Had to drive 30km each side to collect my courier because they dropped in during office hours. Upon requesting to re delivery I was told we cannot getting an estimated time as to when they can try to redeliver. 9- 5 is a pretty wide window to be waiting. When you’re working. Also, pickup available on Saturdays but no delivery. Disappointed!
3 stars because the customer service (on call) was apologetic and provided the best option she could at the time. Please improve your delivery methods. Hoping to come back and give a better rating if improvement are seen.
PS not going to respond to system generated responses that I have been reading in the comments

Very impressed with Purolator’s customer service. Had an issue with a driver and the supervisor was fantastic with following up.

Only delivery service that refuses to deliver to my apartment. They don't even leave the delivery slip in a private area, just slap it on the lobby door. Always have to pickup from their wildly out of the way shipping hub. I now cancel any orders that attempt to ship through them since I'll just have to drive out and pick them up anyways.

The delivery guy did not try to contact me what do ever to deliver my package. But still continued to say I was not there yet I was. I went to pick my package up at the warehouse and they told me it was not there. Not the first time I’ve had problems they are the WORST. Definitely won’t be using again.

After waiting around the house to receive my package which requires a signature, I come outside and on the phone door I have a slip saying " sorry we missed you " and I can pick up my package at the Purolator store in barrie. At that time there were 3 of us at home and 2 dogs, now if someone knocked on the door or rang the door bell we would have known right away. Clearly that did not happen. I call Purolator to inquire and it's met with attitude. Never use Purolator.

Worst service in the world, have had my packages for 3 days, they have entered false info into tracking, have never actually attempted a deliver, latest "attempt" driver could not find address but also indicated he had made a deliver attmept.my only recourse, re-schedule deliver with no guarantee they will actually do it or request a hold with sketchy info on when I can pick up. One star is way over rated!

The logistics manager needs to understand distance and time. Asking EG residents to pick up from this location is insane. No one is driving 70km to pick up a $20 package. This is the worst courier company I’ve ever experienced.

When I tried to trace my package, I can see last they scanned about a week ago. And it is on the vehicle for delivery. That’s package is in my city eventhogh I haven’t got that. Monday I talked to them and they assign my case to tracing specialist. But I have not got any response from her. It’s been almost week. I paid them for express shipping and they treat like I paid for ground shipping. When I called them again I got same answers all time that their team is still investing. And they transferred my called to specialist but she didn’t receiver my call any time and never tried to contact me back. Worst experience with them. When I asked them for my refund they are saying contact to the person who delivered that to you and ask them for refund. Why do I need to ask the person who delivered as they sent me my package and even I paid that amount for the shipping.

Ordered 4 rims, missed the driver on Thursday, went in Friday to pick up and 3 were back on the truck and one in the warehouse, asked service Rep to hold all 4 for me to pick up, came in Monday and there were 3 rims in the warehouse and one on the truck. Service Rep didn't empathize or offer any solutions except for me to stay home on a workday to receive my order. Apparently all managers leave at 4 and there is no way to contact the drivers or know their whereabouts. Immediately treated like a Karen right from walking in the door Monday and they played the victim card hard. There are so many layers of incompetence at this location, the driver doesn't know how to use a scanner, the first cashier on Friday can't use the computer and the second cashier just lacked any problem solving skills or any attempt on her part to do anything other than the bare minimum.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with. My parcel had the wrong address labeled for some unknown reason.and so I asked them to change it not knowing it would take MORE days to deliver it. Then I called and explained the medical emergency I was having and why I needed this parcel rushed and so they said okay we will rush it.well 10 hours later Purolator is closed and I am without my parcel and now face a huge problem for tomorrow due to the ignorance. This company is going to have a huge problem if I become sick due to the negligence of their customer service.

Would give 0 stars if i could i would like to know why the driver is allowed to lie and falsely say they tryied to deliver a package i was sitting outside all day and yet twice i get missed delivery notice when there was no truck even on my street. If the driver put the address in there gps it would have been here

Extremely lucky to get my package at all taking a week in spite of two trips to the Purolator depot, multiple phone calls (with lengthy waits) and "chats". No one seems to be communicating with anyone else and gross incompetence overall.

Ordered a bed and it’s delayed cause of their own issues been told it’s out for delivery next day twice still no bed over 500 they don’t care what so ever terrible service.

Amazon order delayed! No explanation on Amazon site, delivery date pushed…ok, that’s fine. 3 days later no update, same Amazon tracking info “delayed”. Finally decide to check the Purolator site to determine “delayed”. Overweight is causing delay (64 lbs) ? Anything over 50 lbs is considered overweight and must be delivered with 2 people or with specialized equipment.
I have ordered many items over 50 lbs and this is the first time I’ve encountered delays.
The least Purolator could do is post this in the tracking info, “possible 4 day delivery delay due to overweight”. Would have saved me a couple of hours of being on hold with support for an explanation.
*Update* 2 young gentlemen from Purolator showed up, the same day to deliver the overweight package, which I then took from them, (oh be careful, it’s heavy!) brought it in the house and up a flight of a stairs by myself.
Still leaving two star review, because if I hadn’t called to figure the delay out, I’m sure the delay would’ve been longer.

I literally DREAD every time I find out a package is being delivered by Purolator. It's like they see my address and their brains stop working. I live above a business downtown and they don't even bother. Rarely do I even get an attempted delivery notice. I've never had a package delivered to my by them without some sort of issue.

This week, a package went out for delivery then there was an issue with my address. We called and "fixed" it. The next day, it went out for delivery and never stopped being out for delivery. Asked them to hold it. It still says it's out for delivery?

Terrible had to travel round trip 1.5 hr. To pick up pkg. They only tried once to deliver. Also could not contact by phone stayed on phone line 1hr. Also tried online help they were no help just went round in circles. So basically I did the delivery for them as I had to go to Barrie to pick up pkg Plus the note on the door hanger card said I could pick up on the 12th when the delivery was for the 7th Why should I have to wait 5 more dsys to go to depot to pick up my pkg? I took a chance & went up to Barrie to get my pkg.the next day as tracking said it was there. Plus why could you make me wait an additional 5 days when it was available. Not impressed with service, basically I did my own delivery I should get paid for my gas & my time.

Who is working there? ! This is my third package with the same issue:
“Receiver moved”! I’m home 24 hours for gods 7 day per week! They didn’t call me to let me know that they have any problems with delivery; they did not left any notice on my door; they did not even tried to ring the door bell! There is a new car at the front of the house, boat and trailers, even garden lights and the fresh grass cut - does it looks like a house that was moved out?
5 days extra waiting for their unprofessional mistakes. Why the UPS delivered 16 packages in the past two months and never ever got any issues? ! Why I have all of my other packages delivered on time with Amazon and even Canada Post without a single problem? This is the worst delivery service I have had experience in my life. And not only me - my neighborhood complaints about the same delivery workers who’s not able to find their houses too or putting the same note/moved out.
Hire someone more professional to do their job and not to waist company’s money for 5 unsuccessful deliveries!
Do not use their services!

Very happy with the service. The employee named Michelle S.from the Barrie Purolator office, who picked up my package was so nice and kind with me and even re-did the package as I forgot to add something to the package at first. Great work Michelle! The employe right on time to pick up the package too! Good service!

The worst company ever they tried to deliver my parcel 4 time but my adresse wasn’t correct no body called me i passed 1h on the phone waiting to get someone to speak with to change my adresse and finally he said he change my adresse but the next day unable the get the delivery (wrong address) when i contact them again the person said no one change the address so im still waiting for my percel in nothing happened

I missed the delivery according to the attempted delivery note incorrectly dated the day prior. I used the bot chat window to request a reattempt at delivery for next day. No redelivery. Just a note on the parcel history to pick it up at the depot. The whole point in requesting another attempt at delivery was because I don't have a car to drive to the depot. Why the eff did I pay for delivery if I have to drive an hour round trip to pick it up? !

We had a large parcel scheduled for drop off and although home all day did not hear a doorbell ring The driver left notification on the door to pick up the parcel in Barrie but did not complete the date and time that it would be available. After traveling to Barrie to pick up the unit I was informed that it was there but it was in the back and I couldn't have it yet cause it wasn't processed and they don't process anything on the weekend. Nice service folks.

I understand that they are very busy right now, but that is no excuse for the horrendous customer service I have received. I have been tracking my shipment, yesterday it was on the vehicle for delivery, and then at 6: 00 pm it's suddenly "Unable to be delivered". Delivery time is until 9: 00 PM. After multiple attempts, I was finally able to connect to someone via their chat. I was told "the driver must have missed it, it will go back out tomorrow" I asked if the tracking information would be updated and was told yes. 11: 00 am this morning, no updated information. Connected to another agent (Shauna H.) who told me it's on the truck and will come today, but since it's the same truck, they can't update the tracking information. I asked where it was now and what time it's coming. "Delivery time is between 8: 00 am and 9: 00 pm" I asked why at 6: 00 pm it was unable to be delivered since there were still 3 hours left. "yes sorry, will attempt today" and then she closed the chat, leaving half my questions unanswered. I reconnected again (Linda G this time) and before I even got into anything I asked her to confirm that she would not leave the chat without answering my questions. "Please ask your question I am here to assist". She ends up telling me it's not on the truck, and won't be coming today. WHAT IS GOING ON. HOW DO YOU ALL HAVE DIFFERENT INFORMATION. I asked multiple times where the package is now, when the tracking information will be updated, and why it didn't get delivered yesterday. Basically she said they're really busy (obviously, I'm not an idiot, and had the customer service been better I wouldn't even be upset that the package wasn't here yet). She tried to tell me that I must have spoken to the first agent before it got scanned unable to deliver. NOPE. Why would I contact regarding it being unable to deliver if that wasn't there yet.give your head a shake. She then told me to keep tracking it online (after I've said twice that the information isn't updated and asked her to confirm that it would be now) and never answered why it wasn't delivered yesterday when it was already out. The last message says "I have instructed you to continue to track your package for updates and keep in mind there are delays at this time. Thank you. " AND THEN SHE ENDED THE CHAT. I AM DISGUSTED. I guarantee that I will never be using Purolator for my shipments going forward.

They claimed I signed for a package and I did not. The driver foraged a signature that looks nothing like mine. The driver did not even knock. I was home all day and we have a dog that would have barked her head off if someone touched the door. Whats worse is only half the order arrived. Been on hold for 30 minutes and wish I could just contact this location directly. Terrible service.

I'm sorry but you folks are a bunch of clowns. I ordered a treadmill off Amazon. It made its way from Calgary, AB to the facility in Barrie. At that point, you lost it and Amazon had to send another shipment. I don't live that far away from the facility and wanted to make arrangements to come and pick it up personally rather than have you screw up at delivering it within the same city, but of course no one answers your phone after 30 minutes on hold.

How does a shipment make its way Alberta to BARRIE, and then got lost in the final leg of the journey such that another shipment has to be sent all over again from Alberta? This makes no sense. EVERY experience I have had with Purolator has been similar horrendous and incompetent.

Package is over a week late and it seems like they are actively trying to get you to come pick it up yourself from this facility.

When trying to get a hold of someone to figure out where the package is or when it will be arriving Purolator states they don’t know because they gave it to a third party for delivery. When asked for contact information for said third party they tell you they can’t give out that information or even identify them.what a joke

The reason I use shipping is because I can’t or don’t want to go to the store! If I need to come to your location to pick up my package than I might as well go to the store then. Also why aren’t you open on the weekends? When it would be easier to come pick up the package that was supposed to be left at my door!

Amazon shipping, UPS, FEDEX, Canada Post they all leave the parcel in front of my door and all is perfect.

Deliveries were attempted around 3pm on weekdays. Am I supposed to stay home by the door to wait for the delivery guy! It seriously defies the purpose of using you guys if I need to be present to see the delivery person.

At least attempt deliveries after 5pm and give ppl a chance to drop everything: baby, shower, work and run to the door hopping to make it before the driver dashes away!

The package was shipped with very clear instructions to leave it at the door and skip the signature required part. They didn't leave it when they tried delivery on the Saturday. I had to go get it from the depot on the Monday. I needed the package for the weekend so I wasn't to impressed.

My friends passport got delivered in some other address she was expecting the delivery the whole day it didnt turn up and the guy who lived 2 streets away from us delivered the next day. Nice gesture of that man

Amazon package was apparently unable to be delivered through Purolator due to an "incorrect address. " I double checked - the address is correct. I've never had issues with Amazon deliveries to my address when deliveries were through UPS or Canada Post. Live chat feature on the website is useless - after getting through the automated questions, I was unable to type any further. There was never a live chat representative on the other end, despite it being within their posted live chat hours. I tried calling Purolator, but have been on hold for a while now.

Terrible service! Signed up for updates only to not be informed that my package shipped or given an expected delivery but instead an attempt to deliver failure notice. Given a next day delivery notice, took the day off work and waited until 6: 00pm! No delivery. Contact text support, they claim the driver couldn't find the house (our house is four feet from the road and has the house number on it in TWO places). Call customer service, they claim it was 'put on the wrong truck' and will deliver it the next day. So end up driving to the depot to pick it up myself. And no one cares. They can't explain what happened. "Maybe the truck broke down" they say - Yeah and maybe space aliens abducted the driver. You have one job Purolator - TO DELIVERY PACKAGES! It's like a restaurant not having any food. Will never use their service again, or order from businesses that use it. Two thumbs WAY down!

I wouldnt even give them this but can't go any lower. Had to you use because of best buy. Couldn't deliver my TV in four days after it left barie depot. Two of them they used weather conditions at 5: 10 pm. Hmmm snow was all of one inch?
Next excuse they delivered to wrong address. Phoned customer service. Again next day still didn't deliver package.
What is use of customer service if they screw you. Most incompetent company I have every dealt with.

STILL have NEVER received a single delivery from Purolator. Have currently been waiting on a delivery from Amazon by Purolator for 4 days.always gets marked "delivery delay due to external factors" despite me calling at the end of day 3 to complain.and it happened again today! All packages shipped to me via Purolator from now on will get returned to sender. I am DONE with this completely useless company!

Driver likes to make up reasons not to deliver forcing
us to drive 20km to pick up. Couldn't even bother to leave a notice. So happy I paid exorbitant shipping fees for no reason. Again.

Waiting all day for an important package. Nothing. At 5PM I login to check the status, it says failed delivery. I was in front of my driveway all day, NOONE showed up. What a bunch of clowns.

Multiple times they don’t give a clear indication when packages will be delivered, they only attempt 1 visit and make you drive 35km to nearest location to pick up. UPS and others at least give 2 attempts so you can plan accordingly. I’ve made an effort to avoid ordering from places online that use purolator now since it causes more inconvenience.

I have had a number of deliveries from my employer lately. Several years ago the service was just ok. Now that I have the same delivery driver, the service is wonderful. He is pleasant, friendly and helpful. What a great guy. I appreciate his professional and warm way of doing a great job!

Very disappointed. I took the day off of work today to receive a very large item which required a signature. At 11am the tracking information informed me that it had been delayed due to ‘weather’. It was clear and sunny ALL DAY. Zero snow. I saw three purolator delivery trucks pass my house today, so that excuse was obviously BS. Now I have no idea when this item will arrive and I have no means of picking it up should I miss delivery, as my vehicle is too small for a boxed king size mattress.

I legit saw the guy turn around at the end of my driveway and not attempt to even deliver the parcel. On the tracking website it said attempted to deliver now I have to travel 20+km to get my package. Terrible service.

Order an item and at no time is it shared with me that a signature is required. I apparently missed the delivery and now have to drive 40km each way to get it. I'm going to spend almost as much in gas as the delivery charge. Worst shipping experience I've had

This is for all Purolator,
I never had an experience where I have had purolator ever deliver a package to my door or sometimes even a slip. They just say in my tracking that they try to deliver. I have been home for all of the delivery days waiting and taking by the way a day off work for a package. I order delivery, looking out the door every couple hours, watching tv by my front door window, listening for trucks, tracking my package online until around mid afternoon, I get a notification that 2 hours ago they tried to deliver. Is there a slip last couple of times nope. So I have to call to find out that the truck has not returned and I will knkw when to pick up my package in 12 hrs. BEST delivery service ever! Whats the point for paying for express delivery if its not even going to get delivered the day you want it. I hope companies stray away from using purolator until they actually start delivering to us.

Tldr: Use another delivery service, these guys dont deliver they leave love notes.
