Rainbowy Nails

I have had my nails done for years, biogel, but never have I been more satisfied with my nails than with the excellent job done by Paula at Rainbowy Nails on Hespeller Road in Cambridge. She did exactly what I showed her but more importantly Paula is meticulous with her craft. I LOVE LOVE my nails and I am incredibly picky! Great job Paula!

Peter did my nails and I have never been this happy with the shape and the overall experience with any other salon or technician. He was so delicate and patient and also focused a lot on my cuticles. In total I cannot stop looking at my nails.

My nails are pretty short which made it challenging. Peter did a wonder job on my nails. The shellac looks clean and beautiful

Normally I have a good experience here. Always friendly.
My only concern was the fact I had told my nail tech that I had an issue with two of my nails that were crooked and she told me it was fine.she went on to shaping them I had noticed that one on each hand were shorter than the rest and again she checked nope same length.

If you ever have an issue, polity ask for someone else.

Always makes sure I'm comfortable in the process and that I like the colours being put on. Meticulous when it comes to bringing a picture in and getting it done the same. I've had Jasmine and Hailey and they are great

I’ve been coming to Rainbowy nails for a couple of years now. I’ve always had a good experience. My nail girl is Tammy and she has never disappointed me- she is gentle, soft and pays extreme attention to detail. I’ve never felt her rush once. She is also very kind and personable. Always has a conversation with me. I would highly recommend her!

Kim did an amazing job with my manicure pedicure! I recommend booking appointment ahead of time as they seem very busy. Understandable as reasonably priced and great service!

I came to the place with the intention if getting bio gel nails. I was clear to the workers that it was my first time getting gel nails. I did research and a family friend of mine is educated in aesthetics and nails and gave me lots of information on how to take care of them. When 3 weeks went by, it came to taking them off and I did everything I needed to take them off correctly and safely. Dont get me wrong, my nails were beautiful, but after a long time of trying to soak them and peel them off, my family friend made it aware to me that the worker did NOT use bio gel but ACRYLIC! This is why it was very hard for me to take them off, when they shouldnt be difficult! I had a great experience coming there and my nails turned out beautiful, but I feel you guys should be honest with what you are using on your clients nails! Especially since acrylic is a LOT harder to come off than gel. I could have seriously damaged my nails if I didnt know well enough. Who knows what damage someone could do to their nails trying to dig at the acrylic thinking its gel.

I had a wonderful pedicure today. It is always a pleasant way to spend an morning. Kim did an awesome job on my wonky toes.

I had a great experience here and would absolutely recommend. After having 2 nails break from a recent nail job elsewhere, I called for a same day appointment and was offered an appointment a few hours later. Ashley did a great job on my nails and took care in reshaping them and helping me pick from a variety of images what kind of nail design I wanted.
I'm very pleased and will certainly be returning!

My cousin and I love our nails! They did a wonderful job and they are spot on to the reference photos we showed them.

My nails turned out fine but the technician cut me multiple times and hurt my fingers to the point of them being sore when I left. I'm also not confident they clean their manicure supplies and I am now concerned about disease or infection since they cut me numerous times. I was also not offered a discount or anything for the cuts. Would not recommend. Sure the nails look okay but for the cost of rather pay $10 more and go to a salon that's not going to cut me and give me a relaxing time.

Although I'd love to give 5 stars for their design skills, I was unimpressed with their nail removal process. I went in over a month ago to have my nails removed and was expecting it to be done professionally like every other nail salon I've been to but instead the nail tech placed acrylics underneath my nails and pulled them off. It caused so much damage and pain to My nails. I unfortunately won't be returning to this location.

Very busy salon. Everyone is very friendly. They were able to fit my daughter and I in without an appointment but I recommend you book one if you can. We had acrylic nails and a manicure done. (Photo is of my natural nails I prefer short) Some of the girls were amazing at the art on the nails. I suggest you give it a try!

I told the technician what i wanted but she suggested something else.
Next time I will insist on what I came for.
My nails look ok - nothing to complain about (except it not being what I asked for) but also not good enough to rave about either.

It started off sitting at one chair then having to move. I don't know why. First time in a very long time I actually had a hand massage with my manicure. Again, no idea why I wasn't getting them the last number times in there.

I have pretty much tried every nail salon in Cambridge, rainbowy is by far the best salon I have been into. Everyone is very friendly, very talented make you feel welcomed.
Tammy does my nails and she kills it every single time in very particular with my nails and she gets it right on everytime. Will recommend to anyone.:)

I visited Rainbow nails since before Covid. I couldn’t believe how dirty the salon was. My pedicure was literally 13 minutes in length. When I sat to have my nails done, she took a used nail file out of her drawer and started to use it on my nails. I had to ask her to get a new one. They are obviously not following Covid procedures. Not impressed and would NEVER return

I came to this location this month for a Pedicure Shellac + Manicure Shellac for short nails & Shellac removal. They are super professional, punctual according to the time they mention on their website & booking online is made really easy!

My daughter and her friends went to get their nails done. My daughter was cut several times by the nail tech and there was no apology given. You can even see the blood build up under the one nail. Not impressed. Will definietley not be going back that's for sure.

Worst customer service! My nails look horrible! I wanted ombre but ended up with the worst looking french tips. I have to repay another place the very next day to take off and redo the whole set. Total waste of money. The salon is dirty and over packed. Girls check their phones while doing nails. They lie about what they can and cant do based on the time they have available. It's cheap but not at all worth it! Go elsewhere!

My mani (full set) and pedi come with great massage. It was awesome! I like how they do my nails very clean and meticulous. Plus, theres a slight superb massage after the mani-pedi. This is the one and only nail salon I go to. Have never had any issues or a bad experience. If you do not like what is done the owner will bend over backwards to fix it.

I came today here n had my reservation at 10: 30am. I shown up early n they took me in. It was my 1st time here n I definitely coming back.staffs here are very friendly, professional and nice

Unfortunately did not have the greatest experience today. This is my second visit to this salon & I came back because the first visit was great. However this time the technician who did my nails did almost nothing to shape my nails at all. I understood that my nails are very thin and so you can’t do as much with them but she could have even clipped the sides or done at least something to make them even and all uniform with each other. I also noticed after I left that my old red shellac was still on the side of my nail, and the polish looked messy. I honestly just felt like she didn’t care about what I asked for. This salon is great but if I come back I’ll be sure to book with someone specific instead of just taking whoever is there because the quality obviously varies from one nail tech to another.
