An awesome view from this bridge! If you like heights its perfect! Other wise it would be a little scary is the bridge moves and you can see through it the the river below!

The bridge is smaller than expected but gives nice views of the Trent River and Ranney Falls.

It was quite busy at the time we visited so masks are recommended since it can be hard to social distance. The bridge sways when it’s windy and because there were a lot of people on the bridge so heads up if that’s something that would bother you.

There’s limited parking but worth the visit for the views and walking trails at Ferris Provincial Park on the East side of the bridge.

Great hidden gem - good place to visit with family. Stay cautious with your phones on the suspension bridge.

Well worth the visit. Amazing views, amazing engineering, but quite scary if you're not a fan of heights! Ranney Falls was also fantastic. The paths and parking were all easy to navigate. Trying to work out where to go next.thinking about the Amazon. I think I'll decide when I've got 100 nice reviews under my belt. Watch this space and say hello over there if you find this!

A great experience walking on the bridge with beautiful scenery one side and falls on other side.
Free parking available on both sides. Remember, one side has trails to walk towards the bridge and has small park in between.

Please visit our YouTube channel "Nupur & Chandrak" for exploring the location.

We loved visiting on our bikes. There were only two other groups there the whole time were there. The warden came by and offered to take a photo as we were in the suspension bridge and also recommended the Ranney Falls Trail. We did that and it was equally as good. The transcanada trail goes through the park but parts of that aren’t bike friendly, (maybe a mountain bike with some good tires) in case anyone is trying that. Friendly people working here!

It was very nice to walk the trails, go over the suspension bridge and get outdoors! I kinda wish the dam was open so you could sit on the rocks, but it's all closed off: (

Very neat to look down the river on both sides when you're in the middle! The views are terrific!

Awesome views on both sides of the bridge. Best for a short trip and free parking was a bonus. Enjoy hiking trails and a small waterfall.

Great place for a short walk. Make sure you park in the proper spot. Security does patrol the river bed as we found out. It’s a beautiful spot to be if you were allowed to be in the water. However as you’ll see in the pics you are not supposed to be in the water because the dam can open at anytime…. Yet dam openings are scheduled events. Sooo….

Easy to park if there are low crowds. The Island is free to access so don't need to enter Ferris Park. In non-covid times I would have spent an hour or so looking out over the gorge.

If your goal is to see this bridge then there are ways to see it without paying the Park to get in. Not worth the day pass. Also be sure to use a restroom before this trip. You do NOT want to use the outhouses on site.

Stunning views. Terrifying walking across the bridge, but that's just my fear of heights! Absolutely beautiful, go see it!

If you want to take a pics with the bridge all to yourselves. Walk a quarter of the way then jump up and down. People will evacuate, take pictures.

A beautiful Bridge to walk on. It see through floors give the feeling of walking on air. It can be accessed through Ferris provincial park or from the main road as well.

The bridge is surprisingly intimidating the first time, keep your phone tight! The wall toward the water is kind of muddy but the water area is really beautiful

Beautiful gorge. Might not spend much time if you go to only see the bridge n lookout. People even camp or picnic there.
Trent Severn waterways is one unique pass for kayak, yatch, boats. They 3 levels and for every step the water level rises and doors open and the boats pass through. Eventually the roadway bridge rotates 180°and makes way for boat to pass the gorge. It was interesting to watch.

It looks longer in the pictures but it's not, any way is a nice place if you add the hike of the park.
24 May 2021 9:46
Good hight with nice view, however bridge length is not that big. If you like to see the flowing water from the bridge then this is the best place to see. You can actually see the water right under your feet. Persons scared of heights should avoid.

Definitely worth the detour we took on our way to Algonquin. Can be accessed via Ferris Provincial Park or Campbellford.
10 May 2021 19:46
Beautiful lookout and experience. Walking over the netted bridge can be scary if one has a fear of heights, but I make sure to look out at the sights instead of straight down. The views are lush green in summer, vibrant and colourful in the fall and pristine white in the winter. The trails near the bridge are also worth exploring.

Went a few weekends ago. The path up to the bridge was a sheet of ice with no salt on it at all. Saw several people walking and almost slip and fall so we didn't even attempt it as it is a health hazard. As a tourist spot it should be kept clear or snow/ice or be reported as closed and inaccessible in the winter.

Nice walk over river & falls to Ferris PP. Park has easy hiking and no charge when you go in this way.

Has a great view along with the waterfall. The bridge is awesome and its has trails to go around and have different views. Nice place to visit.
03 April 2020 20:36
Good place to check out but not for dogs the suspension bridge is all metal grating which our dog had trouble walking on as her paws got stuck in the grating.

We went there last summer.parking was easily available.not very crowded. No charges for parking or visiting the bridge. A Sunday well spent. There is a beautiful trail to follow post u walk over the bridge. There were a few more spots to click some grrt pictures

Visited on the weekend and the winter views of the gorge were pretty. Not overly busy which was nice. If you stand still on the bridge you can feel the bounce when people walk across. Once you cross the bridge you have access to Ferris Provincial Park, the trails are easy to navigate.

I was there in the winter, so the walking trails were pretty sloppy, but the bridge provided picturesque views of the river. I'm looking forward to going back to Campbellford in the summer!

Very cool, great view and parking available. Access Ferris park from bridge and nice walking trails and picnic areas.
23 November 2019 7:23
Lovely nature walk. Parking is available (not through the park). Sign on building is misleading as it states "no trespassing", however parking is allowed.
23 October 2019 23:31
Awesome walk on the bridge to admire the great view. Planning to go back when the leaves change and do it again!
14 October 2019 19:08
So nice and beautiful. Quite and calm place.
Free parking and free entry.
Hiking is so refreshing besides the sound of the fall
03 October 2019 16:34
A lot shorter and less wow factor than expected, but it's a nice combo between hiking in the provincial park and the gorge view
27 September 2019 17:41
Beautiful bridge across the gorge. Nice view.while you're visiting, enjoy a walk through Ferris Park
