Queen's Pasta Cafe

Service was good, staff was friendly and the food was plentiful. Just a bit cold if you are sitting by a window on the second floor. Bring a sweater.

We arrived with a party of 8. The staff, especially Tyler the manager (according to him), was reluctant to seat us given the size of our party. They finally seated us as if they had done us a favor, slamming the chairs as they were organising the seating arrangement and literally tossing the menus in our faces! AND then proceeded to inform us that we only had an hour and a half before we had to leave. There was literally two other tables seated in the entire restaurant at the time.

The worst part - we voiced our concerns to the manager, total disregard and sarcasm characterised the response.

We left. I rarely leave restaurant reviews but felt the need to leave this one. They surely went out of their way to make us feel unwelcome. Horrendous service - actually unbelievable.

Will definitely return to this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is prompt and friendly. Great atmosphere too.

This place has a nice patio and a lovely inviting atmosphere inside as well. Good lunch menu along with their specials and reg menu, so you'll definitely find something for everyone. Had the cheese lasagna and ceaser salad, both delicious! My female server wasn't too friendly or checked on me, I'm sure she was busy, but all the other male staff were really nice, attentive, and friendly, so still 5/5.

I don't think I've ever been in a place that has service that can quite match the one I received at Queen's Pasta Cafe.
The staff was incredibly attentive, kind, professional and their service was exceptionally fast.

The pasta has to be some of the best I've had in my life, far nicer even than what I've had in various places in Italy.

The atmosphere felt nice and modern, but also felt very down to Earth and not overdone, which is something a lot of restaurants struggle with, but not Queen's Pasta Cafe. It was just right.

Not only do I recommend it, I'll be sure to come back!

Delicious food, outstanding service. Probably the most diverse and interesting Italian menu I have seen, including several vegetarian options. The portions are generous; regrettably I did not have room for dessert because the selection sounded delicious.

I have been to rhis place several times and I have always felt rushed. The last time that I was here I felt practically like they were kicking me out. The service has never been up to par with the quality of food they've been serving.

Indoor or outdoor dinning. Exceptional service and the food was so delicious that I had only 2 outta the five pictures.

My family and I just had a really nice time at Queen's Pasta Cafe. The food is delicious, the ambiance is wonderful and the service is warm. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

Oh I love this place! I’m literally bringing all my friends from other parts of the town to try Queen Pasta Cafe! What I like about it is not only food, but the full experience of being at a friendly and cozy local place! Their staff are so nice! The food is always amazing! I had veal cutlet with mushrooms and my friend ordered Rigatoni with spicy sausages!

I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars if we hadn’t been made to feel like we should leave because of other reservations. Our server brought the bill and literally said they had other reservations. I knew something was amiss when she didn’t offer the dessert menu to us and seemed almost hesitant when I asked for it. We ordered dessert and were still drinking our coffee when she brought us the bill and made the comment about other reservations. We were three people and spent almost $300 for dinner. The food was very good, but the dinner was marred by the way we were made to feel. If it weren’t for the fact that we were there to celebrate a birthday, I would have let the server know how inappropriate it was to make us feel like we should leave. We were not there very long at all. If they overbooked, that’s not the the fault of the patrons. If time is limited, the person who makes the reservation should mention that. This restaurant has been my go-to place for get-togethers with family and friends, but I’ll be looking elsewhere for those gatherings now— I’m that peeved.

The restaurant is a local spot. The food is pretty decent - but I’ve had better Italian. Each time I come I feel they always put a time limit on the dinning experience, possibly due to other renovations.

Loved the food here. Davon was an absolute sweetheart, and made some really great recommendations. We’re definitely coming back:)

Holy pasta fever! Great wine selection, amazing and very knowledgeable staff. Wonderful patio and so many pasta options you will not be disappointed. Stop by and thank me later.

I'm so confused by the other reviews. I came here via a word of mouth suggestion and was really disappointed. The pasta was not homemade and the vegetables were defrosted frozen veggies. The flavor was bland and the texture of the pasta was very thick. My friends tomato sauce looked straight out of a can and their veggies also looked like they were from a freezer.

I feel horrible writing this review about a "local staple" but even from the photos you can tell the food isn't made in house / looks like it's from frozen packaged food. Two stars since the staff were friendly enough and it was nice to have a patio.

I hope others take a look at the photos before heading here. I wish I had before paying $30 for my dish.

Nine of my family members went to Queen's Pasta for lunch recently. The food was excellent. We were really impressed. We will definately go back there very soon.

Nice diner in the area. Menu selection was wide and servers were nice. I very much enjoyed my veal piccata, and the antipasto pasta was generous and delicious.

The only inconvenience is that the restrooms are up a flight of steep stairs, making it not very accessible

Went for lunch on their outdoor patio. We tried the sandwiches, meatball and the breaded eggplant. Both were delicious!
Also got a Greek salad which was not worth the money, will not be ordering salad from here in the future.
Service was okay.
Patio is a nice spot.

Best ravioli (short rib) I've ever had, other dishes are excellent too (Salmon, Sweet Potato Gnocchi)

The patio is packed so we went inside, the restaurant is cozy. The food is good. I like my hamburger (or they called it sandwiches) with mango chutney. The special-of-the-day pasta is also great. (We’re halfway through dish so I can only take what was left onto another small dish to make it look presentable) The staff is friendly and nice. They also offered my baby some crayons to keep him attended while we ate, so it’s a place suitable for family and children.

I used to like this restaurant. I grew up in the area. I was here on May 31st and I probably won't go back. Felt very rushed. Many restuarants implemented a seating limit during the pandemic but they still have a 1.5 hour limit (which I was not aware of) I went to meet a friend who I had not seen for a while We had just paid (the waitress mixed up our bills so I had to etransfer my friend the difference). We had a few sips of wine left when the waitress came over and loudly said "ladies, I'm not rushing you but we do have a line". We immediatley got up and left. We stood outside talking for a while and ironically they still hadn't seated the parties waiting when we left. We were there for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Definitely DO NOT GO HERE if you want to catch up with someone. Not a great experience.

Excellent. Attentive staff. Great food. Cozy but table well space inside and on the side street patio.

This review is specifically for our server, Andrew. He was super helpful with the order and replaced our pie after we accidentally dropped it.
We ordered a cream sauce pasta and it was super delicious. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Good was okay, not worth all the hype about this place. Service could have been better too.
The pasta really didn't taste home made. It was mid.

Food is good and great drinks! We love the staff here. The pasta is very fresh. I did find the chicken parm a little bland but it was buttered pasta on the side. We would come back to try bolognese!

Food is good, but adding a “1-hour and a half” limit to eat in an Italian restaurant is insane.

Outstanding selections of pasta and wine. Great service. Only wish they had at least one Italian lager beer on tap, (they currently have no beers on tap) so that's why I'm only giving it 4 stars.

It's really good. Good variety of plates and never disappointed. Priced right. Always fresh. Fantastic local eatery- puts a smile on my face every time.

A waiter actually went home to get a ladder and the lovely waitress Paulina held the baby bird until it was put back in it’s nest!

Best overall restaurant at Bloor West Villiage: Unpretentious yet elegant, superb fresh food masterfully prepared, impeccable service. Wonderful flowery patio in summer, cozy comfort in winter.

Good food and drinks, great service. I left my iPhone there and couldn't track it before there was something wrong with the location service. They kept it and charged it for the next 3 days so I could come and find it.

Going back 30 years.this restaurant and pasta company is honestly GtAs best! Pasta is always fresh.food is of the highest ingredients and company integrity is top notch. Love everything about them and the food is second to none. You must eat here and also buy their fresh pasta!

I took my mom and grandma here for Mother’s Day and they loved it! The food was delicious and our server was really sweet—he even gave us flowers! Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Scrumptious food but slow service. Waited for 60 minutes after ordering for the food to arrive. Maybe they received higher footfalls than expected. They made the garlic bread order complimentary as a gesture. LoL

The food was incredible. My girlfriend and I both had a pasta dish and it was mega delicious. The ambience gave a cozy feel, dimmed lights and a small seating area on the ground floor with more seating upstairs.
I've been to Italy many times and have had the pleasure of eating pasta all over the world as well and I must say, this is the best pasta outside of Italy I've ever had!

Food was delicious! We had the caprese salad with grilled chicken. Dessert was great as well. Food was a bit overpriced.

Not impressed. Okay food that’s over priced for what it is. We eat at many Italian restaurants and there was nothing remarkable about this place. Certainly wouldn’t pay $14 for 3 shrimps (appetizer) again. Veal wasn’t good either. The most off-putting experience was a brunette waiter who was very rude and domineering while we were waiting for take out - and to think I left a decent tip (for take out)! I like to support small businesses, esp during the pandemic, but we’ll pass on this place moving forward. For starters, train your young waiters to treat your customers with respect.
