Stayed here for my cousin's wedding (off site), my room was very clean. I did find some bagged frozen fish in the little freezer but I don't blame the hotel for that I blame stupid people! The front staff came and took it straight away and were very apologetic! All the staff I met were incredibly friendly! I had breakfast at the restaurant and while everything was great including the service from a very lovely young lady the home fries tasted like fish which was disappointing!
The room description said lake view. I had to turn my head 90° and look half way down the side of the hotel to see the lake. But when I did it was a beautiful sight! Overall I had a great stay and would 100% stay again and recommend to friends and family!

The hotel was extremely welcoming the moment we walked in with friendly staff. We also ate at their restaurant which serves delicious food - can't go wrong with whatever you order. We got the Chicken Marsala and Asian stir-fry and they were both to die for. We will definitely come back!

Great vacation with wonderful view and big room. Staffs are very nice and good service. We booked a boat for travelling around the lake, very very good view and saw a lot of birds on bird island.
12 June 2023 1:50
The location by the water was wonderful with a great view. The beach front access could be improved. The room was pitiful. THe door would not close properly unless you forced it. The night lock was broken. The bathroom was dirty in some areas. The light was glitchy until we moved the bed so that it would not touch the connection. It was not possible to get cold water out of the bathroom tap. The service was barely courteous.

We came up from Toronto for conference were pleasantly surprised with how modern the interiors were. Nicely renovated. The staff was welcoming and wanted us to have the best stay possible, they upgraded our room to lakefront.

Got married here on May 27th, 2023. Had a few small hiccups with planning and timelines prior to the wedding day but the staff addressed every issue and the day was a success.
From the ceremony to the last dance of the reception everything went great. View of Lake Simcoe is amazing, food was fantastic and every staff member went above and beyond to make sure everyone and everything was taken care of. Shout out to manager Asad and his front desk crew, reception staff Maria, Nancy and bartender extraordinaire Rebecca.
The on site chef is a magician and works wonders in the kitchen.
Thank you for making our day perfect.

Floors we looked like they haven’t been cleaned in over a week. Huge lint balls, salt stains and overall from. Charging $200 a night d for worse then mortal quality
03 February 2023 23:21
Stayed here for two nights this past weekend for a wedding. While the staff were very friendly and trying hard to make the stay ok, this place is a dump. The lobby and common areas looked nothing like the online photos and certainly did not show the leaking ceilings and damaged drywall all over the complex. Our room seemed to be leaking water up from the floor tiles when you walked over them and there was NO hot water if you you used the shower for more than 3 minutes. I thought it was weird that a huge chain would allow a property to get so run down and considering it was on such a great location (right on the lake side) this place really disappointed. Cannot see myself going back there ever.
01 February 2023 11:38
This place is great, we enjoyed a lot our Christmas dinner was amazing! We enjoyed the pool as well… decent stay! Their general manager Asad is very considerate, welcoming and polite!

Stayed at the Ramada Jackson Point twice so far and I love it. Its become my getaway spot and I will definitely keep coming back. Its close enough to the city that its convenient for me to get to but far enough away that I feel like Im getting away. Rooms are very nice and clean, hotel has a variety of ameneties, nice restaurant/bar on site, plus theres a variety of restaurant options in the area. There's a nice lakefront with a lighthouse view and a dock to swim off of. The water is clear, sandy bottomed and shallow for a ways out. The staff is nice and helpful. All in all great value.
17 January 2023 21:08
Had a wedding here christmas eve they were amazingly accomadative and helped make the day great however they can. Was a great stay
02 January 2023 11:20
Everything was perfect. From the people that answered my many phone calls, and inquiries before hand, to the GM, who was at the desk when I arrived, and was very personable and kind. I’m disabled, and I had many requirements for the room, and I was accommodated very easily, and everybody was very kind.

This property is full of lots of little surprises. It's old it's tired and it is premium real estate property. It's a shame that when properties get to the latter part of their life that people don't just cut the ties and bring it back to something of real value. Surprise was breakfast somehow we thought it was included only to find out that it wasn't and the Beautiful part everything on the menu was $15 bacon and eggs, cheese omelette, veggie omelette, and pancakes. Really didn't matter what you ate it was $15. So breakfast for two with beverages not included in the $15 would cost you $50 a wee bit of a surprise

If I could give this a 0 star I would. Mainly giving it a 1 star because Google forces me to, and because I did manage to get a refund. Please save your money, and do not stay here! Overpriced and I had a horrible experience.
1) A mouse in my room. Making it even better, a mouse trap/ or bait trap hidden behind the chair in the room. When I complained (at 12am) to the front desk, the lady did give me a full refund (I was almost in tears) but didn’t show much remorse. Proceeded to explain that they are a rural location etc etc.but regardless, people do not spend $240 to sleep with mice. Unacceptable.
2) The rooms aren’t clean. Dusty, cob webs, smelly you name it. Not pleasant to be in at all.
3) Leaky tub faucet (making it basically impossible to shower without filling the bathroom floor with water)
4) Holes in the walls under the bathroom sink, which I’m pretty that’s where the mouse was coming from.
There’s so much more I could say but PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Do not stay here.
I almost drove 2.5h home at 12: 30am because I was so disappointed with this hotel.
24 November 2022 19:32
Room was disgusting, stains on the sheets and the room stunk of smoke.

I will never go back here ever again. Not worth how expensive it was
25 October 2022 8:53
This hotel is pretty much outdated and lacks hygienic measures. The beds are super uncomfortable and the washrooms are the worst part, they had mold everywhere. The only good thing about this hotel is the lake view, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be coming back because the price is super high for what you are getting for.
08 October 2022 12:45
We had a great experience staying at Ramada Jacksons Point. We held our wedding by the dock and it was a memorable one. All our guest was amazed by the beauty of the place. Asad is also hospitable and approachable before, during and after the wedding. He made sure that everything will go smoothly. If you want to have a relaxing day away from the city, try Ramada Jacksons Point and you will not regret it. Oh! Forgot to say that the hotel is also a pwt friendly place.
03 March 2022 22:33
Front desk lady working on Jan 1st around 2-3am was an absolutely disgusting person. She just gave attitude and attitude and didn’t help us at all. It was our first time at this hotel and didn’t know the rooms were outside the main area. She gave us a hard time for not knowing trying to make us feel stupid, gave lots of attitude, and sounded angry even thought all we needed was directions. Rooms were not as expected or shown on pictures online. They give a cheap motel feel even though I paid over $300 for a night. Would give 0 stars if possible.
25 January 2022 9:47
Great location and great staff. Deborah at the front desk is very welcoming and professional. A breath of fresh air.
19 January 2022 19:31
Amazing getaway to stay especially since it is not far from DT Toronto. Would definitely recommend to check it out if you're looking for a unique experience.:)
17 January 2022 2:38
Don't ever celebrate your marriage here. It was a big disappointment for us being the most important and glorious day of our lives. The manager, co-ordinator and servers were all out of sync, food was late. The co-ordinator of Ramada Inn literally pushed us out by turning the lights out. I had such dirty glasses on my table. I wish for a refund.
14 January 2022 10:06
I recently attended a wedding at this hotel. I have never been so appalled by staff. The bride had ordered in specialty cupcakes, as she has severe gluten and dairy allergies. They were brought in from a third party, they were not part of the package included with the hotel. I watched as multiple staff members, the servers and bartender, ate the cupcakes in plain sight of all the guests. The bride had ordered exactly the amount of cupcakes for all her guests, many of whom never got to have one. We later found out that some were taken home by the staff.
03 January 2022 22:19
This place is so filthy dirty and gross. How can anyone possibly want to sleep in moldy rooms with dirty hallways. Was to have wedding there and they stole our deposit, they can’t honour our contract and I’m happy they can’t because after further investigating the place is so run down and gross. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE
31 December 2021 10:40
Unfortunately not the best experience. Drunk people in the restaurant harassing families having dinner. Totally unacceptable.
22 December 2021 23:59
Dated/tired exterior. Sloppy interior upgrades.

Although located on Lake Simcoe, the hotel itself lacks charm and is in need of an exterior overhaul. It appears the interior/rooms underwent a remodel; however, it looks like it was done quickly and on the cheap. This hotel does not warrant a $250+ per night rate.
25 November 2021 1:02
Was a stop on a bike trip. Great location and view, I had a lakeside view. Is dated a bit but rooms are clean. Property is large with units / rooms spread out, that being said had no idea where Ice machines were. Didn't have microwave in room and not like hotel where you can take elevator to lobby to use. I would definitely go back and ask more questions as they probably provide but I was there for only 1 night.
12 November 2021 19:56
I was so fortunate to win their Instagram contest where I won a night's stay at their hotel.

I decided to redeem the prize at the end of October as a birthday present to myself.

The ride to Sutton was beautiful! I had requested that the room be right by the water and it did not disappoint - we had an awesome view of their iconic lighthouse.

Joe at the front desk was super helpful and cheery. He even called us to see if we were doing ok. We had dinner reservations at the onsite restaurant and Kat (sp?) was so attentive. I definitely enjoyed my meal!

Mukul was my point of contact and was very pleasant through our email correspondence leading up to the day.

This little gem of a place is so welcoming and I can see why so many couples get married here.

Thanks for making my birthday so memorable, Ramada Jackson's Point!
07 November 2021 4:22
Didn't stay here but they are right on the beach. Next time we will plan this one on our adventure.
06 November 2021 15:23
I have traveled all over the world and this is the most mis-managed hotel I have ever stayed at.
1) Upon arriving, we were advised they have boat rentals on the property taken care of by a third pary. However, there was no one on site and the contact details provided by the front desk was not answered. Further, the front desk had no additional information so we were forced to go out of the area to rent a boat.
2) Per the website, there was a hot tub on site but when we went to use it, it was not in service.
3) Again, per the website, 2 breakfast vouchers were included but when we ask about, we needed to send them a copy of their own website before they would honor the request.
4) Finally, housekeeping services were to be provided during our stay but none was provided.

In closing, if it was possible to give zero review, I would have done it. Worst hotel experience I have ever had.
23 October 2021 12:18
The view was amazing and the food was great but those were the only things good about this hotel. The staff was strait up rude and the room was very old. When we arrived to our room we found the floor was very dirty. There were Bacon bits on the floor! It also smelt like mold so we looked up and found the ceiling was a bit yellow in places and had mold in them. The washroom looked disgusting. It was very dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned after the last person. At night we booked the pool and it was very small and shallow, the floors were gross and it looked nothing like the picture I saw online. I was surprised by all of this because other Ramada locations are much cleaner then this. I would not recommend this hotel.
21 October 2021 18:37
There are good things and bad this about this place.

Good: Dinner was great, alot of options. Staff was helpful. View is beautiful. Room where nice and spacious.

Bad: All the pictures are from a room inside of the hotel because we had the side house room and not as nice. The outside is ugly (bags outside one room, junk in the next. The photos is the Outside light of my room with is a paper plate tape to a plastic bowl)
Breakfast was horrible (coffee was nasty and too strong even for a avid coffee drinker)

We booked our wedding venue at the Ramada in Sutton with Swati a year ago. It felt like everything was going to be perfect. We were asked about a month before our wedding if we could change the ceremony time to a half hour earlier from 3 on to 2: 30pm, due to the fact that they wanted to accommodate another ceremony the same day. We agreed with one condition, that the 5 rooms we booked for our out of town guest be ready for 1pm. We were assured that they would be. They were not. I had multiple people in my room as I was trying to prepare myself for my wedding. It was close to 2 PM before they were ready. I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the hallways and stairwells. Let alone the rooms. The ceremony itself was beautiful as we did our own decorating for the arbour and it was on the dock by the water. From there it was pretty much a disaster. I kept being told not to worry. Not to worry. Everything was behind schedule. An hour late for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. We had a total of 26 guests. Four tables and a head table. Mealtime there was an even bigger disaster. We had name tags on tables we had the seating arrangements at the front door when you came in. The food was cold late and unfortunately the staff couldn’t figure out who got what at which table. On that note. My heart went out to the staff that was working there on August 21. I stayed the night before and I saw those same people working at weddings the previous nights until who knows what time in the morning and they were back in first thing the next morning cleaning rooms and stayed all evening to accommodate the weddings that were booked by management the same day as mine. I thought the staff did everything they could. I do not blame them. It is up to management to make sure that they have enough staff to accommodate what they are scheduling for hotel guests weddings birthdays anniversaries etc. There was a huge wedding the day before and another large wedding party the same day as mine. They seem to have no issues accommodating those large parties. I guess the fact that our wedding was a small party that we did not deserve the same attention. I can only assume. The lack of cleanliness organization and timing all has to do with the lack of staff. I know with the Covid many companies and industries have suffered but by overbooking and understaffing will not get you ahead. It will get you poor reviews. Your staff needs to be taken care of better if you were going to make them work those long hours. However I would suggest that you need to hire more people to accommodate what you book for. Debbie on the front desk was great and did the best she could. Along with the ladies that served our meals and cleaned our rooms. I really was hoping to be able to give a better review. No woman should cry on her wedding day out of frustration or embarrassment. We made the best of it because that is the type of people we are. My mother went by the next day to drop off a plate and fork that she took home with a piece of our wedding cake to return the plate and fork. She was told by the manager who was at the front desk to go put it in the room across the hall without even so much as a thank you. She does not work for you. You should have taken the plate and fork and thanked her kindly for even bringing them back. Please take this review as constructive criticism and consider your staffing situation. Perhaps then your reviews will be better.

I expected more from Ramada by Wyndham Jacksons Point. It’s a motel with updated furniture. The site, rooms and furniture need a deep clean. The staff are dismissive and rude. I was hung up on twice when I called the front desk. It was a disappointment all around, a needed rest that turned into an uncomfortable stay.
04 October 2021 0:40
This place falls far short of expectations. Classified as 3-1/2 star hotel online with a beach; in reality it’s a tired motel with two motel strips facing each other with a wedding tent on the thin strip of grass between the motel buildings. Plaster falling off the ceiling in room, weeds growing in the parking lot and garden, full garbage and dirty linens just stacked in the parking lot (in front of the rooms in full view). This is a 2 star motel not a 3-1/2 beach front resort; feel like I got conned in this one.
01 October 2021 22:17
Overpriced for what they offer. The location is amazing. The staff is very polite. Very outdated and very clean unfortunately
25 September 2021 12:56
Overall it was a decent stay. Arrival was a bit rocky as the room we originally got was not properly cleaned. This was quickly resolved by front desk.

Pros: beautiful view, pup friendly, great food for dinner at the restaurant on site, has jet skiing available and bonfire, calm, there’s a beach close by and Sibbald Point is also near by

Cons: birthday decorations were poorly done (would not recommend purchasing as it was literally 5 balloons on the bed and a dollar store happy birthday sign), breakfast at the restaurant was no bueno with very limited choices, have to bring own stuff to light bonfire (only wood is provided, and you light it yourself)

If I were to stay here again, I would not purchase the birthday decoration package or the romantic evening package. Instead I’d have dinner on site and go for breakfast elsewhere (especially if you do not eat pork or are a vegetarian).
19 September 2021 16:42
Terrible Experience

Key card for room 527 kept not working, had to walk to front office multiple times to have get new key cards, which also did not work. Had to ask cleaning people to open door and provide access to room multiple times. Ultimately, had to switch to room 516, which was not what we paid for, a lakeview room with a balcony. The booking stated that breakfast was included with the price, however, when we went to the inn's restaurant, we were told that breakfast was not included and that they are aware of the issue, their website needs to get updated to show that there is no "Free Breakfast1'. Front office attendant was rude, abrupt, unwelcoming and unaccommodating, whether it came to our inability to gain access to our room or the swimming pool.
17 September 2021 10:02
Currently staying at resort.room not as clean as it should be. Frayed towels and curtains, stains on EA alls. My timeshare at Carriage Hills was owned by Wyndham. This resort is not up to par. A work in progress?
Comfortable however but definitely not worth $239 a night! Lawn chairs BROKEN, GARBAGE on property not picked up. No maintenance staff?
I was Looking forward to dinner at Lakeview Restsurant and arrived at 7: 30pm and so hungry. I was told that the chef closed kitchen for the nite because of storm approaching and people had to drive? Tornado warning wasn't in this area. Went to room hungry
Does dining room close when there is a snow storm in winter?
16 September 2021 6:30
Debbie from the front desk, she is a very unpleasant person, doesn’t wear a mask or name tag, we called the number they have on their website prior to our reservation to make sure that the hot tub is working and they told us yes it is, when we checked in Debbie said no it isn’t working and probably who spoke to us was indian or Filipino person who doesn’t know any better, such a racist person. Then she handed us the keys for the worst room ever different from the room we had in our booking as it was for a king room lakeside and she said she can’t have a room for us because no availability. Worst customer service ever. If you are looking for a nice hotel and friendly staff, Don’t go there, they have no idea about hospitality. We travel to hotels like twice a month never seen as bad as this one. Debbie you would make a better fit in a non friendly career.
15 September 2021 18:51
Not happy with reservations.showed up was told had no room for me.was asked to let others check in first I agreed but the party being checking was for a wedding. Although was told no availability of a room my cars was going to be charged for not canceling with in 24 hr period. How that work when I made the reservation 4hrs earlier
12 September 2021 4:39
Nice grassy beach with clear water, clean rooms, restaurant serves good food. Asad the manager and his staff are doing a great job making sure guests are having a great time.
11 September 2021 12:50
Great Place! Friendly staff! Clean Water! Beautiful views! Spacious rooms!
We has a great weekend at Ramada Jacksons Point, We were looking to go to a cottage initially but we found this place to be much better than a cottage because it gave us feel of both, a cottage and a resort hotel! The management is very friendly and accommodating, the food was really good at the restaurant, I would go to this place again with friends and family!
10 September 2021 6:44
This hotel is definitely a work in progress. The staff were kind and friendly. The room was not the cleanest. The bathroom still had remnants of the previous occupants and the toilet was completely missed by the cleaning staff. The dock was great to sit on and enjoy a drink on. I don’t think that my family would return as it was very pricy for 2 nights and not as desirable as described on the website.
08 September 2021 9:34
Nice location. The view from the docks was beautiful. Loved walking out of my room to go to the docks. Though it is very close to neighbours. Cleanliness was not up to par. Phone had dust on it and sheets were dirty. A plastic bag was left outside of toiletries. The door had a sliver where you could see the outside. But the location is worth a trip.
03 September 2021 12:23
The best part of this motel is how close it is to the lake and the views. We stayed in a double queen bed room. The room had a pungent smell of moisture. The door was dented and weather stripping was missing and bug were coming in. I paid 270$ for a night and I would not say it was worth it at all. The salt water pool pictures on their site is not even close in person. At best this is a over rated motel. I have to admit the staff are friendly. But is is worth 270$ for a night, I didn't think so.
30 August 2021 4:11
Our stay over this past weekend at the Ramada Jackson’s Point was wonderful! The owners, GM and staff went above and beyond to make my family and friends feel welcome and well rested. The rooms are new and clean, the restaurant has an amazing chef, the activities are exactly what you’d look for during your cottage getaway and the sunsets are storybook perfect! It’s also a great solution for those of us who don’t have a week to book off for a cottage.
It’s a perfect weekend getaway only a hour away from the city! I recommend it a 100%!
28 August 2021 20:07
The location was amazing, the staff had great customer service and the overall experience was phenomenon. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a getaway near the beautiful lake simcoe!
18 August 2021 15:14
Just back from a birthday getaway hosted by a friend. We were blown away by the arrangements and attention to detail.
Beautiful location by the lakeside, delicious food, spacious, luxurious rooms and very helpful staff.
Highly recommended for events, celebrations, family getaways or individual holidays!
What a discovery, located so close to Mississauga! Looking forward to taking our kids there next.
10 August 2021 16:33
Amazing resort and so close to Toronto. We had a wonderful time at the breathtaking waterfront.
The resort management had setup a tent for our private celebrations, and had their trained and experienced staff attending to all of our needs.

PS: Did I mention - The food was amazing!
09 August 2021 10:56
Very nice place right beside the water. The rooms are spacious. The staff are very friendly. Loved the place and would like to go back again
06 August 2021 6:15
I had the best time at Ramada Jacksons point this weekend!
After not seeing my friends for over a year, we did a weekend getaway at the resort. It was a great time.

The resort is beautiful with a gorgeous dock overlooking Lake Simcoe and a picturesque lighthouse. They have a great restaurant called Lakeview with delicious food and fire pits for Bon Fires. The rooms are clean and spacious, we had amazing sleeps!
I was checked upon by the Owner, Swati Gupta; and she ensured our stay was a memorable and hospitable one.

Thank you soo much to the amazing team!
We will be back again!
