Price wise, no complaints. The hotel is well maintained, but is in need of upgrades which explains the low rates for stats. Definitely had a weird smell, which I guess is carpets or the room infrastructure itself.

Staff was amazing, and the breakfast buffet was included in the price. The breakfast was pretty reasonable.

Location wise, the hotel is right close to downtown which comes with drug related issues. Definitely saw a ton of what appeared to be crackheads walk right through the parking lot. Although the parking is fenced, can’t help but worry about the vehicles parked there.

So I was gonna talk 'ish' about this hotel when I noticed it was a 3 star hotel. And ya know what? That's fair. It is a three star hotel by all rights. So first thing, I get in the room, go into the bathroom to use the facilities, and the toilet handle is loose, the plastic nut that should hold it in place has fallen off. Now I'm a plumber, easy enough fix. Then I turn the shower on, pressure is but unfortunately the tub starts to fill with water cuz its not draining properly, now there is like 3" of water in the tub when your tryna shower, eww. So I unscrew the pop top stopper, allowing the water to drain faster, it comes out with like a foot of human hair, again, eww. But again I'm a plumber so I dispose of the hair in the toilet and take my shower, now the shower curtain is doing that thing where it like blows back against your body, 3rd eww. I take a moderately warm shower, not a fan of hot showers myself, but there is no ventilation in the bathroom whatsoever. Okay so again, let's go back to the 3 Star rating. The room was adequate, plug on the night stand was loose and my charger fell out a few times but oh well. Morning comes and now I head for my complimentary breaky in the hotels restaurant. This is where I'm disappointed. Food is disappointing, eggs and sausage are both cold, home fries were okay, but when I commented on the cold food the server goes to tell the 'chef' and he walks out, pops a sausage in his mouth, says 'it's fine' and disappears in the back. And ya know what? He's right, it was fine, wasn't anywhere near good, but it was fine. Lol. 10 outta 10, would not stay here again eh.

If you believe that receiving an apology for Radisson's mishandling of your payment issue, which resulted in charging your personal credit card for a booking that was already covered by your company, is warranted, you'll be disappointed. At Radisson, the experience includes being confronted by their general manager in a raised voice for inquiring about the matter regularly.

In this instance, they misplaced the payment information from the booking agency, leading to charges on both mine and my colleague's personal credit cards. We only realized this several days into our stay. Upon addressing the matter with the manager, we were assured that it would be resolved and that they would update us the following day. Regrettably, no one contacted us, and this pattern repeated itself. And again. And again.

As our credit cards neared their limits, I spoke with the manager again, but he was dismissive. If you anticipate receiving an apology for their error or even a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill once the situation is rectified, you're mistaken once more. Rather than addressing your concerns, they treat you as an annoyance to be brushed aside. I certainly won't be choosing to stay there again

The front desk guy was very in accommodating and i clearly asked for room on as upper level as possible but he gave me room in the basement? Really? And that gave us keys to another room which was already checked in by someone else. Now realized that the bath tub is not draining. Terrible. Even after paying to stay in a hotel as expensive, we are made to feel that we are in a cheap motel…

Let me begin by saying I don't blame the staff at all. In my interactions with them they were helpful and friendly. But I think management understaffed the hotel over the August holiday weekend and this caused a lot of problems.

The hotel itself is old and probably due for refurbishment. But our beds were still firm and everything in the rooms worked well and the wear-and-tear wasn't too bad so I give the room quality 3 stars.

The location is really unfortunate. The hotel is attached to a mall that-like many malls across North America-has a high vacancy rate and is pretty sad. The neighbourhood seems to be a high crime area and there are security guards around all the businesses. I would not feel safe walking alone at night, and in fact I could not recommend that anyone walk around alone at any time of day.

The breakfast was a major disappointment. The restaurant capacity was insufficient for the number of guests. The coffee and juices were watery. The selection was poor, with only scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausages available. No bacon, no pastries or muffins, no vegetarian options. I would not recommend anyone pay extra for the "complementary breakfast". You're better off going to the Tim Horton's around the corner.

The one highlight of the hotel is the pool, which is surprisingly large for a hotel pool. It must be 20m long and it reaches a depth of 8ft. It was also clean and the lining was in good shape. Unfortunately a hot tub is present but it seems like they've given up on trying to keep it maintained because it's covered by plywood with potted plants on top. Sadly, I do not have the same level of praise for the fitness centre. A recumbent bike, an elliptical trainer, some kettle bells and some dumbbells. Not even a flat bench!

Let's talk about housekeeping. I'll reiterate that I think the hotel was just terribly understaffed for the number of guests over the holiday weekend. We visited the pool on Friday afternoon and the laundry bin was full and there were perhaps 8-10 fresh towels remaining. Surprisingly, the bin was still full Saturday mid-morning and there were no fresh towels available. I informed the front desk and she said she would tell housekeeping. To their credit, a guy did come down with four (!) towels but did not collect the dirty towels. We visited the pool one more time on Sunday morning and the dirty towels had been collected but there were only 6 fresh towels available. I don't know how they thought this was sufficient when the hotel was almost full.

We were away from the hotel all day Saturday until late in the evening and we were surprised to come back and discover that housekeeping had not even visited our rooms. We did not leave "do not disturb" signs on our doors, so I think the housekeeping staff were simply overworked and were unable to get to our rooms before their shift ended.

In summary, management should know better and should staff up for holiday weekends when they know the hotel is busy. This sort of corner-cutting is just going to destroy them over time because nobody will want to go back after a bad experience.

Having said that, I think outside of busy times the hotel is probably fine. Enjoy the pool (maybe bring your own towels), skip the hotel breakfast and grab it elsewhere, be careful when wandering outside, don't set a high expectation for the freshness of the hotel, and I think the price is a reasonable value.

This place is seriously filthy. There are holes in the sheets, the mattresses, the carpet, the drapes, and even in the wallpaper. There is hair, dust, and dirt in every corner. The hallways smell like weed and/or cigarette smoke.

Parking is a nightmare and not safe. We saw someone trying to break into a car nearby and when we told the security guard we were told not to worry about it.

I have a pretty high tolerance for less than luxury when it comes to hotels but this is the first time I’ve been worried about things like bedbugs. If it wasn’t 10pm when I arrived, I would have found somewhere else to stay.

I went with 6 families for 3days. Unfortunately hotel service, staff didn’t made me happy at all.
1st day: we found some trainees dealing with us who doesn’t know what to do. The room key wasn’t working properly. We got to do back and forth to the reception to activate the card
2nd day: I requested for room service but left over some towels else nothing
3rd day: In the restaurant for breakfast area, again staff is not proper trained to dealing with customer. Finally, after the room service done they left the door unlocked/open whole day with our all valuable stuff while we outside. And when I complains to the reception, they keep a note, that’s it!

So, there are lots of opportunities to do things better, it’s a nice building, middle of downtown.
Thank you,

This place was disgusting they literally flipped another guests sheets inside out and put them back on the bed for us to come stay in the room without even washing them? ! What kind of hotel service is this. There was partying and dogs and smoking in this hotel. Every time I walked by the front desk I heard customers getting upset and complaining the breakfast is disgusting the only good thing about the hotel is the man that maintains the pool he was amazing and got us some towels because the front desk and house keeping both said we weren’t entitled to any towels and that we were supposed to bring our own… I mean I have never stayed somewhere like this before not a hotel quality service

Rooms are dated.old carpet on the floors. Super high beds are a challenge for children, short people, disabled and the elderly. Our requests to move to an accessible room were not fulfilled due to lack of availability. A huge hotel like that only has 2 accessible rooms! In all fairness I will say that they had a nice TV that works well.

As for service, the front desk clerk seemed kind of clueless. He didn't even know where parking was located. He failed to offer a breakfast voucher and he needed to be reminded to follow up on the request for a room change.

Location is in an old, seedy decaying part of the city inhabited by drug users, homeless people and panhandlers. The adjoining mal has seen its best days come and go many years ago. Lots of empty retail space and stores close early. There does not seem to be much political will to address the homeless problem in the area.

Conclusion. Not recommended for people with accessibility issues, or people with children. There are plenty of other hotels in Sudbury. Stay at one of them. Hope this helps someone avoid a disappointing experience.

The entrance for is on a back street without much room for a couple vehicles, the parking is horrendously inconvenient, and you can't get a room with a walk out or balcony unless you pay extra. They have a bar/restaurant, no beer tap, and a bottle of beer is almost 10 dollars.

One cool thing is there's a small pool with a hot tub as well, I left too soon to check it out though.

All and all, I won't be returning.

I booked 6 weeks ago with a clear note to not have any feathers in my room due to allergies.

My first attempt was met with two rooms keys which did not work, requiring me head back to the hotel lobby. The first room I was given was actually not clean, with the beds unmade from the previous guest.

I went back to the front desk to inform them of this and they quickly allocated me another room. I moved my luggage between rooms and looked forward to settling in. Within a few minutes my allergies started acting up, at which time I found that all the pillows were down filled.

I went back to the front desk at which time it seems they didn’t know if they had any room at all without feathers. 90 minutes later I still didn’t have a room because they didn’t have any cleaning staff on site. I moved my luggage into a friends room and went out for dinner.

Eventually I got a room after 9pm.

After all that…the comforter was down filled as well.

Not impressed at all.

Area around the hotel seems post apocalyptic. Rooms were dated with wallpaper peeling off. Bed was comfy and shower pressure was excellent. Room seemed to be clean but I didn’t look too closely for fear of what I might find.

The room was dated but clean. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. The parking sucks, by 6pm all the spots are taken. They may have a backup parking lot somewhere but in this area I wouldn't want to park there. The mall it's connected to is almost empty. But as a hotel, it's acceptable. Has a pool and a restaurant attached

Below expectation. The hallway was stinking. The bathtub was clogged. The beds were creaking badly, a turnover while sleeping meant waking up everyone sleeping, there no extra soaps or shampoos. There was no kettle for tea people. The women's washroom by the pool was a scene from a horror movie, dark and dingy no lights at all. The staff was courteous, I won't lie.
