Quiznos

I have a fondness in my heart for Quiznos. It's a shame they are so rare now.

Toasted really does taste better and comes at a small price premium.

This location can be hit or miss for speed but always delivers a great tasting meal.

Really good food and staff is very friendly. Definite recommend for when you’re in the mood for a sandwich.

Quiznos is an amazing enterprise with excellent customer service. Its food is fantastic, and I eagerly anticipate every visit to this fast-food restaurant. The bread is always toasted to perfection, and I never have to wait an extended amount of time to receive my order. The workers are always happy to be working, adding an extra dimension to the love they put into their subs.

The staff is nice enough, the restaurant is clean and comfortable for a sandwich shop, but the food is awful. Cold and dry bread, soaked and sweaty even though it was toasted. The meat isn’t very good, the sauces are pretty flavourless and the bread makes the sandwich worse. Quiznos used to be my favourite sandwich place, but nowadays subway and firehouse make me question how Quiznos even still exists. They no longer even give the free peppers with every order, so my assumption is that their cost cutting measures killed their quality. Don’t bother here, farmboy makes better food, firehouse is across the street and there’s a subway a few mins down greenbank.

Didn’t bother to ask me what other vegetables I wanted. Just said “tomato, lettuce, onion? ” At the beginning of the order and didn’t bother to ask what else, later down the line. Was odd. Felt like they were doing that to save a buck.

Edit: My wife’s sub wasn’t right (and was gross). Went in to get it made again. After it was made, I was told I would have to pay for the sub? ! Why wouldn’t you tell someone that before making the replacement sub? ! Ended up just leaving. I don’t typically leave reviews, but this deserves one. Avoid this place

Edit #2: What a weak response: “We vow to do better and hope to see you again for a better experience. ” yeah just like you told the other reviews word for word. Human beings (the ones you serve) like to hear specifically how you’ll make their experience better (and follow through with it).

A great way to annoy people, is to treat them like they don’t have a brain. That’s exactly how your responses make people feel.

Grossest sub I have ever had. Not a single one of the meats on the Italian sub resembles the actual meat it is supposed to be. Tastes like cheap bologna. Go to any other sub shop in Ottawa besides Quiznos.

Disappointed in the subs loved them years ago not sure if quality has went down or just thos location

I would honestly rather eat a bowl of s*** than take another bite of your absolutely disgusting Turkey sub. I had to dip the sandwich in ketchup with each bite to make it bearable to eat. Legit tastes like poison.

It has been over 10 years since I've had Quiznos, honestly I didn't even think they existed anymore.and it just wasn't what I remembered. Staff was great, restaurant was clean but the sub was burnt/overcooked sauces were bland and "toppings" were scarce.

Like others have already mentioned in reviews, they skip the sauce in subs at this location. I experienced with a takeout sub I ordered today.

We ordered 5 subs last Saturday and my sub was the honey bacon club, well I'm telling you, I was so disappointed it had half a slice of ham, half a slice of turkey, one thing slice of tomato and I little piece of lettuce. We use to order from them but now, Never again will I go back to Quiznos.

I ordered the club sub on Uber eats, there was no bacon or chicken only a couple very thin slices of ham. Barely any lettuce either and basically came floating in mayonnaise.

This was my first time trying this location. I asked five times that I'd like extra carbonara sauce because the person behind the counter wasn't instilling confidence, and somehow they didn't put any cheese and only two drops of carbonara sauce. I mean even a normal amount of carbonara sauce would have been better than this. We were the only people in the store so there's no reason for this person to have been distracted or to have gotten this wrong. This was the worst and most tasteless chicken carbonara sandwich I've ever had from any Quiznos location in Canada or the United States. Super disappointed. Unfortunately I only discovered it when I got home 20 minutes away from this location. I'm super disappointed to see how bad Quiznos has gotten since they used to be a great company with great sandwiches. I would not recommend this location.
