Staff were friendly and service was fast. The stars are for the service, the lack of stars are for the food. Everything was super processed and out of a box basically. Very very bland. I got the Texican chicken wrap and it was seriously tasteless. Like could have at least put a pack of old El Paso on the chicken or something even a pinch of salt would have gone a long way. The chicken was also cold. I get better chicken from a bag in the frozen section of Walmart. It is also quite pricey so I seriously expected more. $20 for a wrap I didn’t eat. Not impressed. Cesar salad was WAY over dressed. My husband got the hot beef dip and it was just a ciabatta bun with dry meat in the middle. Very nice little spot on the inside has tons of potential, food… seriously needs a revamp.

A very cute little place, I'm sure it gets pretty busy, The kitchen area is exposed which is nice so you can keep an eye on things. The staff was super friendly and the food was good. It's very reasonably priced as well I felt like I got good value for my money.

Good place to eat more so for adults but could accommodate children. Outside patios front and back. Seperate booths, but are a little cramped for larger stomach people I found out first hand, tables do move. There are bar stools at bar, and bar tables with tall chairs. Disadvantage doors and windows open with bugs free flying. Kitchen by a main open door. All in good staff and good food with the exception of a little salty gravy.

A nice quiet place for a drink. We didn't try any food, but had craft beer and sat on there patio where the sun was shining, there were some shade spots, and the flowers were very pretty. It was a beautiful scene.

Have been here before in the summer with great service and great food. This visit proved to be disappointing. Ordered an appetizer without plates and no staff to be found so used our napkins. When we advised our server she said nothing. We had our meals delivered again with no check back and had to go to the bar to request another drink only to find the servers all eating behind the bar and talking. Of note there were only 2 tables at the time so volume was not an issue.
Dinner came to 100 dollars. We never had any check backs but had the debit machine brought to our table at lightning speed while we still had 3/4 of a drink left each.
Sad to see such a change since our last visit.

Terrible experience. Went with a party of 5. Took 15-30 mins to take our drink orders while also ordering food. Food came 40 mins later, still no drinks. Tried to order more drinks because of how long it took the first round and was told that last call had already passed. The waitress failed to notify us or call it out to our surprise. We ordered fishbowl cocktails that were served in regular sized cocktail glasses but charged almost double for them. Half of the entrees that were ordered were terrible. Rock hard bread and missing extras that we were still charged for. Rude and non energetic waitress. Almost seemed like she "didn't" want to make any money. Definitely won't be coming back here for quite some time if ever.

Great place to come during the day for some good eats. Excellent staff, very kind and friendly.

We have eaten here often. Loved the wings.except for the last two times we've been there. We have ordered the wings maybe twice in the last couple of months. They've always been really good up untill then. That time, they were very dried out tasting. We let it go and have been there since, trying something else on the menu. Today we felt like wings again so we went there and decided to try them again. We both had a cesear salad which were good, and a pound of wings each. I had medium sause and my wife had mild. With a couple drinks and tip the bill was around $100.
The wings were terrible. The meat tasted old and dried out, and pretty much cold just like they tasted last time. The celery that came with them was warm like it was sitting in room temperature all day. I'm sorry but whoever is doing the cooking should try eating what they are feeding their customers.

It was great! First restaurant in months. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was amazing. Great decor. Loved it.

Service was excellent and food was super quick. But.food was just ok. The restaurant itself is really nice. More veg options would ne nice.

Great English style food at a decent price. They have a great beer collection, including Ontario craft brews. Worth the trip just for their wings.

If you wish to patron a socially irresponsible establishment then this is the place for you and your family. Just ask to be served by Anastasia, and this COVID-19 anti-vaxxer will say hi with a smile with little regard to the public health. Ask the management why they employ people who won't get vacinated but the customers have to show proof of their vaccination status to enter the building. The answer that I receieved was that it was not against the law. Really? Even if so, it's absolutely disgraceful in my opinion. One guess to you as to whom it was that asked for my vaccine status, with a smile of course. I should give this review one star, but Anastasia was friendly at least.

Plastic cups cannot withstand any kind of wind. Should have been glasses for drinks. The food was great though.

1st time here, Hostess were nice and friendly helped me out. Server was good. Food was yummy. Drinks were cold.

Great coming-out-of-COVID experience. Good pub grub and great beer on tap. Wonderful stop on our way home from a day of hiking on the Bruce.

Covered and umbrella patio seating. Masked servers, hand sanitizer, contact tracing. Good food, large portions, fast service. Pleasant servers.

We recently moved to Durham and thought we'd check out The Queens Bush. We have not been disappointed. Each time we visit the service is great, they are always super friendly and are quick to recommend some of the best menu items. I have celiac disease so finding a place that offers yummy gluten free dishes is sometimes difficult but they have so many great options!

Even with all restrictions of covid it was a pleasure to experience some forms of normal life. Thanks to the Friendly and helpfull staff

Had a great dinner and some local craft beers with my wife. Service was excellent. Thursday night rib special is highly recommended.

Great butter chicken, but so far everything I have had over last two years has been great food and service, burgers to quesidillas, wraps etc, and great fries!

Wish I could get there more often than 5-7 times a year.

I had their Beef and Portobello mushroom on a bun with the house salad. A reason now to visit Hanover again.

We had a great experience here. We weren't really sure what to expect of a local pub, but it was clean, friendly wait staff, good menu options, and the food was good too. Would definitely recommend for casual dining and pub food.

Loved the place as a sports bar. But not for a meal out for the evening. Food is for light eating. But does have live music on Saturday nights. Good meeting place for friends. Food is excellent and service is friendly and up best.

Good service, food also. Lots of different beer on tap. Side dish of salad almost same size as the meal size.

The pub to go to in Hanover. I was extra hungry that day so I wish portions were a little bigger. Great draft selection!

Delicious chicken club with real chicken and cheese. Service was excellent. Beautiful day for a patio lunch and drink!

Ordered the ultimate grilled cheese and the texican warp. For the price of $14.99 the grilled cheese was awfully disappointing. Bread was very thin and stale. Bacon was like rubber. Also I got a Cesar salad as my side which came on top of my grilled cheese in the container. Making the sandwich very soggy. First time trying the restaurant and overall very disappointed. Would not recommend

The food here is very nice. The portions are generous without being too large. I had the jerk chicken wrap with loaded baked potatoes. The jerk sauce was flavorful and spicy. I would definitely stop here again.

WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER! Found a large hair baked into the cheese bread that was ordered, roast beef dinner and french onion soup was barely warm at all-nearly cold, glasses were grossly dirty-black tar substance around the rim AND for an 18.99 appetizer all that was served was 4 chicken wings, 2 pieces of cheese bread, 2 potato skins, and the rest cut up vegetables. The restaurant also does not have a deep fryer therefore all pub food is precooked, frozen then reheated as ordered. 2/4 meals were cancelled, sent back and not eaten. Went home to eat KD, lost any appetite after that experience and was VERY disappointed! Considering this, the waitress was very friendly and understanding.

Found hair baked into my cheese bread, and couldn't stomach the lukewarm French onion soup with marble cheese. Only redeeming quality was the lovely waitress. Will never go back!

Foods precooked and microwaved, nothing deep fried on the menu, managers response to complaints was laughable. I think next time I'll just eat the napkins, it would be comparable.

Queens Bush is a decent restaurant but with poor beer selection. I'm sure they are catering to the local crowd, but why not guide people into making a more delicious draft decision? The food is good, the service is usually great, and the free, albeit salty, popcorn is a nice touch. It's our default drinking spot in Hanover. QB always feeling like it's missing something - no one knows what that something is but you'll notice it too

Tasty place with pub food. Unfortunately they don't have calorie counts on their menu, but as a small establishment they are required. Bathrooms are clean.

. Went there with a friend for a glass of wine. Server was quick, n absolutely no rush for us to leave.great atmosphere.

A great, though very filling meal! Very nice server too. Atmosphere was nice and quiet today. Sometimes rather noisier. A nice place to eat!

Drove 200km from Scarborough to Hanover to eat at this local favorite.

The setting is great and has lots of heritage undertones.

Had their special sandwich of the day, which is a smoked meat Swiss melt. It was good. I work in the food industry and know a lot of "made in house" menu items are not really that. But that shaved smoked beef, oh man…I think it is really done in house. Texture is slightly tough, but it's very natural and satisfying to bite into it. The wood smoke is very rich and maybe slightly overpowering. The meat isn't very salty at all, which is a rarity at restaurants. What a sandwich! I honestly can't remember when the last time I had a sandwich this good at a restaurant. Does it make sense if I say the flavour is very humble? That's how it made me feel.

No pictures with this review, as it was a business lunch. And so, no, I didn't drive 200km to Hanover jus to eat here:)
