Quality Inn

What a dump! The rooms are disgusting! When we arrived there was poop splatters in our toilet. Carpets are all stained with a a line of dust around the baseboards where the vacuum doesn’t reach. Shower is covered in pink and black mold. I went to Walmart and bought cleaners to clean the room. Next guest who gets 214 might actually think it’s okay from my deep clean. Options of places to stay were limited and we prepaid. So we were stuck. This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Free coffee in the morning tastes like toilet water. Just avoid this place. Run for the hills.

First off when we showed up there was 4 cop cars out front. Rooms are not greatest for the price, gym facilities are not open till 7, now I am sure this is a isolated incident but after I had gone to the front desk to ask about the gym hours (around 5 am) I was told it was not open till 7 so I proceeded to sit in the foyer being that I had sleeping children in my room and I was not tired after 10 minutes of me sitting watching the community TV in front of the front desk I was approached by the front desk attendant and asked if I even stayed at the hotel then told me I can’t sleep in the foyer (I was absolutely not sleeping) I was rather confused and angered at this point and the attendant then proceeded to force me to open my door to prove I was staying in the hotel, I will not be staying at this hotel in the future!

Just save yourself the trouble.

The rooms are small, dirty & overpriced. The staff was uncourteous and generally rude/unpleasant. We ended up going to Sleep Inn for our second night and had a much better experience. Avoid this Quality inn unless you want to go bowling I guess.

The view of the water was lovely I will say that much.

Our room was filthy. I have never been so disgusted at a hotel room. There were potato chips and bits of garbage all over the floor, the bathroom sink was clogged and would fill with water, there wasn't any hand soap provided, the bed headboard was covered in greasy hand prints, one window was missing a curtain, the couch had stains all over it, the walls were filthy and scraped up, and the whole room had a musty smell to it. We had planned to get dinner at the in-hotel restaurant called "Pasta Tree & Smokehouse", yet discovered that despite the name, they only serve breakfast, and are only open from 7: 30am - 11: 30am. Finally, at the end of the day when we went to get into bed, we discovered that the sheets were horribly stained. Some of the stains had chunks around them (see picture), which to me, seems like they weren't washed between guests. My pillow also smelled of body odor, like someone slept with it in their arm pit and it wasn't washed. We asked the front desk employee if we could have house cleaning come and change the sheets while we were out the next day, he said okay, and after getting back to the hotel the next day after our long and busy day, we saw that housekeeping never ended up coming, and we had to spend another night with the disgusting sheets. What a horrible experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The location is good as is the room and the service. I really like that the Muskoka Cruises embark at this location. So happy there are things to do at Quality Inn such as bowl, play pool, have a sauna, two lounge areas along with a nice view of the lake.

I traveled on the ontario northland bus to see my dad in kirkland lake and the bus stopped there as it's rest stop. Nice clean place and I got some snacks to take on the bus with me. The bathrooms are in the basement and take awhile to get to but very clean. Nice days later coming home on the ontario northland bus again we stopped there as our rest stop and I got some butter tarts, cookies and water which were very delicious.

The staff here are all amazing. They really go out of their way to ensure the guests are happy and comfortable during their stay. The location is great as it is centrally located and just a few minutes away from Santa's village. Highly recommend this place:)

Got the room with free rotten pizza Slices under the sofa. Been asking the front desk to make up the room for last 2 days. They won't send anyone.

Been to many motel in bracebridge but this one is one of the best. Got amazing service by the staff specially kaushal shah. Would love to see you again.

200$ for a room with 2 queen size beds. Hotel has no elevator. No breakfast. Next to no television channels. Welcome to price gouging at its finest here in cottage country.

Most of the employees are wonderful. But that being said, one worker at the front desk makes it very clear he doesn’t want to be there while cutting corners doing his job, shows no care for the visitors as I felt like a burden. Went as far as to flat out lie, myself and my family did not feel welcomed whatsoever and I was extremely uncomfortable and anxious for the duration of our stay.

It’s a nice place to spend a night. River view is nice. There is no elevator for 1st floor so keep that in mind. Swimming pool was decent. Sauna is a good addition. Location of hotel is great. Overall a decent place to stay but a bit overpriced in summers.

Great visit to Bracebridge!

Checkin at this Quality Hotel was quick and friendly. Room was ready when we arrived and on water side with view as requested. Looked like room had been recently been renovated. Was clean and comfortable. Hotel itself is older was seemed well kept. There was a pool and gym but we didnt use either. Beautiful dock area directly behind hotel with water access that we did some fishing. Hotel was quite large but so quiet day n night which was so nice. There is a lovely local burger and icecream place across the street that we also enjoyed. We would definately stay here again when in the area.

The building has many levels but no elevators to access those floors if you have any disabilities. The rooms had stains on the carpet and walls as well as peeling paint. Breakfast was good and so was our waitress. The rest of the staff seemed closed off and uninterested. The pool was nice but again you had to go down many stairs with no alternative entrance.

Clean and cozy, right on the Muskoka River, staff friendly, but our room was small and dated with no closet. The TV was big enough but limited channels and no guide. The adjoining restaurant only open for breakfast, and not every day.

Best place in town! Really, I mean that. We have had to make many trips to bracebridge and every place we stayed as not been so pleasant. I was dredging this trip as well. Until I walked into the room and saw what a difference this was. Best thing first was the river view. So cool! The room was very clean. I mean EVERYTHING was clean. The rug looked very clean that I felt comfortable walking in my socks. I didn't have to put a blanket on the chair to sit in. It felt clean and didn't stink. The fridge worked great and kept everything very cold. I don't mind a motel showing its age but just making the effort to keep and make it feel clean is big for me. Thats a comfortable stay. Front service was awesome and helpful. Having a restaurant in the building was a real big plus and good food it was. Wow! Book here…

Easily able to get a hold of staff via phone and were present at the front desk even for our late check in at 11pm. Room and bathroom are clean, bed and linens are comfy. Photos from their site and rooms are as advertised, would recommend and would stay here again

The hallway to the pool was to walk past the front door. It was very cold in winter. I paid for my stay upon CHECK-IN. I asked for my debit/credit receipt to be stapled to my room receipt upon Check out. That was not done. I got home and had to phone (long Distance) to get it sent my mail.
The furnace was quiet and room. The bowling was overpriced and I thought that guests of the hotel would have received a discount for eating breakfast at the restaurant.

Ahh same ole same ole! Nice it's close to town, on the river so sights are kewl, can't say much about the service
