This is one of the very few stores in the downtown area selling Indian groceries. Prices are a bit higher though

Being an Indian I was looking for many cooking ingredients which are used in India. After searching a lot I came across this one and I found each and every spices and vegetables here. Must visit if you are looking for only Indian cooking items.

Get everything Indian you want which you won't get in Walmart or other super stores. However a little costlier than the supper stores

Too many reviews on here about them stealing and dishonest. That happened today. The lady working there is so rude. She charged me twice the amount for an incorrect item that I requested and could not see the inside of the bag until after I paid for it. Once I pointed out their mistake she exchanges the item yet for the correct one yet doesn't refund me for the the correct amount. And they both speak in their own language in front of customers. So effing rude. I think the better business bureau needs to investigate this place. Something off with this market.

I vist this place all the time. Because it carry all indian food. But I do not appreciate how the lady at the cash cheats in cash register. I bout 5 box of sweets. She charged me for 5 but gave me 4 box only. I notice it. But I didn't say anything. I will not go there anymore. But i would like to mention, that Uncle is friendly.

Check the price on your receipt. This store is notorious for charging higher price than marked. My nephew bought 5 small bags for 20$. The owner (lady) is a thief. They have no shame, they do it everyone if you don’t pay close attention. Especially people who don’t speak English and children who don’t know how much money they have.

It's a one stop shop for Indian groceries. Very competitive prices nice and clean place to shop. Owner is also very humble polite and helpful.

Like the other Indian grocery store in foreign countries… you will find most of the Indian groceries here but not sire about the other items which we specially need on indian festivals. The owner is friendly and helpful.

If you live near high park area in downtown near queen street. This is the only place where you’ll get all the necessary indian grocery items. Shop owner is also very friendly.

The owners are super condescending! They think they are the only smart people in the room.
Theres No respect for the customers. They lack customer service!

I would recommend everyone to take the bill and compare it with what you have purchased. They have a habit of putting an extra $1.99 grocery item if you are not giving your full attention to it.did this twice with my wife (who is a new immigrant with simple background and the lady (owner) sensed that she won't ask for the bill.seriously $1.99 where will you go with that money.
You are in this beautiful city/country please follow legal business practices and let it be the same beautiful city.

I’ve been in Toronto for over a decade, and in the west end, there are no better places to get the same selection and quality of spices for making your own blends and masalas. Staff are super helpful with finding some more obscure things, so I will no longer need to drive to north Etobicoke or Mississauga. Found this place too late, but happy I did!

I come here often yet almost every time I am ignored and I have to wait a while before the cashier notices me, and she is always yelling loudly on the phone and I once got a jar of pickle and it had a thick layer of dust on it. I would not recommend this store to anyone the people are rude and it's overpriced.

Bought Cheese late one day didnt notice that it was full of MOULD. When I tried to tell the Gentlemen the next day (I wasn't asking for My money back I didnt take My receipt the night before) just letting him know. He talked to Me like I was a THIEVE and told Me never to come back. I am a Women with NO NEED to be TREATED In Such MANNER. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Great local supermarket.lots of selection on asian, indian and other spices, as well and pre-cooked meals, and samosa and pakora (+more) ready to go take outs!

This is such a good place to visit, this lady is so helpful and is super nice, I have personally seen lady keeping some food aside for helping people. I would personally recommend everyone to visit an shop here.

It's good place to get Indian groceries but I feel they charge little extra compared to other Indian stores.

Do not shop here. The owner thinks it’s acceptable to throw hot water on an Indigenous woman in cold weather because she’s sitting outside her shop. You don’t get to treat Indigenous people or homeless people like this. Shame on you.

A large array of Indian and Asian ingredients. We tried their bakery section with samosas and Indian sweets as well. The sweets were fresh and reminded us of home. Great prices too. Will be visiting again.

This is an Indian grocery store which has many southeast asian items. Although, the place is cozy, they have actually a lot of items that you can't imagine without exploring. They have some Asian vegetables, noodles, spices, rice and so forth. Also, you will find delicious Indian snacks and sweets. They also have a small dairy section. I would definitely recommend this place if you look for southeast Asian foods.

There's plenty of new and nutritious food to try. Always find something new and good. Prices are reasonable.

The only Indian grocery store close by. It is a family owned business. The owners are very approachable and always very welcoming to the store. Fresh fruits and vegetables always. If you're in the Queen West this is the best place to get your Indian groceries.

The owners are super friendly, produce is fresh and they have a great selection of products. I love the samosas and pakoras!

One stop shop where you find all the Indian groceries and vegetables under the roof. Name it and you will find it. From ground spices to cottage cheese, Maggi, Halidiram products, etc.

Located at a prime location - Queen St W.and can be reached by TTC Street Car.

Sometimes I drop in here by necessity when I cannot find a product at Bala's supermarket (which is right across the street from here). The lady at the front has been consistently rude on every visit! The last time I went to pay, she noticed me while shelving, but ignored me for a solid ten minutes. Then walking over, instead of saying something like "sorry to keep you waiting" she quips sarcastically "what's wrong with you? Your face doesn't look alright. " No, I am avoiding this place and its haughty owner at all costs from now on!

Sometimes charges a dollar more than the ticket price on items. So keep an eye out for ur bill.

Best store for Indian groceries. They have all kinds of snack, spices, dessert and frozen goodies from back home!

Very good stock of Indian oriented food products. Easily accessible and automatic doors at entrance unlike few other Indian themed stores. Hassle free with my kid in a stroller. U can use the microwave to heat deserts and samosas, pakodas, jalebis n what not.
