It would be my first and last to take my car in this place. I purchased a Groupon for oil change $19 and upgrade to Synthetic oil (Paid Extra $29) was 3 month ago. Yesterday I did my own oil change, what I've found out that my car oil filter was a original from dealer Hyundai, which meant they did not change the oil filter. Have anyone ever checked after oil changed that is new oil filter they put in

Bought a Groupon ‘deal’ and went to get oil change done and they said the filter for my Hyundai car had an up-charge and also charged me an extra $13 for ‘full service’ when in the Groupon deal I didn’t have to pay anything but taxes came to $25.13 plus the Groupon deal, How is that a deal? Please do yourself a favour and don’t go here! Crooks!

First time ever getting stuff done on a vehicle and thought it would be a hassle for my first car. Was surprisingly easy and quick. Will be returning in the future.

Scam for Groupon - they will tell u that you can only use ONE Groupon /life of a car. If you have used Groupon even once for one car, u can’t use it again. Had to pay 3 times more than what I should have. Very deceiving business practice. BE very ALERT.

BUYER ALERT! Never use this place even if they offer oil change for free. I wish I could give them a zero star.

I visited them a couple of weeks ago (Feb, 2023) with a Groupon for oil change and tire rotation service. I had been there in the past a few times and have noticed the staff to be arrogant even answering simple questions like which oil brand/type they use, what services are they performing on my car, they just pose as if they are doing it for free. One thing I have noticed each time is that when I asked them to rotate the tires (as they commit on the Groupon), they come with a very weird excuse of not doing it.

1. I have had not rotated the tires for a while, this time I was expecting them to complete the service they promise on the Groupon, and again the same excuse that the tire treads were not allowing them to swap the tire. I told them its mentioned as a service on your Groupon and one main reason I bought it, the response was "go talk to Groupon". After insisting a few times, the staff told me "we dont care what you say, just get the oil changed and leave". I asked them to connect me with their owner/manager, at first they said, they are out of country and cannot be reached. After I insisted they called someone who apparently was the owner, and all of sudden is now available while "traveling abroad". That person started yelling at me from the very word go, to the extent using swear words, "get the f**k out of here", being racist - I have recorded all the conversation on my cell phone and can share if anyone is interested.

2. They keep things so secret, I don't know whether they actually changed my car oil, changed filter or what not.

3. Be very careful if you ever go there, its a shady business with no customer service or satisfaction expected.

I got my remaining groupons refunded (thanks Groupon), and have blocklisted them forever. Never going there.

They were friendly and there was no trying to up sell me on anything else. Very fast. Will use them again in the future.

Very helpful, easy going and do not put pressure to make a sale of other services. Which helps a lot, I avoid shops who force offers constantly.

I trust this place with my car, I know they will tell me if there is something wrong with the car and they won't make things up to charge me more. The service is great as well!

Oil change was quick and main thing was that bad oil was sucked through vaccum pipe above the hood without opening bolt under the car engine.

Love this place. Their oil change price is really good, the service is very fast, and the team is super professional. Will be returning soon!

This is the only place that I will ever change oil at. They’re fast and professionals. And so friendly. Ask for Peter he’s amazing

UPDATE: I actually did call multiple times and all your workers are telling me something different. We also called while we were with the other mechanic who actually fixed our car and he told your worker that they did not doit properly and there was a leak. However, they still said I will get a refund. It has NOT been more than 2 months. Last week I was really sick all week and didnt even work. I didnt want to come into your business like that but I had you guys in the back of my mind.

You are pretending to be accommodating on the review, but over the phone you were so rude and stubborn. Dont try to save the face of your business, you dont know a single thing about running a business. I paid by card but you told me “we dont have a cash register where I can just give you cash”. DEBIT payments are refunded through your DEBIT machines (which you do have). Just your grammar and punctuation when replying to every review shows lack of customer service and professionalism.

Wish I could give 0 stars. They messed up my oil change to the point where my brand new car was leaking oil. It could have blown up my engine had I not taken it to another mechanic to get checked. Now Im asking for a refund and these guys are sending me on a wild goose chase. Every worker is telling me something different, and the manager is saying I cant get a refund. I had to drive 45 minutes and back twice with no refund because every time I was told the lousy manager isnt in or to ask groupon for the full refund. My dad warned me of this place, I should have listened. Cheap means CHEAP! DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!

I had the Groupon deal which covers 5 liters oil. They charged me Xtra because it took 5.7 liters.

Quick is an understatement! It was more like in and out oil change. Great service, super nice guys, and no wait time! Will definitely be heading back here for all my car needs. The service is 100x better compared to your general oil change locations like Midas and jiffy lube. Don’t think twice before booking!

The guy is rude, obnoxious and a scammer. Do not go there. Many other shops around that are professional and treat with respect. Groupon should not allow such fraudulent merchants to operate thru their website. SHAME ON GROUPON

The team here is so kind. They are quick and efficient and they don’t try to scam you into paying for all these unnecessary secrecies. They’re honest and that’s really all I can ask for considering when I’ve gone to mr. Lube, I’ve somehow left with a bill for almost $500:)

Great place, great staff, great service, took my truck and my wife's car will go back again. They also have great wholesale prices on tires summer or winter. They flush transmissions and transfer cases as well. Taking my second truck there very soon.

Quick and efficient. You actually see the new bottles of oil they put in. Always had friendly experiences at the Speers road location. Great prices on tires too if you need them.

Just went ahead and did more than I had asked for so what should've been a simple cheap oil change was more than double the price

It’s unprofessional team and bad service, I purchased the voucher from Groupon with $16 and once I went to change the oil and filter and I have informed them I have voucher to not charge me for oil and filter, they said yes no problem bring your car inside and once they changed oil and filter he said that the charges is $ 43 for oil and filter which is extra charges and once I am asking them why he said your car needs a special oil and my car is Corolla and he did not inform me before start change the oil and filter then he said pay this amount without any problem which is happened and I said that this is not good service and unprofessional way to get the customer in this way he said I did not care, really I am so sad for this experience.

You must let me know about the extra charges before starting the job as I asked the manager is this coupon is valid at your shop to change the oil and he answered yes leave the car and we will change the oil and I am asking before leave a car is there any extra charge he answered no, so he is lying and he doesn’t say a true and what happened!

Had them install winter tires on rims with pressure with tire pressure sensors, balance and calibrate. Great customer service.only thing is my shoes were oily from walking to the lobby to wait. Very quick and friendly service and great price. Watched the team do a thorough job.would recommend again.

Arrived at 9 am and didn’t have to wait a minute. Very professional and was in and out with 15 minutes. Have been using them for around 4 years now

I was in for an oil change over the weekend. We talked about the price and proceeded with the service. Since there were no customers at the premise, they did the service immediately. Upon payment, I was charged an extra $12.50 claiming that my car needed an extra litre of oil. Also, while changing oil, they somehow messed up my heating shield where now my vehicle is running with continuous rattling noises. Big disappointment!

Great and efficient service. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to add to your bill, despite already getting a great groupon deal. They were very transparent, showing the things that were done. Would definitely go back!

Excellent friendly service, everything was explained. They informed me of some minor fixes that should be completed and why but put no pressure to fix them today. Very helpful and thoughtful. A+ service completed quickly.

I purchased 2 Groupon oil changes and they did not accept the 2nd voucher. Apparently you can only use their promotion 1 time. They told my husband they would use the Groupon at checkout instead of looking at it when he entered. The oil change cost him $55, instead of the promotional deal of $14.95 (+ applicable fees). He would have left if he was made aware of this. I've used them in the past and they never brought up this issue.
I will not be dealing with this company again. They are not transparent with their policies.

Very very UNPROFESSIONAL! Peter doesn't know how to deal with customers.
Please check with them before using your Groupon voucher!
When I went for an Oil Change, I noticed that Peter refused to accept a Groupon voucher for a customer before me. Thus, before getting an oil change, I told him that I'm also using a Groupon Voucher. I was verbally told that it was fine and I could use my voucher. After the oil change was completed, Peter told me that he cannot accept my voucher and he charged me the full price for an oil change. I reminded him that I checked before getting the service but Peter started to raise his voice and started misbehaving. He said that I would have to pay the full price and asked me to talk to Groupon to get my refund. When I refused to pay the full price, he shut the garage doors on me so that l could not leave. I had to call the police for help.
Lesson: Ask them to check your Groupon code in the system before performing the service. Don't let them do the service first and then tell you that you can't use your Groupon and would have to pay the full price as per their wish!

Fast but auwful service. First time they misplaced the oil stick, sticker for ref oil when I paid synthetic. Second time lid for air filter was not close properly, tires didn't get check then no refill when it was needed.

They try to stop you from using your groupon and honestly dont even think they know how to read.the fine print of their own package. Upcharge on OEM oil filters even when "premium oil filter" is to be included, which they install and then demand the upcharge without discussing in advance. Oil leaked had to return and Peter (manager) immediately became beligerant with his limited vocabulary of choice insult words whislt acting like an abused & deranged loonitic pounding on the car and demanding to leave as he had no desire to correct their mistake.and safety issue. They also pretend tire rotation isnt part of the advertised package and frequently blame Groupon for flaws with their system. They didnt do a proper safety check either, but not sure they are even qualified to do so. ABSOLUTE GONG SHOW. AVOID! Spend the extra $5 and go to a professional shop.

I drive a BMW i3 and the service was excellent and very quik. They did an amazing job, the representative checks all the fluids and the previous car I owned it was a Yaris he knew exactly what and when needed replacing. For a low price you get beyond the requested service.

This is a really great place to get a. Oil change. I go in from Toronto to get a oil change. They are very professional, the timing is amazing, the price is good and they check your other fluids and will top things up if needed. They will let you know if your filter needs a change and ask you if you want if done before doing it. The staff are really nice and friendly. Great place.

They wouldnt let use groupon.ad said per person not per vehicale so it doesnt make sense had not time to call cops.the owner rude and unprofessional try to make money at any cost wont be coming back.disputed charge and won.avoid this scaminning business

I purchased a Groupon for my dad to get his oil changed. He took his car in and advised the gentleman at the counter that he was there for an oil change and that he had a groupon. He provided his groupon number and the individual advised him that he has to pay an additional $5-$10 for the oil change. My dad left and came back and they asked him to pay for the complete oil change because he did not have a groupon deal. My dad realized he had come to the wrong place - this shop is connected to another shop and they failed to tell him after he provided his groupon # that he was at the wrong place. They changed his oil and then charged him for the oil change. They could have contacted him and told him that his groupon code wasn’t working or that he did not have a coupon with them but instead they chose to take advantage of the customer. They changed the oil and then charged him for the full price. It was completely unethical. For this reason alone, I will never refer anyone to quik oil change and neither me or my dad will come here.

The team at Quik Oil Change are quick and thorough, every time I visit I am greeted by the polite staff and owner and I am very happy with the service. I was in and out in no time

Went through groupon for second time. Before service we showed group on code and also told that this our second visit through group on. The employee there acknowledged it and started the service. After completing the service another guy came and said that you have to pay for the service with out using this group on coupon as you already came earlier through group on you cannot use even a new coupon and he started behaving rudely.as soon as i started recording it he changed his tone and started telling us they we have insulted him and he will cops.oh really this is how you treat your customer? By seeing me recording this one of his employee started recording my face zooming it and was laughing at me. He even gave us dare that you can go to anyone court, group on or police doesnot matter.even he was threatening us to call cops.never faced such disrespectful service from any car servicing store before.guys try to respect your customer even as a human being try to be honest.this is total dishonesty.you could have told us before starting the service when we have disclosed this is our second visit through groupon.

For shop owner-Guys don't be so over confident.i am never going for sure.you have been doing this for 5yrs (we found through old reviews) there is always a threshold for bad deeds some day you will face your karma for sure.just be honest towards your business overall being a human. I didn't speak a single word there.my husband tried telling you how your employee expected it before servicing and you are showing us cops threats.you were insulting us by raising your voice which you did with ever one who went second time through group on (old reviews). We never said we will not pay.never spoke a single slang word then how can we insult you? Just wait for the day when people will stop coming as you asked us not to.

They did not honour the Groupon coupon based on the fact that my car has been there once before. That part I understand, but the fine print should be more clear.

Got an oil change with a groupon about a month ago my car started leaking oil shortly after. Something wasn't tightened properly. It also looks like they didn't even change the oil since it's dark, just topped it up. Not sure what they did/didn't do but definitely disappointed. We've come here before and didn't have problems. Hard to trust them again after this, won't come back again. Now I have to get another oil change.

This place really lives up to its name! Most times I'm in and out in under an hour. Extremely efficient and professional, not to mention great value. I started out using a voucher, but will likely continue coming here for my regular oil changes and any major work I need done. I like the energy.

Worst Service ever.took my car in which had no problems, used a Groupon to pay, which the owner was mad at. This makes no sense as you put your company on Groupon to increase sales and receive new customers. As soon as I tried to pick up my car they said there was about five different issues wrong with my car (I know were not true because it was checked and maintained every few months). I wasn't even able to drive 30km before my engine light came on and started smoking. Never take your car here unless you want them to destroy it so they can make more money by fixing it.

I have had about 10 oil changes done here over the past couple of years (two family cars). Owner is very professional and friendly. They have honoured my Groupon the first time and after trying the business I switched to their package. I then switched again to buying my own premium synthetic and taking it there. No issues at all, very friendly and quick. I was there again yesterday, they usually have nice music playing and due to covid it is now drive thru service. I was happy to see the business hire diverse employees and even a female technician. Good job folks and thank you.

I went in for an oil change and the next thing I know the guy working on my car says they broke my tire pressure sensor. (I filled it not too long ago on my own and it was perfectly fine) and on top of that they tried making me pay for their mistake! I waited for about an hour for them to fix it and finish my oil change and they overcharged me. And as I was leaving my vehicle started smoking and my alternator died! I went in for a simple oil change and had to get my car towed.never coming back again!

It was ok. Used the Groupon deal but was told to pay an additional 40$ for a synthetic oil change. It was ok. Didn't find it to be a great deal

I have never given a poor service review before but here is my first. I have been to this location at least 4 times before using Groupons. I went today and the mechanic told me I can't use my groupon coupon as it's one per customer charging me full price. I questioned him on it as this has never been an issue before and I have NEVER been so RUDELY spoken to by an individual in a service profession before. I WILL NOT BE BACK AND I ADVISE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.

This place was pretty clean and professional. Staff were friendly and open. Didn't see any issues with the process. I was there for an oil change on a tuesday at 3pm so this could be a reason for the good service. Some comments by others state bad service.but depending on which day and what time.you should temper your expectations. They will give you details about other services.but if you don't want them.just let them know. I was not pressured. I'll go again and see if I get the same good service. Let you know.

Man named peter literally just ripped me off. I paid for a groupon, he refused to honor it told me he was gonna “cut me a deal” and charge me 30 for an oil change (after I had done the work and couldn’t change my mind) when I told him that I didn’t want to pay he got angry said and held my car hostage until I paid 55.

Guy is a criminal and a crook.

Professional and courteous but made me wait 10 min to cash out after being called up. Problem with the computer. Ok fair enough but then once I paid. They did not have the courtesy to open the door and drive my car out instead proceeded to check out the person behind me first which took another 7 minutes before I was sent on my way. Hence only 3 stars

Another good visit at quick oil! Today I lucked out and got the boss again- he is the best. I never have a problem going here. They are not like most drive though oil change places that lie and say u need this and that and you dont.if u need it - they tell you.

My car has been having problems starting alot this week. I almost thought I was calling caa yesterday and swore my fuel pump was going. I went for my oil change today cause it was over and the boss told me. You need a fuel system clean it is so clogged you will have problems w your fuel pump. I was amazed! Never have I heard that going there or ever in my life. I said yes w no hesitation because I knew it did that he was right.

My dad is a.mechanic but now that hes older he just works and goes home so I have had to find other people to fix my car. I drive an hour to go see my mechanic but quick oil will always be my matience place and i know their honest because my dad would tell me I was ripped and never once did of all the times i have gone here. Normally my car is good to go and I just do the oil change. Last time he did say I needed a back wiper though and was in a rush so didnt.two weeks later the wiper rubber was hanging and I wished I listened and did it.

Everyone I've had touch my car there is great but the boss is beyond amazing. He goes above and beyond. He even offered to help me w my baby and put my stroller in the trunk.

I cant wait to my next visit to see your scentsy warmer and smell the great scents lol! U will thank me then and tell me all about throwing the defuser in the garbage lol.

Ps. I use the groupon and never once had a problem. My boyfriend bought one three years ago and me this year so all these complaints complaining about the groupon need to read the fine print and if your not happy cause u need different oil that will cost more then return the groupon- ur own stupidity for not reading the fine print.

Went there to change oil using Groupon coupon, they advertised it's 29$ then I ended up paying extra 30$ since the car is Audi Q5.
Then they asked me to change the steering liquid for 90$. I ended up paying 200$, they charged me for broken screws (as they said, don't know if they broke it). Another three or four charges that they never asked me before doing it.
I will never go back there, not recommended!

As a young female I do get concerned of being taken advantage of by auto shops, however this was not my experience with Quik Oil in Oakville.
I dealt with Peter, who was nothing but friendly, informative and helpful. He's actually pretty funny, if you take the time to talk to him. I was told that things in my car look good and did not feel pressured to get other services that my car didnt need.
For me the groupon was well worth it and I will be returning.

Took my grandfathers car in for a recent oil change. What really upset me is that they charged money to replace something in the car and I trusted them to do a good job. Noticed there was a problem and went back a second time. Was told they would fix the issue this time. I left and thought the problem was fixed. Shortly after noticed same problem was not fixed. Now I have paid twice for someone else to do the job the right way. Peter is not running this place the way it should be run. It's time to move on to another place. We were hoping to remain life long customers.

A very POOR service and DISHONEST people! I had a HORRIBLE experience at this place. I got an Oil Change Group ON coupon for $17.
They did the oil change very fast that made me to be suspicious. I asked the owner how many liters does it need? He said 4 liters. I checked the manual when I got home and realized the capacity is 4.7 liters.
While I was there the owner mentioned I need to do transmission oil change immediately and also flush out radiator system. I was just listening as that was not my plan and my own mechanic just flush out the radiator system recently. So I got more suspicious of their dishonesty.

The worst part happened when I showed my coupon to pay. I noticed two of the staffs are working on my car and telling me "The car doesn't get started. You need a new battery and alternator". I told them I just recently replaced the battery. They said it's because today is cold. I said I had the car parked on Go station for 10h and no problem coming to your shop! The owner said, it happens and we are closing in 15 minutes you better call CAA or replace the battery for $300. I asked what is your return policy and he mentioned there is no return.

I asked if you can help to boost my car that I get home, they said "we don't a booster cable".

Long story short I reached one of his staff and asked if you don't get to trouble or fired please help me to start my car and he did it and he quietly said your car is fine.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE never go to Quick Oil in Oakville even if he pays you!

The technician was so professional in the ways and manner of their services. I like their recommendations for my car.telling me the things of importance that I needed to do in car to give me a greater performance.

Very bad experience. Do not recommend. Even with a groupon they are still making money so why do you deny someone that has more then one and then demand your overpriced $50 from them. The worst Groupon experience!

I've been to this location several times in the past, never had an issue until this time. I was using a Groupon, which they refused to accept. They tried to upsell me on other repairs, advising me that my engine would seize and my Jeep would break down if I didn't fix them Immediately. My rear signal light had gone out and when I went to change it, the connector was jammed, so I kindly asked me if they wouldn't mind doing it for me I had the light bulbs, the owner told me it would cost at least $10, probably even more. Seriously? What ever happened to customer service? I will definitely not be going back to this location.

Highly recommend this place! Peter the owner and all the staff were so nice. I will be bringing my car here from now on for all my oil changes.

Hands down this is the best place ever to get maintenance completed on your vehicle. I always take my vehicle to these guys on my lunch hour and they always take care of me! Plus they have an amazing points system which gets you free oil changes! What could be better than that! One time one of the Guys installed my new wipers for me! Best place ever! Thx guys!

Warning on groupon usage - they will decline to honor groupon if you have serviced oil change using a groupon thrice in the past. They said thats a lifetime limit per car license plate for groupon usage on oil change. If thats the case, I am totally ok as far as they better have added this clause on groupon purchase so we can avoid. Sadly ended up paying around $100 for syn oil change with $19 groupon sitting unused. Also guess they have invested in cabin/engine filters and trans fluid flush injectors. So you will see a sell on all these items and service on every visit. Failure to do might leave your car engine break anytime soon, the scary part of every sell.

No overpriced services, very affordable price, my favorite garage from now on
