Great beautiful store. It is very tiny with limited assortment. It does have all the basics and daily essentials. Staff are very friendly and always ready to engage and help out. They provixe outstanding customer experience.

This place has the audacity to offer Instacart services while having absolutely no customer parking. Instacart shoppers are making DELIVERIES folks! They need places to PARK! Please remove yourselves from Instacart's platform until you can provide this.
Also, we need scales in the produce area, as we are required to weigh all items before purchasing.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. I generally shop at their Avenue Road location.
Never been disappointed. Excellent products. I especially liked the quality of their fruits and vegetables, always first grade. I highly recommend their prepared foods, soups, sauces and pasta. I have had the distinct pleasure of visiting their
Commesary and observing the preparation of the above items
They follow the strictest guidelines laid down by the Toronto board of Health. And used the best quality ingredients in their prepared foods

Some feedback for the managers of this store. I come often to the meat section to buy some meat. There is no bell or anything at the meat counter. I have to stand several minutes waiting and hoping someone will come and help.

I just want a pound of ground beef or a steak and am in a hurry usually so the wait can be bothersome. I hope the store managers can put a bell there or something so I can get served faster.

EDIT: Updated to 5 star review. I'm impressed that the owner responded to my review in under a day and welcomed the feedback. Since leaving my review, there is now always someone at the meat counter and I get served under a minute. The man who works at the meat counter is also very friendly and remembers what I get. They also accommodate my request to packaging the meat in separate packages of 1 lbs each. The quality of customer service is impressive and matched by the quality of the meats themselves, which are great. I see myself coming here for the majority of my meat purchases and will recommend this store to my friends.

Purchased chicken breast and when I opened the back I was disgusted by the horrible rotten smell. It was a greyish colour and clearly not fresh at all. Worse quality than Walmart at ultra premium pricing. Unacceptable will never shop here again.

We had Pusateri's cater a corporate event, and it went over quite well. The food and the variety of options were good, though it didn't blow the team away. The delivery was on time for our requested window, but the driver did forget to call us to let us know the food was delivered to the lobby. When I reached out to the catering team, they got back to me quickly. Overall a positive experience.

The staff are not attentive and rude, if you wanted any of the sandwiches behind the glass, you are better off just getting something from star bucks or grab something at Yorkville Village. If you value your customers, you have to attentive to them.

This is a great shop! I had a minor service issue and the manager promptly stepped in, without asking. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. Together with a great range of everyday and unique products, Pusateri’s is definitely 5!

I worked for them, ans was seriously disgusted. They don't even wash thier cabbage in thier salad bowls. They don't allow thier employees to drink water during work, not even a covered bottle! Just disgusting work environment I would NEVER in my life eat at this place!

Employees were chatting, I pressed help on self check out machine but no one comes and help me. But Food is good

Smallest location out of the 3 across the GTA but always really fresh selection of food items! The only bad experience I had was 6 or so months ago when I picked up a piece of cheesecake and it tasted stale. Great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables too!

Some advice please check your shelves better. No way should a store in Yorkville, have moldy bread on display. I handed it to your stock person. Thank me later!

A good place, close by, to find something special to have for dinner or a very special maybe exotic food-related present. Fish and meat counters offer great quality items. As of March 2022, I wished they had done away with the entrance-only on Bay St, from where we need to meander back to the Yorkville St exit to go into the store through the cashier area. What for?

Good place for high end foods. However they are trying to eliminate their wonderful cashiers. Self check out lowers the cache of the store.

Worked here. Health conditions were atrocious. Rats in the back everywhere with their feces all over. Improper storage of most food items. Meat racks for the butcher area were disgusting and cleaned irregularly. Management is also abusive and casually racist about its staff and attempts to brow-beat teenager employees into working off the clock.

Absolutely disgusting store both in terms of conditions and management practices. Also most Pusateri branded items are just repackaged regular brands marked up at a premium.

I used to love coming here for a salad and some groceries, but the quality has gone very downhill.customer service is non existant, they are very rude.and the prices are insane! Go to EATALY instead!

Great food but overpriced, also disappointed to see they have sulphites as an ingredient in their salads. I figured if I was paying $16 for a salad it would at least be a good quality ingredients and not have preservatives like sulphites that are bad for you smh

Oomah is always so welcoming and lovely. Always nice to grab a coffee in the morning from them!

Great place to buy fine foods. Not your usual shop. Great selections of pastries, snacks and cooking needs. With very friendly staff.

The main caveat here is price.
Their selection and freshness is great. Their lunch boxes (ie spaghetti meatballs) are all around the 10-15$ mark. I'm happy with their selection and I like their location and staff. Their checkout is also very convenient!

Everything's cramped inside and the food doesn't look particularly fresh or tasty. The atmosphere seems dead compared to Whole Foods or Eataly nearby

Such a disappointment during the pandemic. Without a doubt, one of the most poorly run grocery stores in terms of customer service, courtesy and efficiency.don’t even get me started on their delivery service. They were never an economical choice, but when you consider the “service” that goes along with the high prices.there is certainly no value to be had. I live close by, and used to shop there frequently.

Little gourmet supermarket! I come here often just to get prepared food when I'm lazy. I will recommend the Sushi platters, the chicken breast is always moist! Thanks for making my lazy nights super easy!

Great hot food bar for take away meals. Large assortment of ready made fresh meals. Dessert bar is amazing

I like going to this store from time to time for their bakery section. I had good brioche a while back. Not sure if they still sell this item as last time I came, they did not have it. Their lemon brûlée cheesecake was good as well as their pina colada and peanut butter cupcakes. Their custard tarts are good but I’ve had better ones else where. They have a more premium type of grocery. So the prices come with it too.

I ordered a cake online for pick up and drove to the shop for it. Only to be told that they don't see an order under my name and they don't have the cake I ordered even though I have an e-mail receipt to confirm the order. They could have just sent me an e-mail to say that my order is cancelled because it's not available or they could have left me a voice message. Very disappointed.

Went in last thursday, and usually go in 2 x month or so, everyone from the greeter at the door to the attendees, and food stockers were all so miserable and such a bad mood. Of course its a hard time for everyone with covid and what not. I tried to be polite and courteous, only the cashiers, bakery, and deli were friendly I really don't get it some of the people here act as if they are employees of Hermes or the like. I am going to Eatly next time as the service there is much more top notch. Disappointing because this is only 1 block from my residence but the poor service has me looking elsewhere.

I used to loved their pastries, unfortunately I bought some chocolate bomb today, which you can see the molds. I had to return them and they didn’t even understand how much this was unacceptable.

I was given bad chicken fingers I think k they had been prepared 5 days ago the inside was turning dark brown it was as hard as rock ohhhh my

If you're in Yorkville, (maybe leaving my office from a Healing Reiki Session) you have to stop into Pusateri's! It's right across from my office. I find myself eating one of their many choices of yummy healthy wraps every other day! Getting them warmed up is a must, but they are always fresh. I hate to admit I never pack myself a lunch so I stop in there all the time for fresh cut fruit. Today when I walked in they had the most beautiful and delicious looking desserts for Valentines Day️. They also had a ton of fresh flowers and cards. No matter what the holiday is Pusateri's has you covered!

Nice little spot for some unique grocery items. I will emphasize the “little” part, as this store is TINY. But, they carry a great range of food products you wouldn’t see in other stores. Although we didn’t use it, they have a nice little cafe onsite as well, with what looked like some delicious treats and pastries. Would return.

I've been a regular customer for more than 15 years. When I started shopping at Pusateri's, and spending almost daily time in the cramped coffee bar, I enjoyed the personal connection with staff, who were friendly, attentive and appeared committed to making Pusateri's unique. In the past year or two, I've noticed a sharp decline in service, efficiency and attention. Staff, with few exceptions, are disinterested in relating to customers: very few staff either know the inventory carried by the store or take the time to help people like me to find what they are looking for. I have wondered if Pusateri's recent expansion in so many other locations is the root cause - there is a transient quality to staff and there is a palpable message that revenue rules and customer satisfaction is lower on the scale. I have shopped and coffee-ed less and less these past two years, preferring to find alternatives now plentiful in the neighbourhood. And one final thought: the coffee bar section has become the standard by which I assess the quality in all areas of a retailer's focus, and my current assessment is that Pusateri's really doesn't give a damn for anything but their bottom line. And mine is to support a store/company that values me for more than my wallet.

Definetly a must stop when visiting Yorkville. Excellent variety and quality of food products with a particular attention also to ready cook recipes for home use.

Moderate selection of high quality food. If you're looking to buy stuff to cook, there isn't much. You are better off walking a few blocks to the Whole Foods nearby.

Food taste like it was made in a factory. After looking at the packaging on this pasta, it was made in a factory smh

Very good selection of fresh pastries and fresh produce. I prefer the avenue road and Lawrence location as it’s bigger and has a wider variety, but I go to this one more as it’s closer to home.

Quality food, good selections. Store is a bit small, on a busy day checkout can be a bit of a wait.

My go to spot for prepared meals when I lived downtown. I wouldn’t recommend for regular groceries due to the cost but the prepared meals are excellent and worth the $ IMO.

This is one of the best markets in Toronto! The staff is hard working and friendly. Truly worth parking the La Ferrari at Four Seasons, to run into this amazing place!

This is a grocery store for the wealthy and so I fully expect to end up here when the economic crisis and climate change take full effect.

The store is on the small side, but has everything you need and is in a good location near Bay station. The staff are helpful & polite.

Went in and saw a woman being served with her fluffy little dog. That breed is not a service animal, it’s a pet. That’s a health code violation.

This place should be fined severely for allowing pets into the store.

Bought a mango, got it home and it was rotten inside. A week later, the same thing happened again. Why display so many mangos if half are rotten?

Remove rotten produce, as it makes the other fruit ripen faster, also it attracts fruit flies and could make someone sick.

One of my favourite places to shop. Excellent selection, great pre-made and pre-cooked options too, and a range of prices whether you want something premium or a better value. Very impressive, fresh options all around.

This is an overpriced foodery located in a very high end area. They offer a mini market variety of food products as well as cooked items that I am sure serve the well to do in the are fine. I went in one day and got a very small container of cooked shrimp. There must have been a little more than a dozen and they were not large at all. When I saw they wanted $25 I told them to put it back. If you live in the area and are in need of something when the supermarkets are closed or not so close I guess you just have to grin and bear the prices. I personally only buy here if its a last resort.
