Extremely slow service. Only one employee, wait 15 minutes only to be told it’s a “non traditional branch” and they cannot assist in a fund transfer between accounts. Just go to a normal rbc branch. No point in receiving limited services.

Not only is it a cashless branch but unable to help with a simple non cash transaction. Told to go 5-10km to a real branch. Very disappointing customer service RBC

Used to be a good location until someone decided to ruin it. They removed the tailor services and kept only digital services. The problem is that they don't have enough employees, you can literally wait for half an hour without even finding someone to ask you what do you need or want. This is ridiculous. They need at least 5 more employees.

Ambreen Rizvi (Zahra)
Terrible RBC Representative with a disgusting attitude.

As a Customer Service Rep of over 20 years (I know Reps have bad days but, this experience was totally un-acceptable).

It is not acceptable for Ambreen Rizvi (Zahra) to:

1. Raise her voice at me, like as if I am a child being scolded
2. Address me as “GIRL”
3. Cut me off when I am speaking
4. Speak to me in a condescending tone, saying words slowly and asking if I know what they mean like saying. “I’M V-E-R-I-F-Y-I-N-G … do you know what V-E-R-I-F-Y-I-N-G means?

As a black woman, I am voicing that I felt disrespected. Ambreen felt comfortable calling me “GIRL” because of how I look.

**Ambreen needs Racial Sensitivity Training.

Ambreen was not afraid of the repercussions of such behaviour and I can see why now.

***I am still waiting for my Complaint to be escalated by the Branch Manager ***

I am not satisfied with how the Branch has handled my complaint.

If RBC would like more info on this interaction… I would be happy to share it in order to prevent anyone else from having to endure this same degrading behaviour.

After being yelled at and called “GIRL” for the 2nd time … I began recording the appointment because I was in complete shock at how I was being spoken to.

After I began recording she again called me “GIRL” … asked me if I know what V-E-R-I-F-Y means and justified yelling at me after I asked her why she raised her voice.

After she yelled the appointment was definitely over for me. I listened to her speak a few more condescending words and I eventually asked for my documents back and got up to leave.

She then told me to “SIT DOWN” because she knew she was in the wrong. She said “SIT DOWN” “SIT DOWN” …. It felt like an abusive / toxic exchange. After you speak to me like that you want me to “SIT DOWN”?

This was the lowest level of Customer Service I ever received.

This is the most disgusting and terrible branch there is in GTA, I’m overall okay with rbc but if you need my advise go check any other branch but not this one

Waited in line for over an hour today, was literally the next person. There was three tellers but they work so slow would not recommend this location

The service of today is quite good. The woman whose eyes are really pretty and a handsome guy helped me with my account issue. People are less today because of weekdays.

I’m surprised to see such a low rating for this branch. I’ve been here a couple times to seek help for things I didn’t know how to do online and the people working here have always been nice and helpful.

Recently I went in to deposit an USD cheque and the person helping me, who happened to be the branch manager, explained the whole process to me and helped me open up an American account. She was very nice.

How long you will wait in line will depend on the people in front of you and what they’re trying to do.

Terrible customer service
Lana Was very very rude and just literally filled when I asked for a simple transaction to be done
Unhelpful and did nothing to resolve what I was asking for
Very rude and bossy
Definitely not recommend this branch

Disgusting customer service from Irene. We have had business accounts with RBC for over 8 years. Telling someone “I don’t want to talk to you” is not customer service, it’s RUDE. We are also a local business in the same building as this branch. One of our employees went to get change, a simple transaction that we do weekly, because he’s new he didn’t have the account number. Irene refused to help him even though other branch staff confirmed that the business does in fact have a business account.
We will be closing all 3 of our business accounts.
The only thing that keeps this branch running is Maria and Pius. Irene handled the situation very unprofessionally.
Luckily the Convinience store next door had better customer service and was able to give our business change.

I wish i could give 0 stars. The absolute worse customer service I have received in Canada or at any bank to be honest. The service rep was rude and didn't know anything about the bank's own products. She couldn't answer simple questions. Her name was irene. I suggest never going to this branch especially to this teller. I closed all my accounts from here and moved to BMO where they treated me much better.

As a former staff and someone who’s been in customer service for 3+ years, I hate to break the truth but the Client Advisor at this location Irene really should be fired for her behaviour. My friend and I are both RBC clients and my friends wanted to transfer me some funds over the counter. She brought her Passport and debit card. When Irene was advising us, I asked Irene ‘why is it difficult to have the funds transferred’. We were in a bit of a hurry so I could have waited a little longer before I asked Irene that; however, Irene’s response was shocking. She said, ‘ I am not talking to you. I am only talking to the client over here becuz you are not the client’ I was completely at a loss for words. I tried to argue but she quickly cut me off and said again ‘I am not talking to you, you are being very rude’. That’s when I became very mad and I told her I don’t like her attitude and would like to speak with a manager. She just handed us over to a financial advisor who clearly did not care at all. I emailed the manager to complain about Irene’s problematic behaviour but looking at the reviews here I realized they probably won’t take this seriously. As a customer service agent myself I know tellers could have a bad day with clients and they get underpaid, but they are here to do the job and if they have to take it out on innocent client like myself just becuz they hate their job, she really shouldn’t be working here representing RBC at all. I would give Irene a -10 if I could on NPS

I do not know what to say that they are rubbish and steal money. The people who work inside are good, but the system is bad. I do not advise anyone at all. I cannot explain to you the amount of suffering

I went in with some apprehensions reading the feedback out here. Boy, was I wrong. The staff were welcoming and patient with all the customers that were in front of me. I was fortunately attended to by Shruti Bhatia and she went out of her way to get me started as a new account holder. Phenomenal hospitality and eagerness to help!

Booked an appointment to open account for kids. The person who we met took a very long time to setup the accounts. Did not answer my questions completely and at the end took us to the teller to setup passcodes for the card. Teller seemed a bit confused about the next steps. Today my daughter tried to use the card with me and the machine said that card is not setup. I regret going to this branch.

Long lines because this branch has only two tellers who are very slow.
