I went to change my name on my account due to marriage and increase my credit limit (for context, I opened the account when I first arrived Canada and I have since been employed and even updated my employment information in my online profile but I have still been unable to increase my credit limit).
I had gone to the branch about two weeks prior, to confirm the documents I needed to present in order to change my name and was informed that I only needed my marriage certificate and some Canadian government ID. I went to the bank today and presented these documents to one of the staff. I was surprised when he asked that I present an “Ontario marriage certificate “ (I didn’t get married in Canada). I explained that I didn’t have any, as I did not get married in Canada. I also presented my international passport from my country with my marriage name and my PR card with my old name. He scanned everything but said that he had to send my information to the head office in the US (I don’t get it!) and he also mentioned that it “may not be approved “ (or something like that). It was confusing because I understand that this is something that should be done on the spot but hey, what do I know‍️.

With respect to my credit limit increase, I was told that it will be declined my the head office in he US because I was on maternity leave and earning EI. This sounds so strange to me because the records are there. It’s clear that I am employed but I’m currently not working because I have a baby but I guess that doesn’t matter because I’m not working at the moment. I would have expected that my credit limit be increased given that I have my bank statements to show that I’m working but again, what do I know.

It was a very frustrating day for me. I don’t understand why these seemingly straightforward things have to be so complicated.
Getting my name changed on my drivers license and my health card wasn’t this way!

Wow. I just saw the calmest bank teller ever. So professional and polite. One rude customer in front of me just aggressively walked to her and throw cash and his cards at her and asks her to do something. She calmly greeted and did the transaction but whenever she was asking a question from that crazy dude, he was so rude to her and said give me your name for review because my fees are always waived. She wrote her name for him and did the transaction. People please show some respect.these people worked hard during covid.you must appreciate them. Take your anger on somebody else.

I should add this bank teller (named H) took me and other clients after this.and was an ansolute sweetheart like nothing happened.

Best branch in the area!

It was one of the best Banking experiences. Client manager Nastaran made my day by fast and quality service.
I would also like to mention Marlon. He is such a responsive and caring professional. True customer oriented specialist who will leave you with no doubt about your choice of the Bank.

Worst customer service. They have your info they check ur credit whenever they fee like for no reason at all without you as a customer giving them consent and not that you have applied for any loans or anything

I always find everyone in this branch is very helpful and friendly. The manager does the extra mile too to help. After moving, I went to the other branch closer to my place and didn't get the same feeling. Since then, I will just go to this branch to do my business. Thank you!

I (Kasım), came to here today to do international money transfer. Because of my English level, ıt was difficult to explain myself. However, one of the 5 star worker, Marlon saved my day. He was very patient, understanding and helpful. I was very satisfied with his work. I will definetly keep coming here. Thank you Marlon for your help.

The staff was unprofessional. One teller (not the one i was dealing with) made my son (3) cry by speaking meanly to him. Im sure if he was not black she would not have done that. The because the teller I was dwaling with could not address the issue we were there past closing. And then they rushed ke out of there with my son who was inconsolable because if that woman. And I was only at the branch because they had some issues. Terrible bank and branch.

I am not currently with RBC, however, I did have some inquiries about opening an account. When I went to this branch the teller named Nastren answered all my questions.

I was sceptical at first but she assured me that this was a smart move, she truly helped me. She was kind, caring patient and understanding.

I really recommend this branch!

Outstanding customer service. Unfortunately I had problems with my card twice but Marlon and other staff really go above and beyond to support the customers. Clear communications, they are mindful of our time, follow up on requests and keep a friendly environment

I have been dealing with John Yoo, Asst Branch manager in the branch, first to get a Heloc and then with other stuff and he always takes time to look into things and resolve and that too very very quickly. I appreciate his hard work and commitment and kudos to RBC for auch a strong team member. Thanks John.

This bank service is slow and inefficient. The approval process of credit card took more than two weeks! The manager forgot my appointment and didn’t call me till I called the customer center to reach out her. And I called on Aug 28th and she told me my credit card will be arrived within 4-5 business days. But I still haven’t received my card.poor customer service and I will say good bye to it soon.

Perfect branch in the neighborhood. The staff at this branch are incredible especially Nastaran who is not only polite, Patient and professional but also very smart and diligent. She always helps us figure out the whole transactions.

Great branch in a good area. In a hard situation like now the staff are working hard and they are really nice and helpful and the best service! Especially an Iranian lady called Nas.

Amazing work during this hard time. An employee named Hana took care of my business and guided me through online banking to show me stuffs. She was well-informed in all areas I needed help with. I highly recommend this branch to everyone.

According to COVID 19 the branch is open for essential banking stuffs. Today I went there and I begged the lady at the door to deposit some cash to my account and she refused. I am so disappointed: (

I went to that branch to update my financial status and received an excellent service from financial advisor Sanaz Chenari. She was very helpful and efficient in solving all my issues and acted very professionally. If I need again to go to RBC to find a solution for something I would not doubt to meet this advisor again.

This bank'personal are very rude and gossipy. It's managers and personals. You say something and because that person didn't like it not only mistreat you and full around with your bank issues but also he/she whisper to other one and other one treat you bad as well. 3 people Korean are mistreated and abused my bank issue in this bank. 2 of them manager and assistant manager very rude and two gossipy counter person.all Korean. I do not suggest this bank to anyone. Why can't people just think and judge for themselves instead of listening to others and start mistreating people for no reason. I wish head office of this bank do something about this kind of people working there cause this kind of people ruin their business and make people quit having account there.

Talked to one of tellers there, she was super helpful and knowledgeable, she did her best to solve my online banking issue, was on the phone for so long patiently, great job Iranian lady.thank you RBC for hiring these nice people.
