RBC Royal Bank

I've had some issues with RBC recently but my interaction with Keyla was a breath of fresh air. She was very patient and polite and able to answer all my questions. Even laughed at my bad jokes

This is the worst bank, allover in Toronto. Such a bad experience. They don’t know how to deal with thé customers. I booked an appointment 15 days ago for April 15, when the day came, I got a call from manager in the morning around 9 saying that your appointment at 12 pm cannot be accomplished, due to shortage of staff. They told me to reschedule and that was weeks after, just for opening a bank account. I didn’t got any confirmation or email regarding cancellation of appointment. Then, I called customer support, the lady on the phone consulted with the bank advisor, and he said the appointment is still under his system and we can visit. I came to bank, and I was told to wait. After waiting, the advisor told that I have to talk to manager. She said your appointment was cancelled in the morning, when she called me, refused to help and offered no assistance. They could have easily helped me as there was negligible crowd. I don’t know what they are getting paid for. They have no value for customers time. I will cancel my existing account, and will suggest no one to ever visit this bank. They are totally wastage of time. Everyone has their timetable already setup, I made appointment according that. If you can’t help the customer when their appointment comes, there is no point of offering these useless appointments. Such a bad experience.

Very bad experience at this branch. They charged account fee even after waiving it. RBC employees do not care about their customers and call you personally at the branch without serving its purpose. They are so dynamic not following their promises even you have all kinds of accounts with RBC. So disappointing and worst experiences I have seen in any banks in Canada so far. I will never go with RBC in future for sure.

I don’t understand why there were so many bad reviews about this branch. I was afraid of going there after reading all those reviews. But when i went there I talked to an Indian talker. Very sweet and polite. He listened to my query carefully and guided me through the process. He was very helpful.

Worst lication! Their review rating speaks for itself! Clueless people with no peoples skill! Save yourself some frustration and time and get a different bank or at least a branch!

It is the worst RBC branch in the metro Toronto area. Better to drive a few kms to go some other branch. No respect to the clients. I had an appointments in this branch last week. We were waiting for an advisor for a hour. Advisor didn't know he had an appointment. He was working as teller. Advisor Sohail was unable to adequately explain how to open the new account. He was very rude. I strongly advised never to visit this branch. Think twice …….

Use to be great branch.
Now I would rate it worst branch. All new staff and not work properly. Long sait for no reason and they dont know their job properly. After wasting 2 hours, visited another branch and it took 2 minutes the the same job.

Very disappointed and bad experience. I came to open an account.the representative Manish jetwani had problem for booking me for next day as it was Saturday.it was booked for 1.15 pm after her supervisor convinced him but next day I rushed there missed my lunch but the guy did nt attended me and I waited there for almost 20 min then they told me the guy was on lunch and I Felt bad with the unprofessional and behavior against the customer.

Came into this branch to open up an account, the girl that helped me was not accommodating and was very rude and she’s like ‘we’ll try a different branch then” with a ton of attitude. Did not even bother opening an account with them, if this is how they treat future customers.

Very disappointed with this branch. My credit card was delivered to the branch and no one called me to let me know it was ready for pick up. I decided to visit the branch to ask if they received my card. One of the tellers that was NOT servicing me jumped into my conversation and asked if I received a phone call and if this is my home branch. I said no one called but this is my home branch. She said they would call me when it arrives. The teller that I was dealing with did check and found my card. The lady that jumped in is very rude and didn't even apologize for being wrong. I've had multiple encounters with her and she always has a tone with me. I'm ready tired of this and time to change home branches.

Worst ever experience. Staff here doesn’t know what they are doing. You better obtain a good training before you attend a customer.

My funds for 2 months for no reason Which suffered my business. No one should come to branch!

You know I went in there I get a check every year same check from taxes I have a release amount they still want to put it on hold and say it's their due diligence.

Rude staff. Very lazy and abusive. Only one guy working in this RBC. They always eating while serving you. Specially that Jamaican lady is soo ill-behaved.

As a realtor, some times I do need to help my client deposit the cheque for rent payment. I have issue to do so at the branch at Rexdale & Kipling. I was planning to go to the one at Queens Plate, and saw the other comments. I thought it is the Standard practice for RBC, didn't realize it the other day I went into a branch in Mississauga, and I was told that I just need the account info.

I have been attending numerous different RBC branches and this particular branch has the most old school policies I ever heard of. It is the closest branch at our law firm and we are responsible to make third party deposits. The manager at that branch refuses to help anyone with third party transactions. Other RBC branches that I have to drive over will accept no questions asked. Very unfortunate.
