Yasin Hossain RBC advisor. I had a meeting with him and unfortunately I was not happy with it at all! I had an appointment that I had to book way earlier about an important matter.within 5 minutes of our conversation he finalized everything without even asking my information or open up my account to see what exactly am I talking about. Just my answer was no and I’m not able to do or apply for what I want. I may consider to close my account and have it somewhere else as this is not the first time or first Branch that had this kind of customer service.

Not sure why this bank always has a huge line up and they always have two bank tellers. While the rest of the staff is not working. The manager is pathetic.

I went to the bank to obtain information that was not available through online customer support. When I asked the cashier about the information, he was unable to assist me and provided poor customer service. He suggested that I call customer support again. This was the worst RBC branch I have ever been to.

Very disappointed with the service of this branch. It took them almost 3 weeks to process a simple application only to tell me they couldn’t approve it for the stupidest reason. Which is ok, I understand not being approved, but 3 weeks? Also, their communication wasn’t transparent which could have saved me a hard hit on my credit, and it took unreasonably long to get back to me. Their service was incompetent. There was no number to reach the person I was communicating with and every time I called it would go to the contact centre who also have extremely rude agents. The same application was approved by Scotiabank the same day with much better customer service. After my experience I’m never going to open an account with this bank.

Unusual number of customers waiting to be served, I have never seen such crowd lining up in a bank! And the clerks don’t seem like they are doing close to their best, not even remotely, to help tackle the situation. So many if the budgets are casually “Closed for business” as if everything is absolutely normal!

Recently, my wife and I visited RBC branch on Eglinton and Warden to open an account.
We met with Abdulrahman and had a great experience. Abdulrahman completed everything we had requested. He took his time with us and answered all our questions. He was straight forward and very respectful. The customer service he provided by Abdulrahman was extremely helpful and friendly, pleasant and very knowledgeable. This was the most pleasant banking experience I’ve ever had!
I thought it would be helpful and necessary to give my feedback to whoever reads this review and needs to visit a branch in person. I recommend you visit this location.

SITHIN (Financial advisor) -I went in just to get a bank draft. I didn't realise there was a $9.00 addirional fee. But was informed by Sithin that my account had some benefits regarding that transaction and more. But no one educated me about it. Sithin spent his time explaining the benefits of my account and how to get the most out of it in regards to points and my checkbook. I will be following up with him as well, for my future investments. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism. Thank you Sithin.

Slowest bank branch in Canada. Staff is poorly trained. Badly managed. It doesn’t even get that busy and there are always line up. Horrible.

My husband who has a fear of banking recently wanted to activate his credit card. What he went thru was nightmarish. First the telephone call expected wait time 1 hr. Finally got thru to no avail. He went personally to Woodbine location he waited another 2 hrs again to no avail. He wanted to close his account. Finally I called JP our advisor. I told him we were closing our account. I received a call from the branch manager Nevin Lee, we nade a appt he photocopied all Ud and we left everything in his capable hands. Giid news he was abke to activate card on our behalf. He saved the day. We value his time and can't thank him enough for his help. Deborah & Anthony Azavedo

I had bad experience today this branch of RBC. I went there for make a pay cheque for my business purpose. They asked me who sent this amount to your account. I explained that it is my wife. Then they asked my wife’s account details. I gave that too. After that they started about to asking how she got this money and why she is transferred to your account. As i am an account holder why they want ask my source of income and senders income? What stupidity is this. And they took my one and hours to take to make one pay cheque. It is too ridiculous. I will never go to this stupid branch, and i am planning to close my account just because of this unprofessional staffs.

Went to deposit a paycheck and they telling me this check has non sufficient funds. A paycheck.

The service is extremely slow, and there is no follow up after your appointment.

What makes things worse is the fact that you can't count on calling to get online service because you have to wait over an hour to be assisted over the phone, only for them to tell you that there's no service.

RBC is not the best option for banking in this country.

I was in line for 45 minutes today and this is not the first time. On previous visits I have waited on average 25 minutes to get to a teller. Tellers and security guard are polite and have no control over this mismanagement. RBC's reputation is really under question by what is going on in this branch. I will try to reduce my number of future visits to this branch as much as possible.

I just guys recommend you do not go there They are so slow and they cost you a lot of problems I lost my debit card I want to get it I show to them my two ID which was my driving license and my PR I didn’t get it And plus she told me can you go apply in your home branch Hamilton Are you can apply online for a debit card

Even i had such a bad experience in this branch, i still believe RBC is one of the greatest bank in Canada. I was waiting in line for 30 mins in order to withdrawal some cash. One of the clerk took my driver license and debit card then walked to the back for at least 5 minutes WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING to me. He started whispering with the manager from the back, and obviously i couldnt hear what they discussed about. After that, the manager came to me and refused to withdrawal $3000 cash for me just because my address from my ID is away from this branch, even i had answer all verification questions from them. She (the manager) knew the reason she have given is not legit enough, so she started making up other excuses such as saying some of the money came in this account for only five business and they are not able to withdrawal.
WHAT? I highly suggest RBC to rebuild this team because they are really ruining your reputation.

The worst bank that RBC has! Absolutely horrible customer service. The manager has no clue how to act respectful or be responsible and very little knowledge on day to day banking.and the whole branch is very lazy I would not recommend anyone do their banking at this location

This branch manager has single handedly stalled on closing out a safety deposit box, and then challenged my elderly mother's legal Power of Attorney, and effective today.she has had RBC block me from helping my Mom do her banking! This slick maneuver translates to my 91 year old mother (who lives in a nursing home) have zero access to HER money! Can't withdraw any money to buy sundries, can't oay any bills, can't buy her grandkids gifts! NADA

Complaint sent to the Ombudsnan ️ And at the end of the day, we will prevail, RBC. We will come to the Eglinton and Warden branch, we will see the branch manager, we will close out the safety deposit box, and then we will close out ALL of our business with RBC - chequing, Savings, Visas, LC and Life Insurance. Hello CIBC

Awful service at this location. I booked an appointment, received confirmation emails, and text message reminders, all just to be told that the branch was closed during the time I was booked when I had arrived. Don't work with this location. They'll just waste your time.
