Ralph Thornton Community Centre

I went to get my Income tax done I found friendly staff that was helpful with my mother and me and that not all the services they have library, computes child service etc. Check out for yourself

A community utilized by many.
However it has been closed.due to restrictions cause by covid.

Worked out of here many years ago. Did a survey of the area then as well as work with the Donmount housing project. Rewarding work.

Unique facility. Very accommodating and accessible. They have a great variety of programs and are always planning to do more. You can really see that they care about the community.

I enjoyed the 40th surprise birthday party for the library on Queen and saulter street yesterday dec 11 at 6pm until 9pm! I bought 10 50/50 tickets to support the library and won. $68

An excellent day for the Indigenous and Ingenious show.great customers and a great crew of vendors.

I love this community center. Lot of activities and well taken care of. It's hard to find parking in this area though. I always go by public transit (which is about 20 minutes from the downtown core of Yonge/Dundas intersection).

Beautiful building with character. It was nicer inside before they painted it though. The new colours aren't as "friendly. " No parking, which can be challenging in the winter or a busy evening in the neighbourhood in the summer.

He was there for us every step of the way to help set up our lecture in the hall upstairs. Great venue, great location.

A nice little community centre. Not the biggest but it's a good place to hold small events. Elevator is usually, but not always, working. The parking isn't great but there's streetcar access.

Beautiful old community centre with a rich set of community programs, a public library, and a great play centre for young children.

I only visited the library and the computer lab so far. The library was small but clean with ample computers to use. The computer lab on the third floor was bright and cheerful with lots more computers available for use. There is an elevator with a lobby, mezzanine as well as 1st and 2nd floors I have yet to visit.

I absolutely love this community center! It is a great location with all of the amenities that I need. I have been her on many occasions and have never been disappointed.

I highly recommend considering Ralph Thornton for your event. Especially if you live in the area.

The people who work here are wonderful to interact with, nd go above and beyond in what they do.

Always looking forward to the weekly dance and choir singing at RTCC. It is well managed and the washrooms are clean.
