Had the absolutely worst possible service I’ve ever encountered in my life. I went to use the scale to send a flat package. The two women who were working there shouted instructions across the room at me while they stood behind the desk. She said take the envelope off, use the green light and scan the QR code and screamed you need to hit verify and said that over and over. I’m still in awe as to the extent of their rudeness. There were no other customers in the location. I found their behaviour appalling and their treatment of a customer was disrespectful and on the verge of abusive. I will NEVER go back to this location ever! If this is the way they treat their customers, I want no part of that. The icing on the cake was when I was done, I asked where do I put this package and she says bring it up here to me at the counter. I slid it across and walked away and then she said have a nice day. After the worst service possible, she closed my visit with a backhanded statement. I will ensure no one I know will bring their business there when looking for a courier service!

THE CLERK IS TERRIBLE! REFUSED TO RELEASE A PACKAGE EVEN AFTER CALLING HEAD OFFICE AND GOT AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE THE PACKAGE WITH AN AUTHORIZED LETTER! THE LADY CLERK IS NOT A MANAGER AND REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK TO A MANAGER! MINIMUM WAGE WORKER ON A POWER TRIP! BOYCOTT PUROLATOR! I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN! I sent a package that had to go an hour away from me.and its 2 days short of a month with no known date of delivery. This company is becoming a joke. I recommend going to UPS or even canada post, they will get the job done quicker and better.

Have had no problems with them.the weather around here has been lousy but if you email or speak with them politely they will get your delivery sent very good service.

Absolutely useless service.
I called you losers to make sure that you would buzz when you come to the apartment building. Now I have to waste 30 dollars on a taxi to go get it across the city because you people are incompetent.
The delivery guy who doesn't speak English knows how to use a buzzer system, why can't you?

Nothing ever gets delivered properly. Garbage employees and service, filing complaints almost every time a shipper uses their service. Worse enough you lost my other parcels.

Worse service I ever had, even worse than the tim hortons across the street, 2 employees standing behind the counter with the Bla bla bla, even before entering the door, no hello nothing just put my parcel on the table and they'll take care of it, W T F, NO IDEA what she was talking about. Will never use this dump again.

I recently ordered a very expensive package, and the driver put a "missed delivery" note not on my door, but my neighbor's door, telling me to go to the nearest drop off office. So I go and ask to pick up my package. To my annoyance, the lady behind the counter tells me that it's still at the warehouse. SO WHY DID I GET A MISSED DELIVERY TAG IF THE DRIVER DIDN' THAVE IT?

The tracking number says it's been delivered which is false because I don't have it.

I requested a re-delivery and they didn't send me a confirmation email saying that it's been re-delivered.

So I have no idea when I'm getting my package, or where it is. I'm Furious.

This location is very accessible to our house. My ZARA orders has been dropped here twice and the lady who accommodated me the first time remembered me. Although they're quite busy, service was fast, the ladies who worked there are very straight forward and polite. I haven't even finished stating my full tracking number, they already knew which parcel I am about to pick up.
To those who'll pick up their parcels there, just make sure you have your Identification ready for verification before they release your parcel to you.

This has always been our go-to store for fax and package services. Unfortunately their fax machine has been off-line for months with no sign of this being fixed anytime soon. We have had to move our business elsewhere.

Dropped 3 Amazon returns off last week. Girl told me to just put them on the conveyor and I could leave. I’m concerned that she didn’t scan them for return, as I’m seeing no movement through my Amazon account. Going to have to go in there and rectify this now. Waste of my time.

Had to drop off a package and, although I was the only person the store, the lady working was short and not very friendly. I had an Amazon return and she just quickly told me to drop it there. When I asked for a receipt in case there was a problem, she told me not to worry about it and I don't need a receipt. Let's hope I don't have any issues with the return.

Waited over a hour on the phone for a “marketing agent” so it’s either they don’t have any or they don’t have a lot also when I went to the address that the paper said to pick up my package there was no one at the counters for a good ten minutes on top of that when the worker came out and I said I was expecting a package they didn’t even attempt to look for it and told me to come back tomorrow

I don’t appreciate the way that old white lady talked to me. Just trying to grab my missed package with my digital address rental contract, but I don’t have the physical paper, that old lady said she couldn’t do anything about it in a very impatient way and ask me to wait for the other employee and then a young lady came and said she can set a redelivery for me, I mean why that old lady didn’t think of anything like redelivery at first time? She should think of something to help customers instead of sending them home. That young lady is very smart and the old lady is the opposite of her. Purolator has lots of work to do on training their employees well.

Purolator's delivery performance/speed has been very poor since some years.

This is evident from its reviews. I sent two packages 30 km away on Monday morning. It is Thursday night and they are still not delivered.

This Christmas I ordered a phone from Fido. It took 2 weeks and I had to go to Purolator office twice to pick it up as delivery guy never showed up at my door.

I don't often use Purolator but when I have, it's usually been this location. The staff have always been good to deal with & I've usually managed to get what I need/completed in an efficient manner. The service on the backend, however, is up for debate. More recently, I sent a return package to Amazon through this location which was picked up the next business day. The tracking number indicated it would be delivered on May 9,2022 & for whatever reason as of today (May 13,2022), still hasn't been delivered with no estimated time of delivery. I didn't expect to see this kind of trouble with Purolator. Luckily with Amazon, they can track the package too & see I've done my part, however this kind of issue would likely lead me away from using Purolator in the future to ship.

Unfortunately this company loses packages more often then they get them to the buyer/receiver. They are nice to customers but I believe they are charging WAAAY too much for shipping

Purolator apparently attempted shipping twice.

The second time I never received any phone call saying they needed to be buzzed up. I was home. My husband was downstairs with groceries at the 3: 27pm and there was no Purolator vehicle outside our building.
I waited by my phone constantly rechecking for any updates.

Just pure disappointment reading that "missed" the delivery when there was no attempt to begin with. If there was an attempt they would have left me a notice.

THERE WAS NO NOTICE. The first or second time.

I called customer service. Purolator Customer service is a joke. I tried. I wasted 20min of my life hearing mind numbing elevator music.

This is by far the worst experience in have ever encountered with any courier. I would rather Canada Post delivered my package.

Went to ship 9 boxes at 7pm and wasn't able to provide my own labelopes. The staff member working provided all 9 labelopes and also packed the slips while I grabbed the boxes and also put them on the boxes for me. Very great service Everytime I've been in but this was over the top great service.

The staff are friendly, efficient, and wonderful! When there was a long line up, someone came outside to help - where I was only dropping off, they helped me! Excellent staff - and I see them daily!

Mary was so wonderful! I missed getting my package so it went to the pick up location. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to pick it up until almost a month later and she was so accommodating and made sure to hold it until I was able to go. Amazing customer service!

If you dont want your package this is the perfect company for you.
I HIGHLY recommend you choose anyone else but Purolator, even if you have to pay. This is the worst company to be doing deliveries.

My package was to arrive on Friday - it did not arrive, on the tracker it said that the delivery address was incorrect. Surprise it was not incorrect the driver was just lazy and clearly did not care. Instead of calling my phone number that was on the package itself or (if he/she even came to my building) there is security that will accept the package. I called Purolator and they said they will ask the driver to come back but they cannot guarantee anything, I was told by 5pm hopefully it would arrive - it did not. I called Purolator again and they told me they will reach out and try to get him to deliver the package by 9pm - again it did not arrive. Both times I called I confirmed it would be delivered for sure on Monday. Well guess what it is Monday and yet again I got the same message saying my address was wrong. When I called in this time, they changed their story saying they would not tell me that nor could it be delivered today as they had to reprint the label. When speaking to a manager I informed her of the situation and that I required the package to be delivered today the manager said she would try but said most likely it will not be delivered until tomorrow. She called back and said no it will be delivered and I highly doubt she even tried to do anything.

Again do not go with this company unless you do not care about your package or when/if you get it.

I was waiting for an important delivery. I’m in quarantine, locked down in my apartment. The Driver came to my door, didn’t knock on my door or make any attempt to reach me inside the unit, choosing to leave a note on my door that an attempt was made to deliver the package. The note says I must go to the local drug store (not allowed on quarantine) to pick up my package within 5 days (quarantine is 6 days remaining) or it will be returned to sender. Ugh.

Absolutely the work shipping company. Not sure how this company continues to stay open, when they cannot deliver a package. 5 business days to deliver a package 10 km and they cannot do it. So many mistakes. No way of getting g any information on package other than, it will be delivered next business day.

3x more expensive than Canada Post. I was quoted $80 by Purolator vs $27 at Canada Post for the same delivery date. I asked the ladies working if they were more expensive than other options and they didn't give me a straight answer. The honesty would've been appreciated!

The person who delivers our packages has stolen our packages on two consecutive occasions, my wife receives a delivery message but he does not press the buzzer or knock on the door of our apartment, and my wife is there all the time since my children are in online classes. I don't understand how they can have thieves working for a delivery company.

If I could leave less than one star I would. I have many videos of the driver dropping off pre-written missed delivery notices and placing them in my mailbox - not even getting out of the truck with a item in his hands or coming up to the door. I've sent several of these videos to customer service and as they are "dealing" with one item, I'm having notices dropped off for more with ZERO delivery attempts. I'm left paying for shipping and having to make several trips now to the pick up location which is 20 minutes out of my way. Still they won't refund my shipping costs. Completely useless service.

Extremely bad customer service. I suggest to go to different Purolator, but don't go here. I like Purolator service but the customer representative at the store was really rude and unfriendly.

I understand that sometimes the day might be tough but it doesn't mean you treat the customers like your mood.

They were talking to each other and was saying that it's not a good day. When I told them that I have another Courrier that I need to send they were like "ohh god, help me"

I paid $100 for my Courrier service and at the day of the the customer service representative was behaving like I made their day worst.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!

I've been trying to get a package of medical supplies for more than a month. It has now been shipped 3 times and I still have not received it. The first time, they left me a message saying I could come and pick it up. This was 4 days after the tracking info indicated they had attempted to deliver it. No one actually attempted to deliver it and no slip was left. I don't drive and didn't really want to take a bus or cab for 20 minutes to pick this up with the pandemic. I had arranged for a ride to go and get it, but apparently Purolator only holds packages for 5 days after the attempted delivery any it had already been sent back.
I called the pharmacy to send it again and they said they would. I never received it again. I called the pharmacy again today and he said that they resent it on April 27th. It is now May 19th, definitely didn't get it. On May 4th there was a package slip left in the lobby of my apartment building. It had no name or apartment number on it and the reference number wouldn't work to track the package. Maybe that was mine? Who knows. I don't have a tracking number for this package, it is automatically sent out to me every 2 months. I was told today that they'll send it out for a 3rd time and that they'll expedite it. I should get it tomorrow, I'm not going to hold my breath!

Driver didn't even leave any document that attempted to deliver, was my neighbor who alerted me that purulator van came. People work how are we supposed to collect items? When the branch is closed on a saturday.

So irritating! Been tracking my package for the past 10 days with no updates, I signed up for text alerts and have gotten 0! I finally called today and was told it was being held at purolator upper James and has been scanned to be sent back Monday! Like I never got an email or text letting me know where my package was or I most certainly would've picked it up. No slip was left at my building when they attempted to deliver it as I was at work that day. Horrible service, now my package will be sent back all because I was never notified where it was. When I tracked it, it kept saying it was redirected but never said where. Never ordering from a place that uses purolator for shipping ever again!

I ordered a package from Amazon and I noticed that the shipping address information was changed and it was then taken to their company or wherever your supposed to collect it from, they didn't even try to attempt to deliver my package, they never left a note or emailed me, Amazon was the one that informed me where my package was and I checked the purolator website and it said it was at their place, like what? I don't even have a car, so now I have to uber all the way just to get my package and I'm broke at the moment, so wish me luck!

By far some of the worst service I’ve seen. Danielle is extremely rude. Especially in a time with covid. I’m sure she is no gem before the pandemic.

I would recommend going to another location, if not a different delivery service.

Worst customer service ever. 2 hrs on hold for customer service. Seriously.
Worst delivery outlet of the entire company.
Splitting up orders and random shipping of said orders. 7 days in their warehouse when you purchase 2 day shipping. Just absolutely awful. Never dealing with this place again.

The driver made no attempt at actually delivering my package and failed to even leave a pickup note (I was home all day), I called the Upper James location to see when I was able to pick up my package and I now have to wait until Monday after 2pm (it’s Friday) needless to say I am livid and will avoid using Purolator ever again in the future.

This is the 2nd time purolator has lost a package of mine. The customer service staff did very to assist me. I am an avid shopper and among all the delivery services, purolator is the worst. I cringe when i see the store using their services. I find the driver's lazy and quick to hang up a tag indicating that no one was home. I read some reviews where the persons were home, and purolator left a tag indicating no one was present. Unfortunately, stores continue to use their services so i will have to continue dealing with the drivers incompetence. I have mentioned this issue customer service, yet i have not seen any changes. If they are saying that these errors are inevitable and can not be avoided. All i can say is that ALL of their major competitors, none of these issues ever arises. So that shows something can be done and some changes to their practice can be implemented.

I was waiting for a package from Yamaha Canada. We live in a closed community and if any drivers from any of the delivery companies don’t have access they always leave a tag at the entrance indicating when they attempted to deliver the package and where I could pick it up. The Purolator driver on this delivery did not leave a tag. I got a call yesterday, the day of the expiration of how long Purolator holds the package for! This is unacceptable. I was not able to make time for the 30 minute each way drive to pick it up. I called today and attendant could care less and could not do anything for me. They are in different at this location. Sometimes a little rude, sometimes just a little bit short. I’m disappointed and I will be calling and speaking to Purolator directly with a complaint.

Door wide open. Home all day. Dogs that bark at every knock. A sorry we missed you slip for a very expensive package and wont be ready for pick up until next week. I 100% guarantee you the guy or girl ran up, slapped the paper on the door and ran. What people will do to avoid working.

Picked up my Amazon order on Thursday and the guy working was really friendly and helpful. My slip said my package was ready to pick up after 10 am, got there 5 or 10 minute before and was able to get it.
This was the 2nd time I picked up a package here, the staff I dealt with were great

Dont pay for extra for delivery. I need to go pick up my package at the warehouse because they didnt buzz when they apparently showed up. And i pay for delivery because i dont have a car so ill likley need to pay to cab it home too. The worst delivery service ive ever had.

The joke is they try to run away and NOT deliver the package, forcing you to pick up at their warehouse. I'd rather p/u at my post office, and amazingly, all these couriers REFUSE to deliver to a Shoppers Drug Mart PO.and when asked the reception DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE WHY.truly priceless.this doesn't serve the customer at all.
