RBC Royal Bank

Bank Manager does not like people of colour and will call police on them for coming in to pick up their new, approved credit card.

I opened account with rbc with tablet offer but just to let you know it is a scam! They will deduct 16$ fees every month and you can not close the account for 2 years. Its like youre in agreement with them!

Worst customer service in the history of banking. I asked to have an appointment with business advisor to help me with my questions about opening a new account and they booked me with people who can even answer anything and where juste there to rush me into an account… lost 20 minutes. I gave an extra star because Victor was learning and tried his best but everybody else were just straight faces in a grey building. I don’t think I will do business with this establishment.

I went to this branch to order some NZD and they took the order. After 5 days they called me and told me they are not selling NZD anymore. I could not believe RBC is doing this to me because I don’t have much time to buy NZD. They should let me know earlier not wasting my time. I am so disappointed with the service.

Branch staff are excellent. The ATMs close at 21h. Not appreciated especially as it has one of the few US$ withdrawal options.

Horrible service. The guys here are just sitting at their desks and the line is getting longer and longer and they are not choosing to help anyone.

I went to use the atm and it was closed because of covid, so I has to spend more time and money and gas going f another bank down the street to use their atm which cost me an extra 6$ and about 30mins of my time. The time before that, there were 2 people camped out in the atm spot coughing and sleeping so you had to literally step over one of them to get to the atm. It was very dirty as well. I was not impressed that I had to use another bank's machine and pay to go further out of my way. They didn't notify customers online or anything that they were putting limited hours on the atms. They should have put a swipe your card to get in after a certain time like most other banks.

The worst customer service experience. The teller was super rude and so was the Assistant Manager. They made mistakes over mistakes in a transfer I was trying to get done. They overcharged my account without my authorization. They were unapologetic and the Assistant Manager was unprofessional and petty. They need to be trained for professionalism, get cultural sensitivity training and learn how to treat customers politely.

Terrible customer service. Rude and unprofessional staff and assistant manager. They blamed us for their own mistakes. The worst customer service experience one can ever have.

Very rude and even when pointing out their own rules from their own site, they refused to provide service. Took me 15 minutes at TD and they were MUCH nicer. Definitely will not recommend.

Terrible branch. All the clerks are very unwilling to help you or try and find a solution. Refuse to do even basic services like changing American without you fully setting up an account. Rbc customer service is also some of the worst around. Good luck finding an Rbc atm too since they’ve shuttered 90% of them in the past years. Steer clear of the stuffed shirts with their auto-script and no abilities or knowledge at the south keys RBC or better yet pick a better bank like TD, Cibc, or Scotia who actually want to help their customers and have a future in Canada. From a 10 year account holder who’s closing it ASAP.

Well! 2020 and 45 min wait in the lineup at the branch doesn’t mean they are busy, it means that their online banking sucks or their process needs a lot of improvements.terrible experience!

Very unprofessional teller. Answering questions with difficulties. Makes you feel you r asking him a favor. I feel very uncomfortable at this location.
RBC has no sympathie for people with disabilities: neither the VISA département.

This is exactly why I hate going inside the branch. I need exactly a 20 dollar bill and 2 twoonies.but the machines dont give change so I have no choice. I've been standing in line 20 minutes.one customer is cashing in about 500 in change and the other is talking about her whole life to the teller. I get that both tellers have to be welcoming and friendly.but what about people who are in a rush and need to go.were stuck lining up for long periods of time? Maybe a manager or back up teller should be available. What an added aggravation and stress.then the guy lining up in front of me was waiting longer just to ask to tell the teller he is here for an appointment because nobody was there to greet him or answer questions. Ridiculous

This is a horrible bank. Left the bank and went home only to realize they didn’t deposit my money. That’s nothing though my husband deposited a check on the weekend from our landlord and then they froze his whole account saying it’s in the fraud department because it is “unusual for him to deposit a check “ LOL he gets his payroll in his bank every week but that’s no excuse to be accused of fraud. On top of that they underdrew his account and took some of his pay check too. Then said it won’t be fixed or unfrozen for 5-6 days. No one did anything to help either. Horrible bank and horrible service I switched to Scotia and my husband will be now too
