The room was clean and comfortable. I wish the pillows were bigger and less lumpy. Beautiful view off of our balcony. A little overpriced. Loud music was being played until after midnight.

I was at this hotel for a couple of weeks for work (ASP) with my dog and I really enjoy my time there. We had a nice room at the third floor, the room was sunny and the view was incredible.

Location is good and accessible. Its right on the highway and on the bank of a river. The river side is very scenic, makes for a great spot to hang out. Its a 15-minute drive from ottawa downtown. There are rental boats for reasonable prices. The rooms are decent and clean. However the property is old and needs to be renovated. The metal staircase leading to the upper-storey rooms feels flimsy. Complimentary breakfast is decent however the fruit juices offered on the menu tastes very diluted on weekdays. Juices offered on the special weekend breakfasts tastes fine. The swimming pool is well maintained. At night you can have a bonfire going by the river side. The regular rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, tv, iron, kettle, hair dryer. Stay was comfortable.

This place is very dirty. There were no clean surfaces, there were stained floors, sheets and walls. I had to repeatedly ask my daughter not to touch anything or lean against the wall. The gym equipment is very dirty and the hot tub room smells pretty bad, I think it needs to be revamped in there it just looks very unappealing. I really wanted to enjoy our stay, I was excited for our staycation but unfortunately was sorely disappointed. At the price point of $129, $150 and some night more you would expect so much better. The staff was very kind and pleasant at least. Note that the main road is a bit noisy at night (which is understandable) and that the restaurant is a different business but even they handed me the dirtiest, stickiest most stained menu to look over.

The facility was fine, nothing mind blowing but comfy. One star rating comes from them charging me for 2 nights even though I only stayed 1. The staff was misinformed about cancellation policy and told me I couldn't cancel, and then another staff told me I could have cancelled but it's too late now. They then tried to charge me extra for leaving after the first night on top of already charging for the second night.

Very nice setting. Staff very nice. Close to a lot of things. Housekeeping needs a lot of work. Towels not changed, beds not made. For a stay of 4 days these should have been done. Rooms fine but could use some updating.

Stayed here to help prepare for a wedding held here. The staff were extremely helpful and all were very friendly! The wedding venue is a gem in Ottawa with a beautiful hall, amazing food and the stunning river view outside that makes for great photos. The guest rooms were perfect for what we needed. Highly recommend for any event or stay!

I thought I had a review before that I hoped to update but I could not find it. My initial visit solo was not so good. The room was musty and not very clean. I was offered an opportunity to give them another chance which I did - bringing my family this time. It was a much better stay this time. Room was spacious and comfortable and MUCH better condition than my initial visit. I'm not sure it would be worth 200$ a night especially given how far outside of downtown Ottawa it is but it is a convenient location for my needs so if it is on special I'd stay again.

Not far from Ottawa International Airport, but we were not bothered by noise. Ottawa roads are well-designed and maintained making trips from the hotel to downtown etc.a treat compared to larger Canadian monstrosities. Room facilities adequate, but tight squeeze in the 1960s-design bathroom. Backs onto the Rideau River. Did not have chance to use exercise areas, but they looked enticing. Adequate parking outside your room.

I stayed there for 2 weeks for work. My gold amethyst ring went missing and so did my sons passport nothing was done or said when I complained. The rest of the time I was there when I left for work I would put the don't disturb sign on and the cleaning lady still went into my room. I travel for work all the time and I've NEVER experienced this I am extremely upset that someone is going to use my sons passport for fraudulent reasons. I will never stay there again.

Room overlooking Rideau river though blocked partially by the trees. Comfortable but could hear foot steps from neighboring units as this place seems to be partitioned with wood.

No glasses though enough paper cups were provided.

It rained quite heavily yesterday and due to the undulation where the inn is located on, little streams started to form in the carpark making it difficult not to wet your shoes unless you walk around the carpark perimeter.

Free breakfast and we had the same menu for the four days we spent there.

The Roku smart TV was impossible to operate so had to switch input to aerial where reception is poor.

Friendly staff and Rachel whose parents migrated from Singapore was pleasant and helpful in meeting our many trivial requests.

If you are driving, you may need to circle back from neighboring Starbucks as there is no broken line on the road for you to legally turn into Ramada.

Spent 6 nights. Location is great! Fitted sheets in the bed need to be replaced as ours was full of fuzz balls. Second day our room was not made up more were towels replaced. Third day had to ask for towels at 9: 30 pm. Breakfast was the exact same for our entire stay. Would have been nice to have a change after so many days. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bathroom is very tiny. Not very much room to turn around let alone get dressed after having a shower. Would stay again just for the location.

A little dated but good value. Not central but close enough to amenities if driving. Back onto the river so you can rent a paddle boat or canoe and even cast a line to try and catch a big one.

We enjoyed the view from our room, made use of the balcony & chairs. Was like being at the cottage - fire pits and chairs were available by the riverside. Great choice at the Continental breakfast. Could have used some more accessible plugs for devices.

We attended a wedding reception here. The locale is beautiful. The staff are amazing! The food was awesome. Made for a beautiful evening. Highly recommend this beautiful lounge!

Worst hotel I stayed. Price is confusing. Different price between French and English version.
It is very noisy at late night. Room is super cold and no one came to help.

Great staff, great service, super continental breakfasts. Pool a great addition! Location and price were fine. Gentleman at registration was attentive and got our room lights fixed. Will visit again.

Terrible, dirty run down hotel (more like a motel or inn). Dust on tables, floor was filthy, bed sheets didn't seem new (no fresh bleach smell), stained toilet, cracked paint, ceiling was leaking (top floor was using the shower?), Sliding doors to the balcony are broken, screen door would not close fully (slanted), AC / Heater was filthy and dusty, love seat was disgusting with stains or mold. Woke up at 4am from creaking noise of people walking on top floor. Overall, cheap motel feel and dirty / old. Woke up with a sore throat from all the dust.

We had a flight at 5: 30pm that got canceled and rescheduled for the next morning at 10am. This hotel was one of 6 hotels that our airline provided for us. We choose this hotel because it had an airport shuttle and was 10 minutes away from the airport. It looked great in the pictures. We waited 10 minutes outside the airport for the shuttle. Our room was nice and clean, had a balcony with a nice view of the Rideau River. The hotel had beers for sale at the front desk. My husband and I bought 2 and we took the kids down to the dock. The kids through rocks into the river, we enjoyed ourselves. The pillows and beds were comfortable and we slept well. The next morning we had a nice breakfast that was included in the stay. We had coffee, juice, yogurt, sausages, and toast. Upon going back to our room we received an email from our airline saying our flight was delayed again to 7pm that evening. We called the front desk and told them about our flight they told us we could do late check out at noon. We asked them if at noon when we checked out do they happen to have a place we could leave our luggage and they said yes we can keep it here with us. So at noon we did our late check out and they kept our luggage for us while we went to have lunch next door. When we came back to the hotel we asked if we could rent a canoe and they said yes. So we took the canoe out for a couple hours to kill time. When we came back to the hotel they offered us some cold canned drinks, free of charge. They also didn't charge us the usual half day price for the canoe rental they gave us a discounted rate. They allowed us to stay on the hotel grounds as long as we needed. The staff was understanding of our situation, they were friendly, and very accommodating. They also called the shuttle for us at 3: 30pm so we could get back to the airport again. This was a wonderful hotel experience, we will remember their hospitality and will absolutely will stay here again if we are in Ottawa for the night.
