QDOBA Mexican Eats

The manager was extremely rude - forced me to mask or not order even tho I have a MEDICAL exception and that’s not what the LAW says - I was told to get outside. I still ordered and then when I got home I found blue paper in my food. Photo attached.

Went to Qdoba on Nov 18,2022. My wife told the person working that the mild Queso didn’t look right - it was watery and lumpy. We eat there a lot and it never normally looks that way. The entire metal tray they store it in was stirred because she suggested maybe it needed to be stirred. We ordered and took our food to go. Found out the queso was actually spoiled it was curdled dairy that is why it looked off. Smelled and tasted off too. We threw it out after tasting. Will not be surprised if people end up with food poisoning from visiting Qdoba yesterday as it was the entire tray of queso and anyone who likes Qdoba knows people love queso. Super gross wish this wouldn’t have happened. We will still eat here again but now we will be double checking to see if the texture looks normal. Feel bad for people who ate it like nothing was wrong and will most likely get sick.

Found it hard to hear the server as it was loud and she spoke very fast. But the food was good.

New personal seems nice, but they made a us pay for kids meals only to find out they had free kids meals on Wednesday’s. Didn’t care to make it right, bad service.

The brisket bowl is really delicious. Perfect portion. The staff is very friendly.
Wish this location had easier recycling options for dining. They seem to make a lot of corporate effort to make the bowls compostable (not use the awful plastic black bowls) and plastic lid separate, but the garbage station doesn't really reflect that. Everything just goes in the bin. Also, since we were dining in, and we were asked if we were dining in, I'm not sure why they put the plastic lid in the bowl in the first place.

Just stopped by to have a bite to eat. The staff were absolutely amazing, the store was clean and the food was great!

Visited few days ago. Food was amazing but service was awful. The lady who served us, most likely manager was very rude. She did not know how to talk to customers. She was literally shouting. No manners. Other staff were polite but one can easily tell that they were also afraid of her.

This was a great place more so not only because of the food but the person who served me was a very nice person.

Out of the big new school burrito chains, it's the best. They have ground beef, the best queso, and the best toppings.

Good staff at this location. Always like the food here. I still prefer Chipotle, but this is a close second and they have way more locations.

I came tonight, & I bought ground beef tacos with the corn bread soft shell.
1st of all the soft shell corn bread is awful, I immediately got sick in my stomach from eating one taco because of the taste & texture, for context I'm in 1st trimester and this experience was disgusting and I'm sensitive to food I find really gross.
The ground beef was also horrible & awful. It's poor quality doesnt taste good at all.
Please bring fish tacos to the menu.

Don’t Get The Rice! I literally watched the girl take a dirty wet dish rag and ring it out right beside the two types of rice and it splashed all over the rice…. She looked up at me and pretended it never happened. This was on New Year’s Day. Happy new year 2022. Don’t eat the rice. Also I don’t know if it’s just because it’s New Year’s Day but y’all seem like you don’t like your jobs and we’re pretty rushy & rude. ‍️ Good luck in the future.

Love going to qdoba and im seeing a similar pattern with the reviews, i had a similar experience today. I went into this Qdoba on Wellington and southdale at approx 6pm and when i walked in the blondeish lady at the counter definitely made you feel like you were in a rush to say the least. Additionally im not sure if she's management or a trainer but was training a very nice kid yet she was very rude and passive aggressive to him. If i was that kid i'd definitely hate showing up to work. Food was good though.

Qdoba is one of my favorite places to eat. Unfortunately, the staff at this location lacks customers service skills and doesn't understand portions. I visited about an hour ago, store wasn't busy. The customer ahead of me clearly hasn't been to Qdoba before and didn't know how to order, the lady working was very impatient and SUPER rude - didn't even bother explaining how to order. Anyway, as for my order, I received less than subpar service, definitely not enough toppings and the portions were inconsistent.
Ps: it would be helpful if name tags actually had names on them.

I don’t usually leave food reviews but terrible employe she practically doesn’t give you time to make your burrito she’s puts what she please on it, with small portions, not to mention didn’t ask if I wanted it toasted, 18$ on one burrito I won’t even eat

I've had Qdoba a few times at the other location on Dundas and have always enjoyed.
Visited this location tonight with my husband who has never been and the staff, primarily the blonde lady was extremely rude and impatient. We picked up on her attitude as soon as we got to the line to order. As the only 2 in the store at this time around 7pm, there is no need to rush us when we are asking simple questions. I will never visit this location again, sucks because the other location the staff are very friendly. Also, the portions they put in the taco bowls are the bare minimum if you compare it to the other location and the tortilla shell is not thoroughly cooked, it looks raw but it's on the cusp of just being cooked.
Poor customer service. Work on your people skills or find a different job where you don't have to communicate with people and answer questions.

We enjoy the food, but have been regularly disappointed by staff with very poor customer service training. Staff yell at customers and are rude and sarcastic. We are not likely to visit again as this has happened too often.

Used to be a great place to eat! Loved their food. They have honoured mask exemption up until recently. No longer honour it. Was also disappointed, they refused to serve me even after explaining that I was exempt

I am glad they dont let people in without masks. The food is really tasty and the staff is kind and helpful.

Unfortunately the burrito's weren't wrapped properly and were falling out before starting to eat. I don't blame them as the employees are likely new to wrapping a burrito due to high turnover. Its unfortunate that it was so costly as well. Epic fail.

Best Queso in all of London! I purposely drive out of my way to this Qdoba over other locations because the queso is so consistent and delicious! With other locations the queso tastes different every time, but this queso tastes amazing every single time! The staff are so nice and friendly too!

Food is consistently good. Employees are nice even tho I didn't realize I was there 30 minutes before they closed. My favorite burrito place!

Awesome service! Brittney was especially helpful. Had a mishap in the kitchen today and was unable to make my cranberry infused meatballs for dinner. Thankfully the guys (and girls) at Qdoba did me justice for such a mishap. Thanks guys! Appreciate the backup especially when things go south!

Had the cauliflower mash chicken bowl! SO GOOD! Low in carbs, high in taste! LOVED it! Hope this will be on the menu permanently!

I thought restaurants would be happy to be opened again. The employee taking my order had an attitude problem. I walked out, won't be spending my money here.

Burrito the size of my forearm. Eat your burrito with an empty stomach. Felt like I was gonna explode.

After getting thoughtless customer service at McDonald's, I ditched them and went up the road to Qdoba. Staff were refreshingly cheerful and helpful. The only thing that prevented this from getting a fifth star was that the price for the burrito was higher than I expected.

My new favourite Mexican restaurant chain. Never disappointed anytime I have eaten there. Excellent topping for their tacos.

The food was great as always, but every Qdoba is freezing cold! I cannot take my coat off in any of the locations in London. Turn the heat up!

Menu states vegetarian protein replacement and when asked, I was told only chicken and beef. Very disappointed

Great consistent quality and service. The burritos are the best value IMO. Once a week kids eat free so my family of four can eat a filling meal for around $25. Can't beat that.

Usually great overall experience. However I havnt been ina few months until last night. It was just after 9, and they were out of food supplies! Barley any steak (they chinced me hard), No jalapenos, no fajitas veggies, no ceaser, The worst part is they refused to fry up any veggies. Or chop up jalapeno. I got 3 tacos. All below what I remmeber in quantity. And a rice bowl again. Felt like it was chincy. I literally left un satisfied after 30 dollar meal. Usually decent.however I'm not sure I'll be back after that.

Love their taco salad and I love to get a cherry coke. No many restaurants have the flavored pop fountain any longer. Service is fast and friendly!

Took the kids here for lunch and they both suffer from eyes-bigger-than-tummy-itus. Guess who had to eat all their leftover food?

One of my favourite burrito shops in london, had some of the most reasonable prices and I always feel satisfied when I go here. Employees are also very nice never had a problem

Great burritos, but I wish the 'extra spicy' topping were actually spicy! Skip that nasty trip to bell and have something that at least resembles Mexican food.

I like the gladiator tacos but its way too expensive for what you get. The crispy shells are nice but the soft shells are below average.

We stop here on our way through about 4-5 times a year.the staff is always so nice and helpful, the food is fresh and delicious and it’s always a pleasant experience

Favorite burrito bowl place, Queso and chips are yummy as well. Unfortunately 3 out of 4 times iv gone to this location they are always out of food supplies. Beans, pico, grilled veggies. Other locations are great.

Love that you can make your own bowl, finally a place that actually like Mexican! Friendly staff, will definitely be going back to try the tortilla soup and tacos.

Food was great here but the staff was superb. Their menue changed since I was there last. Too bad I don't live in London anymore or else I'd be a regular.

Dont let your daughters work here, manager OMAR FERNANDEZ is a creep and will try to sleep with them or ask them to do "favours" for rides home. He was open and proud about sleeping with an employee (17 years old) in the work place after store was closed. When I asked for numbers to HR he laughed in my face and told me he'd never get in trouble because Dale needs him to much.
