Putrone Salon

Never went here but called to ask a couple basic questions and was met very very rudely by a man. Basically rushed to get me off the phone.

I moved a one and 1/2 hour drive away (108km) from Putrone Salon FIVE years ago. Not a problem, I still make the drive to see Anthony, Joe and Teresa. Great family run shop. Best cut and colour anywhere. Very safe! I will not change, Anthony is the amazing!

Anthony's the best! Switched to Putrone about a year ago after 12 years at a different salon, and glad I did! Now the whole family goes to Anthony, and we're all thrilled with his work.

This was my first time at a salon ever! I just wanted to say how awesome the atmosphere was and how kind everyone there was. I will definitely recommend it to anyone. I loved the experience and I absolutely will be back.

$190 DISASTER. I use a walker but wasn't able to do so here. They were all very pleasant, a comfortable setting. Putrone's also practice covid safety. I needed to take some of the bulk out of my hair as it was heavy and very hot. I had asked to shorten it and take some of the thickness away, layer or feather but not choppy. What I got was choppy, very very choppy. My friends wanted me to go back to get it fixed but fixing a bad cut is not that easy. After brushing my hair one morning I finally decided it was so bad it needed to be fixed. I called Putrone's told them about it and their position was "it's because it's grown out now". Growth had nothing to do with it. I have never had such a terrible cut, it's choppy all the way around. It actually looks like someone put a bowl on top and cut around it. For $190.00 I expected better.

Anthony has been my hairstylist for over 25 years. His knowledge of what is current in regards to styles, how to achieve them, and the products that the salon offers is comforting. Not only do I have excellent experiences, I appreciate Anthony’s humour, and always enjoy seeing his family. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

So happy to have such an amazing salon in Dundas. I used to drive an hour to get my hair done, until I came across Putrone.
As a blonde my hair was not in good shape, but thankfully Anthony saved it. Not only does my hair now look completely natural, it is healthy for the first time in many years. So much so, that my Mother is now a regular client as well. Highly recommend

On occasion, due to vacation or scheduling issues, I've switched to Anthony, and he is equally excellent. Both are highly recommended, and they are friendly and extremely professional

Anthony has been doing my hair for years. I always trust his opinion when it comes to “changing it up” and he is amazing with colour and short cuts. The salon is an amazing family atmosphere and it’s a great place to get a makeover and chat about life!

I have been going to Anthony for a long time and trust him completely with my hair. He cuts, colours & highlights my hair. I have been stopped by numerous strangers to compliment me on my hair and to ask who my hairdresser is. My children have continued to go to him as adults and they too are very happy with what he does with their hair. It is a family run business and they are all wonderful people. I highly recommend them all!

If I could rate you zero stars, I would. Running after a customer (whether they bought something or not) to ask where they put the product back that they were looking at is a funny way of running a business. Not exactly sure why you thought two women who are nearly 30 years old, who travelled outside of this town, obviously in the know when it comes to hair, would steal anything from you. We told you were we there specifically to check out the Kevin Murphy product. You, sir, need to take a lesson in business and perhaps life in general as placing judgement on others reflects as poorly on you as your business's overall rating.

Melissa's review is garbage. I was there as a customer. A.didn't 'run down the street', he opened the door and asked where a certain product was. He couldn't see it and acknowledged when he did. 30 years old? The 2 of them acted like teenagers.

My wife and I've been going to Putrone's for a number of years and have received nothing but 1st class service and advise. They are the best in town!

I have been getting my hair done by Anthony for over 15 years. He always does an amazing job and goes above and beyond! Over the 15 years he has done cut, colour, prom hairstyles, my wedding day hair and has always outdone my expectations. He is extremely knowledgable on hair products and was able to assist in recommending hair products for my thinning hair, which are working very well. I wouldn't let anyone else touch a hair on my head!
