Walked into this bank today but the employees are not at all welcoming. Rather they gave a stern look on you and their tone is very Rude. Didn't expect this kind of behavoiur.

Made an appointment and got suddenly cancelled. Called the advisor online, got hung up after 30 min on hold and THEY NEVER called back. They should call back since they took the time to investigate and they got all my information I only got the call center # AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO REACH SAME PERSON.

Ragav Sood is the worst attendant I have ever experienced in my life!

We chose this bank as it had a higher rating than most and chose to apply for 2 credit cards. The attendant Ragav Sood, could not fill out any application properly. We had to repeatedly reiterate our simple request for an application of 2 credit cards. It was then promised in 7-10 days for our cards in the mail.

2 weeks later after numerous follow-up calls and emails, nothing! Ragav Sood did not even submit the applications even after repeated requests in person, in phone calls and in emails.

He has either never worked in a bank before or has never ever received any training at RBC, what products exist or even how to submit an application for a client! This is absolute insanity! I don’t even expect this service from a third-world country!

Stiff branch. Go to a different RBC. The only branch that won't verify drafts from other banks. That is a standard thing in banking, they are too stiff here.

I recently made a deposit at ATM but the machine ate the cash without crediting my account. Teller told me that they would get the money back to me on the first business day of the next week. However, I went back to them 3 consecutive days the next week and were told I need to wait for 10 more days. This is simply unacceptable and I don’t feel they were even trying to help at all. I need the money for my tuition and rent and they just kept telling me there’s nothing they can do. I will absolutely escalate and see how it goes. At this point of time, I would not recommend anyone I know to go there for business.

Worst branch ever. Wait is long due to always being short handed, tellers are super unfriendly and they don't really care about customers at all. Get me out of here is written all over their faces. Might as well just fire them all if they don't want to be there.

Showed my ID with my name and home address on, answered the security questions correctly. Still cant reset my password because the signature. All the employees got no respect and bad attitude to the customers.

The two employees who work in customer service, one is a white woman and the other is filipino, were beyond unprofessional and rude. They verbally assaulted my parents who just wanted assistance. It's 2021, people should not be racist or hateful towards others. RBC please higher your standards when it comes to hiring workers.

The employees at this branch have NO RESPECT for their customers.

I had an appointment at the branch and asked to use the bathroom. On my way, one of the employees came to stop me and said I cannot use the bathroom "due to covid". I told her that I have an appointment and came to the branch directly after work. Also, she could see that I was limping and had difficulty walking. She had no compassion and was very rude! She stayed to watch over me to make sure I didn’t use the bathroom. I asked to speak to the manager, but he was occupied. After a few more minutes of waiting, I could not wait any longer and headed to the bathroom again. She came to stop me again and was insulting me, which was very humiliating. When the manager finally came over, he said I could use the bathroom. The employee didn't apologize, even though she could clearly see that I was in pain and discomfort!

Recently moved to this area and found this branch to be not very professional nor very knowledgeable. Wanted to apply for a credit card, a banker booked me an appointment with Alan to apply over the phone. He called in, asked for some basic information and said it will take him about an hour to start application and he will call me later. He called back in about an hour as promised saying that they have system issues today and he wont be able to complete application today and will have to call me the next day which I agreed to. Never heard back from him and still without a credit card, had to go in person to a different branch I used to go to apply. Very disappointed with such service, especially when being a loyal RBC customer for many years.

Bank is fine but Mutual Funds Representative Dinah Savona has a very bad attitude, not being presentable and she doesn't provide a good customer service. I personally believe that she has to be downgraded.

The worst customer service. What was that tellers name. Lizi or whatever she doesn't deserve to work there. Making one simple draft shouldn't take like 30minutes.just completely rude and doesn't know the work.get better training!

I had some concerns about charges when I contacted call centre they said this can be resolved at branch level only when I went to branch teller connected me to branch manager who listened to me & promised me to call back but I never heard back no one will expect such service from managerial position

This location is wonderful, defiantly one of the better RBC locations around. I recently visited this location to deal with an Estate issue and they made the process seamless.
I have read the comments below, the one in particular was from a gentleman named Reza Aminman. This individual seems like quite the A**hole. Anyone who take the time to make such references about people so specifically is obviously the person who was the problem. Mr. Aminman, maybe the next time you want to be so rude and judgmental about employees who are doing their job, maybe you should reference the “no harassment in the workplace” law. You appear to be a person carrying a lot of anger and RBC is better off without as a client if you ask me.
Now, back to my experience. I did not have the pleasure of meeting either manager, but will take the time to introduce myself the next time I’m in. They have met all my needs and would certainly recommend this branch for future banking needs.

Parma singh is very rude and she had a bad attitude towards me. It was one of the worst customer service I had experienced.

Nothing against the tellers but the branch manager and the assistant manager, Mark S.and Dinah S, are extremely rude and unreasonable. They played a dirty game, lied and misrepresented the facts and the banks policies just to, not only, enforce their unreasonable position onto the client (me) and the teller, but also to solely support each other, in the interaction I had with them (not even supporting the tellers; just each other).
I have never seen such behavior from employees even in the private sector. The RBC client services did not take care of my complaint but advised me to take it to the Ombudsman (something that I did/do not have time for and I believe that's exactly what they wanted to hear).
I can see similar complaints about similar issues at this branch that made me write this review.
This branch is very unwelcoming, unpleasantly smelly and the employees appear to be stressed and mad at each other; and their smiles, if any, are clearly fake.

The absolute worst service I have ever received from a financial institution in my life.
The branch manager, Mark Shimov, was extremely rude, patronizing, and kept interrupting what I had to say just to make excuses. At one point, he flat out walked away as I was speaking which was very unprofessional. As a branch manager, shouldn't he at least have the decency to try to listen to his customers?

I understand that employees of this branch cannot solve every customer's problems, but irregardless of the technical problems I had with RBC, I left the branch feeling personally insulted by Mark Shimov.

Really should change their hours online. They are not open the hours they say they are. Customer service is also extremely slow at this location.

I have been a client of RBC for well over 20 years. I have been depositing my salary check into the bank at month end for the last three years. I have never had a hold on my check.
Today, I went in and was told by the teller that there would be a hold on the check.release part of it, but there would be a 4 business day hold. That would take this to minimum Friday of next week. Monday is a holiday
The teller when I told her that there is no hold on my account, told me that's what it is. I said to her that I have never had an issue / hold before. I asked to talk to the manager, she told me that she was the manager. I have never met her or seen her before.subsequently found out that she is an assistant manager.
Continuing. I said to her, what is the problem as I have a notification on my account not to hold salary checks.she replied.well the staff are obviously not doing their job. She also told me to lower my voice. I can see this going well with male customer.
I was mortified / embarrassed and went to knock on the managers door. Mark Shimov. I have dealt with him before on numerous occasions and he was the person who told me that I had to come in to deposit my check at a teller, in order for there to be no holdbacks.
When I reminded him of this, he flatly denied it and said it's upto the banks discretion of whether to hold it or not.
I demanded to know why for the past three years there has been no hold, but today there is. I have a mortgage / condo fees etc which go through my account. He treated me as if I had changed the rules, told me not to cry. He also told me to lower my voice. I wonder if he would have told a male client any of the above.
I was angry, deeply saddened by this.
He eventually told me he would put the check through. I asked what the procedure would be going forward.up to the banks discretion.
I asked for the bank tellers name and his business card as I would be filing a complaint.
I went out of his office, teary eyed and lined up to talk to one of the cashiers I usually see. Mark Shimov the manager, demanded to know what I was going to say. I told him that he had no right to question me.
I am abhorred my this bank manager's attitude as well as the asst manager.
I would truly like to know what would have occurred if I was a male and if I would have gone to see one of the other cashiers.
The cashier I generally see, told me she has no idea why they would all of a sudden put a hold on the check.
I called this into customer service and shall be following this up to RBC Ombudsman.
Very very unhappy client.
