Good experience I like the place quick service the pedicure was not perfect I wish they scrapped better I still have dead skin

I was in a week ago and had a pedicure and bio gel nails. Unfortunately the color faded and spotted no fault to technician just a bad bottle of color. I called and Amy invited me in for a total redone!
She was amazing and the owners are such nice people and all staff in included. I especially loved how clean and professional they were.
Definitely going back for refills.
I would totally recommend this place.

This place has gone downhill - it took me a while to book the appointment and when i booked online i booked a codi mani and pedi - with a certain tech - when i got there i did not receive this service - i got a basic mani/pedi and i mean basic the tech did not do cuticle care on my nails or file them - also while getting pedi the tech left me in the chair for so long the water got cold and then proceeded to do the mani right in the same chair - i came here to get pampered and primped and left feeling like I had been an inconvenience- as well left to my own devices for most of the time i was playing around with the massage chair and ended up hurting my back - not a good trip at all

So we literally just left Q1Nails and Spa and felt the need to give my first ever business review.

As a treat I brought my daughter who has Special Needs in to have her nails done.

The gentleman there was warm and passionate with her. After an hour plus of his time he tells me that this was Special for her and that there is No Charge!

As for her nails my daughter says she absolutely LOVES them.

A Very Warm Thank you to not only the gentleman who did my daughters nails but also Entire Staff.

You will be seeing my daughter again and again.

I was very happy to see a nail salon open in this convenient location. I made my first appointment and had a pedicure. The salon is nice and big inside, looked clean, massage chairs were new and comfortable with many settings. I was greeted as I entered and told "sit over there" with a wave of the hand. There were several chairs in that direction, so I chose the one that was "over there".

I had a nice young girl come over to assist, but with her very limited English, we weren't able to chat much. They have a basket of nail colours, that are usually shown when selecting shellac, so I clarified, "no shellec", she repeated what I said so I felt she understood. She did come back with regular polish in the court I selected, so I was pleased. Usually salons have a display on the wall with bottles to choose your colour, so this was a different approach and it was fine.

The Nail Tech did a fairly good job, but within 3 days, the colour was chipping a bit and I ended up with each big toe getting imprints in them from not enough drying time, despite my best efforts to be careful. As I was seated at the chair with a dryer on my toes, their electricity went out, which I know they had no control over. It was out in the surrounding area, so not a problem limited to them. With no power and no cash, I had to etransfer payment directly to the owners email address. The other lady working in there that day assisted me with this as she was trying to figure out the power situation.

Will I be back? I'm really not sure, was there anything special about this place? Will it become a more regular place for me to go to every 2 weeks as I go that often for a pedicure? Not sure. I'd recommend more than 2 staff on a Friday afternoon, one had to keep leaving her customer to go answer the phone, that's something I don't like, and makes appts take quite a bit longer. Price is comparable to other places. Thank you for accommodating me, being able to book online was somewhat straightforward.

I went in with a full set of bio gel from another place, the kind woman spent almost an hour taking them off and made great suggestions on how to care for my natural nails so they won't break. Great place I will be back!

The workmanship is great as are the staff plus they go the extra mile to make sure your visit is relaxing

Got my nails done before Christmas the 2nd day after having them done the colour started chipping off the manicurist who I had struggled to do what I wanted so I settled for something she told me would be easier I wasn't happy with them when we left but I didn't want to argue I also had to wait about an hour after my booked appointment time to finally be able to get my nails done my friend was already done her mani pedi by the time I was sat down I will not be returning over priced for a bad manicure

Called at eleven and asked if it would be okay to book for eleven thirty or twelve. They said it wouldn’t be a problem. We sat for thirty minutes with our feet in cold water without really being acknowledged. At twelve one lady started on my partner while I sat there until twelve thirty. Her pedicure was finished before mine even started. There was also a lady who walked in after I had been there for thirty minutes already and they started on her right away. I was ready to walk out. My pedicure was rushed and my nails were barely cut. I’m at home trimming them myself. After my pedicure I was rushed out and didn’t even have time to relax and dry my feet. I would be embarrassed to own this establishment. I did not feel comfortable paying for this service today and I left extremely disappointed.
Side note the lady doing my feet took a call on her cellphone which I thought was extremely unsanitary. The chairs are also very uncomfortable.

I am newly relocated to St Catharines, and wanted to find a great nail place in my neighbourhood. Q1 nails delivered! Easy website to navigate and book, lots of options, prices are reasonable and the staff are extremely friendly. Emma is a sweetheart, and has done my nails fabulously. She never makes me feel rushed, and the quality of the job lasts longer than any other salon I’ve been to. Would absolutely recommend.

I have been to Q1 twice now and both experiences have been great! Yesterday, I had Priti as my tech and she was absolutely lovely. She is a genuine, warm person and she also did a phenomenal job! Such a relaxing experience and my toes look amazing.

Lovely experience, but overcharged for gel and shellac that did not last. Probably won’t go back

Two days after lock down I called q1 and was pleasantly surprised that Amy could fit me in.when I arrived at the nail salon it was refreshing to see a clean place without tools all over the place and nail tip clippings all over the floor.they take the extra step with sanitization due to covid concerns which I appreciate.
Pretty gave me the most relaxing pedicure worth the cost of 40$.
it was not rushed and she took her time with each person she was with.she also frequently sanitized her tools which, lets be honest most places just rinse them off.
Amy did my full set and for the first time she did not try to narrow my natural nail to make a coffin shape (I often have too much filing done and my nail beds are sore after) they look beautiful and sleek.
I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back.:)

Amy has always been my go to, she’s absolutely amazing does my dip nails and has them stunning every time.
