Great customer service at this location in Pickering on Squires Beach Road no line up. As soon as I walked through the door, someone came out from the back and quickly weighed, scanned the parcel. This location is also very clean with multiple parking spots available.
There is a red button on the exterior of the building to the right of the door to activate automatic door.

Purolator consistently disappoints. Please update your policies to allow drivers to leave packages in lobbies or outside doors. You are so far behind Amazon. It’s incredibly frustrating having to deal with your services.

I had to make a trip to Purolator in Pickering for the purpose of picking up a package. According to the notice I received, the delivery driver had supposedly knocked on my door. However, I'm unsure as to how we could have missed the knock, given the two of us were home, and we even have two large dogs that are quick to bark at any knock on the door. Nevertheless, I proceeded with the journey to collect the package, which was a little inconvenient.

Upon arrival, I found only one person ahead of me in line. Fortunately, the staff efficiently handled the transaction process. The parking area was notably congested, likely due to the fact that everyone seemed to have followed the notice's instructions to arrive around 6 pm.

Driver wont even show-up at the address and then the customer agent tells me to pickup from this address. I have to drive 40 mins every time to get package from Purolator.

Very dependable delivery service. It seems like it's one of the big 3 players in my area. The only thing I find irritating is the drivers don't always ring the doorbell and end up leaving a note on my door where I have to now wait to pick up my delivery. But great problem solvers and will continue to use

Terrible service. If sending to U. S use UPS or FedEx. Purolator in U. S uses third party service to deliver (UPS). The employee at the desk put the wrong address on the paperwork, when I went back to have him correct it, he just wrote on the paperwork & said it’s ok, a new label will be printed with correct address. The package was held up in Customs and after a week it was finally released & delivered to the wrong address (a new label was not printed). My son has not received the package as of yet because it went to wrong address. I also paid for overnight delivery service, delivered before 9am. $145 that’s with 1/2 price discount for Holiday service. Never again

Asked for package to be redelivered as it required signature and we were unavailable during original attempt however this location sent package back to warehouse without notification and when I called for an update the agent was coming up with excuses and trying to blame sender.

I wish we all had choices to pickup the courier service a thing gets delivered from.

Two packages from the same place - requiring signature were sent to me. One was said as address not not, and other was marked as owner not at home - a simple knock at the door might have helped. And since the packages were being delivered to my mailing address, I stayed there from 8am to 9pm two days to find I can't get any packages from Purolator.

Now I've to go twice to their location to pickup. What a sad affair of mismanagement from the company.

And their tag line says "it's a promise. " What a joke!

Discourteous staff, vey disrespectful to customers especially seniors as I watched the seniors in front of me belittled and rudely treated as if they were idiots when in fact they were asking very pertinent questions.
As I approached for help with the stupid self serve Amazon return debacle, the staff berated me for not knowing the computer! I’m a computer programmer btw.
I am at the point of not using Amazon again for my orders as the return process is 1000 Tim’s worse than Canadian Tires Return Inquisition.
Terrible business. Obviously purolator staff are unionized and not afraid of being fired because in private business is an employee behaved as this place, they would be fired or at least removed from public contact.

I am disabled and the worker there would not assist me packing up books for return and printing the labels. I asked 3 times and the lady was stubborn and refused to help me. The instructions I have specifically stated Purolator will package the books for me when I arrive. It was a challenge for me to stand for a long time try to figure out the packaging and to try to print the labels on the poor interface. Please re train the staff at the front desk.

Friendly staff, you don't need to take printouts, they will print out label for you which is great. So total time is not more than 5 mins

Warning ️ Revised - after receiving a generic “sorry we don’t provide receipts” reply to my post from the pr team. It doesn’t change the fact the staff at this location are very short to customers. They are quick to get you out & they miss items being returned. I would suggest you stand there & watch them scan & listen for the confirmation beep then leave. The last thing we need is to contact amazon customer service for my missing refund. **clearly the local post office & UPS provided way better service & always gave a receipt for returns**

Only really go here for Amazon returns. What used to be a nice feature where you just drop it off and they scan your QR code now I have to get on a computer in their office and print it off myself. May as well package it too at that point.

Shipped a phone to Alliston Thursday. Delivery notification said it was delivered today (Tuesday). Recipient did not get the phone. The shipment was supposed to be delivered next day, 10: 30 which I paid extra for. Phone delivered today (Tuesday). My shipment said signature required. The recipient was not contacted for the signature. The customer service phone line isn't good. I've been on hold for 30 minutes. The virtual assistant is useless for this type of problem.
Now, we are wasting our time finding a phone we should have had in our hands on Friday.
Don't waste your time. Find another shipper. I can't give no stars for this review, or I would

I live in Ajax, and unfortunately when a delivery is attempted and I am not home, they make me pick it up from this location. It's unfortunate that i need to drive out this far, but honestly, the staff at this location are quite efficient and very friendly! I am usually in and out of this location in less than 3 minutes. And everytime i come to pick up an item, they are so nice and welcoming.

Apparently they do not get instructions when told multiple times where to leave package at the time of delivery. They do not even bother to knock on the door, or leave your parcel at an safe place. Misplacing your deliveries at a complete different address is another issue with them. On TOP, the customer service has an attitude problem.

This delivery service only delivers during work hours to my neighbourhood. When a package requires a signature it means I need to travel to their main depot, which is nearly 50 km from where I live. In most cases this means it is more convenient for me to drive to the place where an item was originally shipped from, or an alternative retail location to purchase an item in store, than it is for me to drive to the purolator depot. This is a ridiculous expectation, and the poor quality of service is something I would consider before ever shipping with this company.

Delivery failed because the item was too heavy, the estimated weight is 13.5 lbs. The customer service agent I spoke with was confused by this and said maybe they scanned it wrong. She said the GPS showed he scanned this in my area around 2: 30, yet my security camera shows no one attempting to drop anything off. Just great service all around from you guys.

Their drivers are lazy to do their jobs. Not even sure if the driver really delivered my lost package. They said they left the package outside my building door knowing a lot of people live in the building and a lot of random people are walking outside the building as well. They should at least leave a note at the door to just pick up the package at their location just like UPS, FedEx and other courier does instead of just leaving it outside a building knowing any random person can get it. Tried to report the lost package and I have to keep following up for them to respond. Still nothing happened. No idea if they got in touch with the driver or what.

Went to pickup an item that wasn’t left at my door. Received a text. When I got there I noticed a curb side option where you can call which was great because I had a sleeping baby in the car. No one answers the phone. I called several times and left a message but nothing. So I then went in. The lady asked if I had a pin and my response was no and she hastily replied that I needed a pin and moved on to the next person. I was upset at the response I got especially since I don’t pick up parcels often and wasn’t aware that they couldn’t find a package with my name or number. I responded that I would check for the pin and asked her name. I was so upset about how I was treated. After that she said she’d check the back by my name and was over the top nice but I shouldn’t have to go through that to get kind service. I had to drive 30 minutes to pickup a catalog and get rude service. The company should really rethink who stands at the front desk because they represent you and if they can’t handle the stress they shouldn’t be in that position. I’m not one to get upset quickly nor do I ever leave reviews like this but I’m so baffled by this experience.

I just came back from there tonight. Had to send two packages off to Germany. The two ladies there were so professional. They were awesome they were so helpful. Being in covid-19 and all, they had an excellent attitude and they were very kind.
This is my second time going there. Both times it's been excellent! I hope they're paying these young ladies really well!

The girls behind the counter are awesome. Polite and helpful. Great communication. Extremely clear and transparent. Only wish the same could be said for the third party drivers they sometimes have to use.

Received notice package was delivered have been home and waiting but no package. Don't know where it was delivered but was definately not here. Took me 35 min to get any help. $55 pkg.lost. Not the first time delivery has been sub Par. Last time just left pkg.at front office instead of at my townhouse. Just pure laziness.

Claims they attempted delivery at 5: 59am! The shipping address is an appartment building with instructions to call. A note was stuck on the building entrance door and no phone call or actual delivery attempt was made. Now I have to pick up in another city which will be a 45 minute round trip. Get it together and do your job right! Everyone is having a tough time and this does not help.

The people at the physical location are helpful but the drivers have routinely failed to use my SNR sticker and have instead made me drive an hour round trip to pick up packages that arent worth the gas. I've had notices slapped on the door literally inches from my SNR sticker.

My daughter went to pick up her University Text book at the Pickering location that required her signature and the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and impatient. It is YOUR job to provide customer service and to have pleasant staff to greet and assist people. Had it have been an adult would it have been the same disrespect? I think not. My daughter felt embarrassed in front of the other staff and some other customers. A lady approached her outside and apologized to my daughter for the disgust she had witnessed. She felt bad that a young girl like that was treated so poorly. When my daughter told her friend about her experience she had advised my daughter that she had also experienced the same attitude and disrespect from the same employee. Not the kind of customer service that one would expect to experience from Purolator. There are far too many people looking for jobs and would happily sit behind that desk and assist others with quality care that all would expect. Very disappointed but will have to return to pick up another book for my daughter in a few days.

Driver never checks delivery instructions. To durham region delivery team, go apply to Ubereats. Purolator is never a first choice of mine and is always a terrible experience.

Unorganized and not customer-friendly. I've had multiple recent issues at this location with packages being misdelivered and late; as well as with their fax service. I'd recommend a more reliable company during the pandemic that are handling the high volume more efficiently

My packages always end up back at the shipping center and I have to drive 40 minutes round trip just to get them. Kind of defeats the purpose of shipping to my door.

Went to the Purolator in Pickering on Squires Road. Lisa helped me find a box for free and then went on to tape it without complaining or grumbling about clients or her work.

She had a smile the entire time, did not make me pay for a new box which I was ready to. You're an angel for your service excellence Lisa and we could all take a page from your book.

Thank you once again. You made my day. It's people like you who give brands a positive brand image by going out of their way.

If I could give zero stars I would. Instead of placing my package on the front door step, the purolator delivery guy dropped it on the ground inside the front gate leaving it out in the rain to get soaked. There was no reason that this person could not open the gate, walk up the path to the door, and place the package on the doorstep out of the rain. The gate is easily opened and no dog was present outside. Lazy and poor service. I will complain to the company using them for shipping as well.

Far from where I live and not open on weekends. The street numbers in the area don't make sense so ignore them.

Edit: I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 1 star. They tried delivering a package to me yesterday and couldn't find my address (I've never had that problem before). They then tried again and still failed! I've never had this issue with anyone else and we use Canada Post and Amazon a lot. I've hardly ever interacted with Purolator yet they still seem to disappoint multiple times.

Terrible service by this depot. Most of the deliveries from this depot are delayed. In one occasion they even delivered my package to my neighbor across the street.

Fast and efficient service. I was running within minutes of the closing time and really wanted to get my package. I was literally in and out the door within minutes and boy even a bat of an eyelash because I was so close to quitting time.
I will be using this service again and highly recommend it.

Delivery is now 2 days late. Try to get a hold of anyone on the phone takes forever. I received a call back and it immediately put me on hold where I have been for the past 20 minutes. Would not recommend 100% using this service at any cost.
