Outstanding food, at a very reasonable price, great quantities and quality. Service was friendly and very good. Enjoyed ourselves immensely. 9 of us, service was prompt without being pushy. Two of us split the sampler platter, 3 meats. I can vouch for the chicken, beef brisket, and meat loaf, all bbq'd. Great corn bread. The full rack of ribs was huge. I could go on, but you've figured out we loved it. We'll be back. (Oh, and they take reservations and are open Sundays)

The food was very good and the staff was friendly. As a matter of fact, we are going there again this morning!

Generally I recommend this place. Dinners have been excellent. Lately tried breakfast twice and was extremely disappointed with speed of service and quality of food. The location is great but, service and food quality need much improvement. I'd be hard pressed to go again for breakfast.

Opens early and a very different place in the morning. Not a big fan of the bacon but the breakfast is what you can call the amazing Canadian standard.

Great food with superb service. Staff is new and nervous but did a great job. The food was tasty and the beans were Smokey and delicious. For $5.99 you can't go wrong.

We have been to the Q a couple of times for dinner before, and it was decent.

The recent addition of a breakfast menu has made us regulars! Early bird special (7-10am) is the best deal in town! For $6.99 you get 3 eggs, choice of meat, homefries (or tomato slices), toast, and choice of oatmeal (have not tried) or their house made baked beans. I've also tried the spinach and feta omelette, which was very good, but twice the price of the breakfast special.

Service is always excellent. Sarah has served us many times, and she is wonderful! Honestly though, everyone working there is always friendly and welcoming.

We will definitely be back soon.maybe even give the dinner menu another shot!

My family and I used to order from this place all the time. Especially their awesome take out. It is an iconic location in Cambridge, and it’s definitely worth a visit. At the very least, you’ll want to try their takeout. The barbeque is great, and they have an awesome selection of food.

Review was great this restaurant. That's what, I went to there this morning. I ordered $5.99 special breakfast meal. I loved beans and sausage. Usually I don't like beans but this restaurant was great taste. It was so yummy. Definitely I will come back dinner time next time.

I have nothing negative to say! The food is fantastic! I was there 5 years or so ago and returned this weekend with my girlfriend whom has little experience with this type of food. She had never tried corn bread and is now in love with it, never a fan of pulled pork etc and is now a super fan.

Amazing service, outstanding breakfast. The baked bean were delicious and the shredded potato hash browns were perfect!

Long standing and family owned restaurant this is THE spot to go in Cambridge and one of the best value in the KWC area for some delicious smoked bbq meats. I love that their menu has some Greek flair such as souvlakis.

You gotta try their beef brisket because it is sooo tender and super delicious AND they don’t charge to add brisket to your platter-which in my books is a bonus. The chicken is super succulent and the pulled pork is beyond flavourful. They’ve been featured in You Gotta Eat here, and I can definitely see why! Their sides are so super tasty, the Mac & Cheese is easily one of my favourite and their Corn Bread is so addictive.

First time we went (one week ago), our server was fantastic and the food was great. Atmosphere was loud but it is always nice to hear happy people enjoying themselves.
Second time we went (this morning), our server was new and needed help getting through the menu which was no problem. She got my egg order (scrambled, as sadly I cannot have over easy because I am pregnant), but forgot my husband's. When I kindly reminded her about my husband's egg preference and he requested over easy, she took it down and went to put our order in. When the food arrived, both of our orders came with over easy eggs. I apologized and reminded her that I had ordered mine scrambled, to which she argued and told me I said I wanted the same as my husband's. I apologized again and told her I needed scrambled, I can't eat these, and she continued to argue with me until my husband told her to stop.
We also ordered a side of fruit from the menu, listed as a side for 5.99. She came back and argued and said that wasn't a thing - but we had ordered this last week and knew it was a menu option. We asked about coffee refills, and she said that coffee refills were not free and it was 2.75 each time, and rolled her eyes as she walked away. The manager came over to check on what was happening and we mentioned this, and he told us the fruit was an extra charge but apologized and brought some out quickly. He also reassured us that coffee refills were free after the initial 2.75.
I do not like being difficult to any degree, I am someone who will eat unpleasant food to avoid being a bother, but being served food I can't eat is another story, and being argued with about it was shocking. This server made me feel as though I was the problem, and we will not be returning anytime soon.

I ordered ribs from this restaurant 2 whole rocks that cost almost a $100. I got them they were so tough no sauce and a not even a full rack. I called and let management know and they were not willing to even replace my meal. The food twice now that I've ordered from there has been horrible. I will never order from here again as the management at that place is ignorant and rude.

Amazing good, wait a bit but it's worth the wait! First time I've ever gone and so glad I did!

Went for the $5.99 (regularly $8.99) breakfast special. It was terrific. Scrambled eggs, ham, fried grated potatoes, toast and the tastiest beans you've eaten. Yum yum yum. They have new staff that weren't super confident but we trying so hard. Great place to go. Will definitely return.

Good value for you money. Affordable for sure and you get a good sized meal.

Observations:
Top of stairs ledge leading to washrooms downstairs needs repair. I’m sure its about to be addressed but made me a bit nervous going down.

Baked beans look delish! Have real bacon and onions in them. Mmmm…but
Sauce was too sweet for me.that being said … my sister loved them!

BEWARE! Food Poisoning. 3 of us dined here and we all got food Poisoning. This place should be investigated.

Great spot for BBQ! The 4 meat platter was gigantic and well priced. Large portions of meat and huge sides. The burger was also tasty!

This is a solid place for some BBQ!

The brisket is so good. Portions are very generous for the price. Everything from the service to the food is amazing when I go in here. This spot is a definite landmark in Cambridge that you have to get out and try:)

Ordered from Q BBQ for the first time. The person who took my order over the phone was warm and friendly. The food was ready on time and hot. The server was lovely.

The pulled pork sandwich was so moist! The meat was tender and very flavourful. I ordered the lemon potatoes and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend ordering from this restaurant.

Came back for dinner tonight. I was looking for a vegetarian option and ordered the spanakopita. The dinner platter was very generous!

We came on Mothers Day I must say this was one of the best breakfast experiences the family have had in a long while. Friendly staff, good food and lots of time to catch up with the grandkids.

People who work here are very rude. We came in on a Sunday evening and the place had no customers. There were 4 adults and 2 kids and they said that the big table was reserved for a large party. When we looked there were other tables that were empty. She said you can sit there but it wouldn’t be together. We ask if the tables could be move together and they didn’t want to do that. Why turn down customers when businesses were struggling due to the pandemic. When we said never mind and were leaving the older lady in the kitchen yelled at us and said “maybe you should have made reservations”. I would understand if they were busy with customers. That was really bad customer service.

We had dinner there, had some chicken wings and beef brisket. The beef brisket was excellent, tender and juicy. However the chicken wings were a little dry.
The staff is very polite and accomodating.
Prices are reasonable too.
