Raj Mahal Indian Cuisine

Raj Mahal is my go-to Indian restaurant, the butter chicken is delicious and creamy while the naan is always fresh and pillowy. When I went the owner was very friendly, they talked to customers with a smile and the last time I went they even gave me free rice and a drink. The service was very fast as well, my food came in under 10 minutes. 10/10 would recommend.

Love indian cuisine, and by far this one is one of the best! The service was superb! The dishes were absolutely delicious and fresh. The place is packed. Make sure you reserve in advance. This will be our new go-to place.

Visited the place for the first time based on reviews, and just like other restaurants, this one crumbled under crowd. I was told by an attendant that I'll be provided a table but after waiting we were refused as the ATTENDANT DIDNT LOOKED AT THE RESERVATION LIST PAGE. Time is valuable for everyone and kindly do your due diligence so this shouldn't repeat at least for others because I'm not coming back.

Good food and nice portions, went recently. Service was mostly good, but when you tip 18% and the girl drops the bill like you gave her $1, that turns you off a bit from the place. Everyone else was good, that was just weird.

The taste is really good. But they have different kind of biriyani style like North Indian. But starters are pretty good and fast service.

I found these restaurant a few months ago and I have had a few meals already. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty.
During the week, I try to take advantage of the lunch specials and on weekends, I dine in.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy that authentic Indian flavor.

One of the best places for Indian cuisine that I found overseas. From appetizers to snacks to main course, everything was at point.

The ambience is also nice.

Just one thing, they have raised their menu prices recently, still, it's a good option when one wants to have a good Indian flavor.

Had a wonderful lunch. Food was excellent and service was great. I wish I lived closer - i would be there every week!

Amazing food and great service. Best place to have indian food in Toronto. Must visit this place if you’re craving for indian food.

The place has a nice and traditional ambiance. Staff was responsible and doing their job properly. I tried allu paranthas with plain yogurt and raita today. Good quantity. Quality could have been better. The stuffing merely had salt and paprika. There could have been coriander powder, ajwain, green chilli, onions, red pepper etc to enhance the flavour. For me it was bland and fennel seeds were giving sweet flavour instead. For anyone who likes the pronthe salty with hint of sweet can enjoy this.

The plain rice and bread were good but that wasn't the most delicious meal to be honest. Some of the fried veggies were very rubbery. We couldn't even recognize what veggies they were. The food had almost no salt. The veggie balls with the chickpeas didn't taste like anything particular we could identify. Just bland. We threw out half of the food: (

The Lamb Rogan Josh was just WOOOW, I kept just saying wow! 10/10 is an insult. It was beyond the scale! I’m African so I have a great appreciation for flavors! Excellent flavors!

Have been to this place and the food is good. Try the non veg platter, it’s good. The chicken kulcha was thick but was tasty. Wished it was not that thick. Also, the mutton tikka is like chicken thick curry. It’s a good place to visit and have good Indian food

This place is actually really good compared to alot of Indian spots in the GTA. The closest to the type of Indian food you find in Montreal.the best! Highly recommend!

Best Indian food in Toronto! We had a fantastic meal here yesterday; the butter chicken and palak paneer were exceptional. Service was very friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and bustling. Highly recommended!

Such good flavourful food, really amazing quality and large portion sizes, a little expensive but very worth it for the money

Just grabbed takeout and my family and I all loved it. Got Chicken tikka masala, chicken Biryani and garlic naan. I asked for mild as my kids (6 & 4) were eating too and it was fantastic. Lots of chicken, giant serving of rice and naan was fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back

What a wonderful experience. A great atmosphere, friendly staff, absolutely phenomenal poppadoms with a nice Tamarind sauce, beautifully cooked beef Biryani with a nice subtle curry undertone, heavenly garlic naan, and wonderful Beef Rogan Josh. At an amazing price as well. And the tiny salt/pepper shakers are very cute. I'll be back A. S. A. P.

I love the food and ambience. The food is mild with the right amount of spices. I took my staff for a holiday dinner and they loved it. Certainly would recommend this place.

We ordered Kadhai paneer. The paneer was horrible and they agreed to it. But still no solution was given. They said a lot of customers complain about our paneer. They neither cancelled the order, nor tried to get us something else. There were just two women servers in the restaurant and not too many customers.they were not able to provide decent services.

This place is absolutely amazing, the decor is colourful without being overly so, the atmosphere is warm, the food is so tasty; everything in the right balance. I had the Pappadums and Tamarind sauce as a starter, the Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan and Gulab Jamun as dessert. The service is amazing, the wait staff were so warm (shoutout to Sujata, she went above and beyond) I definitely recommend!

Have taken chicken biriyani here many Times. Good qty and will serve for two. Taste was good.

Absolutely love it! This place became my best top one! They also gave us a free dessert on the house for my pregnant wife!

Ps. This place should be rated at least 4.7. Idk why it's 4.5 star
