I am absolutely disappointed with my experience in this branch. Komal Barot was assigned to attend to my appointment. I had laid out all my reason for the appointment and my request. I had promptly emailed her the information she had requested the same day, and received no response after two weeks. Even when I told her that this matter was time sensitive. I waited for 2 weeks and called the branch and a collegue of hers answered my phone call telling me she was on vacation. So this collegue told me she will call me back and look into this situation. NO CALL BACK! And that was the first and last time I had ever heard from Komal which was on my first/last appointment. She has a copy of all my T4's, and other personal information and had done nothing for my request. Completely ghosted me. I have been a client of RBC for almost a decade and never had a very unprofessional and incompetent service as I had with her. Lastly, she had given me the wrong information about a service I am qualified for and she told me I wasn't. It seems she needs to relearn things on her end to provide better and correct service to future and current clients of RBC.

I had called a different branch and did my request in less than 24 hours. And told me that I was indeed qualified for a service that was already pre-approved on my account.

I would not recommend this branch for your business purposes - the staff that deals with business issues is downright condescending and rude! This is the first time I've ever been disappointed with RBC's service.

I like RBC in general. They always provide great service. However if you are there with small kids and they want to go to toalet, I am sorry they will have to go to Subway instead even dont need to buy a sendwich.

So in OCT RBC cancels my card for no reason, called in to customer service, the Rep says he doesn't know why suggests I use another institutions card, asked for a manager, she doesn't know why my card was cancelled. Mined you I have a restaurant bill to pay. Rbc offers nothing. Says a new card will come in the mail Jan 2018. I'm at the branch now and the teller advises I can only have a card with swipe. Who takes swipe these days and on top of that the card coming in Jan with the tap feature will need cancelled and I will have to wait until probably April 2018 for a card with tap feature. Let's just say another bank has gained all of my buisness.
