Wental at 450 for my appointment, which was at 5, sar in the room until 555 and no one came in. I left the room and rebooked. My dog was getting uncomfortable waiting for so long.

The staff and veterinary were awesome. They are very well organized, very precousious in handling my cat, answered my questions and will do a follow up after a monitoring on one of my concern.

Very time I call they answer with happy voice when i go to the office they all friendly and I take my pet lily she love to go there they treat her very well her dr Alison Moore she is a sweetheart but lily’s had other because Alison was not there and all amazing thanks Queensway veterinary hospital Simcoe

All the staff at Queensway treat our dogs like their own. We just endured an emergency situation and everyone was so kind, helpful, and supportive. A great experience for both pet owners, and pets. Was easy to book an appointment, and get our new puppies the care they need. The vet, along with their assistants were very helpful and informative. They explained everything in simple terms, and gave great recommendations. They were so gentle with our babies.

I moved to Simcoe in 1992. All our fur babies have been seen at Queensway Veterinarian hospital. Our last rescue really liked Dr. Hill. Our pets never showed signs of anxiety while visiting. Your operation is well known as far as Lyden, Burlington etc.and has an impeccable. Reputation.
Milo was very confortable for her first visit to QVH!

After being turned away from our regular vets in our time of crisis they kindly took us in with my very sick pooch and were so kind and understanding.they understood how difficult the decision to euthanize our beloved little dog was and were kind patient and supportive.i will forever be greatful and they have a new patient with my younger dog.

Brought our puppy in for his second shots. Dr. Brian Hill was through, and patient. He took the time to answer our questions, and concerns. Our pup was very comfortable with the entire experience. The assistant was kind and gentle.

Best vet services I've ever used for my animals- and I have to drive out of town to get there. Prices are affordable and the care is superior. I have not had a bad experience with any of the vets on staff. They take emergencies without gouging people-there's no "emergency" charge- and try to accommodate walk-ins. The vets use common sense and you are not pressured. Great place.

I really appreciate being able to stay with my dog during the visit. Dr. Nazarali answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable, kind, and honest. He was patient with was dog who was nervous.

2 hours and $500 to be told no idea what could be wrong with my cat. Paid for an xray I was told they couldn't read. No suggestions of things to watch for or at home things to try to help her feel better. Just 2 hours waiting, payment taken and ushered out the door.

Friendly staff but I Brought my 12 month old cat in for her second round of shots (was a new client) only to get the bill back and it was $158…. I reviewed the receipt and there was an extra $80 for an “examination fee”. I was not consulted before hand before proceeding with any examination… I only wanted her second round of shots. I was not pleased and will definitely not be returning in the future.

My dog recently got neutered, we paid for a cone and upon arrival, my dog did not have a cone to be sent home with. After realizing we returned to the office and he was not fitted properly for his cone. During his healing, he has been able to lick his incision site and now has more damage around the incision site because he is able to reach and the cone is nicking the skin around the incision site. We have brought this up to the clinical and they have not provided any solution other than to bring him in for a different-sized cone when we live almost an hour away. They also did not allow us to come in when he was getting blood work I asked to go in and they still would not allow for it. This makes me feel uncomfortable as dogs do not have a voice of their own and rely on their owners to advocate for them. Overall, disappointed with the way the office problem-solves issues that were created from their own errors and mistakes.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Hill was knowledgeable and calm and collected, lol, but how can you not be around a 3 month old puppy?
A bit pricey, but such is life, if you want the best for your furbaby the regular visits are so worth it.
Did I mention that I drove 40 mins from a town with at least 15 vet clinics? ! So worth it!

Great, caring vets and support staff. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the long wait for appointment times due to Covid restrictions, staffing and patient volumes.

***DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE***

If I could rate less than one star, I would. Unfortunately we had our 11 year old dog pass away last week. We have been with this vet since he was a puppy, and have not been able to get an appointment for him in the past year. When he got sick, we called queensway and explained that this was an emergency and our dog needed to be seen as soon as possible. We were told the earliest they could do was the following Monday (we called on a monday), or to call the next day for a “same day appointment”. If there’s time slots for a same day appointment, why couldn’t he be seen? On his final day, we called this vet again and explained the situation to them. Not only did they lack compassion, but they were also very rude to us on the phone. We took Cody (my dog) to an emergency vet only to find out he had stomach cancer - something that could have been detected if we could get an appointment sooner. He was put down immediately.

Today we received a card in the mail from the emergency veterinary clinic, signed with condolences from all their employees. Queensway has yet to reach out to us, even though they know Cody was put down. To add insult to misery, I called today to get my cat in for an appointment and was told the earliest I could get an appointment would be October. The girl on the phone pulled up my families account (which would have stated Cody died) and she didn’t say a word about it. This vet clearly lacks compassion and doesn’t actually care about the pets. It’s very obvious that this is all about the money. A staffing shortage is not an excuse for a lack of compassion - and judging by these comments, I’m not the only one to notice.

Unbelievable how much queensway vet has changed. Had the worse and last appointment ever. Never been treat so disrespectfully. The vet never looked at me, my pet was there for a rabies shot, during exam. “LETS TALK DENTAL” on and on she talked, in and out of the room. Push a paper to me. Sign here. Never gave me a chance to read, came back for a initial, I had a chance to read where the initial was. I am agreeing to procedure. No, no, no! I was kept in the room. Every time I went to go out and pay, I was pushed back into the room. The your girl came in with the payment machine. I said “ do you think I’m going to run away? “ I pushed the paper toward her, you tricked me. I am not agreeing to teeth cleaning charge of 1,000.00 + + + I won’t be back! 40 plus years. When DR. Plater had the business he was the best. Getting down on the floor with your fur baby. This place is all about the DOLLAR. 31.50 for a nail trim? Really! They failed in every area of veterinary service.

We have taken our pets to Queensway for years. We have always had sincere, caring service, from the vets and staff.
We have found recently the front desk staff not to be as friendly, no hello, no goodbye, and certainly no thank you.
Not sure why as a smile and a thanks for your business does not cost anything.
Again this is no reflection on the vets Brian and Alison, they always were and still are wonderful.

This is the worst vet clinic, they give your animals shots without asking, and don't tell you about the fees I will not be bringing my puppy there again.

Our dog who is five, has always gone to this vet. She was bitten by another dog yesterday, we were headed to the vet and they told us they already had a few emergencies, that they couldn’t take us. Directed us to emergencies after care in brantford which didn’t open till 6pm, 3 hours away. Meanwhile our dog is crying and bleeding in the car. We were left with no where to go. We stopped at Grand River vets, told them what had happened, they took us in, were great and looked after our dog. We have had her records transferred here. What a difference in caring and compassion!

I’ve spent several thousand dollars at this establishment on my dogs. When I needed them most they let me down. Getting an appointment nowadays there is usually several weeks away. Disappointing that my aging dog who needed help couldn’t get it. Shame on you!

Took our 6 year old pug there for an xray, he's coming home in a darn URN! Took ages to get a hold of them to even set up the appointment and when he became unresponsive they didn't let us know and wouldn't have if it wasnt for my dad phoning about 10 times to see when he was done his appointment. My family is devastated beyond words. Would NOT recommend

It's almost impossible to get through to someone here. They won't answer their phone and my dog is having an emergency so I have to go to another vet.

I have been taking my pets to Queensway for 11 years now. All of the staff members are kind, compassionate, understanding, patient, professional, and helpful.

They used to be amazing.but now its gone way down hill, I used to drive an hour to go there! I had my boy there and from the little info they told me, he was stressed and wouldn't let them examine him so I went home with meds they told me to give him an hour before I go (they said I wouldn't notice any difference but it would take the edge off for him) well we didn't end up seeing the vet, instead they prescribed something stronger to try next time. Well 4 and a half hours later my dog can't even stand up so I called back and after 10 mins on hold they said well its probably the meds kicking in late.the meds that wernt supposed to have any noticeable signs.still have a dog that hasn't eaten in 2 days and been to the vets twice to not even be seen at the appointment.

I had been feeding a stray recently and I noticed this morning that it looked like it had been hit by a car. The staff were so wonderful. They got me right in with this poor kitty. Dr Hill was so very kind and compassionate. I really appreciated it. ️

I gave up trying. They weren't accepting new clients at the end of 2020, which is fair. In 2021 they did not pick up the phone after about 10 tries over several days or respond to my email. Not looking for my business.

Great veterinary hospital. Not only great doctors, but knowledgeable staff. Great prices as well, especially compared tothe city. I drive from Hamilton to Simcoe for the great service.

Staff have never steered me wrong, and they aren't quick to try and make a buck. They've told me to hold off going in to see if things improve, and I've also been told when they recommend I go in immediately. I don't second guess their judgments.

Only only thing I've ever had wrong was a price discrepancy between the doctor (surgeon) and the front desk staff. Miscommunication between the two. I didn't want to start an argument so I paid and wasn't too happy because my cost doubled. But upon post surgery checkup I reconfirmed the agreed upon price with the doctor and they refunded the cost no problems.

I have been using this vet for 10+ years and they have always treated my animals very well. I'm not pressured into doing tests that I do not feel are necessary. They are quick to get my pets in when they are not feeling well. Just recently I had to put my beloved cat to sleep and everyone that was there was wonderful. The prices are lower than other places and I will continue to go here as long as I have pets.

First time and they are so organized during this pandemic. Friendly staff and Dr.phoned me as we sat in car and then called again when the app.was over to explain what shots were given and then they brought my dog outside. Great service.

Will not return e-mails or phones calls to make a simple appointment.
Very unprofessional. Has let myself and my dog down during difficult times.
Also Phone number provided on website and spam emails is not in service.

Amazing service. Wouldn't trust my fur babies with anyone else! They have heart and offered us a payment plan in emergency which we happily didnt need because they have the best prices in Southern Ontario IMO.

Everytime we take our daisy for her pedacure or checkup were always greated with smiles and laughs very nice staff we enjoy the short visit even if our fur babies dont lol will keep comming back

Great value! You want to look after your furry family members, but you don't want to pay more than necessary - this is the place. We travel about 45 minutes to get here, passing by more expensive vets on the way. The staff is always understanding and caring.
