Mrs C has managed this office terribly.
She fails to grasp.basic principals of Canadians perspectives on animals being part of human families, puts off making appointments until the family has an emergency, which would have been solved had she made the appointment in the first place.
HER ACTIONS Have Lead to ptolonged suffering for animals and greater greif by their human owners who are witness to this, and the doctor is so.cockold by her that he does nothing to stop this.

Took me a few years to post this but this veterinarian office is absolutely horrible.
My cat was sick and they said to feed her with a syringe which I complied. Each visit I was told she was alright even though she lost a lot of weight and that I was doing a great job. However I had to seek alternative sources for my pet care.

Queensdale Animal Hospital saved me over $700 on spaying my small dog. The doctor vet is the nicest man who remembers his patients for years (from personal experience). Love this place! ️ 10/10 price, care, service

Our family has had cats for as long as I can remember. Queesdale animal hospital is a fantastic place for care for your pets. The vet is kind and gentle with all animals, and his staff is great. Very good vet and most inexpensive veteran clinic I found. Many years ago, I use to go to Briarwood animal hospital which was a rip off. Briarwood wanted to charge $800 to get my cat fixed because they wanted to add on unnecessary things to having my cat fixed. I shopped around and found queensdale which only charged me $100.

I called on Saturday to inquire about neutering my dog ​​and a woman answered the phone and left my personal information. I wanted to tell her about my dog's special situation, she was very impatient and said they were busy, I said I don't even know the price and haven't made an appointment for me yet, the lady said Tuesday is the earliest time, I said I can Come Tuesday, give me an exact time, and she has my phone busy. I was shocked because the front desk directly hung up on me while I was talking. Until I called again, another person said that they don't have time to talk to me now and will call me later, they have already recorded my call, I said I just want to give some basic information about my dog ​​and make an appointment, She said she would call me in thirty minutes. Then I never got another call from this hospital. I am very disappointed with this service attitude. I can understand the hassle of making an appointment for a new guest during a busy time, but it's beyond my comprehension that they didn't call me back at the appointed time. When I called again today which is Thursday, they didn't even record any information about me. This perfunctory and irresponsible treatment of their guests shocked me and I will never try this hospital again.

I love the attentions and great service I receive every time I take my puppy to the vet. The staff is always friendly and they take excellent care of my baby. Will highly recommend it!

I have been with queensdale now for a few years I've had nothing but great experiences with him and his staff. Today was the hardest day for my husband and I as we had to put our kitty down today. They did everything they could to help diesel but in the end his body had taken a huge impact and there was nothing left to do. I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for all you did for him and the compassion all of you had for us as we lost our first fur baby I highly recommend queensdale to everyone I know

I called this place to inquire about prescription food and the lady who answered the phone was so rude she puts me on hold for 8 minutes to then just hanging up on me.

Called today for quotes on needles and surgeries. Flat out told no they can't do that (why the eff not?). Asked to speak to someone else immediately and they said no like a toddler, even though she was audibly older in age. Hung up on me after all that, abruptly ending the call before ANY questions were answered. If you weren't a b**** on the phone i wouldn't be leaving this message for all to read. If you don't like your job, quit. Bet you wont though, no one else would consider hiring you with whatever customer service skills you think you have. I'm not even sure how they let you answer the phones, let alone touch animals. Do us all a favour and retire. People like you shouldn't be allowed to deal with pets.

They take great care of both my cats. The front desk staff are friendly, courteous, and caring. The vet himself is thorough, caring and informative aswell.

Would reccomend if you can get in.

It’s totally unpleasant to talk to one of the old lady working there, she was rude and dismissive. Don’t be fooled by the good review, this place does not deserve a 4.6 star review. I saw a lot one star reviews are about her, yes, that’s true, she did make this place a one star place to treat your pet.

Best vet we’ve ever gone to. They have fit us in on short notice and have been more than reasonable with prices. They take such good care of our dog and he loves coming to visit them. Which is a big plus in our books. They really love animals and don’t try to upswell. Affordable. I’ll never switch vets.

Yea so the quickest thing for this guy to do is “give the animal antibiotics”. Everytime I have gone here to get something done, antibiotics is the only answer.

Also! I recently took one of my cats in and he had the audacity to pull her skin so aggressively to show how dehydrated she was from being sick. First of all, WE KNEW SHE WAS DEHYDRATED, secondly, WHY IS HE SO AGGRESSIVE!

I’m never returning, if you think something is seriously wrong with your animal, don’t go here. Do you and your pet a favour and go elsewhere.

Nice place, good care but a bit pricy.
But I would pay the extra and have a good chat with the doctor face to face, rather than hand over my animal at the door and talk on the phone like other animal hospitals nowadays.

They went beyond their care. Very professional and understanding. Everyone there was compassionate. Staff was awesome. Highly recommend.

My little baby was quite sick, and had to be brought to the MD at least three times before she was well (no fault of the vet, just the course of the illness).

Staff were just wonderful, and numerous times arranged for my pet to be seen urgently when needed. MD called personally to address some issues she was having and to discuss next steps. The secretaries knew who my little girl was and were so understanding.

Excellent little veterinary office!

Spent several months trying to figure out what was wrong with my cat who was vomiting daily and breaking out in sores. They said I had to keep buying medicine from them, which was only making my cat vomit even more frequently, and buy their EIGHTY DOLLAR bag of cat food from them. Forever.

I trusted this place for too long and I am ashamed it took so long to find a second opinion. New vet immediately diagnosed my cat with a severe allergy to fleas and started him on a monthly flea treatment. In just one week my cat is back to his oldself, the sores are disappearing and I no longer find new puddles of vomit every morning.

I really feel like this place didn't care about my cat and the real objective was to lock me into buying unbelievably overpriced cat food and expensive medication from them, permanently.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Queensdale! I have been bringing my two cats here and all the staff are kind and helpful.

No surprise charges! You pay what you're quoted which is awesome! And no '$HOCK' when you see your bill

Had my dog’s spay appointment. The staff was very kind and helpful with any questions I had on aftercare.

I’d give them less than one star if I could. The receptionists were catty and mean. Why would I ever want these people to look after my animal. Don’t go here!

My family has been taking our dogs to this clinic for years. You can tell the vet actually cares about the animals he treats. The prices always seem reasonable and he never does procedures that seem unnecessary. The staff is always kind and treat our dogs with lots of love. I won’t take my pets anywhere else and I recommend others to this clinic as well.

The staff have always been great with my cats. Very gentle and sincere. Good pricing. I've always had a great experience.

When I had to lay my 19yr old to rest, they guided me through the process and were very helpful with giving me time to say goodbye.

Unfortunately now I own a Cockatiel a beauty too however, Vets in Hamilton do not know how to service Birds. I have to rely on Big Al's to help me.if I can't get to a Avian vet in Brantford On or Guelph

I strongly suggest that this Vet educate himself on how to treat and care for Parrots. I know he would be excellent with them. At the least learn the basics, like clipping and diagnostics

Ist time with my 4-month-old. Assistant was very friendly and asked many questions. I was not impressed with the Dr. He came in and asked if I had any concerns, which was his ears. He gave the needle check the ears said what was wrong and prescribed a prescription. He didn't examine him in any other way. He didn't say when he should be back or what he would be getting next time. I was very disappointed with this Dr. My pup will go for the next appointment but that will be it.

I took my new puppy here to get his final set of shots and have decided to transfer my older dog to this vet as well. I was thrilled by their reasonable costs as well and no pushy upselling

Dr. Chaudhary is amazing! And all his staff. I almost had to put my 6yr old Great Pyrenees down earlier this year. She was sick for a lot longer than I had thought and he went above and beyond to save her. He cancelled a couple afternoon appts to do emergency exploratory surgery on her as her blood work and urine test we inconclusive and she wasn't going well at all. He ended up doing surgery on her until late at night. She ended up having a serious problem and if he didn't do it she probably wound not have made it. He absolutely saved her because he honestly cares. He also saved my 10yr old male cat that had crystals, I feel if I would have taken my animals somewhere else the outcome may not have been the same for either of them. He goes above and beyond. I won't go to another vet as long as Queensdale is around. Prices are great, service is great, everything is great! Thank you sooo much for all your honesty help and care for all my fur babies!

Called as an emergency due to my pups ear being torn over an inch hoping to get her looked at. They turned us away told us they could make an appointment 2 days from now or call another vet.

We had are 2 adopted furry children in to get neutered and micro chipped and the people there were very friendly and professional, i would recommend them to anyone.

This review unfortunately comes 2.5 years after my experience with Queensdale Animal Hospital, but 2.5 years later I still feel the anger of what I went through everytime I look at my cats ashes, enough that I've finally decided to write my review.

In January 2019 my cat was releasing his #1's and #2's and puking everywhere and was hiding a lot, I also noticed he had an odd lump under his abdomen, something was clearly very wrong, so I brought him to this hospital.
Right off the bat the vet was dismissive and with a shockingly fast physical exam declared with such confidence that he simply had high stomach acid levels and prescribed an antacid.

That did not help at all and by mid February he was in much worse shape and would not come out of hiding, I took him to a different hospital nearby that within seconds of touching my cat knew it was cancer, confirmation tests happened and it turns it was late stage adenocarcinoma and he had weeks at most to live.

This other vet stated that a simple proper exam back in January would have very easily found this, and that if treatment had been done immediately he would have had at least some sort of fighting chance, but it was now too late and the cancer had spread too far, we had to put him down.
I would not be as mad about this as I am if it were not for the cocky and dismissive attitude of the doctor.
He was put down less than a month away from his 10th birthday.

Called for help with my 14 year old companion in critical condition and all I got was "we're booked". No sympathy, no suggestions. I'm glad the next vet clinic was able to provide useful info.

Best vet in the hamilton area! Always willing to accommodate when and if your cherished pet is in need. Would highly recommend!

I've been taking all my pets to Queensdale for a few years now. I love that I get the same Vet everytime. (Unlike other clinics where it's a different person everytime) I feel this gives our pets and myself a much more personal experience.

My little girl Hope was sick & they fit us in right away. They always take such good care of us. Friendly, helpful staff & the doc is very caring. To top it all off, great prices. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks for all your help whenever we need it.

I brought my male dog max to the facility to get fixed. The staff there treated us very well. Max actually wanted to go to see the people there. I would recommend this vet.

I wish I could leave ZERO stars. The lady who answered the phone was beyond rude and unprofessional when I told her we had just found a dog running loose, wearing a cone, with no ID less than a block from their office. Disrespectful and no compassion for the situation. I would expect some guidance or at the very least a kind response.

Switched to Queensdale after years of going to another vet in Hamilton and I couldn't have made a better choice. Absolutely loved how they cared for my dog before and after her surgery. They answered all of my silly, paranoid dog mom questions, and had very affordable pricing. I have never felt so at ease leaving my dog at the vets. You can immediately tell by the atmosphere that this is a group that truly loves and cares for animals and their wellbeing! Highly recommend.

TL;DR Can't complain: Provides adequate care to its patients, just don't expect any above-and-beyond levels of service to make your own experience better.

Average service, expectations met. They don't volunteer a lot of information about your pet, so be sure to ask if you want to know anything specific. I imagine it's because of how busy they always are.

That being said, they also don't try to sell you on anything you don't ask about, either, such as foods or pet insurance.

Don't expect to receive reminders about services that need to be regularly done (e.g, if your baby needs to go in once a month for a routine procedure, you have to remember to book in. They won't call and remind you).

But they do take care of your animal when it's there, which at the end of the day is what's most important.

Dr Chaudhary truly cares about and loves animals and it's very apparent in his patient, thorough manner. I've brought my cat here since he was a kitten and I've never once felt rushed or unsure about his health. I brought my cat in a couple days ago and the clinic was absolutely jammed but Dr Chaudhary was so thorough, calm and willing to answer questions and the vet techs were also super lovely. This has been my experience everytime I've come in. This clinic is not out to scam anybody and when things are necessary, the prices are very reasonable. I have so much trust in the staff here and I couldn't be happier that I chose this clinic!

My furbabies have been here from day 1 The staff is fantastic always helpful and i can always have my babies seen when an emergency comes up. First time there with our new puppy. Very friendly, very helpful. As of this writing you have to have an appointment and must phone from the parking lot before entering the building. They will call you back as soon as they have space for you and your pet. Great place!

They are fantastic there! We have a 180lb Rottweiler whom everyone we took him too for regular grooming was afraid.of his sheer size because he is very not aggressive but very big and these girls whom all are smaller then my dog lol. Take him and do his nails and ears with no issue, and he completely submits! They are sensitive and thorough! And fairly priced!

Rude. My vet was out of my puppy food Girl was so rude to.me.wouldn't even answer my question. They obviously don't live animals. All about the mighty $$$$

I brought my cat in after she was showing some signs of a neurological issue. Covid protocols were great, we were the only people at the clinic. It was very affordable ($80 for an exam and pain meds). The vet also supported me feeding my cat a raw diet.

Unprofessional service! They did not let me in due to pandemic. My dog could not obvioustly talk by himself. I had to explain the issue to the clinic clerk when dropping off my dog and she was accepting many more pets at the same time. Not sure how she could manage remembering all the details. And just imagine my dog was under pain and now had to stay away from me in a place where i am not around! After 20 mins doctor called while i was outside the building, waiting. I rexplained the issue. They could not spot the problem. My dog was limping and they gave me painkillers! No xray, nothing! As if painkiller was supposed to resolve the cause of pain. When i insisted on xray, the doctor said sorry it is late and you need to come back another day! Which means another charge, another wait. And my poor dog is suffering!
Finally had to take him to another vet to find out it was an skin sensitivity under the paw!
Queensdale doctor is litterally ineficient. Clerks were helpful though. 2 star only thanks to the clerks. Otherwise even 1 star is too much!

Queensdale Animal Hospital is an excellent choice for anyone who cares about the health of their pet. Dr. Chaudhary is such a caring veterinarian and provides excellent professional care to both of my dogs. All of the staff are so kind and welcoming.

We have been SO happy with the staff and services (and prices!) at Queensdale. When we got our puppy earlier this year, we took a "shot in the dark" as far as choosing a veterinarian. We got so lucky when we chose Queensdale and would recommend them anyone.

Very kind and responsive people at this vet, both the vet and the staff. Prices are also verrrrry reasonable compared to other vets I've been to in Oakville and Burlington.

We go to another clinic usually but wanted to switch. We went to this clinic to get our new Kitten checked out. The vet pretty much just looked at her and said she was ok. Did not check her heart or lungs but did check the ears. I left there thinking that it was a waste of time and money. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, all (except the kitten) have been taken to the other vet with a much more thorough exam. I will not be returning. Shame that this clinic came recommended by friends.

Cant stress this enough, to all pet owners. They spayed both our dogs for a fraction of the cost that any other quote I got in the city, extremely friendly and profesional. Officially our new vet. Very happy, and our dogs luna and princess feel fantastic! Thank you!
