on our lobby for a missed delivery but cannot go on to your door. I called the representative and ask why they didn't call me.i am at home all day.i am more than happy to get my package on their delivery truck if they do not want to do their job because they will getting paid anyway. Guess what reply i've got? I was told that their lazy delivery guys doesnt have a mobile phone. I mean seriously.come on.who does not have a phone nowadays. I have my address and mobile phone number on the package.

So i have to travel for almost an hour just to get my things to a place where i never been.a double bus fare and another 12 minutes walk. Lesson learned: If i need some delivery service i will avoid this company PUROLATOR to save myself the stress.

Has to be the worst courier in the history of couriers, EVERY delivery is a complication, you call and update information, check 24 hours later and it's not updated. You give them delivery instructions and they flat out don't even look at it, I ALWAYS have to end up going to the pick up centre, ALWAYS! I wish I could give you guys zero stars.

Was expecting a delivery to be made on a specific date for my business. Updates seemed to come through showing promise that it would arrive on time. Then unexpected, received an update saying that further directions are required to complete the delivery! Beware using Purolator! These guys literally live in the stone age and do not know how to use a GPS or have a mobile device that contains a map application. Either that, or the driver was lazy (most likely scenario) and found the location out of his/her way despite his day ending in 3 hours from when he was located in the area. Now, I'll have to go to the pickup center and spend a whole lot of time getting there, waiting there, and getting back. Never again will I go with Purolator for my business as this has happened way to often. They cannot be relied upon. Save yourself the frustration and go with another delivery service, please!

If I could give zero star, I would. All my life I tried to avoid this company whenever there is another shipping option. This company is beyond horrible. The only time I got my package was when I caught the driver red-handed leaving the pickup notice without even ringing the bell. He got off his truck with the pickup notice, got caught and had to go back to the truck to get my package.

The service on the day I went to pick up a parcel was awful. Everyone in line was also complaining. It's usually very good but not that day. I was very disappointed.

I did not give the goods a different delivery address and photo ID address
The photo ID name is the same as the person who purchased the item
