“Re name our” put over Queen Victorias name at this school. LOL what a joke. Canada is going downhill, you try being the Queen of England and do different.

When I went to this school I didn't wanna leave and now that I switched schools I feel broken

Bare bugs in the facility. Need an exterminator for the lunchroom and kids play area. Roaches galore.

First school i attended when I moved to Toronto in the Parkdale neighborhood in the early 2000s (2001-03), had some decent memories as a kid going to this school. I remember at one point being robbed a few dollars in class and one other incident where I badly injured myself playing on the slides and swings.

The food back then was okay but overpriced, most teachers were okay but this was about 20 years back so they most likely all retired or found another job. I had decent grades the 3 years I spent here as a young kid attending grades 2-4. Overall if things are still the way it is back in the early 2000s I would recommend sending your kid here but otherwise find another school to attend.

BTW the gifted program some people mentioned in this comment section did not exist back when I attended this school.

Don't go into the gifted program, it's a normal class except alot of the kids are very loud and annoying and all the normal program kids will hate you.

I moved my (Grade 2) from Holy Family to Queen Victoria and his life changed completely he went from sad child who hated going to school to happy child loves and enjoys his school.

This school offers education with care and love.

I'm still attending this school, its my 9th year in this school and I really enjoy all the teachers, they are very supportive and kind. I also really love the sports they do and how they also add girl sports. The food is really good, we also do concerts a winter and a spring and I love how they also give snacks out in the morning, that's a love. I also really like the fact that they have actually good quality food. I love this school and I still enjoy although i'll be leaving it next year but all in all this place is really fun and good I just wish that the washrooms could improve that's all

Well I've been here since kindergarten. It was a really good school. Key word: WAS. Everything went downhill. This is mainly because of teachers leaving and rules being changed. It wasn't the same experience I had when I was younger. If this school isn't your home school, I don't recommend coming here as much as I used to. If you're here because of the gifted program, good luck because a lot of people leave after a few years.

I used to go to this school. It is not a very good school I had a terrible experience there, and its over all in a terrible neighbor hood not suited for children to be roaming. The food is not good, I used to always find hairs in it. The school itself is very very VERY dirty on the inside and out. Police are always in the school and when I was in 5th grade, 3 people got severely injured and had the paramedics come and take them away. I broke my arm there once because of the slide, I was going down it when a gang of kids started jumping on my arm and it resulted in my arm breaking. I also almost got scars from this school. A lot of the kids have anger issues, and one in particular, jumped on me and clawed my face, the gym teacher had to pull her off my body.
On the other hand, I did make a lot of long lasting relationships at this school. But that was the only thing keeping me from leaving the school. Only bring your kids here if you want your kids to feel depressed and hate the outside world. I only went to this school for 2 years. Grade 4-5 then I left for obvious reasons.

Terrible school, terrible teacher. If I could give it zero starts, I would. Dont go here if you can help it.
