The Best jewellery place to buy and get things repaired. They are real nice to deal with. Would not go anywhere else. I would give them a 12 star if I could.

Raphael Jeweller is a great place to go. I take alot of repairs there. It is very speedy and repairs are excellent! Raphael is a real gentleman and friendly and professional. He has a lot of knowledge with jewelry. He doesn’t try to push things on you either, being thrifty to him is important.

My dad passed away last month and I brought in 2 rings of his- one to be fixed and re-sized and 1 to be cleaned. Rafael not only did an amazing job, but when we told him we wanted to wear one of them to a family function this weekend, he was able to get both done for us, even a day earlier than he had originally thought. Very professional, very personable and very affordable. I was referred to him by a friend and I will certainly be referring him to others.

I got my wedding band resized. I have been deliberating on getting it done for a while cause I wasn’t sure how much it would cost for resizing. I walked into Rafael Jewellery. The owner himself assisted me and measured my ring finger. He was very helpful and kind. He made sure I had the right size. Was told it would take 10 days. He got it done in less than a week! I was amazed with the service and fee for my ring! Highly recommend them!

This review is long overdue but Rafael has been my jeweller since I moved to Ajax in 2020. He designed and crafted an engagement ring for my fiancé which she absolutely loved. He’s also Fixed and altered my gold chain to shorter length and made a bracelet with the excess. When I fist started visiting Rafael Jewelery I was very happy with the service I received there. Bought a few really nice pieces from there. I had a ring resized and a diamond replaced. 2 days later the diamond was missing. I returned to Rafael and told them the diamond had come out. He said to me it's not the same diamond. I said I only wear this ring one way and I know which diamond it was. He did repair the ring with a new diamond. I was leaving the store, and right in front of another customer, he yells, if it comes out again it's a 100.00. That is not vety good customer service as far as I'm concerned. Wouldn't you know it a few days later the diamond had gone missing again. I called the owner and he said it's not the same diamond. Like I told you before, I know my ring. It is the same diamond. I will never shop in this store again. Very disappointed in the service I received from the owner.

Initially I was told the turnaround would be 3 days but I was called back a few hours later and was able to pick up my ring the same day I dropped it off. I reccently just had my wedding band and engagement ring resized at Rafael's, and we had a great experience. He was kind, friendly and made me feel confident he could resize my rings without any damage. He was finished both rings the same day we brought them in, and did such a wonderful seamless job. He cleaned them, tightened them and also replaced a missing diamond in one of them that I didn't even notice was missing! I highly recommend Rafael Jewellery, and will definitely go back in the future.

I was looking for a pendant and heard this place was really good. I made a 45 minute drive to this jewelry store and found a pendant but it wasn’t the type of metal, however he said he could dip it. I decided not to buy it at the time and a couple days later I called instead of making the drive to ensure the gift was exactly what I was looking for. I asked if they could send a picture (my sister used to be in the jewelry business and said they send pictures all the time for customer service, continuing clientele, and the sale). He told me he was too busy which I respected so I asked if I could call back at a later time and he said no, he didn’t want to send a picture. He didn’t give me any rationale and quite frankly rushed me off the phone as if this sale didnt mean much. Very frustrating and upsetting. I won’t be going there for anything in the future and will not recommend.

I brought my platinum engagement ring in to be resized, and I could not have asked for a better experience! While I was told from another jeweller the resizing would take up to three weeks because the materials were complicated to work with, Rafael Jewellery was able to get the job done within two days. They did incredible work at an affordable price, and were friendly and responsive. 10/10 would recommend. I cannot say enough positive things about Rafael Jewellery.

We went in and immediately he used his professional judgement to help us pick out the perfect rings. Rafael turned my Mum's wedding ring into a beautiful lily pendant. He listened to my ideas and help me make it special. Her name was Lily, her birth flower was a lily and we added her birth stone. We went to multiple jewellery stores looking for wedding bands to match my engagement ring, but nothing quite fit due to the unique shape of the ring. I have to say I am quite disappointed! I have gone into this establishment many times and was always pleased. That is not how I felt today. I came in to check how much it would cost to size a ring. In less than a minute he asked what finger and gave me an outrageous price. He didn't check my ring size or offer any recommendations like others have. Very dismissive! Again very dissatisfied!

I went to Rafael Jewellery with a ring that meant the world to me because it was a gift from my family. The ring had been purchased elsewhere and after only 2 short years had lost a diamond because of poor workmanship. Rafael Jewellery replaced the diamond and laser soldered all the other claws to prevent the loss of any others. Despite the new diamond having to be set differently, the diamond and setting look identical to all the other diamonds. The staff were incredibly friendly and caring. I took my engagement ring in to be fixed after I broke the band and it was a great experience and very fast too! I am now a customer for life and will be recommending to all my friends and family!

I had the worst time ever dealing with peoples jewelers with my engagement ring, I'm talking like 2 months to finally get my ring back and lo and behold, it was still too big.so I decided to go somewhere else to get my ring sized, when I came across Rafael Jewellery. He has in house sizing, so no weeks of waiting! I went in and he was very welcoming and even came up with an alternative to sizing for my ring as it was only a 1/4 size too big. He didn't want to ruin the integrity of my ring so he soldered a piece of gold to the inside of my ring and now it fits perfectly! He even asked me to come in while he was still working on it to make sure it fit before finishing it so that we didn't have to go back and forth if it still didn't fit properly. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely go back to him.

I researched and spoke to several jewelers and wished I had called Raphael right away. Although the locket was customized most jewelers that I spoke to didn't even try to attempt to to make it I went to Rafael and I was blown away at how he almost felt like it was his obligation to make sure I got the best looking locket for my wife as he understood the importance of it and he almost made it personal for him.
Throughout the process he kept in constant communication, was a straight shooter and a gentleman and I couldn't be happier. I will never go anywhere else but Raphael for any jewelry.

And in the end he made the perfect locket that I couldn't be happier with AND at a very good price!

Last year i took my wedding ring to Rafael for him to duplicate and restore it as it was, and he did an amazing job restoring it to exactly how it used to look before it worn out and even better quality wise. This month i wanted to make 4 name necklaces to my daughters and one of them to be made in Hebrew. Sure enough Rafael assured me not to worry and trust him. After all my wedding band was the real challenge for him and yet he delivered beyond expectations! I was restless and was looking forward to see the final result, and no one could have done it better! He is good in what he does and make sure you know that. When he tells me " trust me Victor", know that Rafael know his job and just let him do it with your eyes closed. First I would like to say, I have worked in customer service since I was 13 years old. I've experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly. I am now fortunate enough to have my own business (in the food space) where I always treat customers with respect.

I want to lay the groundwork for my review with this business. I ALWAYS give business owners the benefit of the doubt (as you will see from my review history), and overall I am a very calm and collected person. Until I met this man at Rafael Jewelry.

Because this is a jewelry store and people will come here to spend a lot of their hard earned money, in some cases for life events such as weddings, I will leave a DETAILED review so you can decide whether you will do hand over money to this man.

My wife was in search of a gold chain for my birthday. She came to this business and was greeted by a middle aged man who i believe is Rafael, but I am not sure. She was looking around, not 100% clear on what to get me. This man approached to help and as per her story to me he was extremely impatient and as soon as he seen a whiff of the fact she may not be buying on that day (since i wasn't there), he completely ignored her. When she told me this I gave HIM the benefit of the doubt because I would assume he was busy with other customers.

So I went to visit this store again with my wife although she insisted she did not want to. But because it was close to our home I decided why not?

I entered, and the same person according to her greeted us and asked how was her day. There were no customers in the store so I thought he would not be impatient and since there was still 45 minutes left till closing we would be good.

As he helped us try on some chains I saw his impatience. He wouldn't let me finish speaking and in some cases outright would say NO when I asked him to try on a particular chain. Although this gave me red flags I liked one of the chains. In addition, with my experience with jewellers, I ALWAYS get certification that the jewelry I am purchasing is authentic. So when I asked him he abruptly and rudely stated no it does not come with certification and that it will be written it is 10 ct on the receipt and thats good enough (thats bs by the way), and if i wanted a certificate I would have to lay extra.wow.i have never had a jeweler say that before so another red flag.

So we asked him how much and he kept saying he would tell us at the end. The end came, and the sticker price saif $1,400. He said he would take off $300. And as I do with every semi large purchase I asked him if he could do $1000 even, and all of a sudden he cut me off and said 'NO AFTER I SAY THE PRICE YOU DONT GET TO TALK AND TELL ME YOUR PRICE'.

UM.wth? The way he talked to me was as if I was a child.the arrogance, bigotry, and sheer lack of respect really angered me. I told him to forget about it and walked out of the building right away!

It was the WORST customer experience I have ever had. If he didn't want to bargain any further he could have simply said that instead of the way he said it. I was in shock that this man is still in business. He sounded like a thug and a bully.

And looking at many of these positive reviews got me thinking HOW can he be the reason behind such great reviews? I realixed a LOT of his reviewers have only a single review and have no other history. Sounds really shady to me.

All in all.he disrespected me in front of my wife for no reason which is absolutely unacceptable. I found that same chain with a sticker price of $1,100 I realize he was playing games with us and trying to get aggressive so we would buy from him out of fear.

I will encourage all of my friends and family never to go to this business ever. And if you're going here to purchase an expensive item, I would never recommend such a shady person. He is not a good person, and an unbelievably bad business man.
