Pursuit OCR

Went here for a friend’s birthday on a Saturday afternoon and had such a fun time! Booked my ticket online in advance which gets you a 90-minute session.

The time flew by and we didn’t even try everything as there is so much to do. A lot of the activities are part of an obstacle course, though most if not all of them are optional if someone doesn’t want to try something.

The staff were also really nice. The facility has washrooms, change rooms, a vending machine and lockers (need to bring a lock). Will definitely visit again!

Fun place for those that want to do something a bit more physically challenging.

Registration was easy.
Booked online and just had to show your ID.
Could take a bit of time, though not bad as there are time slots so they are done sequentially.

They have lockers (bring your own lock) and change room facilities which are pretty clean.

We went on the last time slot on Friday and it was busy though not overly crowded.

The trikes were fun.
The walls are great (made I after the 3rd time).
Dodge ball was awesome and lots of other things like and adult sized ball bit.
The obstacle course was a bit much after all that.

They have fans around the facility to cool you down if you sweat.

They ask you out pretty much on time and 1.5 hrs was enough for us.

You need to go with a fit group to take advantage of all of the facilities offered.

Julian was amazing! He not only guided us through every obstacle, but he did it with good humour and even better energy. He gave me confidence through pep talks to get me pumped for an obstacle and was so happy for me when I succeed. He is a gem! The service was so great that I will definitely come back with family and friends!

I was here on a random Monday afternoon so it was really quiet. Had fun riding the bikes and attempting to climb diff obstacle courses. My fav was the dodgeball area. The staff was also really helpful and engaged!

Third time coming back here, never a dull moment, I love that they continue to make little improvements to the place. Definitely need to be in reasonable physical condition in order to enjoy this place to the fullest, but most obstacles are doable after some practice.

Nice place and crazy games.
But you need to have a lock for the lockers to put your items in storage.
When the time is finished they just switch off the video games dramatically without warning, which is quite rude especially on days that it is empty.

The best experience ever omg. Loved today! Had the best time! So I’m scared of heights and I couldn’t climb up the wall and would keep sliding down half way. I almost gave up when one of the employees, Jay said he would help me overcome the fear and climb up. He went up there and pulled me up from the top just when I thought I couldn’t climb up any further! I was so happy and thankful and he goes “that was all you” omg that’s the nicest thing I’ve ever seen he was the sweetest and now I have more confidence doing that type of stuff!

Fun place to go, staff are very friendly. I wish I had asked her name, but one of the staff even came and encouraged us and helped with the methods of getting up the wall run.

The bike race track is also really fun.

One thing I'll mention is that it takes a bit of grip strength to do some of the activities, and you almost can't enjoy everything if you can't do pull-ups, so make sure you can do at least one!

This place is so much fun! It costs $20 per person, and it’s best to book a slot beforehand. We had a lot of fun and there were a lot of activities, we were completely exhausted near the end. If you want to just switch things up this place is great to go with friends.

Great experience! Fun and challenging obstacle course for a variety of skill levels. Megan, Jasmin and the entire team were very accommodating and friendly. Our group was fairly large but the guides had patience and were incredibly encouraging. The Wall was a challenge that will get you attempting it many times. Everyone loves the ball pit, and the rock climb will put you to test. Definitely would recommend for those looking for a physically fun and casual challenge

Love the place! The staffs are great and it’s fun to know they don’t have kids there so we can enjoy without hurting them. The playground is big enough and the bikes are fun to ride. I recommend this place.

Rly fun but super unhygienic. I don't think any of the equipment is wiped down between sessions and you definitely want to avoid the ball pit. AGAIN super fun but most of the obstacles require upper body strength - would be good if they could add sanitizer pumps for ppl to use during sessions

Just had SO much fun! Sweet place, big and open. Sick colors and decor, black lights and good loud music. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. I was tired after a half hour lol. Such a good time and great price at 20 bucks for 1.5 hours. My fave part was the rings, ball pit and tricycle racing! You gotta go!

Such a fun and challenging OCR course! My brother and I are both avid OCR runners and absolutely loved Pursuit. The obstacles range from easy to difficult with something for ever skill level. The staff are absolutely phenomenal and were cheering us on as we did the course. Would 100% reccomend giving pursuit a try

Had an blast coming here with friends. I loved how every obstacle could be as easy or as hard as you want to make it, and I want to thank Crystal for showing us all the variations so that we get a chance to actually try everything and wasn’t too intimidated. She made the experience 100% better, her encouragement really pushed me to try a little harder and not give up:)

Went with my partner and we had so much fun. It was spacious & the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We challenged ourselves to try new things and overcame some fears. We didnt think we were going to be great at the parkour section and suprised ourselves. The tricycles were a blast. Some things we didnt try like the pit of balls and the dodgeball arena - which we are 100% coming back again to try with friends. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good time, can be competitive or just good fun.

This is the best place ever and Sebastian provides by far the best customer service this city has ever seen. Great staff, great place for a party and you should go. Can't thank Sebastian enough for making sure everything was organized for my girlfriends birthday.

Sick place, had so much fun. Got stuck in the ballpit for a solid 20 minutes I recommend don't go in

Real fun place.
Variety of obstacle type challenges, dodge ball area, bouncy castle (didn’t try this), rope climbing, bouldering wall etc.

Fun active experience. Really unique areas to get group photos, lockers available for use.

Would recommend this place to others for sure. Make sure you book ahead of time to ensure reservations. Staff were extremely friendly and easy to chat with and ask questions.

I didn’t have my vaccine qr code just my vaccine certificate with my ID. The person dealing with us (Sebatian) wasn’t trying to help us in any way he made it feel like we lost our money. He said we weren’t allowed in and there is no refunds or change the ticket for another date. Only thing he mentioned is to get my QR code on the spot but I didn’t have my health card on me to do so and then he became rude with no help.
We literally booked the tickets 2 hours prior of arriving. Very upsetting

This was genuinely one of the most fun nights I have had out with my friends. The staff are amazing, the owner is dedicated, and the amount of different games and things to do here are just awesome. I could stay on the drift tricycles for hours. 100/10 would recommend to anyone.

So fun, went biking, played arcade games, dodgeball, climbed a lot of places, and fell in a ball pit.

Amazing place to spend time happily. This is also the cheapest fun experience for every age. It was my Bday and they made it so special. The staff is nice and cooperative and very very friendly. The deserve a raise. This place needs to be in the top attractions in Toronto/GTA. Thank you guys for all the fun. I will be visiting here again and again. Recommended for everyone. Please give them a chance once, you will not regret. This is the best place.
I hope to see more activities in future even if I have pay more but i would love to.

I was invited to a birthday party at this venue and upon arrival I was blown away at the sheer size of the space. The sign-in process (covid protocols) was easy and quick. Once we got our bags settled and it was time to play, we were greeted by a staff member/manager/GM I dunno but he was amazing. His name is Riley, I hope I'm spelling it right. Riley was informative/knowledgeable and well spoken. Leaving a simple review would barely demonstrate what this person did for us. If above and beyond was a person, I met him that day. All the best to everyone that works there, you're all amazing people and I can't wait to return.

Love this place with friends or a fun, active date. There are a lot of activities with different levels of difficulty.

They've added a few things since the last time I visited a few years ago. There's a dodge ball arena, bouncy castle and a few more fun and challenging exercises. The salmon ladder is definitely my favorite now. Will be coming back to test my progression on that one and of course to hit that third wall run!

Great fun play area with obstacles that you see and think you can conquer easily but are very hard to do. My less than fit self also found enough activities to do that made this memorable here and any exercise done was safe since everything had a nice padding to protect you. Warning for people like me.your body will hurt post the session but it is absolutely worth it! You will have the best time as well. Go on a group to maximize the fun

It was so much fun and tiring, you absolutely don’t need to hit the gym that day when you go.

Riley is such a sweetheart, he deserves a raise. (he went above and beyond to give us exceptional customer service).

Horrible service, they hung up the phone on my friend while he was asking them questions. They stopped picking up their phone and never called back. Terrible customer service.

The ultimate adult playground. There are all levels of courses. It's recommended to be somewhat physically fit to make the most out of it. Certain course may look easy, but going through it can be very tiring. I like the atmosphere there. The lighting and decore rocks! All the staff were friendly and super helpful. They were willing to demonstrate and guide us through every courses.

Went here for my birthday with a large group. Had an amazing time. The obstacle course is a lot of fun and challenging. Plus the dodgeball and ball pit was a lot of fun. A must visit!

Fun for all skill sets. Has the option to skip obstacles if above your strength or if afraid. The bikes are best for tall people (over 5ft 8), otherwise have to lie horizontal to reach the pedals. They do their best to make it safe, but still easy to hurt yourself if a task is too advanced, or if low grip strength. Great safety protocol and staff very helpful

Super fun place that gets you active!
Everyone is so supportive and the atmosphere is great.

A good variety of obstacle courses for different athletic abilities - we had a lot of fun! Love that theres limited capacity due to COVID protocols so we felt like we had the space to ourselves. The staff were reg santizing and really friendly. $20 for 1.5hrs

Pursuit Ocr is amazing! I expressed my concern about being a plus size woman and being able to go to there facility and they were beyond amazing. The staff makes you feel completely welcome and comfortable and they encourage you from one obstacle to the next. I am so pleased with how I was treated, I encourage everyone to give this place a try. It's such a blast going there and having fun even if you feel old! Haha

Make sure to read ALL of the terms of service on the waiver. You're allowing them to audio record your entire visit to their facility which is super sketchy, also allowing them to post your audio and video recordings online - even from their surveillance systems.

Their sketchy policies, mixed with the confrontational "as a matter of fact" way they respond to negative customer experiences is horrible.

I dont even post reviews, but based on others experience I felt the need to warn people.be careful what you're getting yourself into!

Pursuit OCR is a night out with friends that consists of fun, laughter, and a good workout! A good time all around thanks to the incredible staff! They are so welcoming, and energetic. It is evident that they truly love working there. Definitely will be returning! The ball pit and tricycles are activities you do not want to miss!

100000/10 AMAZING STAFF! I’ve never been to a place with such nice and friendly staff! It was my friends birthday and they were in on a surprise for her! Molly and the guy with the Spider-Man face mask don’t remember his name lol were great hosts! Amazing facility!

Employees are so nice and this place is really fun! Pricing is good too, they dont overcharge. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fun/unique to do while getting in a workout at the same time

We made a booking here and have to cancelled it because one of our friend have contacted someone tested positive in Covid. They did the refund now our group is BANNED PERMANENTLY. LoL. What a joke.

Amazing time today at Pursuit! You could tell everything was clean and everyone followed precautions (ie.wearing masks and social distancing). There were hand sanitizing stations located around the course as well. Darryl, one of the staff members there, were AWESOME and made the experience at pursuit go beyond our expectations. I highly recommend going:)

We had an amazing time. Its fun, good workout. Nice variety of activities. Simple arcade to relax. Hand sanitizer available.

Great fun! Been three times already and each time has better than the last. They have change rooms and lockers and I believe the price is fair!

One of the most funnest/best/cool places I have ever been too! Caution, you will SWEAT! Warning, not for those who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy. Wish they advertised that more as I almost suffered from an attack.
However, you can avoid certain areas so your trip/workout/date is extremely enjoyable.

I don't usually write reviews but I cant let this experience go its been a month and I still cant stop thinking about it and telling literally everyone I know about it.

This was an incredible experience and i will 1000% be going back many times. The staff are amazing they literally dropped everything they were doing when we needed something or asked for a picture. Huge shout out to Sabbina who was absolutely incredible making sure we were ok and answering any questions we had.the facility is alone is amazing but the staff made my experience memorable.

This was the most fun my friends and I had ever on any activity we choose to do! Huge shout out to Riley, who has to be one of the kindest, most down to earth employee I have ever met, anywhere. My two friends and I were scared we would not be able to do the slightly physically demanding obstacle course in the beginning, but Riley could see we needed encouragement and headed over to show us how to do the first one and motivate us. After this, we gained so much confidence. He popped in occasionally when he could see we needed help, and did the same for all the other people who came to enjoy this obstacle course, but he also gave us space, making sure to let us enjoy our time as friends! He even volunteered to help take photos because he observed that we tried to take one at every obstacle. It was so cool to learn about how your story of working there all started with someone, who you helped when you were just one of the customers as well in the obstacle course facility, left you a review.with a personality like yours, I'm sure there are way more wonderful review to come. Im just adding one to that long list:). Aside from employees, this place was HUGE! SUPER WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE (around 20 when we went). Over 20 obstacles for sure! Clean facility. They even had lockers and showers. They really thought of everything!

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THE SAFETY HERE!

The space invader pit is very unsafe, honestly Id be very careful with the safety waiver you see here. You'd expect for them to have done due diligence with the safety aspects, but they really haven't. We went here as a group (50 people) and i tore my rotator cuff, another a broken finger, one person with two broken ribs, and a number of people with really bad neck aches.

3 of the 4 people above got their injuries in the space invader pit, the other person had it in a similar place with a stunt mat. I personally fell and dislocated my shoulder while trying to climb across on the side wall, the foot grips were very small and my foot slipped, causing me to fall with my hand above me. The "Stunt" mats they have are very deep (1.5 meters at least I think) with very little support on the sides. I fell with my arm in an awkward position and the mat just went in, dragging me down. The person who was "In charge" said I needed to commit to the fall which was impossible since i slipped.

Too much fun! All the workers are amazing, and the overall feel was Super Mario meets oversized playground. The retro neon aesthetic was great for pictures but we had too much fun to take any.

If you can, go during a weekday because you'll be able to do the activities. Less people = no lines.

Such an amazing place to spend the afternoon/evening and you will have so much fun, before you know it you have been there for hours on end and don't even realize. The obstacles are just phenomenal with challenges for all types of fitness levels and you can try to better yourself every "lap" you do or just focus on one thing until you are satisfied with your success. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel at home and give you an experience you won't forget and are more than happy to show you some pointers to further your success on the obstacles. If you like photos theres an opportunity everywhere you look with a few "hotspots" and the staff will gladly help you capture that perfect Instagram shot. I almost forgot to mention they also have a big and amazing tricycle track which is one of my favorite things to do and whether you want to race your friends or just perfect your drifting theres plenty of room. You also cant forget the games in the front where you can just relax and take a break from the fun to recover. I've heard, and am very excited, that they are adding a few more gems to this wonderful place and I can't wait for my next visit to try them out as well. I could go on and on about how truly awesome this place is and I've missed a few things (huge ball pit, and the warped wall) but just do yourself a favor and go check it out for yourself!

Many of my friends have raved about how amazing this place is! Everything looks so modern and cool! The Management Team there is AWESOME too! I've heard it's got top-notch facilities, obstacles and challenges. Looking forward to trying it out myself this year with my peeps!:)

Awesome place to go with a group of friends, wear proper running shoes and athletic clothing for best experience.

Went with a group back in Sept. Was doing the final obstacle (ball pit) and ended up breaking my ankle and still recovering. A staff member told us it was safe to jump from that area. Appears like there is blue mattress lining the outer edges of the ball pit but it's actually hard material (possibly wood?) covered in blue tarp. Quick response to my injury but overall not a good experience.

Edited after OCR's response: The report was made in real time with no medical evaluation. I have never broken/sprained anything in the past so staff was estimating the injury (about 10 min after it happened) and had definitely hoped it was not broken. Turns out it was a borderline surgery break and it has been over 3 months. I am still in physiotherapy and it has been a long rehabilitation. Based on your response, it sounds as though you are saying it was my fault. That is an irresponsible response from any business as there were serious repercussions.

Great place to check out with a large group of friends! The course is fun and entertaining but can get crowded if you go during peek times.

Awesome place to bring a special someone for a physical date! All the events look scary or interesting or both but are actually really safe so it is easy to think you are inside a video game!

The staff member who attended to my group was incredibly rude. We came in with 5 people, and despite being told one thing on the phone, the staff member behind the desk would not listen to what we had to say and acted very unprofessionally. Luckily the interactions with staff are minimal, and once we got in we had a good time. It's a very fun experience and a good way to take a break from a standard gym while still getting a solid workout. Aside from the interactions with that staff member, I would recommend this place.
